This diner was amazing. The food was fabulous. The biscuits were the best I have had in a long time. If you enjoy a good old fashion breakfast this is the place for you. The decor was fun and funky. Next time I am in town I will definitely go back.

Pleasant experience here. It was only myself and two other customers for lunch because it was around 3pm. The waitress was very patient with me when I couldn’t decide what to order and we had some good laughs along the way. The portions are huge so bring your appetite! Great value for the money! I got gravy with my chicken fingers but then asked for honey mustard and it was so good. The okra could stand to be bigger pieces with less cook time but they were still good. Would definitely eat here again when I’m back in town!

Great food! I’ll definitely be back! Food taste just like home or some mom and pops love out in the middle of the country. The vibe was cool, and the service was quick. Food didn’t take long. Price was reasonable. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone. Chicken fried chicken came with 3 sides and they were all amazing!

The ambience is nostalgic, it's clean, tables are a reasonable distance apart. We each ordered something different. The pot roast was good, the omelet good but the hash browns were very dry, the meat loaf was almost edible, and the desserts were all good. Service was OK - if you can't remember the orders, write them down. We'd probably visit again to try something different.

The Chicken Fried Steak was quite tasty, my only knock on it was it was very thin and ratio of bread/meat was way off. The hash browns were tasty and very crispy. The pancakes were good and a pretty big portion. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Overall if you’re looking for a quick breakfast Norma’s Cafe is a good place to start as their food is well rounded good.

Went to Norma’s for some real Southern food and found just that. The server was so great and lively. She really took care of us six. The location was easy to find. Parking availability was good. And wait time was decent. The prices were reasonable. Food and drinks were just as expected.

Good diner vibe and well prepared food. I’ve been here a few times over the past few years in visits to North Texas from Tulsa and have yet to have a bad experience. On the last visit, it was pretty dead as they had an issue with their credit card system but fortunately I had cash. That meant my omelette came out about 2 minutes after I ordered it and it was prepared to perfection. Service was fast and friendly, no complaints at all.

What a gem! Visited here while traveling. The atmosphere is a Texas themed diner. Super friendly and attentive waitstaff. I had the Texas trainer's scramble and my husband had the Norma's Cafe Favorite. Those two menu items were delicious. We also split a short stack of pancakes, but I should have skipped that item. The pancakes were not very good, but everything else was amazing! I would definitely visit again and maybe try one of the slices of pie .

Grabbed some lunch at Norma’s Cafe. Inside the decor has a retro feel with a diner like vibe. I was seated right away. Had a mushroom Swiss burger with a side of tator tots. The burger was good, could have used more mushrooms and some A1 would have been nice. It arrived hot to the table. So hot I had to let it cool off to eat it. The tator tots were average at best. Seemed like they were frozen ones from the grocery store. Although I didn’t have dessert the pies looked amazing which makes sense why their motto is “life is short, eat dessert first”. The restaurant also serves breakfast.

The food was OK. It arrived quickly. The service is great. But WHY would a Cafe renowned for Southern cooking serve WEAK coffee and VEGETABLE OIL SPREAD instead of butter??!!

We came in for breakfast during our visit in Frisco. I like the decor and our server was friendly. We ordered the Norma’s cafe Favorite, and Belgian Waffle. Nothing special and food is okay.

Service is good, but the food is sadly not. Their coffee has a horribly strange taste to it, their pancakes are dense and heavy and have so much vanilla it almost tastes like frosting. The veggie omelette was good, but that was it. Even the hashbrowns tasted dry and bland. So disappointing because the place is visually charming and staff is nice :(

We were greeted promptly and was sat quickly. The service was fine. Now the food, our food was lacking serious flavor and everything was over cooked. The fried chicken BLT was so over cooked that the chicken inside was dried out to a point where only the breading was left and it was rock hard. The onion rings were so saturated in oil that rings were mushy and slimy. Everyone at our table did not enjoy their food and had a similar experience. I was left with the feeling that I drank oil. I will not be back.

I’m not sure they season or flavor the food at all. The mozzarella sticks were clearly frozen at some point, and the “marinara sauce” tasted like plain crushed tomatoes with no salt or seasoning. The patty melt completely fell apart and was soggy. Service was okay — the waitress was nice and prompt. But as far as the food goes, I’ve honestly had better meals at Braum’s. Someone send in Gordon Ramsay in before its to late.

I have been to several Norma's locations and never really had a problem I have tried this location a handful of times and tried to give them a chance but this last order was so bland and nasty I'm embarrassed for them. The chicken fried steak was unseasoned and felt very undercooked although the chicken wasn't raw the breading was very soggy and unflavourful the macaroni and cheese was also very unflavourful. I ordered on the Norma's app however mashed potatoes and Green Beans are not an option although I do know they have it on the menu. the last time I called in an order to this location and got Green Beans it was like they came straight from a can not the normal Green Beans that we all love and know that is flavourful and tasty. Every single time I choose a salad it's all the white parts of the iceberg lettuce no green leafy parts and the roll and corn bread is always stale. I've been a patron of normals for many many years and my last visits at this Frisco location have been more than disappointing I guess I'll just keep driving to the one in plano I've never had any issues there with the food.

ordered online through doordash so no way of resolving it but the ol number 7 is what i usually always get whenever i order. came so incomplete i wished i hadn’t ordered and paid money for it. i’m happy paying the price and delivery of something so long as i am getting that full something. per the stuff on it, i was missing any eggs, sausage, gravy, jalenpenos. only thing in it was the biscuit, bacon, hash browns, and cheese. that’s literally all that came, if they didn’t have the ingredients i wish i was at least notified and i would’ve ordered a substitute but nothing they let this get picked up
