Great food great atmosphere great service one of the best pho. I’ve tried in New York City so far not expensive definitely recommend.
Was here on a work trip... Walkable from the hotel, so I gave it a shot. This was some of the BEST pho I've had. They accommodated my special request for Tai Bo Vien Pho, and the service was excellent. Don't sleep on the Shrimp Summer Rolls either! 5 stars and worth it!
Been here a couple of times and the food and service is always on point. One of the best pho spots in NYC. I usually get the Pho Dac Biet or the Beef Brisket pho, and the wings/spring rolls are also really good! Would recommend coming with friends or family for a good Vietnamese meal
I’ve been a regular here since they opened years ago and I must say, the food is consistent each and every time. There has never been an “off day” and they consistently meet the mark each and every time. The food is delicious and always met with a smile. The staff is welcoming, inviting and very friendly to their customers. You will feel right at home. Thank you, Pho Metro, for wonderful food and ambiance!
I stumbled upon this restaurant after getting home from a flight and needing something to eat, and I’m so glad I did. The pho here is absolutely delicious and easily one of my favorites around. Ever since, I’ve made it a habit to stop by whenever I’m picking up family from the airport or coming home myself. The shrimp rolls are also excellent, and the Vietnamese coffee is insanely good. A hidden gem in the plaza; definitely worth trying!
My new favorite pho spot! You can find parking in the lot in front. There is plenty of seating. Prices here are super fair. I enjoy their hot Vietnamese coffee, just the right amount of condensed milk. As for pho I order #3 Pho Chin. Comes with a lot of noodles and even more brisket. Their broth is perfect! Not too beefy. The service here can be a bit slow since there is usually only one person working the floor but that one worker is always so nice.
I loveeeeee pho metro I come here at least 2-3 times a week really wished they were open on Monday and Tuesdays but it’s okay there’s also a girl that’s usually there Thursdays & Fridays she’s very sweet and attentive and she already knows our order hahaha. Only bad thing I would say about pho metro is they use to have their chili oil which was so good and now they don’t apparently it would be great if they brought it back that way it would be less complicated to have to go to another store to buy some before heading there. I’m a huge sauce girly. Other than that 10/10 food and service !!! The jumbo shrimp rolls and the crispy fried rolls are also 10/10 must try !!!
This place is fantastic. The food and service are superb. I have had Pho in many places in the tristate area and beyond. This place is on the top of the list. Authentic and clean. The service from the staff, especially Darwin, is also very pleasant and makes you want to keep coming back…keep it up Team! We will be back!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The grilled pork, chicken, and shrimp were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and tender, with just the right amount of marinate. Every bite was bursting with deliciousness, and nothing was dry, which is always a sign of great grilling. The spring rolls were another standout—crispy on the outside, with a fresh, tasty filling that was well-balanced in flavor. The ingredients were clearly fresh, enhancing every dish. My only personal preference would be the addition of bean sprouts and fresh mint, but that didn’t take away from the meal. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
One of my favorite pho spots! Can't believe I never posted a review before! I've been eating here for a while now and it's always pretty good! Very convenient and quick, call ahead for pick up :) I recommend their pho with a side of pork chop, my sister likes their noodle salad too with rice vermicelli. Yummy food and great for sharing!
The food is delicious! I’m usually not a roll person but the summer rolls here are very yummy, phos are good too. The flavors, seasonings, spices and sauces are so great! I love the bánh mì sooo much!!! Darwin is always super friendly and attentive, he’s awesome! The environment is also clean and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this place!
I’ve been to Pho Metro a few times and always have a good dining experience. The staff are extra nice. If you have ever heard the phrase “service with a smile”, it’s Pho Metro. I was craving a regular bowl of pho but while looking over the menu and speaking to the waiter, I decided on the #5 Bun Bo Hue noodle soup. It’s spicy with a hint of lemongrass and the meats are tender and delicious. The rice noodles are thicker and round — different from the traditional pho noodles. The menu is simplistic in a good way. They cover all the basics without confusing the diner with too many options. Seating is ample and decorations are minimal making this a very family friendly restaurant.
I have lived in the neighborhood for a very long time and have not tried this particular restaurant but I'm so glad to have gotten to try it. The portions are a good size, enough to eat in one sitting without feeling insanely full and decently priced. My only bone to pick with the pho is that it did not have a lot of meat and the limes were cut into 1/8th pieces. However, outside of that the flavor was really good and I had absolutely excellent service by Duc. I felt very bad for him however because he was the only server around 1 pm on a Friday and it was a bit busy for just one person to handle. Overall, I would recommend that everyone give this place a shot.
We were looking for a place to eat after the US Open at the end of August and found this place. Quite tasty! Chicken salad was delightful. We'll be back the next time we're in town. We came back today and tried something different then last time. Food was just ok. The chicken pho needed more flavor and my beef dish was very salty. Disappointing.
I used to think it’s a pretty good Vietnamese restaurant because I do takeouts sometimes. Didn’t think I had a good experience with dine in. Food was just ok. Bun Bo hue was really bad. The broth and ingredient wasn’t authentic at all. Portion was small. Customer service lacking because there was only one staff and he pretty much went from “forced serving” to “idgaf” after we paid standard tip in front of him when they literally hand you the credit card machine on your table for you to tip. A bit pricey compared to all other Vietnamese restaurants. Plenty of seatings.
Until yesterday, I was someone who actively recommended this restaurant and even brought my friends here. We ordered for four people, and when we politely asked for sliced onions on the side, we were given only a few tiny scraps that honestly felt insulting. After several try to call the waiter then we asked again, we were met with a look that suggested our request was unreasonable and were simply told no. I was extremely embarrassed in front of my guests. I have never experienced this kind of service or response at any other restaurant. If there was an extra charge for additional onions, that should have been clearly communicated. Instead, the dismissive and unpleasant attitude made the experience unnecessarily uncomfortable. The portions were already very small, and on top of that, the spoons have been replaced with cheap disposable plastic ones. It honestly made me question why I was dining in, tipping, and paying full price, only to eat with a flimsy plastic spoon. Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that this was my last visit. The food may have once brought me back, but the service and overall experience ensured that I won’t be returning.
Do NOT get takeout from here!!! Shrinkflation has hit Pho Metro hard! I ordered delivery and got the Bun Dac Biet. Instead of using a pork chop like usual they used slices of pork, so razor thin it’s like the type you’d use for hot pot. Then, to add insult to injury, half of the container was lettuce—there was barely any vermicelli. For $17 they should be ashamed of themselves. The food wasn’t even that fresh. Never ordering from here again.
