I used to go here in the 80's. Old school beer bar with great quesadillas. Craft beer on tap, always something good. Can be very noisy in the evening. But I go here for lunch when I come to town.
Red beers are excellent torta's amazing. We also tried the nachos, and there were great. Thank you for the great service.And the great food totally appreciate you guys, totally recommend you

Great food awesome bartenders wonderful atmosphere Always a good time! I didn't take pictures of our food cause we were hungry. My husband at his food there I ate mine at home. An the tamales are delicious!
Tortas are bomb and asada burritos are perfect bar is nice and friendly
My favorite dive/beer/old collage hangouts. The tortas are bomb, and the beer is super cold. This place is still family owned and operated, makes for a cool spot to hang out at.
These ladies can really cook. It's basically a bar. But we will definitely be back for dinner. 😋👍

No complaints. One of if not the only "College Bar" near Fresno State. There big beer is one of the old giant mugs. Kinda like drinking a pitcher $15. They had a Miller Highlife special when I was there 4 or 5 dollars, can't recall. I saw the poster advertisement about the high life after I ordered a coors.
Excellent Michelada. Excellent service and I loved the bar atmosphere. Mondo made me feel at home. Tacos were killer. I will be back!

The staff here is amazing, most of them have been here 10 plus years if not more, the beer selection is great but the food is CHEF'S KISS, the asada torta is to die for, as well as the taquitos/asada fries. it is actual mexican food made to order, just like your abuelita would make it at home. I could make that asada torta my last meal honestly and die happy.

Everyone knows this place for there micheladas which are fire. There food hits the spot after a long day. Try their western burger. Chill place to go watch a game or two.
You wouldn't think it, but this place has amazing food! All of the Mexican food is wonderful; I had the soft taco plate and loved it. Definitely try food if you go in. Big selection of drinks, friendly staff. My favorite dive bar! Just know it's very dark inside and very much seems like a dive bar.

Had a torta and I would say one of the best tortas that I've had. Very cool 😎 atmosphere. If you like Mechaladas than it is also a must to experience. The only reason I gave it a 4 on service is that the bartender was also the waitress and cashier.

Just went to have a beer. It wasn't as cold before. The mugs used to have ice and they would pour your been and the ice would be floating in the beer. But the atmosphere was great. Kareoke night!

The person playing music is a vibe , the food was okay , I’m Mexican myself so I know what real authentic Mexican food taste like , food 5/10 but evrything else was a vibe ☺️

so I just left the building we it was three of us. We had two Michelada‘s and one IPA originally it was supposed to be like $55 and some change and so when I got the bill it was $72. They were charged for food that we didn’t even have food and they were charging me for three Michelada’s mind you we only had 2 …We only had two when I tried to call the place it was their phone line was busy. I really like coming to this place but this last two times they’ve been doing this to me. I really hate this. I don’t know if they’re just trying to make extra money but that’s not the way to do it.

The micheladas were great, The tacos, were not good. tortillas seem to be a day old, no flavor on the carne asada, the chicken was a little better. beans and rice also no flavor, over cooked on the boarder of almost burnt. gave me the runs.
The food was bad over fried nothing special everything was microwaved I didn't smell no food being cooked. All we ordered was a hamburger a torta and a sampler plate 75$ and 2 drinks.very expensive food not worth the price the sampler plate was 25$ we only got 3jalapeno poppers 3chicken wings and fries. It's very sad years ago food here was delicious. I will never go back to Red Wave to eat again!! 😔
