Khaatipeeti is fantastic! The ambience is really nice, with beautiful artwork that adds to the vibe. The servers are super friendly, with a great attitude, and the service is really quick. We ordered the chilli chicken and it was amazing—way better than I expected, definitely not the usual basic taste. The Mysore masala dosa and triple Schezwan fried rice were also excellent. The dosa was quite filling—I was full after that. Honestly, every dish we tried was top-notch, 10/10 on food. 🍗 🥘 As a chai lover, I was a bit disappointed that the chai was only half-full in the to-go cup, hopefully it is better next time. ☕️ Might be a bit more expensive than other restaurants, but believe me, it’s worth it. Definitely recommend going in!

loved the ambience and the food! we had the bhel puri, paneer tikka masala, garlic naans, and the highlight- veg awadhi biryani. the awadhi biryani had the saffron flavor which was awesome! the service was extremely fast (even though we went on a weekend!). quantity wise, the portion sizes were not too large. one biryani was enough for one person to eat fully. highly recommended.

My pal Sashi asked me for help setting up a Delaware Tecqueteelizer because of all the weasels in his neighbor's attic, and he told me once we finished he'd take me to the Khaati Peeti Restaurant for real authentic Indian food. Well..muscled through the job like our lives depended on it, and went straight to the Khaati Peeti Restaurant for some amazingly delicious food..5 stars for sure! ☆☆☆☆☆

Had a great dining experience at Katti Peeti in Fremont. The food was served hot, fresh, and packed with flavor—every dish tasted well-seasoned and satisfying, clearly made with care. The portions were generous, and everything came out at the right temperature, which really elevated the meal. The ambience was pleasant and welcoming, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a relaxed meal with family or friends. Overall, a solid place for flavorful food and a good dining vibe. A truly standout experience from start to finish. Khaati Peeti here in Fremont immediately draws you in with its authentic Indian design from the moment you enter: the framed carpets on the walls, the beautiful arches framing each seating area, and that warm, private, almost cocoon-like atmosphere. It feels thoughtfully crafted, not staged. Loved it! The food delivered just as impressively. Every dish was enjoyable, but the lamb chops were on another level - oversized compared to your standard entree, perfectly marinated, and richly layered with Indian spices. Garlic nunn and the amount of it were enough to feed the army. At the entrance, the push bar sets the tone with an elite selection of scotches and Indian whiskeys available for purchase, which adds a premium feel right from the start. Nice. The true highlight, though, was the hospitality. Snigdha deserves a major shout-out for outstanding service. Consistently positive, attentive, and genuinely warm. And respect to Shreedhar, the owner, who stays on the floor, checks on tables, brings out the food, and creates a sense of real connection with guests. That level of presence is rare and elevates the entire experience. A few drink notes for future guests: the cardamom old fashioned was excellent, the espresso martini was rich and delicious, and the new ultramarine blue candy drink, I think, should be served as a dessert cocktail, was fun and on the sweeter side. A place worth returning to, not just for the food, but for the atmosphere and the people who make it special.

The food here is absolutely incredible! I highly recommend trying the dahi puri, malai kofta, Manchurian, veg momos, ras malai, buttermilk, mango lassi, and more….everything was delicious. The restaurant owner is extremely polite and understanding. They truly know what customers want and put a lot of effort into bringing authentic flavors to every dish. They even suggest the best items to try, which we really appreciated. We loved the food so much that we asked them to cater our post-wedding lunch, and they did a fantastic job. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved my visit to Khaati Peeti Restaurant & Bar (formerly Sankalp Fremont)! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — I tried the Neon Margarita, Mix Grill Sizzler, Kaju Curry with Cheese Garlic Naan, and Sizzling Brownie, and everything was incredible. The ambiance is chic yet cozy, perfect for date nights or family dinners. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were some of the best I’ve had in Fremont.

Yesterday we were at Sankalp for the first time and we were super impressed and happy that we made a right decision. Food, Service, Ambiance, hospitality was beyond our expectations. Even though it was Friday night and busy but the service and food were great. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again soon.

We ordered non veg sizzlers garlic butter naan virgin mojito and Kara masala dosa. The food was good the dosa was missing potato masala stuffing they accepted that’s their mistake. I recommend this place. Pet friendly you need to sit outside. Bit expensive

## 🌟 Review of the Legendary Gujarati Franchise I've been eager to try this legendary franchise from Gujarat for quite some time, and it did not disappoint! The **ambience** is both **nice and regal**, creating a wonderful atmosphere for family dining. The **food** was incredibly fresh and rich. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the **Bombay sandwich**, **monchow soup**, **Mysore masala dosa**, and **balti paneer** paired with **veg diwani handi**, complemented by **garlic naan** and **cheese garlic naan**. Each dish represented a different cuisine, and everything was simply superb! For dessert, we indulged in the **sizzling brownie**, which brought back nostalgic memories from my time in India. The **staff** were courteous and receptive to feedback, accommodating our dietary preferences with thoughtful customization throughout our meal. While it was a bit loud—something typical of Indian dining—I won’t hold that against them. Kudos to the team for their excellent service and delicious food! I look forward to visiting again soon!

Had a great meal at Sankalp Restaurant in Fremont! The food was flavorful and fresh — definitely worth a visit if you're craving good Indian food in the Bay Area. Highly recommend the Malai Kofta — it was incredibly soft and creamy, just melted in the mouth. The Tiranga Paneer Tikka is a must-try too — vibrant, well-marinated, and packed with flavor. And the Chole Bhature was surprisingly light and almost oil-free, which is nice. Loved the cozy vibe and fast service too. The staff was very friendly specially very kid friendly. Will definitely be back for more!

Very cozy atmosphere and excellent food. So many good choices in the menu, it is hard to decide. I really liked their butter chicken with parota. We also got their giant four foot dosa for the table, it was very good and everyone enjoyed the experience. Filter coffee was not the best I had but was fine, same for masala tea. Overall, I would come back here for dinner again. Lots of veg options as well for the vegetarians in your party.

Yesterday I dined at Sankalpa and was thoroughly impressed by the authenticity and quality of the cuisine. While there was a 30-minute wait due to the restaurant’s evident popularity, the delay was justified by the exceptional dishes that followed. The Paneer Balti stood out with its perfectly balanced spices and tender paneer in a rich, aromatic gravy. Paired with the Garlic Naan—soft, buttery, and infused with fresh garlic—it was a culinary highlight. Special recognition goes to Ripon, a new staff member, whose attentive service and thoughtful recommendations enhanced the experience. Despite being new, his professionalism and warmth reflected the restaurant’s commitment to hospitality. Though patience was required, the wait underscored the care taken in preparing each dish. Sankalpa delivers an authentic taste of India with remarkable consistency. Highly recommended for those seeking quality over haste—I will certainly return.

Located in Fremont HUB, it is a very busy Indian restaurant. They don’t take reservations we came on Friday at 7 pm and they told us the weight would be half an hour. We observed the people who show up an hour later the wait time actually increases so the right time would be more than an hour. We chose to sit at the patio because we didn’t wanna wait actually it was pretty warm with the heaters on. We ordered chat. It was delicious. We also ordered dosa which came with two chutneys: tomato and coconut. It also included sambar. The food was delicious, but not to the point that I would be craving come here again and again I will definitely come back but you know what I mean.

4.5 stars. First time here, came with friends after I heard a lot about the place. It didn't disappoint. Good food, polite servers, and quick service. Ordered chicken soup, pani puri, chicken 65, kali mirch chicken, fish fry, and bread basket which had a combo of 5 nans. Great interiors BTW. Lot of sizlers so a better ventilation would help.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I recently visited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by its exceptional quality. The food was not only delicious but also of the high quality. The ambiance was inviting and the service was courteous and attentive. Notably, the establishment accommodated our needs as we had a toddler, providing a welcoming environment. We tried several vegetarian options, which were all exceptionally tasty. The sole reason for a four-star rating is the high cost of the food, few items I felt it to be over pricey, it would be good if they could address this. Still recommend this restaurant for its exceptional food and service.
