The Broilers

This is kind of like Mediterranean fast food but its pretty good. The chicken is occasionally drier than I like but the salads are really good and the garlic sauce is to die for. I've had a lot of garlic sauce and this one is my favorite. Keeps me coming back. There's a very nice patio area for dining outside.

They have multiple locations, and I’ve been eating here for years since around 2004. I always order the chicken plate with extra pita and extra garlic sauce. The food has always been consistent and delicious no matter which location I visit. It’s the perfect stop when you’re craving good Mediterranean comfort food flavorful chicken, fluffy rice, creamy hummus, warm pita bread, and of course, I can’t leave without a side of baklava. Love that after all these years, the quality and flavor haven’t changed one bit. Definitely my go-to spot!

You get plenty of food for the price. My food was very tasty. I also bought a piece of baklava and was full of honey, a plus for me. Place was very clean and the employee that helped us was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back for more.

Love the food here but why do you charge more for pick up orders online.everything is significantly more expensive when you order on DoorDash even though I’m still coming to your business to pick it up. Super shady.

I love Broilers, however, on the day I visted, the chicken was not tender and was "grainey". It tasted like the grill(spears needed cleaning). So I didnt finish my half chicken salad. Staff was friendly though.

Sure would love to eat there tonight but no one will answer the phone after repeatedly calling. Says they're open till 8p and it is 645p so who knows what's up. I go there occasionally and I've always had good service up front; although, if it's not busy, some of your meat will be dry.

It's just not the same. Last time the lettuce was wilted and bad. This time a tiny sprinkle of feta, 1 thin slice bite of tomato & onion.🤷🏼‍♀️

My was placed before several others that gave theirs in person AND the order came up incomplete as well. No apologies just an explanation that “the line cook doesn’t always hear the order. Oh well…” Whatever that means. Also, recommend that you double check your order before you depart to save yourself a disappointment later.

I am slowly learning the menu and discovering what I like and dislike. The stuffed Grape leaves, the FRESH shaved gyro with the cucumber sauce, and the pitas bread are simply delicious. I mention FRESH cut, for the reason, that if you dont mention it, you risk getting the driest cuts of meat, sometime inedible. The front cashier representative was nice, however the cook seemed to have the issue with preparing my food how I ask. The restaurant was EMPTY before, and while, I was there for quite some time so I knew the food cuts would be old. After he rolled his eyes and huffed he told me it would take an additional 5 minutes and FORGOT my white sauce for the grape leaves which didnt taste that well this time around. I literally was the only customer in the establishment. In conclusion, the Broilers 0.6 miles away on shaw is way better all around.

I ordered a 1/2 a chicken salad with dressing on the side.An extra garlic sauce and extra pink radishes.I got all the way home.I picked up my order.Got home after doing errands.There was no salad dressing in the bag or on the salad.There was no extra pink pickles and the girl at the front was so rude to me. I have left a message with the particular boilers on Herndon And Palm to make my complaint.They have gone downhill for the past couple years now.Every time I go, something seems to be wrong or they've forgotten something in my order.I wouldn't recommend this place again unless you're absolutely starving and have no other choice.

I bought a full beef salad and when I got home, there was a fly in my salad. I drove back to the restaurant and let them know and they told me they could not give me a refund. I have to wait for the manager. They took my phone number and I never received a call back and I never received my refund. The flight was crawling in the salad, but could not fly so I assume that it had been maybe sitting in the meat for a while before being served to me.

Great food, horrible customer service! When an employee ordered after me and got their food in a matter of seconds while I wait 22 minutes for the exact same salad I feel as though customer service is not their focus. Then the employees complaining about their boss right at the front counter, I think I'll go elsewhere from now on.

Very poor service, we ordered a beef & chicken kabob plate. It took over 25 minutes, then just about the time it was to come out, they asked us what we had ordered, then it took about another 8 minutes to come out. My beef kabob had 4 1/2 small pieces and completely burned, the garlic sauce was bland along with the French fries. Not happy, we’ve always been happy with our orders but not this time! Not to mention our order rang up to $35.00 , just think this is a seat yourself diner🥴

I gave this restaurant a 1-star. The staff prioritize Door Dash orders than the people waiting for their orders. There were like more than 20 people waiting for their orders. I ordered a chicken salad shawarma and it took 35 minutes for them to hand me my order because I had to go up to the counter and asked for my food! Very frustrated with the service here today and I come to eat here almost everyday. Today will be my last day. Had a long day at work and now my work lunch, to enjoy eating my salad was only 15 minutes to eat. Wasted my time sitting there!

Found a thick beard hair in my beef shawarma, the guy who prepared my food was most definitely the source, he wasn't wearing a hairnet which is certainly a mandatory health standard according to the Fresno Country department of health. Other than that the service was very quick.

I love the food and the staff is friendly. However the owner made new rules so you cannot change anything about your plate. For example I like to order the chicken salad with the chicken on the side because by the time I get it home the salad is wilted form the chicken being hot. So last time I went they informed me they cannot do that anymore because the owner said they are not allowed to make any changes at all. So I now will not be going there anymore and I used to go every week at least once a week. I even offered to pay extra and they said sorry we can't or we'll get in trouble so until this rule changes I will not be back.

Went in to get a salad was not greeted by Daniella . I asked for 2 Radishes on the side and only received one . I asked for an extra dressing because I got a full salad and she stated she would have to charge me extra for dressing . Got home 30 minutes form location to find out I paid extra for a dressing I should had with my salad . Meat had no flavor and the salad was super dry missing the tomatoes . When I called restaurant she said you can come back and get the dressing but they close at 8 and I live nearly 30 minutes away . It was very slow in the restaurant when I got there . How do you forget to packed an order?

I went to the broiler yesterday and ordered the beef Sharwma and a full beef salad. First the meat was dry and very bland, it had no taste at all, it tasted old and dry, I only got 1 wax pepper when you usually get 3 and charged me when I asked for another pepper after already spending $40. On the salad and beef plate with 2 drinks. I've been coming to the Broiler for over 20 years and I might try a different location to see if there service is the same, but I know for a fact that I will never ever go to the Broiler on Palm and Herndon again just NASTY!!!!!!

(DEAD FLY IN SALAD) Wife got a chicken salad. Had an old dried up dead fly towards the bottom of the dish. Mot uncommon I understand. She looks at her food not just shovel it in her mouth. She told management and was treated only as a suspect. They didn't even try to remake it for her. Just real Lousy treatment wasn't looking for anything free or trying to get over on anyone.

We have been going there for Years And pretty much getting the same dishes…Im not sure what happened lately , but customer service is not good anymore and the food quality and the amount decreased! It’s sad. I’m not sure if the management changed but the food taste is not the same…old lettuce in salads and the chicken and pita bread taste old. Sad.

I’m on lunch and short on time and like any other person, preferred my lunch to be ready by pickup so I called ahead to place an order - I called SIX times and was not able to reach anyone. (Already pissed) I tried one more time and NOTHING. I completely understand it’s lunch hour and they’re busy but to completely ignore the incoming calls? At least hire more staff so this issue does not occur. Very unprofessional, I took my business elsewhere.

Had an awful experience tonight. Ordered two meals and paid extra to get four Pita breads. In addition we asked they wrap the pitas in foil so they don’t immediately get cold. Our order arrived and we only had three pitas, and they were not wrapped in foil. We inquired about the fourth pita, and they gave us a cold one as if we were bothering them. We eat here a lot, but that will change since it appears the employees don’t care.

Got the chicken salad wasn't very good. Ranch tasted like hidden valley ate almost all of it and noticed a bug In my food. I will never eat here again.

Sooooo Disappointed!! Made an order to go and got home and only half of my order was in the bag. I call and let them know I only got half of my order and I was told "I noticed the rest of your order was missing but you left so quick" When your order is called and you get it you leave right?? I was then told "we can either remake it or you can come a different day" I explained I had to come get it as it was my father's food. I explained that I did not live close and how much of an inconvenience it was to drive all the way back to the restaurant and back home. On my way to the restaurant my daughter calls to let me know the extra pita bread I paid for is missing too. Fast forward I get to the restaurant I explained who I am and also shared that the extra pita bread I paid for was not in the bag either, just 2 salads and the dressings. The Mexican lady in the kitchen starts to argue and say they were in there, while I'm explaining they are not. So they throw extra pita bread(which were only 2 pieces, I still did not get the extra pita I paid for), sauce, and the rest of my order in a bag and give me a dry "sorry". I will not return to this Broilers at this point they treated me like it was my fault THEY messed up on my order....Not a we apologize for the inconvenience, not even a we will compensate you what WE left out of your bag or how can we make this better.....just a "sorry". I won't be back unfortunately and it's sad because we love this place, however how you treat your customers determines if they will continue to support. 😒

I came to this place few weeks ago and got 1 gyro in a pita only. Tonight randomly I checked my bank account and I saw a charge from them of $27. I don’t have the receipt and I didn’t really check it that day but even if I left 20% tip that would still not be $27 for a gyro. Not sure if they charged me for a meal. My fault though. My sister found a hair in her food, and when she told them, they told her there was nothing they can do because she had already ate the food. So she told them what if she gets sick and all they told her was to leave her name and number for them. No refund or compensation, nothing. If I could 0 stars. Never coming here again. Stay away!!!
