Always a pleasure to eat here. Great service, many options, and excellent taste. Reasonably priced for mama and poppa spot. Support local businesses.
We go here almost consistently. The staff the food everything is excellent. I can only wish them much more success.
Food is always so good! Staff are kind, favorite Thai place in Westchester
For information: this location is closed . Sorry
Great authentic Thai food and the owner is a very nice person. There is parking in the back of the restaurant if you cant find parking in front of the restaurant.
The food is excellent. They make magnificent duck. The liquor drinks are good too.
Haven't been here in years as I go to Accent Thai in Yonkers because it is closer and less costly. I remember the food at Siam Being excellent and I liked the ambiance of the restaurant.
Excellent Thai food and especially excellently priced lunch specials! Love the Black Noodle, aka Pad See Ew.
The Best Service, The Best Tai Food , The Best Price..Family Owned and Operated... you just can’t beat this kind of establishments..they are an extinct breed. Highly Recommend.!!!!!!!!!!
The food is fresh, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Awesome place to eat. Generous portions.
Great food. They told us because of the economy they are going out of business. So go support them before they have to close!
Great chicken pad Thai, mom and pop shop, will be coming back again to try other dishes
Great food at a great price. Nice spot for a date night. Try the Thai iced tea.
The service and food was really yummy. Best Tom Yum soup I have had in a while. 🙂
Nice family run restaurant, service quick and unobtrusive, food excellent. Will definitely dine again.
resonable priced good food. I ordered salad dishes and curry. Both salad dishes are excellent. Curry is ok.
Great food and service. Family operation. Will return. Pad Thai and wide noodles were on point!
Missing the lunch specials. Consistently good food. Ice Thai coffee is amazing.
My third time eating here and I have to say it's the best papaya salad i have ever had i could eat it as the entire meal. 🍝🍝🍝
Had vegetable spring rolls, pad sweet and sour with tofu and a Thai ice tea with milk. The meal was delicious and the staff very pleasant and courteous. A relaxed ambiance with a clean bathroom. Will visit again soon!
We eat here once a week for 5 years. Outstanding food!!! So fresh and homemade... Tana is a delightful man. Do not come if you want to rush and snap your fingers... relax and enjoy... you are on Thai time!
I visit a lot of Thai restaurants all over the place and until now, I thought pad Thai was supposed to be dry, but it's not. Best pad Thai I have ever ate. The only complaint was I asked for Thai spicy and it wasn't, but the flavor more than made up for that. Will definitely be going back.
Great local Thai place with refreshing and unique flavors. Friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. Had the Thai Basil, papaya salad and the chicken larb. FYI Chang beer perfect pairing with all dishes.
This is the nicest Thai restaurant in NYC, I love it because it has fresh food and taste that reminds me of my hometown. I go five times a week because I can't find a better restaurant than this one. Well, now that I'm going back to Thailand, I’ll miss this place a lot.
Always tasty and fresh dishes, presented in a lovely manner. Comfortable atmosphere, soothing music and calm service.
Excellent Thai food, friendly service and a great price.
Anyone saying the food isn’t good clearly doest know anything about Thai - saw someone aaying onions don’t belong in pad Thai ? Those are shallots silly - and th most definitely belong in there ! Massiman curry was tasty and fresh - pad Thai was tasty and fresh, girlfriend loved the Thai tea and my coffe was great! Will be back !
Best Thai restaurant around. The best Thai coffee I have ever had. Love the curries especially the green with eggplant, just as flavorful whether spicy or not. Great service.
amazing food for the value!! service is slow but the food is worth it :)
Solid food, always good and worth the wait on busy nights if ordering to-go.. Staff is super nice, and I have never been disappointed in the many items I've tried!!
The food was great, specially the fried fish with ginger sauce!!! for sure will be coming back again and will even order some to go in the future!!!
Love their chicken satay and many other dishes. The baked fish is always very fresh! Owner once even stayed late just for us because we ordered too late and didn't realize they were about to close. Great food and service, adds a lot to the local community!
Delicious food including fried rice, pad Thai, veggies dishes. We were really satisfied with everything which was so tasty. Will definitely be back. Was way better then most of the Thai restaurants we have been to in NYC. Service was friendly and fast.
This is our favorite restaurant. Food is delicious and the price is surprisingly low for the quality. If you are in the mood for Thai you should definitely try this place.
The food is excellent, fresh, tasty, and inexpensive. The portions are just right. The service is very nice, and attentive but not pushy. Waiting time without undue delay, in line with expectations. The place is clean and tidy. It's definitely on my list of favorite restaurants. Love it!
I come here very often with my family, and have never been disappointed. The food and service is always top notch. The food is authentic and flavorful. And the workers here are always so kind and accommodating. I plan on continuing to come here as a frequent guest.
This is one of my go to places close to home. Excellent Thai food in a mom and pop style restaurant that’s never too crowded.
Fantastic Thai restaurant! The food is delicious, prices are unbeatable, and the service is quick and friendly. A hidden gem run by a wonderful family—highly recommend!
Always seems to be empty when I go in but it’s always phenomenal. The owner seems very strict with how he runs things and it definitely pays off. Everything is delicious, the drinks too! Thai iced tea is the best here and I’ve been to plenty Thai places to know.
Very good Thai food. My personal go-tos are the pad Thai which can be paired with most meats or vegetarian options and the various curries. The food is very flavorful, but if you like Thai food to be really spicy, like I do, you gotta let them know or the default is a mild level of spice.
Very fresh and well cooked Thai food with excellent portions! Everything is cooked to order, so expect it to take a little time. Well worth the wait. Great indoor dining area that is very laid back and relaxing.
This was one of my favorite restaurants growing up. I’ve been here with both family and friends on different occasions. I have yet to find airier, flakier, or more flavorful curry puffs than the ones from here. Genuinely hope either the closing is temporary or that a comparable restaurant replaces it.
Great food. Everything on the menu is good. Save room for Mango sticky rice (dessert).
I happen to be in the area and decided to pop in to eat before driving home. I just went to Thailand earlier this year, and ever since coming back, I have felt the Thai food in NYC is nothing compared to what I experienced on vacation. I have only been able to found a few places in NY that feel like the motherland. And this was one of those places. The taste of the food was incredibly flavorful. The staff was nice and attentive, the place is decorated with authentic items, and then even have a small bar. The prices were astonishingly low for NY. It’s affordable and delicious. Definitely will be coming back.
Amazing and tasty food! We ordered multiple dishes to try everything out! The service was really good, our server (maybe owner) was answering our questions and also giving us recommendations. Truly a great experience, however ambience could be a little better; it’s a bit quiet. Also super affordable!!
Update with 2nd visit! Last time I did solo Date for lunch and loved it. So I brought hubby for dinner. OMG! Hubby loved it! Ok, so it is slightly different from your typical Thai food. To me, (which I love) it's healthier version than others. The flavor is lighter side and all the ingredients are super fresh. Tonight we tried: Edamame Curry Puff Pad Thai with Chicken Green Curry with Soft Tofu + Peppermint tea & Thai Ice Lemon Tea Every single dish was great! Super fresh, great quality. And AMAZING PRICE. All came out under $45. WHAT? Highly recommend! (They don't take their time to cook, so if you are in a rush- pls no. Be patient and enjoy! Totally worth it) ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Excellent! And GREAT Price! I'm shocked these drinks are only $3. And fried rice with Chicken only $11. Quiet and nice. Authentic flavor. I highly recommend. 🧡 I stopped by for quick lunch. I would definitely come back to explore more menu! (Whole Red Snapper definitely!) THANK YOU!
Siam Orchid is easily one of our favorite Thai restaurants! Every dish we’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. We always start with the vegetable dumplings and spring rolls. The chicken satay is another must-try! The skewers are tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection, served with a creamy peanut sauce that’s rich and full of flavor. For the main course, we never skip the Chicken Pad Thai. The noodles are cooked just right and coated in a tangy, slightly sweet sauce. And don’t leave without trying the mango sticky rice for dessert! The combination of the sweet, fragrant mango and the warm, creamy coconut-infused sticky rice is absolutely divine. It’s the perfect way to end a fantastic meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether it’s for a quick bite or a cozy dinner, Siam Orchid never disappoints. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic and delicious Thai food!
Siam Orchard offers the most authentic Thai food I've ever had! From the veggie dumplings and flavorful Pad Thai noodles to the irresistible mango sticky rice dessert, every dish is a winner. I’m never disappointed, and I can't recommend this place enough! 5 stars all around!
It’s a cute little restaurant with delicious food. I had the Thai Iced Tea, the Chicken Satay, a chicken curry dish, and the fried bananas with ice cream. All of it was very flavorful and just right. I highly recommend.
One of the Best Thai food I have tried! The Pad thai was a bit too saucy but still delicious and filling. Loved all the appetizers and the drinks were amazing! 🤩
Wonderful Place. Wonderful Food. A small family owned place with nice ambience. Food is amazing. Never had any disappointed with whatever I ordered. Customer service might not be their greatest strength as they juggle to do multiple things. Definitely recommend & worth checking out.
Very nice people. Great Prices. Fresh food. I now visit weekly. No idea how anyone could write a negative review.
A quiete dining room with light brown wooden panels on the wall like in a traditional thai house. You just feel good and relax when you take your seat here. The food is authentic and good and the service discreet and pleasant. On of the best if not the best thai restaurant in this area.
Great food!! Surprisingly and refreshingly LIGHT. Reasonably priced as well. We came during the day on a Sunday for an early dinner and enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere, delicious, food, and nice service. Definitely recommended 👌
Very good pad thai. Been eating here for years and one of the best thai iced tea’s in town. Tom yum shrimp soup and shrimp pad thai are default orders. Crab Rangoon are welcomed appetizer with generous dipping sauce. Black pad are also good! We always get a good service here any time of the day!
A good balance of flavor, good portions and authentic Thai dishes.
Delicious, authentic Thai food is a clean and comfortable setting.

Delicious, authentic Thai food is a clean and comfortable setting.
Their chicken fried rice and pad Thai are simply amazing. The dum yum soup is the most incredible soup I’ve ever tasted.
Food was extremely tasty you might have to wait a little bit until he brings you a menu but it's nothing personal they make everything from scratch truly enjoyed the service polite good Thai food

Great Thai food. Street parking. Dinner prices are reasonable. Lunch is very good too.
One of the better Thai restaurants around. Parking is always a bit tricky.
Good food for Westchester, but They don't substitute the brown or sticky rice and they put it in very small containers that they charge like three or four dollars for. Also I don't recommend the pad Thai. All the other dishes we had were very good.
Tasty thai dishes for an affordable price. We had the Tom Yum soup which was nothing short of spectacular. Also, had the pad Thai and drunken man which were also well done! Great family environment for a great Thai meal!
Quiet local restaurant. Perfect for a quick bit or enjoy time with someone you want to chat with. Delicious dishes, solid service. Great for takeout too. If you live in the area, this place should be in your rotation.
Quiet Indian restaurant w| an awesome, crispy tofu dish w| noodles or rice, I have had both, & they were equally delicious. Owners & staff friendly & attentive.
Food is good but the service is very slow sometimes, waited 20 mins before someone even came to the table and then brought out our food very late. Half the table finished eating before the other have got their food.
I went at around 3 pm on a weekday. The place was nice and clean, very empty. I had a red curry main dish and a lava cake with ice cream dessert. The red curry looked empty at first glance (only 2 types of veg) but was so so good. One of the top curries I have ever had, though it did lack a bit in heat so you might want to ask for it spicy. The lava cake was good. It was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I did not enjoy that it was surrounded by whipped cream and sprinkles. The sprinkles definitely were not necessary. The dessert was a bit unconventional for a Thai restaraunt. Im from the city so maybe that's just the standard in the area. They were out of sweet coconut rice with mango. The staff was amazing.
First time here and will definitely be back! Food was good, it came out quickly. Lunch special included an appetizer. I added a glass of chilled Plum wine. Was under $20. Parking is not so great in the area in the area, so keep in mind, as it is located on a main road.
The food was delicious, and the price was fair. I would definitely come back here, and I recommend this Thai restaurant.
Ok food My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch while shopping on Central Ave. Decor was very nice and service was decent. I have had better Thai food. My wife liked her Pad Thai.
I love Thai food, I have eaten at many spots across the city and this was far from what I expected. There is cabbage in pad kee mao and pad thai, seems like a filler to make the portions bigger, also the noodles are a bit dry. Food wasn't terrible but definitely the worst I have ever had. The restaurant was a bit nicer than most with tablecloths and nice decor. Prices were ok. Service was off, maybe because we were only customers and close to closing. Gave 4 stars as he tried to accommodate dessert after the kitchen closed
The food was very underwhelming. We ordered the pad see ew, drunken noodles, and Thai basil rice and everything was lacking flavor and tasted dry. The atmosphere is fine, nothing spectacular. We did enjoy the soft music playing during our lunch. Overall it was just fine, but there are better Thai places in the area so we won’t go back to this one.
Dumplings bland and not tasty. Drunken noodles not a bit drunk...no spice, little flavor, no Thai basil, nor any basil that I could taste or see. Tofu was supposed to be crispy in soup. It was supposed to be crispy in the noodles. It was not at all crispy. I'm sorry but I would not go here again. The fish was crispy, probably overly so and was not at all flavorful. I will not be trying this place again. Service was otherwise fine.
Must have been here on an off night. The entree was greasy and was not prepared the same way as at 6 or 7 other thai restaurants in Westchester and nyc. Service was friendly and efficient.
Poorly prepared Thai. Like fast food takeout and lacking in quality of taste, preparation and presentation but it’s cheap, if you’re desperate for Thai, like I was…. Sorry, but I couldn’t even eat the leftovers.
I gave two tries here. It's not authentic Thai. For those who like Costco frozen food, you will like it here.
Average but quick service and low priced weekday specials. Had the Tom yum soup and chicken basil. There are many better places for Thi food. Other than a low price I don't see how this place survive. Perhaps I ordered the wrong items.
Well I’ve tried it and won’t again! Edamame with no soy sauce? Pad Thai with onions?? Didn’t add or take away what I asked for and the chicken was rubbery and tasteless. The spring rolls were ok, not enough to have me come back to this place ever again. Now on to finding another Thai place near me!
We wanted to try this place given all the great reviews and unfortunately found the food to be very average. Our chicken with basil and the chicken fried rice was tasteless and had way too many onions. We've tried this place twice and unfortunately will have to search elsewhere for a good thai restaurant in Westchester.
Ridiculous how hit-or-miss this location is but recently it's just been miss. During the most recent visit, ordered chicken basil, tofu in green curry, and drunken noodles to go, with the request to be spicy, not thai spicy, but it tasted as if all the spice left in the restaurant was dumped into those 3 dishes. Ridiculous, but perhaps they were trying to mask the lack of flavor in their food altogether. The tofu was also not fried, which I found atypical from thai restaurants with hardly any curry in the dish. It is slim pickings for good Thai in Westchester, but from what there is, this should not be your first option.
We used to love this place before the pandemic. Even during the pandemic my wife and I tried to order from here regularly. Their curry was always full of flavor, and was good portions. And then about 8-9months ago, we noticed a downward trend. The curry was very watered-down and it looked like someone dumped a bunch of water in old curry. The chicken was very gamey, as if it was frozen. My wife and I suspected that the curry was probably pre-made and frozen in batches, and then thawed and water added (as the vegetables were also completely mushy). We continued try ordering from this place, but it went from being like this every other order to it being mediocre every time. We used to pick up once a week, but about 6-7 months ago, we finally gave up. The major reason we gave up was because the final time we ordered, I got very sick overnight. Not willing to deal with subpar food and food poisoning to help local business. My colleagues asked me if I had a recommendation for department lunch tomorrow so I wanted to suggest Siam Orchid, so I came here to check the reviews and it seems that they have not changed. I didn't want to leave a negative review back when we stopped ordering from them because I didn't want to hurt local business, but considering that they have not changed at all, I hope the restaurant owner reads the negative comments and correct whatever they are doing wrong.
Came here twice with high hopes based on the reviews and left disappointed. We tried out four different dishes with sides. Every single dish from the pineapple fried rice, pad thai, drunken noodles and red curry were extremely bland with very little seasoning. I have had thai food many times over and thought maybe the first time was a fluke but I won't be returning. Staff are nice but food is not worth it at all.
The shrimp soup is not my favorite, very sour. The sticky rice was not too good. The rice was hard. Overall I didn’t enjoy the food. The only good thing was the tea and the shrimp rolls. The fried rice was okay, a 2 star is a good review overall. I had to take it to go. :(

Avoid this place if you love thai food. The place was slow and should have know that the food was not good. The food was mundane and it wasn't thai thai it was something else. Nice ppl though.
I thought I would be okay because I read the reviews. I ordered vegetable dumplings spring rolls fish with the coconut and pineapple the fried rice rice steak salad at eight from all of this went home woke up at five in the morning with weird bellyache like I had to throw up I ignored it that morning I was very sick my head and my body felt weird by 3 o’clock I couldn’t take it anymore I had 102.6 fever I was admitted in the hospital my intestines had an infection in my colon was swollen I had E. coli and Campo from eating there If anyone has gotten sick from eating there please write the review
If there is zero star i will give them a thousand zero stars! Very rude staff. If you like Yucky dirty food then eat here at your own risk
This was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The person who took our order over the phone got it wrong and would not take responsibility for it. We got take out and they didn’t include any sauces. The food was tasteless. Vegetables not cooked enough. Won’t be ordering from them again.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would! The Drunken Man noodles had no Thai basil & no basil at all!) This was the absolute worst food I have gotten at a Thai restaurant in my entire life (many decades: I'm a senior)! Also, while sitting in my car, I called to ask if my food was ready. The man lied and said that my food was ready, when it was not! I had to wait inside the restaurant after he lied. (He also terribly underestimated how many minutes before my food would be ready when I initially made my order.)
Extremely disappointing experience. We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived, the staff had cancelled it without any notice. Instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, they were rude, dismissive, and made no effort to accommodate us. We were treated as if it was our fault. Completely unprofessional and unwelcoming. Definitely won’t be coming back.
I would give no stars but i can’t 1 star the second we walked in this guy was giving us dirty looks and we felt discriminated! then he said too busy “good bye see you later” in a smirkish tone and it wasn’t even busy! Very unprofessional! He was giving us dirty looks never going again!
Don’t go here. I am giving my full, honest review. Since 2023 I would go to this specific place to eat Thai food. Every time it would satisfy my cravings the best way. Until a few weeks ago. Usually we never gave him tips, since that was not apart of our culture. And one day my whole family went there, and we asked for the check. All of a sudden he yelled at us, asking for a tip..? I thought he was joking or something, but he was genuinely serious. That day we didn’t give him any tip, since he yelled at us. He called us “Americans”, like we were stupid. This was honestly just racist, and I will never go here again. (This was the owner of the place, btw). Never going here again. Don't get me wrong, the food is rlly good and flavorful, but it was just that comment that made me not go there again.
If I can give zero stars I would. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied. I walked into this establishment with my 3 daughters at 8:01pm on a Saturday night. I clearly saw quite a few empty tables. A gentleman whom I assume would be the owner, clearly told me “I’m very busy while waving his hands” in a way to tell me I cannot service you. I told him that we are 4 people and he said “I cannot, it’s very busy, see you next time”.. I left the place with a bad taste in my mouth.. I felt as if I was discriminated against since he saw a young mom with 2 minors, mind you my girls are 20, 14 and 11. Never again will I step foot in this establishment!!! My money is green just like the others. 👎 Disgusting, poor service.
