One of the best restaurants, I'm speechless. Service is guaranteed by the kindness of the owner Simone, always with a smile and explanations of the dishes and ingredients. I highly recommend the cuisine, as the menu is always dynamic and flavorful, using the highest-quality ingredients of the moment. The dishes, from appetizers to digestifs, are both quality and plentiful, among the best I've ever tasted. The prices aren't affordable, but for the quality, they're worth it. The place is very charming, intimate, and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend it, thanks Simone for the service.

I went there for the first time with a friend and we were simply blown away! Let me start by saying that we both love seafood and, therefore, are very critical and attentive to detail. The menu is extensive, unlike any other seafood restaurant in the area. Here, you can REALLY feel the SEA and a true love for cooking. In addition to the menu, there are also "specials" of the day. We opted for the daily special: seafood pasta with the addition of "super" crab (order for a minimum of 2). Well... what can I say?! A riot of mussels, clams, razor clams, shrimp, scampi, chopped fish, and then the crab! (Attached photo shows how wonderful it is :) ) All served with homemade pasta cooked to AL DENTE! The balance of flavor between fish and tomato was simply perfect! Value for money: fair. An awesome seafood restaurant! Let the guy -Sergio if I'm not wrong- suggest you what to pick. My friend and I shared a full platter of appetizers and they were all delicious. Then got another platter each and it was definitely too much, one of mixed appetizers and a main one to share would have been just perfect. Good wine, very attentive service. 50€ each, as it's sea food indeed. Definitely worth it!!

We just left the FRA 'PAPINA restaurant in Erba, a village in Northern Italy, and we've just experienced the best restaurant in Italy!! We started with a seafood platter for 36 Euros, absolutely amazing!! Then we had a pasta dish with prawns, clams, tellines, and langoustines in an exceptional sauce. My wife had a prawn and zucchini risotto with unforgettable flavors. Congratulations and keep up the good work! Very reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere, and impeccable service!! Remember to book ahead, as it's often full.

Saturday evening in Erba, we went to this restaurant for a special occasion given the good reviews. We started with the cold appetizers (which, in my opinion, weren't bad) and then moved on to the hot ones (which were really good). For the first course, a cream soup with crostini (also not bad), and for the second course, grilled calamari and a sea bream that was very respectable, as the photos show (the calamari was a bit overcooked, while the sea bream was delicious). We finished with two desserts, both also good. Definitely worth trying again. 👍

The place is small but welcoming. If I were to return, I would skip the appetizers, as the excellent first and second courses are more quantity than quality. The portions are generous, the homemade desserts are also excellent, and there's a nice selection of wines.

The food is reasonably good. Lovely pairings. Both the atmosphere (despite the hideous plastic flowers) and the service are pleasant and informal, although perhaps a little too folksy. I've been back.
