We went to the Sea Grill for our 19th wedding anniversary. We were able to call the same day and make a reservation for dinner. From the outside looking in it look like a very small restaurant but once you got inside, the atmosphere was great everybody appeared to be having a great time and it probably seats about 100 people. We were lucky enough to get James as our waiter, he was very personable and make sure that we had a great time, understood the menu and was there for us at every turn for whatever we needed. And before we could ask to see the dessert menu, we had a piece of coconut cream pie I believe it was on a graham cracker crust. It was absolutely delicious. If you’re ever in Eureka and looking for a really nice Steakhouse that also offers seafood, give them a try.

We enjoyed the varietey of selection in regaurds to the seafood. I ordered local Lingcod with Chantrelle mushroom topping. It was a special they had for the evening. The clam chowder before supper was very fine after the Kumamoto Oyster appetizer. The waiter we were lucky to be with really made it a very nice experience. Best in Eureka for our traditional special night out. Our experience with seating in the bar area surpassed previous visits where we sat in the main entry area.

Amazing spot for a slightly more upscale dining experience. My husband and I went here while stopping in Eureka for the night on a roadtrip from Seattle. We didn’t know what to expect, and we were very pleasantly surprised. We had Samuel as our server and he was working most of the floor by himself. You could tell he knew what he was doing and loved it too. He was very efficient with taking orders and explaining things on the menu (which took me aback at first, but then I realized he is just a well oiled machine haha). My husband and I shared a carafe of the house white, which was probably too much for just the two of us haha, but it was a surprisingly good house white! We got the bay shrimp cocktail and bread to start. The bay shrimp were good, but honestly I’d just get extra bread next time (Samuel said the bread was killer and he was not lying). The house salad was good, but my husband got the clam chowder and said it was awesome! For the main course I got the scallops which were AMAZING with a side of the polenta. I was blown away with how good it was, and the portion was well worth the price! My husband got the crusted Ahi steak which he had nothing but praise for as well. I had a bite and would definitely order that if we came back. It also came with a lovely pickled cucumber salad. He got the twice baked potato as a side which was also very good, but the polenta was the winner for me. The mixed vegetables were a little chewy and undercooked, they seemed a bit like an afterthought, and I just figured that everything else was more important haha. With the amazing portions, and wine, my husband and I were very happy with the cost/meal. We mentioned to Samuel that we were driving from Seattle to SoCal, and he spent like 15 mins letting us know his favorite places to visit on the way between Eureka and San Francisco. What to see, but also what to skip. We took his recommendations and it truly changed the course of our trip, so thank you Samuel! It’s obvious that the staff loves their job and cherishes the customers they serve. If we are ever in eureka again, this is a must-stop for us. Fantastic food, great portions, and amazing service with a lot of humanity.

Wow! This place was so great. We were able to enjoy fantastic drinks and our meal at the bar on a busy weekend evening. We didn't have a reservation but we're assured before hand that they could accommodate 2 people after they opened at 5pm. The oysters Rockefeller was superb. The macadamian crusted halibut was the special of the night and delicious as well. It was just an enjoyable restaurant with amazing fresh food and staff busting their butt to give excellent service! Would definitely recommend.

We arrived early and were seated late because we wanted to screw around in the bar before being seated. The staff was very accommodating. The menu was well balanced and the wine selection was excellent. It wasn't the absolute best meal I've ever had but it was damned good. I was very happy with my experience.

M
Marabeth Madsen

What a delicious meal and a fun environment! Highly recommend. I am sensitive to gluten, tomatoes, and garlic, three ingredients that are core to 99% of Sea Grill's menu, but the server and the chef were about to find a delicious option for me--the scallops. Yum!! Really enjoyed my birthday meal. And the crem brulee was delicious!!!

J

The best dinner I've had in a long time had the steak and lobster with chowder soup to start. Lobster was delicious every bite and was huge with beautiful presentation. Steak was perfect and enjoyed every single bite till it was gone, perfect, medium rare. Place was clean, smelled nice, & had nice music playing. I love that I had the chance to dine her and I recommend everyone to try this place passing threw or local.

OMG food was amazingly delicious. Fyi reservations recommended. We walked in at 530 and hostess (she was a gem) did great job finding us a table last minute. We did wait at the elegant bar tho for about 10 minutes. Katie (?) our waitress was the best. I had almond crusted halibut in lobster sauce. Mouth watering. On a 10 day road trip around the west coast and this is one of my best meals. Clam chowder was sooo delicious, one of the best I've had. Great job Sea Grill. The ambiance is well appointed. Lovely charm. Staff is on their game. Five stars.

I attended the Sea Grill for a company christmas dinner. The wait staff was attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full and our plates cleared promptly. We were in a party of 15+ and the wait staff managed to take care of all of our needs. The full course meal was quite enjoyable. The crab appetizer was a delicious start, followed by a satisfying salad and bread course. The main course of prime rib, lobster, and twice-baked potatoes was hearty and flavorful, and very fulfilling that i couldn't finish my plate. I did, however, save room for the coffee and decadent chocolate cake which was an excellent combination. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I will definitely be returning to the Sea Grill.

We enjoyed the Snapper, Filet, Clam Chowder, and local Oysters. The Kumamoto Oysters out of Humboldt Bay are delicious, a must enjoy. They also have a respectable wine selection. We walked in 30 minutes before close and received amazing service and food!

We were traveling from Oregon to Southern California and decided to try the Sea Grill. Located in a beautiful historic building downtown, we were seated in the bar area which was a bit quieter than the main room. Friendly and knowledgeable server. The night we dined they had an instrumental guitar player who provided a wonderful atmosphere for the meal. The food was excellent. Clam chowder (no bacon) was delicious. The beer battered prawns and petrale sole were both great entrees. Crème Brûlée to finish. Highly recommend this establishment in Eureka. In addition, we left behind a personal item and the staff went out of their way to ensure we received it while we were in Southern California!

Can recommend a visit here for food. Very traditional. Hearing is poor and I'm afraid the background music wasn't background and was too intrusive. Spoilt our conversation. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board.

What is very nice showed up at a good time they open at 5:00 for dinner the food was really good it can be kind of expensive for a plate but it is so worth it my man got sturgeon tacos and I got the Snapper it was delicious they also have good clam chowder and bread

I cannot put into words how phenomenal the food was. My, wife had the lobster Alfredo with the house clam chowder. Honestly, can't think of a time I have had a better Alfredo, the Alfredo sauce was to die for!!! The portion was perfect... My wife couldn't't finish it so I got to eat the rest. I Main course for me was the lobster and stake both were absolutely scrumptious! I honestly couldn't rave enough about the food here... A must try if you're in the area. The restaurant was a little too dim for my liking, this was with the added lights from their Christmas decoration lights. Rest, of the decor was a bit dated and didn't fit with how sensational their food is.

One of the best seafood restaurant in town. Food is amazing, even the sides taste great. Menu is pricy but it is worth it. Try the steam clam for appetizer

Fantastic dining experience in Eureka! Staff is highly attentive and engaged in your dining experience. The dining room itself is dimly lit and offers a warm romantic feel. Food is outstanding - we loved the entrees. Pictured below is the Snapper Amandine and the Dungeness Crab Fettuccini. Definitely worth the visit!

We were lucky to get a seat at the bar instead of trying to get on the list without reservations (thank you to the server for that). The busy bartenders were able to get us severed dinner and some delicious coctails from their menu without missing a beat slinging drinks out to the tables. The Halibut and the Otsmmysters Rockefeller were both on point and delicious. Definitely would go back.

We came in a busy time so the service was a bit slow, but food is excellent and large in portions.

5 stars experience: Great environment and atmosphere!!! Exceptional service!!! All of staff is super friendly and nice!!! Very attentive to any customers’ needs!!! Nice and fast service to serve you bread and appetizers (e.g., soup or salad)! Very reasonable wait time to be served with freshly cooked delicious food!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!! Would love to come back!!!

Old-fashioned in a charming way. I ordered a salad and a twice-baked potato with the snapper amandine. My husband ordered clam chowder and a plain baked potato with his scallops. They also served us warm bread with whipped butter. All of the food was excellent! Our waiter Luis hit that perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a great dining experience!

M

Had dinner reservations for Saturday night (party of 2). We arrived early and sat at the bar for a drink before going into the dining room... Food was very good: fried calamari starter was excellent, salad & chowder next and then 2 entrees, snapper & halibut, all very good.... no room for dessert (although it was offered). The Star(s) of the Show and the reason for the 5th Star was Daisy & James at the Bar and Laura (recommended by Daisy & James) in the dining room. These 3 individuals were very entertaining and truly understood "Engaged Hospitality". Thank you 3 and the Team in the Kitchen for a most enjoyable dining experience! We will be back and look forward to seeing you all again....

We were severely underdressed for this place, but despite that the wait staff was very polite to us. We stopped in for dessert and coffee, and it was delicious. I had key lime pie which was amazing. (I asked them to take off the whipped cream, otherwise it would be prettier than the picture I've posted here.) We'll definitely be back!

Q

The seafood pasta and local beer were very good choices, especially the services. I arrived quite late around 8:45pm, right before the closing time. The service staffs were very nice and patient to seat me and take my orders without any rushing, I finished the dinner around 10:00pm, and there were still about 6-7 tables with guests. Thank you!

Would recommend eating here. We ordered the calamari, clam chowder, salad, baked rockefeller oysters, prime rib with jumbo shrimp. It's been a few years since we've last eaten here. We will be back soon.

Great customer service! Greeted immediately when we walked in and were sat. Had a wonderful, attentive server who made the experience perfect. Every single thing was delicious and fresh. 100% recommend the halibut! The scallops were also awesome. AND the DESSERTS. Ate them too fast to take a photo but the crème brûlée and key lime pie were so good!

Opened since 1988 and the same owners. That should say something. Alot of the staff has been there a long time. The food is always consistent. Best sea food in Eureka! Best creme brulee in #Humboldt Extra parking in the big parking lot off of 5th St. After 5pm.. Open Tuesday- Saturday 5-9pm for dinner. A local favorite restaurant!

Amazing. I wouldn’t change a thing about this place, the menu, or staff. I came in alone to grab a bite and finish some work around 4:30. The kitchen didn’t open for dinner until 5, however, they set me up at a small quiet table, brought out an appetizer plate, and I ordered a cocktail which was delicious. My waitress was very professional and attentive. My ahi tuna was great. I can’t wait to come back!

K
Karin Yamaki

It is an old interesting place with a funny decor, maybe because I was expecting something with fancier look but ended being like my aunt’s home. Little dark, we went there for my husband’s birthday celebration, and I missed some more lights. We loved the food though, it was great! Main course always comes with salad or chowder. We tried clam chowder with mushrooms, it was creamy and very tasty. The pan fried oysters for entry were little bit different than I was imagining but also good. My favorite for tonight was the lobster pasta, also the special of the day, it was amazing, very good sauce.

C
Charlotte Swab

Such fantastic seafood. I had the ling cod special and my husband had petrale sole stuffed with Dungeness and shrimp special. Split the coconut prawns appetizer. Nice that dinners include soup/salad which is rare these days. Generous portions. Drinks were strong. Dimly lit which I like. Waiter was very attentive. Gorgeous old school carved (probably redwood) bar.

Sea Grill absolutely dazzles! Seafood is impressively fresh, steaks perfectly cooked, and the vibe blends cozy woodsy charm with beachy flair. Calamari steak with twice-baked potato was awesome, and my husband said their clam chowder was the best he's ever had. Wild salmon and Dungeness crab are incredible too. would come back just for the dining experience alone!

My friend and I are on a road trip from Washington, driving south and eventually ending up in Oklahoma. We stopped in for dinner and had the most delicious meal with exceptional service. Samuel was a stellar server and even provided us with some tips for places we should stop on our way further south in California. The chowder was superb! The steak cooked perfectly! The fish light and flaky! We will be back!

Five stars for locally caught seaweed + excellent service (thank you, Paula!) + pretty perfectly cooked dishes made for a lovely meal. We were very happy with the crab cakes (substantive and loaded with crab), lingcod (perfectly cooked), and scallops (scrumptious!); and the crème brûlée for dessert — unfortunately the sugar in the key lime pie was overpowering. Sadly, the decor in the main dining room is somewhere on the spectrum between thoughtless and ugly, and would greatly benefit from an experienced interior decorator so that the atmosphere reaches the excellence of the food and the service.

Our server Katy was attentive and very kind. The bartender made a delicious lemon drop. The scallops were seared to perfection and cooked in a garlic butter base. Our dessert was a flourish chocolate pecan with whip cream. My compliments to the chef, baker, bartender and Our server Katy. We will be returning. Oh, and the baked oyster Rockefeller were delicious.

Amazing food and service. Me and my fiance just got married and the service was incredible. Samuel, our server, was excellent and even took photos for us. The portions are generous. Make sure you're hungry - you'll want room for the main course after all the bread and soup (get the chowder!). I got the scallops and would highly recommend them. Overall, a wonderful place for special occasions with great atmosphere and service.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my husband after we eloped in the redwoods. Comfortable atmosphere, food and drinks were excellent, and service was fast and friendly. Fantastic seafood. Stopped by randomly as a walk in on a trip I was taking. Great serving sizes, the bread was fantastic, i had some japanese oysters I've never tried before and they were like butter. I wish I could remember the name of my server because he was incredibly friendly! Unfortunately I only had one night in Eureka to explore the menu more but the halibut was great. Will definitely be on my list the next time I pass through.

We came in with eyes wide open, having read a few reviews mentioning high prices and underwhelming service. Thankfully, our experience was quite the opposite. From the moment we were seated, our server Paula delivered exceptional service—attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations, including the daily specials. The food was outstanding. The fish and chips were fresh, perfectly cooked, and had Sea Salt’s unique twist. My wife ordered the beer-battered shrimp and couldn’t stop raving about it. We also shared the Kumamoto oysters—fresh, buttery, and tender. They were a true highlight. The only miss was the cheesecake, which unfortunately fell flat and didn’t match the high standard of the rest of the meal. That said, don’t let one dessert deter you. Sea Salt offers an incredible dining experience, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Sea Grill! I wish I could eat here everyday, the polenta meal is by far one of my favorite meals I’ve eaten, ever. I eat at Sea Grill at least once a month. This restaurant is lovely and holds a high standard of quality. The service complements the food and the drinks are well made. Complements to the chef!

I'm so happy to say that my husband and I have a new favorite dinner place in Eureka! The food and service was absolutely phenomenal. I told my husband in front of the waiter that I would have a little taste of the clam chowder he ordered, and the server brought back a small cup of soup just for me -- on the house! One of many thoughtful touches. We are so looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful restaurant. The clam chowder was absolutely amazing. Like no potatoes, and the clams melt in your mouth. Even the guests were friendly and came over to mention they enjoyed seeing our kids there. I ordered the halibut special and it was over-done. But after asking if they offered it, our waitress also asked the chef if he could do a tomato sauce for our kids' pasta without us even requesting it of her. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

Dave Newcastle

Almost five stars, as the food is very good and enjoyable - but just short of superb. Price was a factor in that judgment, as their pricing suggests better. Any place serving mushy squash as a vegetable in a $40 entrie is a notch down to start, for me. Just didn't go with the nice scallops and polenta. Oysters were a bit off, and serving bread and butter like in a diner seemed odd for an otherwise nice place. All little niggles, but enough to lose a star. Chowder was excellent, as were a number of other aspects. Great staff and pleasnt dining room.

W
Wendy Barckholtz

Wonderful crab fettuccine and chowder. Nice atmosphere and staff. Fish and Chips were quite greasy and soggy, so I think their strength is the other dishes. They were fantastic. Great wine too. Be prepared - this is a splurge place, price-wise.

One of our favorite spots in beautiful Old Town Eureka. We had the Lobster Fettuccine last night and it was decedent and amazing! Huge chucks or lobster in a perfect garlic alfredo sauce. Everything on the menu is fantastic. We love to sit at the bar and have dinner. A Eureka gem.

R
Rachel Landers

The crab fettuccine and the macadamia crusted halibut (the special), house salad, chowder, polenta, dinner rolls and a glass of cabernet wine were all very good. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We did not need reservations at 8pm on a weeknight, dress was casual and families with children were there. The primary negative point is that my wine glass had two lipstick lip prints on the glass when it was served to me. But, the waitress was extremely apologetic and immediately replaced my glass of wine. No further offer of recompense was made or requested. The total cost was $111, plus tip for the two of us. We took leftovers, but the leftover container was flimsy recycled paper product and the sauces from our food soaked through fairly quickly, so not good when traveling and needing to store in a cooler, which we are. Parking was street parking and there was a homeless girl wrapped in a blanket huddled in the doorway of a business across the street from the restaurant, right beside where we parked, so that was a little sketchy. I'm giving them a 4, because overall, the experience was a good one with only a couple of minor improvements needed. I would eat here again and recommend it to family and friends.

This weekend we visited Sea Grill for the first time. I was very impressed by the aroma in/outside the restaurant. The smell was very aromatic and we were very excite to try out their menu. The welcoming staff she was very friendly. The restaurant has different seating options for dining in. The bar, fine and standard dining, but we were not asked where we wanted to be seated. They also have a party/event area for reservation. The female restroom was clean and comfortable. There is no dress code. I would say formal casual to formal dressing, depending on your event. We were out on a date so we were formally dressed. The mocktail menu is limited, but you could ask them to make something for you. The complimentary bread and butter were very fresh and taste. We were planning on having two appetizers, two main course and one dessert. We ended up getting half of what we originally planed because our server was not attentive as much to us and had difficult time answering my questions about the menu. We order beer battered prawns and it came with salad and baked potato. The salad is crisp and the vegetables were so fresh and we got it with ranch salad dressing. The baked potato was average. The main course was very delicious and cooked properly. The prawns was fresh, large and seasoned well. The side sauté vegetables were salted and nicely cooked. We also ordered the crème brûlée. I think everyone should start their order with this dessert, that's how good it was! I honestly would not mind just coming here for the crème brûlée. It was made with perfection. We love the over all ambiance of the restaurant, I just wish we got better service.

I had dinner at the Sea Grill. The restaurant had a beautiful decoration, and the staff was nice. Restrooms were clean. Parking was a little bit difficult, at least over the weekend. My chowder was delicious, my tuna was just ok. I do recommend this place for sea food lovers.

Nice restaurant for dinner in Eureka. The place requires you to wear mask to enter and they do check temperature before seating. The tables are spread out to meet local COVID19 regulations. The menu has a good selection of fresh local fish. We tried various fish dishes and they were very good. The service was a bit too slow - we had to wait for an hour for our appetizer. The staff mentioned that kitchen was backed up for some reason but overall the place was nice for dinner outing.

Great place, lobster and standard fish and chips were ordered. I sort of wish they hadn’t whisked away the carapace so suddenly. Disappointed salmon wasn’t on the menu considering the lobster was available. Honestly, I prefer Gallagher’s fish and chips. I really loved the seasonal veggies. Great place though, it had been awhile since I’d patronized. New Year’s Eve made it extra memorable. Thank you, Sea Grill 😊

First time here and the atmosphere was great. However the food wasn’t that great. The scampi, prawns were overcooked. The pasta not so tasty. The appetizers were the best of all. Really tasty. I would be find if I had stayed just with the appetizers. I totally recommend the Rockefeller oysters and the polenta. Added their pictures for reference :)

Fancier than I'd expected. They were able to seat us even though we didn't have reservations. The calamari and fish & chips were excellent. The clam chowder tastes like it has wine as an ingredient, so that's something to consider. I ordered the seafood pasta special. It wasn't worth 40+ dollars. The prawns and salad shrimp were overcooked. I wished I'd ordered the fish and chips also. The kids menu is nice and good sized portions. The staff are friendly and helpful. The appetizer came out quickly, but it was a but of an ackward wait for our dinner. I'd return.

The halibut was cooked wonderfully! And the staff was superb and very friendly! Felt the presentation could have been a bit more fancy of the dish itself or the prices could have been a bit lower. Great meal though! Was not overstuffed and was delicious

I had fish and polenta....it was rock cod. Very good but the chunks of fish were not firm and there was too much breading. Fantastic waitress, Lora. P

We enjoyed the complimentary chowder, and the fried calamari and mushrooms were all good. The seafood fettuccine, however, had more sauce than I prefer. We also noticed afterward that, even though we had a dinner reservation, we were seated on the bar side of the restaurant, next to the staff service door, which has a bit different vibe from the other any area.

The service was excellent, very welcoming and informative. The Ahi was cooked perfectly but the twice backed potatoes were very dry. Local oysters were delicious. Lots of beer and wine selections but sold out of lots of dishes. We were there the kater part of the service but definitely affected the ordering. A bit pricey but that is also expected from fresh seafood restaurants. Would definitely return on a special occasion basis.

The atmosphere was nice and the service was fantastic. We ordered the calamari, crab cakes, almond crusted halibut with a citrus basil cream sauce, polenta cakes, and coconut amaretto cream pie. The halibut was good, but could have used a bit more sauce. We enjoyed the polenta and the pie. The calamari was unremarkable and neither of us cared for the flavor profile of the crab cakes.

Our visit to the Sea Grill was not our first. The meals again met our high expectations if not exceeding them. The restaurant and bar were busy, but we did not experience delays. But the food was outstanding. We were a party of four and each of us ordered a different meal than we had not had before. One of our party is a true foodie besides having been a professional in the industry in the past. She was equally complimentary for the quality of her meal and the service. We recommend Sea Grill when in the area. We will return again when vacationing in the true north coast of California.

We dined at 5:30 on a Saturday night. My wife and I both had the prime rib. We ordered it different temperatures but when it arrived both servings appeared exactly the same. The reason for that was that it was the day befores roast microwaved. The bill for this poor meal for two with tip was $150. Won’t go back.

The atmosphere was nice, the place is lovely. Our server was very nice, but the food, for the price, wasn't great. The seafood was cooked well, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't the star of the plate. I got scallops, and the way it's served is like a scallop soup. Not great. The sauce/broth was super salty, and overwhelmed the scallops, which were small (I only note that because I believe the menu says large scallops (I can't remember, though) and it's $40. Everyone else in my party got the beer battered prawns, and they gobbled them up, so, maybe that's the dish to get. Enjoy!

Food okay (over cooked tuna entree, long hair (not mine) in my salad). Servers either new or very far in the weeds. We were meeting 3 people there. Walked in, found hostess toward the back of the restaurant, told her the name reservation was under; she said our party had not yet arrived and we could wait in the bar. Walked into the bar and found our party seated and enjoying a shrimp cocktail! Husband immediately went to tell hostess we found our party - she had no idea what he was talking about. Server brought menus, took orders, and then gathered menus without waiting for everyone to order. Had to ask twice for my Oban, which i asked for on the rocks and received poured over a full glass of ice as if I had ordered a Coke! Long waits for attention from server. Creme Brulee magnificent. Remainder of food okay.

Heavy food. Large portions. Soup/salad choice plus potato choices or rice. Salad was great. Chowder was strangely sweet. Everything comes with assorted veggies (these were steamed to perfection!) Opera type singer in the room. Sings very loudly and then after the performance, plays the guitar. Lots of noise in the room. Must talk loudly to be heard. Our waitress was annoying. Talked very fast about all the choices. Was hard to comprehend with so much presented. Didn’t understand personal table space and reached in frequently. Didn’t “read” the table personalities well so even though she was smiling, came across rude/off putting. Main courses, once you removed heavy sauce were nicely cooked and flavorful. Veggies were great.

It started out as a nice dinner till the main came out. I had ordered the sea grill shrimp fettuccine. I was looking forward to it until I got it. They use salad shrimp. I could not believe it. Oh and my wife ordered the steak and lobster. $125.00 just for hers. Crazy. With just two sodas and their mushrooms appetizer it was over 200 with tip. The food was good but not for that price.

Let’s start off by saying we’ve been coming to this establishment for many years and have had the best memories like birthdays and I was proposed to there. We went this last Friday for my birthday. The service was AWFUL! My daughters made a reservation for 6:30 and they were there at 6:30 and the guy was asking what appetizers they wanted as there were putting decorations up, and he kept asking over and over. Even after they said, we’ll order once we are done with the setup and the others get here (we were there just outside door, so they could set up). As we were sitting, the waitress started asking for drink orders. I said, could we have a second? She was already irritated! We ordered drinks and asked for a minute to look at the menu. She takes our order and says people will stay seated in their spots correct? It was my birthday and there were three little kids and they were excited to see me! Yes, they moved chairs, but we know when food comes to have them in their seats. She was so annoyed with being there in general! She handed my food to my daughter and she said, for mom. My daughter is mom also, so she said, thank you, the waitress rudely said, it’s not for you, it’s for her! We asked for bread, we had a group of 9 and they brought enough for a piece each. The waitress said, we’ll have to charge you. We said, that’s ok. She NEVER came back with it. She didn’t have to do any extra for us we all ordered water, besides the little kids and one bar drink. But we didn’t ask refills or anything extra. They did cut my cake for me, but of course they grab it and don’t tell you there’s a charge. The charge is ok, just let people know. She was just so rude and the guy helping her was so pushy! We had two bills one for $167 and one for $250! She proceeds to say oh the tip is added. I was so irritated, because at that point we knew why she was so rude, because she knew she had her tips already. Paying a $38 tip for 4 people, the service should be amazing! It was the WORST experience! Oh and we had 9 people and had 9 chairs, she literally came and took my grandsons because he wasn’t sitting in it, so we had to ask for the chair back! We will never return! The waitress was Paula and we didn’t get the guys name unfortunately. I would give 0 starts if possible

Made a reservation, was sat at a table, was not seen by a server for 15 minutes, finally waved one down to order an appetizer, was served really delicious Rockefeller oysters, was also served an overcooked plate of fettuccine, an overcooked filet grilled on an unclean grill top, and an ice cold baked potato, a side of overcooked zucchini and bell peppers, and was recommended a less than satisfactory bottle of wine. I did let our server know about the steak, and potato, and asked if I could have another plate of oysters in replacement of the overcooked steak. The OWNER then came over to my table with, what I thought was a piece of cake and an apology, was actually my cut up steak on a single plate, with her trying to tell me, a trained chef, what a medium rare steak looked like and was trying to convince me that that’s what it was. Inappropriate and I’m honestly appalled at such a seemingly upscale restaurant. Owners can do better, especially when she’s representing herself in such a way.
