Food was great but when we first got there, we were ignored since no one knew who was waiting on that table. People that sat after us were getting waited on before us. Once that was figured out, it was great! Amazing food, will definitely go back :) cheers!

I went to Trattoria Locanda to celebrate my birthday. It was a splendid night. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make the night special for myself and my guests. I have never received such personalized attention from any other restaurant and it felt great since this was my first visit to the restaurant and the area. The food was great and so is the service. I would definitely go back whenever I am in or near Fishkill again. 10/10 recommend.

My husband and I dined here on Monday night on our way up to West Point. We arrived close to 9:00 when most other restaurants on Main St were closing. Despite the late hour for a Monday they didn't hesitate to seat us. The owners are a wife and husband and the wife was our server. She could not have been sweeter. We ended up talking about family, raising sons and it made being there feel like we were regulars. The bartender, a friend of the owners, was also terrific. Just great energy all around. My husband and I shared the crispy calamari and broccoli rabe with sweet sausage. Both were delicious. I had the eggplant rollantini and my husband had the bolognese. Both dishes were fantastic and the gravy was perfect! Next time we are in the area we will definitely come here again.

We love this place!!! Best steak we ever had is their rib eye special with peppercorn sauce. It is amazing!!! as is their broccoli (best I’ve had) and potatoes, pizzas, the bread and oil, chicken parm are all amazing!! Met friends for dinner at this restaurant, while visiting Fishkill. This place is an absolute gem. We loved it so much we came back for dinner the following night. Our favorite restaurant in Fishkill! The environment is cozy and the food is amazing. My favorite dish is the Locanda Special. I order it every time and it is always excellent! Service is on the slower side, but we never mind - gives you the opportunity to relax, enjoy each other's company and eat a great dinner.

Went for a glass of wine and an appetizer which was superb!! Had their portabella mushroom appetizer special - topped with spinach and artichoke heart and had a garlic, wine, feta cheese sauce... Deeelish!!! The bartender was cool and the ambience was on point. Christmas decorations and lights made the place feel cozy, warm and inviting. Will definitely be returning. Glad it's one of my locals :) 🍷🍷

Nothing short of fantastic!! We wanted to have dinner pretty quick before a show at The Paramount Theatre, which is a little ways away. The entire staff was fantastic and accommodating, however our waitress Ashley gets monster kudos...quick, friendly, awesome! She is absolutely the best. It’s a crime that we ate as quickly as we did. But most importantly, the food! OMG!! The boys in the kitchen will hook you up. You must stop here. Thank you so much!!😊

The cocktails were so good! Loved that they gave garlic knots for bread (some of the best I've had). We ordered bruschetta which was super tasty, you could tell the balsamic was quality. The chicken dishes we ordered were tasty. We split a tiramisu for dessert and I wish they gave us a bigger slice it was so good

Very good meal. Shrimp parmigiana to die for. Excellent sauces. Excellent fresh & hot garlic bread. Very attentive wait service, got a little shaky as the restaurant filled up but caught back up at the end. Charming locale. This is becoming our go-to spot. The food is great and consistent (I love their chicken parmesan). Very friendly owner and staff who make you feel so welcome. And best of all, the very best price points on very good wine that you will find anywhere nearby.

The establishment was beautiful, service was excellent, but the food wasn’t to my liking. The taste was great but the amount of sauce they use was outrageous. It was like a soupy chicken Parmesan. Other dinners at the table were very similar in soupy consistency. But to each their own.

This place is a small, NYC style restaurant with brick walls and small bar. The place was packed as always, reservations highly recommended. The owner, wife and two sons do an amazing job, food and service is is fantastic, with the owner walking the restaurant checking in on all tables. This is my go to place if I want a great meal, and great service. I highly recommend you get reservations, or you will have to wait for a late table.

Absolutely amazing meals - pre-dinner Caesar salads set a high bar, the Locanda Special and the Chicken Sorrentino entrees were both incredibly delicious, and my 85-y/o mother said her cannoli was the best she'd ever had. Combined with very friendly and attentive service, this was one of the best restaurant dinners I've ever experienced.

Have eaten here before. Food is always good. Our drinks didn't come for a long time and I noticed the couple next to us not drinking their drinks because they were actually mine and my wife's. They straightened that out when we mentioned it. Parking is tight in that Main street area. Dessert was excellent. Atmosphere is nice. Will Def be going back.

My family and I where in Fishkill/Beacon for the weekend. Decided to go to Trattoria Locanda for dinner. All the reviews where positive so we went. The bartender John greeted us and we had a reservation so they seated us fast. The waitress was very professional, and she took out drink order , appetizer order and then the main course. The wines are very good, the appetizer was out of this world, and the baked clams, our main course dishes were very, very good and delicious , the Owner and Staff make you feel like a part of their restaurant family We will be back. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years now. The family is amazing that owns it. The service is exceptional and the food is five star. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Short version: Excellent food, well mixed cocktails, friendly and incredible service, and beautiful ambience. My friends and I were looking for a new place to try in town, but wanted to go somewhere "nice". I briefly looked up the menu and at a glance it looked great so we decided to go. The dining area is very cozy, but not cramped with a full bar in the same room. Dim lighting I find to be annoying, but at Trattoria Locanda it is tasteful and not dim enough you have trouble reading the menu, for example. I ordered the Locanda Special which was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was perfect. I did not try my friends dishes, but they got Gnocchi Vegetariano, and the Stuffed Filet of Sole and they both loved their dishes. Will absolutely be returning in the future with friends, or a date (perfect setting for that also!)

I really enjoyed the food here even though my side salad only had one crouton...lol I love croutons! Not sure if its just an odd coincidence but be careful with your table because as a previous reviewer mentioned our table was very wobbly. The food took sometime to come out but once it did, it was well worth the wait! Everything was seasoned to perfection and the portions were more than generous. Party of 4 for Dinner. We drove over 2 hours away to see what all the hype was about. Needless to say our experience was worth the drive and then some. Rustic inviting and warm ambiance with beautiful brick walls. We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated. Water and fresh garlic bread with most delicious vegetable olive oil come out automatically. Menu was extensive with a wide variety of southern Italian goodness which made it so hard to choose. We started with the crab cakes (amazing), fried calamari (fresh perfect crunch on the outside, not chewy or greasy), the bruschetta was to die for- all fresh ingredients. Next, out comes a mixed green salad with house balsamic vinaigrette. For drinks - we had the Moscow mule and lemon drop martinis which did not disappoint! For dinner we had the Lobster Ravioli in Light cream vodka sauce- My husband was blown away. He’s a foodie and says this was by far the best vodka sauce he’s ever tasted. I had the shrimp parmigiana with angel hair pasta. Sauce was amazing, pasta was perfectly cooked as well as the shrimp. Our friends had the spaghetti alfredo with chicken and shrimp. They both were in awe. Waitress was super sweet, attentive and brought out everything quickly. The chef even came out to check on us to make sure everything was good! Lastly, we had the Tiramisu, cannolis and cheesecake. Bottom line, come here asap. Staff is everything, great eats with generous portions and fairly priced. Only downside was that at the end of the day, the day had to end. Also, we were so fascinated by the good eats and atmosphere that we didn’t even take photos or look at our phones for that matter. Instead, we lived in the moment and enjoyed it all in real time. Highly recommended.

Me and mom celebrated my birthday on Friday night. It was packed but we still got seated quickly and waited on just as fast. We had the niece of the owner as our waitress and she was amazing. But none of the other waitresses hesitated to help us when we needed. The food was some of the best ever and I'm trying to find a reason just to go back. Highly recommended.

Very nice atmosphere, great food and reasonable prices. I was surprised to see a crabcakes appetizer on the Italian themed menu but they were delicious! The fresh mozzarella appetizer was also as good as we had expected. My chicken parmigiana was excellent and also came with a Caesar salad and side of pasta. You will not leave there hungry and the prices will not break the bank. For those looking for cocktails or other drinks there is also a bar available. A very nice dining experience and I will definitely be returning.

I had a large group of 21 people for restaurant week. I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. They confirmed my reservation and were flexible when 3 people canceled 15 min before dinner. They made the bill paying easy by giving each table a bill. The food was good and the servers were attentive.

Stopped @ my favorite restaurant for comfort food. They never let me down. Lobster Ravioli was great to the last morsel. My gosh such a treat!!! Plus the dining room was full. Love it. This family deserves every success.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was impeccable! The clams were flavorful. My husband has the chicken piccata and he enjoyed it. I had the chicken francese and it was the best chicken francese I EVER HAD and I’ve had many. We finished with the house made tiramisu and that was delicious as well. Lastly, the service was excellent and our server Kate was super attentive. This is our new date night spot. 10/10 recommend.

Cheese ravioli: cheesy pillows of deliciousness. Salads: crisp enough to slap you awake. Pumpkin cheesecake: Could end wars if it wanted to… OBSESSED. We live across the river, but decided to check out this place for our love of Italian cuisine.. and now we can’t believe we’ve missed out on coming here for the past 19 years! Perfect atmosphere for us… low light, Italian music, beautiful old brick building. Our waitress Kate was so attentive and sweet. And the food.. holy smokes- Everything was incredible and we ate a lot! The fresh rolls with the zucchini olive oil dipping sauce- Fried calamari- pasta fagioli, salad. Zuppa di Pesce and Chicken Sorrentino. every bite delicious- and then the lava cake!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Two for two with this restaurant. My girlfriend and I are from out of state and loved this restaurant so much the first time that we just had to go back! The service is fantastic, atmosphere is quite nice, and the food is perfect everytime. I sat there tonight, looking at my finished plate and thought to myself, "what about this would I have changed" the answer is freaking nothing. The food comes out perfect and exactly how it should be. I cannot find a single reason to complain about my experience tonight so if you want something guaranteed to satisfy an outing than this is the place. Alcohol is strong too!

Beautiful little spot for delicious Italian food. We went on a Thursday night and it was understandably quiet which worked out well for us as we didn't have a reservation. I hear the weekends get very busy. The food was very flavorful and cooked well. The seasonings were on point, not too salty, or strongly flavored, just right. Bread served before dinner was delicious and it came with an authentic sun dried tomato in olive oil accoutrement. Wow, loved that. Tasted like the stuff my family puts out at holidays and gatherings. Salad was perfectly dressed in a light Caesar dressing that was so tasty. We had some pasta dishes and a chicken dish and everything was perfection. Mashed potatoes were my fav, just right in flavor and texture. Our server was super sweet, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like we were having dinner at a family members house. This place is an authentic Italian comfort food gem. We found our new favorite spot. :)

We were out of town from MD to visit family in NY. Found this gem when looking for restaurants near our hotel. Main St Fishkill was decorated so pretty for the season as was the restaurant. Service was wonderful and meals delicious. Pricing and portion size gracious as well. Wish near our home because so many menu choices and daily specials. We enjoyed calarmari, bruchetta, came with fresh bread, a lg side salad, side pasta, veal franchese and zuppa seafood were main entrees and finished with tiramisu.🎄❣

Verdict: Delicious southern Italian restaurant with generous portions, very professional wait staff in a beautiful atmosphere. Absolutely deserving of 5 star rating. Well worth your time and money. Details below. The food here is delicious. All of us ordered some sort of chicken dish; Picatta, Francais, and Sorrentino. I had the latter. It was in a delicious sauce, tender chicken, delicious eggplant, and prosciutto. The portions are large so we all had meals for two nights. They start you out with, I'm assuming, homemade bread. It's rolled with herbs and spices. I could make a meal out of just that with olive oil! It is served with fresh butter. Next is the salad. This was the 'low part' of the meal. The lettuce was all the same with very light green and crunchy leaves. I prefer more variety among lettuces and vegetables. Their house balsamic dressing was fine, but nothing special. As I said above all the entrees were excellent and all were served with pasta and salad. We also ordered two sides of broccoli rabe and spinach. I'm a huge fan of broccoli rabe and this was perhaps the best I've had anywhere. For dessert we had chocolate lava cake and lemon sorbet. I had the lemon sorbet. I prefer a much more lemony flavor than this sorbet had. The report on the chocolate lava cake was that it was fine but nothing special. The atmosphere is high end, but cozy. Very nice brick walls lined with bottles of wine. White tablecloths. Quiet and comfortable. This wouldn't be complete without a shout out to the wait staff. All very professional, well dressed and polite.

Came here on a Friday with no reservations and sat outside, which was fine because it was nice outside. The only issue was that it was threatening to rain at anytime. The owner /manager assured us not to worry about anything and just enjoy ourselves. We felt instantly relaxed. About 20 minutes into our evening there outside it started to rain. They came outside with us immediately and helped us take everything inside. They found a small table for us and set us up. It was perfect! The inside ambience was so cozy with the bricks, the wine, and the soft lighting. Some people here on Google complained about the noise, but we kind of liked it. It added to feel and vibe of the place. During our meals, which were amazing by the way, the owner /manager stopped by multiple times to see if everything was OK which impressed us. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and happy. When we got up to leave the owner/manager saw us from the back of the restaurant and made his way up to us to formally say goodbye. Now that's how you run a restaurant!!!! Thanks, we will be back often....

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection. Great menu variety. Steak was a large portion w/creamy mashed potatoes and a red wine reduction sauce. The stuffed fillet of sole with plenty of crab and shrimp stuffing swimming in a delicious sauce. Cheesecake with hazelnut ice cream was delicious. Both Kathy and Kate were attentive and we did not want for anything. I highly recommend this place. There seem to be a lot of restaurants in fishkill and surrounding area that are Italian but this one surpasses all of them by far. We will be going back when in the area again.

Overall I enjoyed my visit and dinner. My main course seemed to be missing a vehicle to enjoy the sauce, which I wanted to sop up as much as possible. Rice? Pasta? Their serving of broccoli was generous.

The setting is beautiful, building is very nice, and the Christmas decorations added a very nice touch to the meal. The meal started with garlic bread being served, which was very good. I had a salad with parmesan peppercorn dressing, and the chicken marsala. It was great! I found myself searching through the wine sauce for every last piece of chicken and mushroom. Overall great experience.

Awesome bartender (Mike?) while we waited. It was a good 45 minutes, but that's what we get for just showing up at 7:30pm on a Saturday. Great ambiance. A little loud, i.e. Not the easiest place to hold a conversation. But the food is fantastic and the servers are very friendly and helpful. Enjoy the leftovers - BIG servings here. Get an espresso martini with no milk. Really good!

Atmosphere is very warm and cozy, my food was very good though my husband had ordered Chicken Marsala, he said it was bland, tasteless. The waiter was attentive and the overall experience was a good one. One thing the other reviews mention is the lack of smiles on the faces of the staff. Sounds strange I know, but the only person I saw smiling enjoying what she was doing was the bartender, everyone else looked like they'd rather be someplace else.

Had lunch with a guest today: spinach and eggdrop soup with grated cheese, meatball sub, and salad with grilled chicken, sliced apples, pine nuts, Romaine lettuce, with honey Dijon mustard dressing. The restaurant is very nice inside, linen tablecloths on the tables, exposed brick walls, lots of wine bottles arranged on wooden wall shelves, about 20 tables. Pleasing environment, clean, Frank Sinatra music playing softly. Friendly service, attentive waitress. The bowl of soup arrived very hot, soft spinach with egg in a hearty chicken broth. The meatball sub was very good: delicious soft, tasty meatballs served on heated sub roll, lots of melted mozzarella cheese and a sweet tomato sauce! The grilled chicken salad had a generous bowl of Romaine lettuce with grilled chicken, pine nuts, sliced apple sticks. If you like a strong tasting Dijon on the honey Dijon mustard dressing, you'll really like this salad. We ordered a cheeseburger and dries to go and it was fantastic! Crispy fries and melted mozzarella cheese on a cooked to order burger. Only $48 for the entire lunch. Recommended!

Atmosphere is spot on. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I have been searching for a new favorite place for Italian food since moving back to the area. The food was good; one of the best in my search so far. I have to say the prices were more than I am accustomed to. Service seemed a little slow; waiting for water to be filled, salad to come, etc. Perhaps that's part of the relaxed atmosphere they are trying to create.

My wife and I enjoy our visits to this establishment on our way to/from New Hampshire to Pittsburg. We have read some of the lessor reviews and feel some don’t tell the complete story. In our opinion, the food is better than average 6.5-7 out of 10. We are delighted to dine here as we are “passing through”. The restaurant has a nice cozy feeling; with white linen tablecloths and the decor is warm and inviting. The employees have a genuine interest to provide a positive dining experience and that is what we expect from small business ownership. Thank you, Kathy! Some of the prior reviews state “the service is slow”. I agree that the turnaround from placing/receiving your order is not immediate. So, if you are in a hurry then maybe this is not your place. But if you are with good company, having a nice wine or cocktail, then relax and enjoy the moment. This is what my wife and I do time after time even with 40 years of marriage, A nice place to have an enjoyable meal with family and friends.

The food was delicious, the service was awful even though she was very nice. I made a reservation for 11 people, the put the table right next to the walkway for the kitchen so that the staff had to turn sideways to get through, not fair to the staff or my guests. The waitress took half the tables drink orders, brought the drinks out 2 at a time, water too, and forgot to get the rest of the tables drink orders. Then we waited an hour and 15 minutes for first course. The clams casino my husband ordered came out clams oreganato, we finally got her to come over and she took the plate. Came back several moments later and put the SAME plate down and said she ordered the wrong thing. Turned around and walked away. Ice cold clams. It goes on from there. Too bad because the food was fresh and delicious. The gave my daughter a bottle of wine for her 21st birthday which was also very nice, hence the 3 stars instead of 2!

Went with my girlfriend, food was amazing, staff was overall nice, but the waitress assigned to us was horrible. She forgot to bring my drink out and we had to remind her when she brought out our appetizer. She never asked us if we wanted refills (but a different waiter did). And that same other waiter also brought us our food and took our plates when we finished. My girlfriend and I waited about 15-20 mins before asking a manager when we were getting our check. He asked us who our waitress was but we couldn't even tell him as we hadn't even seen her since she brought out the appetizer. Spent more time there waiting for the waitress than eating/ enjoying the dinner with my girlfriend.

The veal parmigiana was basically ground veal with a ton of breading - not recommended. The veal Marsalis was better = good. And the grouper was good. Need better beer choices. Great atmosphere and friendly service.

Good service, but food was mediocre at best. Shrimp Francese was so beyond bland. Pasta is over cooked. Zuppa di pesce was like a pool of canned tomato sauce, but the seafood was generous and good. It’s just very basic. You can definitely cook better Italian food home. This place is just nice because it’s dark and intimate. Great for a Saturday night.

First time visiting and our food was fantastic. Unfortunately our server was a little rude. Other than that it was a positive overall experience.

The food was good. The service was terrible! We sat for over an hour until we received our salads. We never received our appetizer which the waitress appoligized for and comped us desert and coffee which was nice. I asked for my leftovers to be wrapped up and never received it. Other customers were complaining about the time it took to get the food out. The whole dinner took over 2 1/2 hours for a salad, entree, and dessert minus the missing appetizer. The restaurant is nice and the food was good but the service needs work. We will give it another chance on a slower night to see if this is the normal operations.

Nice location, beautiful atmosphere, great service, what could go wrong? The food! We stopped in near end of a long road trip for dinner. It’s really quite nice inside. Our meal however was sub par. Salad just didn’t do it. The eggplant parmesan was so tough I had to use a knife to cut it. Pasta was adequate but it tasted like canned sauce. Good dinner rolls with garlic and the house red wine was ok also. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing? Probably not. Tragic.

Food was fair. Sauce and veal was very good. Chicken was dry. Egg plant was not made very well.Ceasar salad was not good. The waiter never brought salad that we ask to have wrapped to take home. Service was horrible.It took such a long time to get food. The had a large party of people there. They obviously could not handle that plus the other tables However, it even took a long time for drinks. Bar tender was not busy. Drinks were made well. It was also extremely loud.

I gave this restaurant a try because of the good reviews. I was very disappointed!! The table had a horrible wobble to start if you put your elbows on the table the drinks would slide. The waitress was horrible my plates were stacked before they were cleared , I had to ask for drink refills. There was only two other tables in the restaurant. We ordered the zupa depeche, fried calamari, and second pasta dish. Everything was bland and without flavor. I will not be giving this restaurant another try!!!!

Made reservations for my birthday tonight. No space at the bar. They were 1 hour late for our reservations and offered no compensation at all. Very disappointed. Will not be back.

Great atmosphere and attentive waiters. BUT: Half of the mussels weren’t open. Veal parm was smothered in canned, bitter tomato sauce like a low-end pizza place would do, not a restaurant. Could only taste the tomato sauce, not the Veal. Ordered another glass of wine before the dinner arrived - the wine arrived after the plates were cleared. My wife enjoyed her soup and gnnochi. That’s why there are 2 STARS INSTEAD OF 1.

We went for an early dinner around 3:00 p.m. because we assumed we would be eating around 4: 00. By the time we received our dinner, it was around 4:00 p.m. Also we had already finished our appetizers. But we were waiting for our salads, and instead the food came out. We asked about the salads and they said that they don't serve salad for lunch. I would not call 4:00 lunch time, especially considering that we ordered from the dinner menu and were still forced to pay dinner prices. But they called it lunch. The food was good, so I shut my mouth, but we were waiting on my wife's pasta for such a long time and the rest of the food started to get cold. Once they brought the pasta out, they brought the wrong pasta, so we had to wait longer for them to get the pasta order correct. Finally two other couples showed up, and the couples were told that the staff was on their lunch break (at 4:15pm) so they weren't getting served. So we witnessed this restaurant lose 4 customers because they could not be bothered to have one person on duty while others were on break. This is how other restaurant to do it. Nobody all takes the same break at the same time. However, considering that we paid $107 for "lunch" at 4:00 p.m. and they could not even give us salad when we were paying the prices on the dinner menu, I will not be going back. And the icing on the cake was them turning away paying customers because they were all taking a break at the same time. You never turn customers away. Ever. The dine-in experience is not just about the food. It's about the whole experience. Only one part of that experience was enjoyable, and that was the food. If you go there, make sure you go after 5:00 pm.

Had a 645 reservation, we were asked to have a drink at the bar while our table got ready. We watched as the table was set, and finally asked if we should sit since no one came to get us. We waited another 15 minutes before the waiter came and we had to ask if there were any specials as she didn’t offer them. We got our salad at 8pm. Table next to us sat at the same time but were clearly friends of the owner, who sat with them the entire time enjoying their meal . Had to pick up our kid at 9 so didn’t have time for dessert. Will spend our anniversary elsewhere next time.

My first and only experience was so horrible I feel like someone was recording me on a prank show. I placed an order for ravioli parm, and chicken piccata at 8pm, the gentleman who took my order who was very short and rude as if I was annoying him by calling said our order would be ready in 25 min. At 9:03 and they were still making the food, restaurant was empty. We left with the food at 9:21. No apologies or offer of a discount. Got home, containers were not sealed properly, the Raviolo parm and chicken contents were completely spilled inside the bad which then leaked onto the carpets in my car. I get inside and try to salvage what I could which was 2 salads, sautéed broccoli and a side pasta. Then to top this whole thing off there was a HAIR in my salad! I'm still in utter disbelief. I've never had such a horrible experience and this was only a takeout order on a Wednesday!

Not a great experience !!! One of the worst dinning experiences I’ve had anywhere in along time. From the moment we sat down the experience slowly got worse. We had to ask for menus after waiting for 5-10 min’s. When the server finally came to take our order he left the table before everyone had placed their orders. We had to go track him down to get the final order in. From that moment it took over an hour to get our salads, and when they finally came tasted bland. We had someone in our party that was a Vegan, and when she received her entrée it was not what she ordered, and it had meat in it. When we explained to our server that that is not what she had ordered he told us “the meat was mostly on top and maybe we could just pick it off” and made no attempt to correct the mistake. Of course she didn’t eat the meal and in the end we were charged for it. The server never came to ask about drink refills, which were all frequently empty. The server never said a word about the extended wait time for our salads, or meals, or anything. He did not make eye contact and frequently passed our table all night without a word. We had to get his attention all night to get him to stop at our table for anything, including the check. From the time we sat down to the time we left it was over 3 hours. We had someone celebrating a Birthday in our party, and two kids that managed to remain calm during the excessive wait for their meals. We had a reservation, and the restaurant was not busy or full the night we went. Extremely disappointed and will never return, or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was over priced for its quality, nothing special, 6/10 food for 10/10 prices. Service was fine from the waitress but food took incredibly long to be served. We were there for 2 hours before receiving our main dishes. There’s an unmarked $10 plate splitting fee. The dish didn’t even come split onto two plates despite the charge. The atmosphere was decent but the dining room was very loud. The place seems to be poorly managed. Would not recommend this restaurant in the slightest. Very much not worth the money.

The food and service was outstanding. However, there was a table with young children and both children had tablets and noise from the tablets was loud. The waiter said there was nothing he could do about it. We spent quite a bit of money in a nice restaurant to be disturbed by children’s computer games. Parents should learn to engage and talk to their children. We never brought electronic devices to keep our children occupied at restaurant; we talked to them

We waited over an hour for our food, the wait staff kept walking by us nobody would come and give us an update. We only ordered penne with vodka sauce and a plain chicken parm. Half the wait staff was hanging out at the bar. I was thoroughly disappointed.

Went to dinner on July 20,2019 with family. Had reservations for 7pm. Did not get seated til 745. Sat at the bar and ran up a $60 tab. When we were seated, our waiter seemed to not know anything about a coupon we had from the local CLIPPER flyer. Finally ordered and the appetizer came. We then had to wait almost 45 minutes for our salads to come. Finally got the attention of what I perceived to be the owner. Told him it was unacceptable for that long of a wait for just salads. He said it was very busy, but I told him that was not an excuse. We observed our waiter running all over the restaurant serving tables- he should have just been assigned tables in his area. There were three other waitresses to handle the rest of the tables. The owner did not apologize and almost became offended at our problem Salads came and the lettuce was WARM- probably sitting out for the 45 minutes. Food came and my daughter in law ordered Fettuccine with chicken- came out with no chicken. Told our waiter and he brought out a plate of chicken that was cold for her to put in her pasta. Poorly run to say the least. Okay-the restaurant was busy but that is no excuse. What was this-your first day open??? If you go, be sure to keep on top of your server. Good Luck.

My husband and I just left with our 3 year old daughter. The food tastes great, but it's not kid friendly after making reservations and saying we had a 3 year old. No child menu, nothing on the menu under $22. Not even a plastic cup, take out cup, all glass. My daughter spilled her water on the floor when we first sat down because they only had wine glasses for her and I asked two different people if they could help me clean it up. The lady didn't come back and the guy just said he'll get it later, so my daughter and I were stepping in a puddle of water the entire time till it dried up on its own. We sat for 10 minutes waiting on a waiter to take drink orders, had to ask for our own refills, salads were a 40 minute wait, plates were about another 20 minutes, and they didn't clean up any dirty dishes till we were leaving. Once plates were served we felt rushed to leave by the waiters. The waiters and waitresses seemed very confused about everything, like even asking for a child proof cup or where the bathroom is. Prices were hiked up from the usual average $13-18 plates on the menu to mostly $26-$29 a plate because of the Mother's Day "specials" which their usual menu was not even available. Totally not what was expected and wouldn't go there again. I understand it's Mother's Day and busy but that's not right.

Terrible experience. Waited 3 hours for food. Grilled salmon was dry—maybe 4/10. Beans weren’t even cooked properly.

I've eaten here before but last night the food was not good. Clams oregano was horrible. I had orrcetta with broccoli rabe and sausage had no taste at all..where's the garlic... my sister the Chilean Sea bass excellent - it was a special. My other sister had mussels. They were okay.... The bread served at the table is not good very doughy.. won't be back!

We had New Years 2024 dinner at this restaurant and it was the worst experience of our life. We had 6pm reservations and had to stand outside in the cold for 20 min only to be informed that our table wasn't ready and to sit at the bar with two babies until the party before us leisurely paid their bill with absolutely no rush. Another 20 mins go by and we finally get our table right by the entrance door and are ignored for for another 20 mins and didn't even get water for the table. We had to go ask the bartender for water for the babies. Our salads arrived at 7:30pm whether we wanted ceasar salad or not, that's what we got. Thank God the waiter brought the babies meal first and they didnt have to wait 2 hrs for their food too. At ten to 8pm we finally got our food but the 8pm crowd showed up and piled in and started to push against our table and left the door open on a cold night so our food got cold very quickly. No one in the place said anything and allowed these people to disturb the other diners. But the absolute kicker, we were barely done eating and the manager came to us and told is that if we wanted desert we would have to take it to go because the 8pm people were waiting. Offered to give us free deserts to go and a cheap bottle of wine after we complained of the outrageous treatment of our party of 8. As if that would made the whole awful ordeal better. The deserts were terrible and the way we were treated was even worse. Needless to say we will never return to this place or recommend this terrible place to anyone.

We had a terrible dining experience here. The chicken was old tasting and tough, the clams casino were full of bread & tasted canned, and the service was unacceptably slow. We had to flag our waitress down 5 times to check where our food was & finally resorted to this manager type guy to find our order. Our waitress acted as if she couldn't care less about us the entire time. We didn't either bother with dessert, at that point we were done with this place. Had a great meal quite a while ago, but unfortunately this place has gone downhill.

I ordered the Bass special last night it was old, dry and tasteless, covered up with a delicious sauce, $48 dollars wasted. The only reason I didn’t return it was because I was with friends and I didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. If I was alone I would have returned it and ask for my money back and would have left, that’s how bad it was. I don’t mind spending the money if it was good, but this was horrible. That’s what people need to start doing, RETURN BAD FOOD we work for our money. Restaurants need to do the same. I would never eat here again.

While the food was very good the experience was unbelievably bad. My family and I went there because it looked promising. It took 15 minutes just to get a menu ( because we had to ask) then waited an hour. Finally we asked about the status of our food and they said the salads would be coming shortly… we asked to skip the salads because we needed to get out of there and finally got our meals after 1.5 hours. They never brought out our pasta and my wife had to leave with our child and got hers to go (they didn’t include utensils). While the food was good, I’d never go back. They comped our bottle of wine but this was unacceptable.

I really had a bad experience at the restaurant. We had pre reserved a table for a birthday party. They took around an hour for us to be seated even though we had reserved the table in advance. I showed up to the restaurant at 7 pm, my food showed up to the table at 9.50 pm. It did not even taste good and I had lost my appetite waiting. Overall would never recommend and I am not coming back. Not sure how a small table experience would be.
