When you walk in you'll 1st notice the wall/shelves of bottles. Super cool place. We sat by the bar and received great service. Food was delicious especially the sweet potato froes, burger, and nachos.

Whether you sit at the bar, or grab a table this is a great spot for an intimate date night. The grandiose display of bottles behind the bar gives an elegant touch. Smokehouse burger was delicious and well cooked.

September 21st. We had my daughter’s baby shower at the Library Cafe. Everyone and everything was perfect. Our guests complimented the food and space continuously! We look forward to having another event here soon.

I swear L.I has some spots. This was a bank, that turned into a library, that's now a bar. It's definitely a welcoming vibe as soon as you step in. Keeping up with the theme they have drinks based on authors. Both drinks was fantastic! My bartender was awesome. He took time to explain and offer great suggestions.

Tried this spot after seeing the reviews & it didn’t disappoint! Our waitress Annie was professional, fun & made great suggestions on what to drink & eat. We have the mini-Reuben’s & empanadas for appetizers! I had the marinated steak sandwich which was delicious. My friends had the buttermilk fried chicken combo & the drinks were awesome. We had their signature drinks which didn’t disappoint. We tried the yellow brick road, the patron pineapple margarita, the notebook & medieval romance! All excellent! I will definitely be back even if it’s just for dessert!

We hosted a bridal shower yesterday at the Library Cafe in Farmingdale for my daughter. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The staff were friendly and professional and the food was great. The restaurant which has its own unique fun vibe allows you to add your own decor etc to make the experience more personal. Everyone had a great time! Thank you Melissa & Kate & Hannah. 💕

We recently had our daughter’s communion party at the Library and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were amazing they set everything up for me, were very accommodating and friendly. They didn’t rush us to finish up, and helped us through some hick ups of the day. The food was great, everyone enjoyed.

Great food, excellent cocktails, amazing atmosphere. Visually an amazing place with great service. Definitely Instagram worthy 😅. Chili was good, but those Brussel sprouts were an absolute killer!

The food here is fantastic, and they seriously have the best waffle fries you’ll ever try. Our server was such a sweetheart, but it did feel like an off night. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes for our meals, and one dish came out completely different than expected. The server admitted she made changes (for example no sauce, sweet potato fries instead of regular) but wasn’t sure why. That being said, I’ve been here before and had much better experiences, so I know the service isn’t usually like this. I’d definitely give them another try since the food is good, but I’m in no rush.

Food was amazing !!! Had the bourbon and honey glazed salmon 💯… and the fish tacos was great too.. Drinks was a 6.7 out of 10….(Update) empanadas are Chefs kiss 💋 and once again that salmon 💯

I've been eating here for years and today I was disappointed! I ordered from door dash and I feel like they half assed the order because it was a delivery. If I ate there, I KNOW my portion would have been acceptable. Instead, my $32.00 steak sandwich was laughable. It was like a child's portion with a measley 8 small pieces of cauliflower for the side. One half of the sandwich only had 3 chunks of meat. It comes with cheddar and mozzarella but i didn't get the cheddar because why mix that with mozzarella? Anyway... they didn't bother giving me extra mozzarella in place of the cheddar. It was just not enough food and I'm a teeny tiny person. I wouldn't normally care, but I love this place! I don't want to stop coming here, but you shouldnt half-ass orders just because its a door dash order. I really didn't want to have to now order MORE food after having spent over 30 bucks on a very soggy and tiny sandwich...

Went here with my girlfriends for dinner. The setting is pretty and has a cozy vibe, which is great for a relaxed catch-up. The food was good overall, but a little inconsistent - some dishes were delicious while others felt a bit average. Service was friendly, though it wasn’t super quick. I’d still recommend it if you want a nice atmosphere for conversation, but I’d say it’s more about the setting than the food being amazing.
