Lin's Asian Bistro is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The dim sum selection is fantastic, and the house special fried rice is a must-try. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes sure you have a great dining experience. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommend if you're looking for high-quality Asian cuisine.
Great experience! In town for a weekend and really enjoyed the food and decor. Staff was polite and prompt. I wish this restaurant was in my hometown!
Delicious authentic Chinese food made fresh. We ordered Seafood hotpot and Three Delicacies. (Those aren't on the regular menu.)
The food was good, the atmosphere comfortable, the service good, and the prices fair. It is interesting that nowhere outside is the name Lin’s. I re-checked the address number to insure I was at the correct place. I had one of the spicier items and it was a perfect hotness, it had life and lingered but was not obnoxiously hot.
Food was made to perfection. The sweet and sour chicken was fried to perfection. It was very flavorful. The chicken fried rice was buttery and delicious. The crab Rangoon was perfect. Highly recommended those good items.
We ordered the chicken satay appetizer with peanut sauce, FBI sushi roll, lo mein, sesame chicken, kung pao, beef & broccoli, Mongolian beef combination dinners that comes with a fried egg roll, lo mein, fried rice, choice of soup (hot & sour, wonton, egg drop or miso), shrimp & vegetable tempura and Tom Yum. You are given a generous portion of food here and is better than most Chinese food in the Fairbanks area. Thank you for staying open during Thanksgiving & Christmas Day. Buffet was great! Got to have a little bit of everything.
Snapped pictures after started ratting. Huge portions good prices General Tso’s meal was a huge portion and taste was amazing. Wonton soup was perfect, hot and sour soup was the perfect level of thick.Edamame was worth the 5$ Was brave and tried the strawberry chicken. It was surprisingly good, tasted like strawberry preserves. I added some pepper to fill the sweet a bit w, but was very impressed.
When I walk through this door I get happy and smiley, absolutely excellent fabulous food. Never heard one person say it was ok, this is excellent 👌
The food was very good. Like every one else they country they could use more help. The Hostess was trying to answer the phone get pickup orders and seat us
Service was good and fast. Food was ok. Pupu platter quality and quantity was a bit disappointing. Tofu with veggies was delicious. Pork chop strips could use a bit more taste.
This was my first time here and we had lunch. It was right when they opened up so it was not busy. We were greeted and seated right away. Calvin was our server. We ordered off of the lunch menu. There was a large selection to choose from which includes fried rice, soup and an appetizer. My husband had the orange chicken which wasn't at all spicy like it indicated and I had the lo mein chicken. Both meals were delicious and more than we could eat. Service was very good. Decor is what you would expect from an old restaurant. We are here only for the summer, but we will return. Next time we will share the meal.
The chicken teriyaki was very good but a bit too watery for my taste but would order again, the shrimp fried rice was really good highly recommend! However the BBQ pork for the portion size and the price i will not order again I do not recommend the pork was extremely dried and tasted old! Will be coming back here just not for the BBQ pork
Didn’t really have high expectations, but it was relatively decent! Ordered a Thai tea, crab rangoon, and house lo mein which comes with chicken, pork, and shrimp. My friends ordered shrimp pad Thai and Mongolian beef which they said were also good. If you are okay with mediocre service but want big portions, I’d say try this place out. It seems like it may be a hit or miss so just be mindful. I guess I went on a day when it was a hit because I definitely was skeptical when I first arrived to the restaurant…
Second time here and decided to step out of my comfort zone and get the Teriyaki Chicken Bento. It comes with a California Roll, Salad, Teriyaki chicken on a bed of broccoli, shrimp, and a pot-sticker. I am not a fan of shrimp BUT these were fantastic and I enjoyed them. Last time, I got Mongolian Beef and it was fantastic, as well! Would give 5 stars if service was a little more caring (no check backs after food was brought to table).
For the price you get a decent amount of food and the service was absolutely fantastic
My family and me had lunch and dinner here . We came before their open time and they serviced us. I am appreciate there is a nice Chinese restaurant here
BBQ pork was incredibly dry (like had to throw it away, dry). Beef on a stick was a bit too chewy. The egg rolls, general Tso chicken, and fried rice were decent. Ordered to-go and the staff was pleasant at pick up.
The dinner combo offers good value, but the food was rather average. It's somewhat comparable to a local version of Panda Express, though not quite as good. They also offer a variety of other cuisines. Overall, my experience was mediocre, and it's unlikely that I would visit again if I had the chance.
Horrible customer service! I ordered spring rolls with pork, they brought me the spring rolls without any pork, when I asked the waiter she said there were small. I cut the spring roll and showed her and she just walked away. Food is not worthy, bad customer service, dirty dishes.
Very disappointing. I liked up "best Chinese restaurants" as i was told the Asian food here was here was good. It was not. I ordered the meal with sesame chicken. Most of the chicken was brown and dry. There were a couple of fresh, white chicken pieces that were good. Most were not though. 🤢 The rice and noodles had no flavor and tasted as if they were warmed up. The wonton soup was good though. If you like fresh Chinese...I would not recommend this place. If you are ok with warmed up, dried out food... you might like it. Maybe during a busy time it would be better. I came early dinner.
Hey! does anybody know how to talk to the managers or owners of lin's Asian bistro? I want to talk about this "if you don't tip me you won't be served again" lady that had a problem with me leaving not tipping today and she told me "you have to tip me" and made it sound ldk what tipping is and she made it required and a must then she went asking me if I'm from here or not. It's sad cause I go regularly there and I always liked it, I didn't know it became a policy to either tip or you don't get your food again. I want to make sure that it's accepted by the managers, please (The numbers there are probably managed by the workers, and I don't want to talk to her again about that). Thank you.
You think this place is racist, has bad services and even service bad food as some reviews say. The discrepancy of this place is, first they asked if we were Chinese and we said yes! I can't lie that we are. Then we sat down and they gave us a one page menu. Since we were hungry we order, we just ordered what ever is on the menu that was given. Food was ok for Chinese, bland, smaller portions then other reviews. When we were almost finished, more customers came in and were clear not Chinese and they were given a different menu. When we asked why did we not get that menu. Their excuse is, it is not to Chinese taste buds, those are more American flavor tastes buds. It would be nice to have the option to choose also our dishes were smaller and price was different. The other customers dishes had more plus dinner combinations which comes with rice, soup and another side dish. The bigger menu had drinks it would be nice to order drinks for my 3 year old. It would have been nice if they did not lie to us about the menu. It felt a little discriminatory to your own kind. You make the decision. Eat at your own cost, here is both menus.
