The Topper is a decent dive bar in Endicott. I have visited the Topper a few times in the last couple months, typically to catch some local live music. Food here is good, and I do recommend the wings as they hit the spot. On live music nights be warned, this establishment can be quite packed depending on who is playing!

Food was decent. The crowd is as others described. Didn’t see any fighting but definitely saw the potential lol. We had great service. It was packed when we arrived at 7:30 but cleared out minutes later. Will probably go back again since it’s close by.

Great local bar. Very spacious. Friendly staff. Burger was really good. Nice selection of craft beer cans and bottles. Only place that I know of that has Genesee and PBR on tap.

Cool bar with plenty of seating. Has a pool table and a shuffle board.

Sir Chirps

Been to Toppers many times. Its strictly a blue-collar crowd, NO charge to see a band and decent drink prices. Great little place to kick back, empty a few with good people while getting a bite or watching a band. I highly reccomend the place as a little-known local gem of the night life scene.

Service is very good. Mike is an amazing cook. Billy Joe is a great bartender. Prices are very fair. The only complaint I have is that the person who does sound for entertainment on Friday night brings enough equipment to accommodate Madison Square Garden. Overkill and way too loud.

I'm in the market for a go-to bar and had pleasant experiences at Topper years ago. The atmosphere is casual and the layout comfortably accommodates plenty of viewing space to the band and dancing. My only disappointment, and this is a deal breaker for a hang out location, is the service provided by the 11 year employee behind the bar. When I ordered my drink, I requested water in a glass rather than a one use container and was denied. Her first reason was that plastic cups were the only way she could tell who was underage. That's when she told me she had been there 11 years which seemed like a comment meant to make me accept everything else that followed. When I commented I don't like to use one use containers, she said it was the owner's policy. The band (Broken Arrow) was very good and played classic 80s, among my favorite genres. I'm going to suggest they play at Kelli's in Endicott as the service is excellent and welcoming.

Used to go there frequently prior to covid. Was a great local bar with decent food.Our first time back was very disappointing. The new barmaid ( not the one from pre covid)was friendly enough, but the cook was different . I ordered a BLT, which was okay..hard to screw that up. Hubby ordered the half lb burger, medium, with well done fries. When it came, the burger was the size you might find on the kiddy menu, and was overcooked. The fries, while hot, were simply nowhere near well done. What a disappointment, as we really looked forward to returning there. A Oh, additionally, the Guinness tap was out.

A typical townie bar. You'll see the same regular drinkers every day arguing the same old stuff. The food is typical bar food. The atmosphere is what you'd expect. If you like a quiet place to get drunk it's fine, otherwise pass this place up.
