This is the kind of place you need to try at least once and go big! The decor was stunning and the food was out of this world. We chose the Toro Toro Churasco and did not regret and single penny of it.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and I absolutely adored the aesthetic. I highly recommend trying the sweet corn empanadas, the 20oz double barrel pork chop, and the lamb chops. Definitely coming back.

We had an excellent experience here while celebrating my husband’s birthday! First, love that the valet parking is comped when validated by the restaurant. We had the beef anticucho appetizer, salmon, wagyu steak, Brussels sprouts, and truffle fries. Everything was so flavorful and unique! We ended with La Bomba dessert which was delicious and such an experience!! We will return!

Toro Toro was soo cute! I really liked the venue. It is so chill. I also loved my food. I had a glass of wine, a steak with a side of truffle mashed and as an appetizer we had the guacamole. We also had the cutest dessert. We definitely enjoyed our girls night feeling extra special!

Went on two different days once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times the food was delicious, not too long of a wait for food. Service was good, nothing amazing, but not bad.

Love love love this place! The ambiance has a cool vibe and the food is incredible! This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or date night! Painkiller is a really good sweet drink. If you're looking for a strong drink that serves it's purpose try a Casual Encounter. I can't wait to go back and try their bottomless brunch on Sundays!!

Absolutely Amazing! Celebrated our 16the wedding anniversary here. After our reservation at another restaurant was nowhere to be found. Food was excellent, service was exceptional. They even gave us a glass of wine each and dessert in the house. We are already planning another visit! Thank You for making our anniversary dinner unforgettable..

Me and my best friend went on a Sunday. I would suggest to get the bottomless brunch because we spend that amount with 2 appetizers and entree plus 4 mimosas. Food was great. Aguachiles were great! we need some of that sauce in a separate little bowl to dip the chips 😉. It was not too busy around 11 on a sunday. Make reservations to be sure.

We stopped for appetizers and a few drinks before a reception. We sat at the bar and had their sliders and shrimp cocktail. They had 2 beers we hadn't tried so we got those. Food was really good. Shrimp cocktail was not typical but it was very good. We ended up going back after the reception and sat on the floor area. Seating was cozy and floor service was phenomenal. We were tempted to try some of their premium whiskies but it was a long day! Overall I was impressed.

This was first time dining at Toro. I enjoyed the full experience. The atmosphere was warm from the hostess to the server (Austin who was amazing). My husband had the pork chops and myself salmon. I would dine here again no doubt

Fantastic food at Toro Toro. We started with the Tuna ceviche and the guacamole. The Tuna ceviche was to die for, AMAZING. The food in general was amazing though that was a star. For entrees we got the prime rib, octopus anticucho, sweet corn empanadas and truffle fries. All was amazing with great flavor but the octopus was so charred and grilled to perfection. The churros to top of the meal were the perfect finish.

This restaurant is a gem. I am always a little leary about restaurants in hotels, they can be a hit or miss but this one is top notch. The restaurant itself is elegant and moody, the service was fantastic, our server Val was on point and had great menu recommendations. The food was delicious, well seasoned, bold and the woodfired steaks were cooked to perfection. We had the Peruvian ceviche, wedge salad, filet and short rib, all were tasty, but save room for dessert, the sweet corn cake was outstanding, we got it with a scoop of cajeta ice cream on top and it was out of this world.

This is one of my families favorite restaurants!! The flavor profiles are out of this world, and the unique drinks make the experience that much better! Wonderful place to dine with an excellent and knowledgeable wait staff.

We made a reservation for the bottomless brunch to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. The service, staff, atmosphere and most importantly the food was outstanding. If you do the bottomless brunch make sure to go in HUNGRY. Our experience did not disappoint! So glad we picked this spot to celebrate our special occasion. I did forget to take a picture of the main courses , I got the “churrasco” and eggs, I will say it was beautiful but was a bit bummed when I saw it was not a traditional meat cut of churrasco perhaps an oversight on my part but still exquisite. Also, I loved the fact there’s complimentary valet parking, very convenient and don’t have to worry about having to drive around in DFW looking for a spot to park.

What a perfect spot !!! We got the bottomless brunch and it was AMAZING!! The food was absolutely incredible! The drinks were SOOOOO TASTY!! The service was amazing and the vibe was spot on!! Shout out to Bret who was our server! Perfect music volume levels so we could still have great conversations without yell at each other ! The brisket taco was our favorite and we will definitely be back!!!!

One of the best meals I've had in a long time... We came for our anniversary and we were treated so specially by every member at the restaurant who served us. Amazing food and drinks too, of course. Highly recommend the red snapper dish!

Went for DFW Restaurant Week for the curated menu with a few girlfriends. Food was to die for! Please get the Octopus Anticucho, you won’t regret it. Ambiance is very nice and setting is lively but intimate. Definitely recommend for a date night or girls night! Ask for Doug! He made our first experience here the best.

Awesome atmosphere with a great waitress. Food was delicious & presentation interesting. Here are some pictures of the various meals our table of three enjoyed. Parking was complementary valet too!

I cannot begin to describe how amazing this restaurant truly is. Toro Toro Fort Worth is located at the base of the Renaissance Worthington Hotel. Richard Sandoval has managed to curate a brunch menu that stays true to its Central and South American roots while also paying homage to its North Texas location. I have become a lover of zucchini after having the tiradito. Some of my favorite dishes included the shrimp aguachile, esquites, zucchini tiradito, and the churrasco with eggs. I hope that they manage to change the menu items every few months, so I have more excuses to visit the restaurant. Also, the cocktails that are discounted as part of the bottomless brunch are absolutely incredible! I cannot wait to return to Toro Toro.

We've been here twice in the last month for dinner and brunch. Both times, the food and service were fabulous! Wonderful and kind staff all around. Thankful for the delightful experience to celebrate an anniversary and a birthday.

This place was outstanding! Emily our server was amazing, she gave suggestions, was pleasant and courteous and had a great friendly smile. Old fashion was amazing and dinner was delicious. Got the prime ribeye, Brussels and mac n cheese. Everything was great 10 out of 10!

Emily was a fantastic professional! The food choice and service couldn't be any better and my wife and I have eaten at all the finest restaurants in FTW. This venue along with the food and staff set this one a part from the rest! If you're looking for a great date night this is the place! We love the Colorado Lamb!

Every place was full. We couldn't find a place to eat dinner on a Friday night in Ft Worth and this place was meant to be for the night. Even though they were full and it was a hour wait they recommended we sit in the cocktail area and someone can still serve us. Amazing atmosphere in the lobby. TV's and comfortable seating and the service was great. The amount of ground they covered was awesome. Everything was available on the menu except the Tomahawk. The mini Tomahawk was available and to my surprise they still did the presentation for the table. Also the ceviche and swordfish dip were great!

I recently went here for the Sunday Brunch. The food was amazing, the drinks were great, and the service was great too. The Sunday Brunch is a taste menu with your choice of entree. I got the steak and eggs for mine and it did not disappoint. The mimosas are $3 each during the brunch, and I highly recommend the Mimosa Misterioso.

This place was a great surprise when we we found it. I didn’t expect this experience inside our hotel. I had a feeling it was going to be great when the hostess seated us and I saw the grill. Very cool to sit near it and watch as the chef grills all the meats for the nights orders. This girl was a beast on the grill, hard working, focused and knew exactly what she was doing. My steak was perfectly seasoned and couldn’t have been cooked and better. Sides were good too. Mashed potatoes and corn empanadas were memorable. We ended with the chocolate cake which was very good, even for a non dessert eater such as myself. My wife and I sat and watched the chef “do her thing” for a good while after our meal just because it was entertaining. It’s not cheap to eat here but it is worth the money!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful date night here! The staff were very attentive and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend the smoked bison tiradito and the blackened tuna tacos, the manager recommended these to us, and it was my favorite things off the menu. Cannot wait to come back!

For many in the party, this was our first time. The food is unique, but tasty. We had questions about the menu. Tyrnee and her group were awesome. They are very friendly and personable. They put the cherry on the top. The staff went the extra mile wherever they could including cutting the cake, bringing in items, answering all and any of our questions and providing extra items for the setup and tear down. You will enjoy the experience. Parking is free with validation from the restaurant

We came here to celebrate my husband getting into graduate school. The service was fantastic and the food was astounding! The lamb was the surprise favorite! Highly recommend this place!

AMAZING. The food, the service, the aesthetics etc. A beautiful birthday dinner for my husband, it was. We recommend the swordfish dip, the octopus appetizer and the ribeye. The picanha was delicious as well but a tad bit salty for my taste. It was still incredible though. The truffle fries were fresh and crispy and we ate our dessert so fast that we didn't get a picture (it was mango sorbet). Come try it!

I loved it here!! It's in walking distance to a lot of other things in the area. It's attached to an hotel. The lounge area is amazing. Whether you waiting to be seated or want to enjoy a drink and the lounge area. The service was wonderful!!! The ambiance is lovely. I scheduled a last minute dinner and advised it was our anniversary week in the reservation and I was impressed every staff we encountered wished us an happy anniversary. For it to be last minute they read their notes! The food was delicious and so were the deserts. I definitely be returning. Oh if you valet at the end of dinner teller the waiter or hostess to get it validated!

How do I describe the beyong excellent experience here? My husband and I decided to have a semi-private wedding dinner in ToroToro plus it's super close to Tarrant county courthouse. Every staff and service showed their best hospitality. Everyone had a big smile on thier faces and served us quickly with the best attitude! All staff deserve roskstars services award! The restaurant put up a 'reserved' sign which was beautifully presented. While we got to customized the menu for our guests can be a lil confusing, all the food was delicious and blown away! The manager Nancy tends to reply emails slowly but she makes sure everything is in line essentially. We were so happy to host our initimate dinner in ToroToro. Absolutely recommend for everyone who's looking for places to host semi-primate events. ToroToro won't disappoint you. (Everything was perfect but they forgot to bring out salad. We didn't realized that until 2 days later so that's kinda our fault too.) Oh, the tomahawk steak is a must try!!

Can’t believe I haven’t typed a review for Toro Toro! I’ve been here at least 10 times and every time is nothing short of delicious. From the cocktails to brunch to dinner, it is all impeccable. Highly suggest getting the Mercado Margarita cocktail. The brunch is bottomless food, so you can get endless rounds of waffles like I have. Plus, only $3 cocktails with the brunch is a steal. For lunch/dinner the Toro Toro burger hits the spot. I have sat in the dining area twice, but prefer to sit at the bar since no reservation is required there, and Gabe & Anthony always make the best drinks! I have brought many friends & family here and they love the ambiance and Latin music with brunch.

First visit and it was a wonderful experience! The location decor is a delight and stands out. One of our party arrived a bit late, and we weren’t able to be seated until he arrived, which was a bit odd. We had a few different appetizers, highly recommend the ceviche and empanadas. I chose the giant shrimp which was a very generous portion and my wife got the filet. Both were cooked to perfection. Service was attentive and drink prices were on par with other restaurants.

Fantastic place! The Mercado Margarita is one of the BEST drinks I've had in a long time! The smoked bison tiradito was amazing and so were our entrees. I ordered the truffle fries and my husband swears they're the best fries he's ever had! The staff was super friendly as well! Can't wait to come back!

The restaurant is conveniently located inside a nice hotel. The entrance welcomes you to the smell of grilled meat. We came here for my wife’s birthday and as we sat down, they greeted her with shot of tequila and a chocolate. Happy Birthday! We first ordered the octopus and it was so delicious, we ordered another plate. My wife got the 3-course meal and I went for the ceviche and this tiny grilled rolled steak. The skirt steak she ordered was tender, juicy, and pleasurable. My orders was just as good and almost life changing as I’ve never tasted some of these flavors before. My daughter ordered the cucous chicken and raved about it for a week. Everything was nicely prepared and presented. It was a culinary experience we did not expect. Pricey but for us it was worth the experience.

Husband made reservations for ny bday dinner. I was super excited and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was vibrant and elegant. We arrived a few minutes early so we got some drinks at the bar and the tequila old fashion and Mercado margarita were amazing. Once seated our server was great and attentive to include the young lady that brought out all of our food. The food itself was nothing short of Amazing the amount of flavors from everything we tried was delicious. Also got surprised with a birthday tequila shot. We didn't get to try any desserts but will definitely be coming back.

Hands down highly recommend for food and drinks. Can’t say enough good things. The bartenders are great and the atmosphere is fun. The food is wonderful. The lunch and dinner menu. Burger 9/10 Truffle fries 10/10 Short rib tacos 5/10 (was dry. Only complaint) Brussels sprouts 10/10 Pork belly mac 4/10 (Mac isn’t really my thing. Might be yours) Crispy prawns 10/10 (100% get this) Beet salad 9/10 (I love a good salad) Tees Leches 10/10

The ambience was beautiful. The customer service was great -especially Michelle who was kind on the phone and answered my questions when I visited in person. Now the food was exquisite - even a "very picky" person of our party enjoyed the food. Great place for my mom's 70th birthday party

Had such an amazing experience at Toro Toro. The customer service was top notch, our waitress made sure to check on us multiple times and gave us great recommendations. I’m still thinking about the ribeye chicharrones w/ the guac! Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Fort Worth!

We had a great business happy hour and dinner here. The bar is lively with live music. Our dinner was nothing short of spectacular! We had two appetizers, a Device and a buffalo type food. They were amazing. But the winner of dinner was the Tomahawk steak. It was prepared phenomenally and was one of the best steaks I've had in Ft Worth. Three of us shared the steak. Highly recommend this place.

We love everything about this restaurant. Our most recent visit was for our anniversary dinner. Once again, everything was perfect. We started with a complimentary glass of champagne, always a nice touch. Our choices for the evening included the Heirloom Tomato and Burrata salad, a perfect blend with watermelon, hearts of palm, baby arugula, pepito pesto, and balsamic glaze. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts with cojita cheese, golden raisins, and sherry vinaigrette melted in my mouth, and was the perfect accompaniment to the Star of the dinner, The Tomahawk Ribeye for 2. The presentation was impressive, the flavor fabulous. It was accompanied by bone marrow butter and flamed with mezcal. A robust Cabernet Savignon was perfect compliment. Perfect evening again.

My husband came here on date night and had such a wonderful experience. The ambiance is moody yet bright with excellent customer and attentive staff. We at the mini tomahawk that came with a surprising table side experience that included charring the meat and having the options to be slathered with rosemary butter. The meat was a little bit overcooked from the medium plus we ordered so next time we might order medium to prevent the overcooking. The Brussels sprouts are to die for!! 10/10 recommend to perfection. We ordered the truffle fries and sent them back because we were not a huge fan. The guacamole was fresh and bright and the tuna ceviche was my absolute favorite. It had blast of flavors with the mango and jalapeño mix it contained. 10/10!! I cannot recall the drinks we had but I included a picture for reference. It was so so so refreshing and I had to stop myself from ordering one more. Overall excellent experience!

Went for a lovely birthday dinner for my wife and I'm so glad we did! From the ambiance to the food, and even the great customer service by Emily (more to come on her), everything was perfect! We booked reservations and we were seated right away. Also note, valet is free when dining and getting validation. The ambiance was so cool, top shelf bar, awesome decor, and the grill in the middle made everything so cool to look at. We had the pleasure of getting Emily as our server. Her poise and aura was such a vibe. She recommended the corn empanadas and they were fire! We all ordered delicious entrees, and when she found out it was my wife's birthday, they even brought out a shot for her! He was so sweet and made the entire dining experience a wonderful one! We ended with churros and a tres leches cake and we were so happy! This is definitely a spot to hit up! Ask for Emily when you do go bc she's attentive, has great recommendations and totally will set the vibe right! Great experience overall it Toro Toro!

I had an amazing Father's Day brunch at Toro Toro from the valet parking to the table. Brunch buffet was laid out well with an amazing selection that had something for everyone. Staff was friendly and professional. Chef Julio stopped by our table to give his insights, which was appreciated. He also told us about the regular menu and suggested we experience the restaurant during the week. We will definitely do so!!

The bar at Toro Toro is always a must whenever I’m in Fort Worth! The drinks are creative, flavorful, and one-of-a-kind! The Mercado Margarita is an absolute must-try! Hands down the best burger in town. The Cubano is another solid choice too! Both great quality, incredible taste, and that perfect old Fort Worth vibe throughout the place!

If you’re looking for a place to turn an ordinary night into something memorable, here is the perfect spot. From the beautifully plated dishes to the warm ambience, every detail feels thoughtfully crafted. The lamb chops are incredibly tender with a rich smoky aroma, the crispy prawns come layered with fresh greens and just the right touch of spice, and the grilled chicken bursts with flavor alongside vibrant. It’s the kind of place where every plate surprises you.

My husband and I went to Toro Toro on Feb 27th, but only had time for appetizers because we had a show to catch. The food and service was exceptional. Truly a tease, so we'll be back to get the full experience.

The experience from beginning to end was superb. Arriving at the peak dinner hour without a reservation, we were accommodated within 10 minutes. During our wait for a table, Julian, the bartender, had a delightful exchange with us, pouring cold draft Manhattans. Shortly after, our server, Elizabeth, introduced herself and provided an overview of the restaurant's history and menu. Her knowledge, friendly disposition, and warm hospitality resulted in truly spectacular service, making us feel like we were dining with a friend. I selected the 10oz Pichana with potatoes three ways, while my partner had the amarillo ceviche as his entree. The ribeye chicharrón was also ordered for the table. Everything was incredibly delicious, and we look forward to returning soon.

I have been wanting to leave this review since the moment we walked out on January 12, 2026! Michelle Johnson was truly an angel sent from above. We reached out just three days before our courthouse wedding, and from the very beginning she was on top of everything and made it possible for us to celebrate such a special moment with our family. Her communication was clear, prompt, and reassuring. She prioritized us ahead of the dinner rush, answered every question with ease, and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. We were seated in the tequila room, which we absolutely loved for the privacy it provided, it was the perfect setting. Jaqueline was also incredible. We had about 21 guests, and she made sure everyone always had a drink and never needed a thing. The tomahawk with the fire show was unforgettable, and La Bomba was a total crowd pleaser! Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. Our guests also appreciated the complimentary valet, and some even walked over directly from the Tarrant County Courthouse, which made everything so convenient. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. We are beyond grateful to Michelle and the entire Toro Toro Fort Worth team for making our special day truly perfect. We cannot recommend them enough!

Food was delicious, staff was friendly and accommodating, communication with them was great, pricing was alright, sides and appetizer portions could be *slightly* bigger considering it's family style, but alright if its just 2 people with small apetites lol. We did order sparkling water but I believe it was forgotten. The ambient was very noisy can definitely get a little overstimulating but it was valentines day weekend so its understandable. Tomahawk steak was great and comes with a show. Truffle fries were yummy. Could have been warmer. The shrimp cocktail was great. We had a stroller and they gave us a great tucked away spot. Free validated valet is a plus.

A rediscovered favorite! Latin flair within a Cowtown vibes. Everything we tried had its own character, offsetting flavors which sets us apart from the usual steakhouse. The staff was excellent, engaging and warm. Dessert…..best tres leches yet! P.S. don’t judge the appetizer pic..too yummy to wait.

L

Toro Toro has been an exceptional experience every time we have been and this time was no different. From the moment you check in to the time that you leave everyone is hospitable, personable, and happily open to making suggestions based on your tastes and experiences with your palate. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu but the picanha stands out boldly with flavor and presentation, the tres leches is divine, but if you're a lover of the subtle and unassuming you're going to fall head over heels for their heirloom carrots. There's no comparison, the flavors and texture are out of this world.

We decided to come here for our first date. Alex took care of us, and I was extremely impressed. He could tell we liked our space as we were getting to know one another. He took very good care of us and was not intrusive at all! I really respected him because I could see his eyes dart over every time he passed by but he never said a word. And when we needed something it was there without being asked. Will return to see Alex. Steak was alittle meh tbh - but i got the 14oz so maybe thats on me.

We went for the new lunch buffet and it was wonderful. I don't know how long they can keep it at $18, but if you have not tried it, I would get out there Monday through Friday, lunchtime, it is wonderful and a great selection.

Food… phenomenal. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. We were told to wait at the bar while they prepped our table. Not a big deal we had a reservation and were fine with the few minutes of delay. We ordered a drink. We then were seated where we ended up waiting 15 minutes without being served anything. Not even water. We were passed by many servers and had to get someone’s attention to tell them we haven’t been serviced. It was a shame. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary too. Food was amazing! But with the lack of service, I don’t think I can give full 5 stars. 😥

My visit to Toro Toro offered a blend of outstanding and somewhat disappointing experiences. Starting with the positives, the valet service was notably easy to use, despite a technical glitch where the QR code system for retrieving our cars failed for two different vehicles. The service from our server was the highlight of our evening. Their attentiveness was remarkable, adding a special touch to our dining experience. Regarding the cuisine, most dishes we tried were excellent. However, a major letdown was the tres leches cake. Contrary to what one would expect from a typically moist dessert, this was the driest tres leches cake I've ever encountered. I'd advise against choosing this dessert unless you prefer your tres leches unusually dry. On the downside, our dining experience was marred by prolonged waiting times. It took almost an hour for our food to arrive. Additionally, the hostess was absent from the stand both when we arrived and later when we needed to validate our valet ticket. This led to extended wait times and eventually required us to seek help from a server to find the hostess, who appeared to be distracted by conversations with coworkers. In conclusion, while Toro Toro shines in terms of server service and most of its culinary offerings, there are areas in operational efficiency and certain aspects of the menu that need improvement to ensure a fully satisfying experience for all guests.

Our waitress, Emily, was top notch - buuut she didn't know anything about the wine list (me either 😉). It's a really swanky atmosphere and nicely lit. For the price of the 10 oz wagyu, I would have expected the meat to be more tender and moist. It was still good, just perhaps not as good as it could have been. We split it, a wedge and sweet corn empanadas. The wedge was decent but those empanadas - so good!

This was supposed to be an upscale restaurant in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. Toro toro is in the middle of a hotel. A nicer hotel at that. I found the tables to be a bit close together and the music extremely loud. There was in all fairness some sort of business convention going on at the bar and lobby. The restroom is upstairs and you have to walk by a food warming station to get to the elevator . We were seated promptly. We ordered our drinks. Soft drinks. Took about 15 minutes to get those. We ordered our appetizer and again took about 15 to 20 minutes. About forty minutes later our entrees came out, with almost all of our sides. That took another 15 minutes. The flavor of the steak was incredible. Seasoned to perfection. The flavored on the sides were equally as good. The only problem is …everything was cold. It took so long to get dinner that I was not going to send it back. But dinner was over 200 bucks. To their credit they gave us 10 percent off and a free dessert. I am hoping that it was just an off night.

Nice place inside the Worthington Renaissance hotel, cool bar with a few TVs and a charcoal grill in the middle of the dining room. Waited at the bar for nearly an hour to get a table, but manager was kind enough to get us a couple free appetizers, nothing wrong with that. Once seated and order placed, it took another 45 min to get hour food, so beware, it is slow service, but the food was great, drinks were good too. Guac was OK, lacked some seasoning and lime, corn empanadas were tasty (those were the free appetizers). For drinks had a mezcal with pineapple, that was pretty good. Once seated, we had the Churrasco that serves 2, but it actually fed the 3 of us and had some leftovers, and it was really good, especially ribeye and lamb chops; the chicken had a really good char on it. As sides, we had asparagus, that were huge, never seen big ones as these before, and the Brussel sprouts that had a touch of sweetness. Didn't make it to the dessert. Concept is kind of weird, several Peruvian inspired dishes and several meat cuts, but overall, it's pretty good!

Pros: this place is very nice with a dim environment. You get complimentary valet parking in front of the hotel. My ribeye steak was super tender and the chimichurri sauce and the accompanying red sauce was delicious. Our server, Emily was very attentive and nice. Cons: I got an espresso martini that unfortunately tasted watered down possibly when it was shaken with ice. The Amarillo ceviche was good however it was served with very stale tortilla chips. Their lomo saltado also isn’t traditional, it was a very small portion on a big plate and was garnished with a lot of shredded vegetables. Lastly the restrooms are upstairs!! You need to take the stares or the elevator which is such a hassle. Very nice and fancy restaurant. I did expect a little more from them being that everything on the menu was pricy.

good service staff, the burrata was beautiful, ripe to perfection tomatoes, watermelon was a great touch. ordered the double cut pork chop, recommended to butterfly it. I said no, came out perfectly cook. anticipated it to be a little dried out, they said it comes out medium and it was delicious. they only uneventful course was the ice cream bomb, which they drop on the table in a chocolate bowl. need to come up with a wow factor for it. advertised with pop rocks but we're not present. it was a great pick, beautiful restaurant. staff could be a little more knowledgeable on the menu. it was a great experience

Cool spot for a nice drink or a meal. Food Menu isn’t very large so there’s not a ton of options. Lots of drink options on the menu. Definitely suggest the wedge salad. Also ordered the grilled avocado but it didn’t seem warm or grilled at all and wasn’t what I was expecting. It was basically an avocado split in half with fresh salsa inside.

Toro Toro Fort Worth is a solid option for a lively dinner when you want bold flavors and an energetic atmosphere. The menu leans heavily into Latin-inspired dishes with rich sauces, well-seasoned meats, and shareable plates that work well for groups. Service was generally attentive, though it can feel a bit rushed during busy hours. The space itself is stylish and modern, with a vibrant crowd that adds to the experience. Prices are on the higher side, but the variety and flavor make it a worthwhile spot for a night out rather than a quiet dinner.

I made a reservation for our anniversary and when we arrived, there were plenty of open tables, yet it took several minutes for them to place us at a table, then we were sat in the tequila bar area. Not exactly what I had hoped for for an anniversary celebration. The entrees were very expensive, on par with Del Frisco's. The salad came out and it was delicious. I ordered the salmon for my main entree and it tasted very fishy. That could be due to a number of reasons and I won't speculate here... My wife's wagyu steak was very tough and undercooked. Normally, that's not a big deal as it could be sent back to cook a little longer, but we waited for about 10 minutes for someone to check on us so we could make that request. By then, it was too late since it had already started to get cold. The steak was very difficult to cut, unlike most wagyu steaks I've eaten. She ate about 5 bites before calling it quits on the steak. The grilled avocado, on the other hand, was delicious. Overall, this is a nice venue for a nice dinner, but the service has lots of room for improvement and the prices do not match the experience you'd expect when paying these prices.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz •••• 🍒 WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: known steakhouse with locations in Miami and Houston and various other locations as well. 🍒 THE VIBE: upscale country- inside of western renaissance hotel of Fort Worth. 🍒 PRICE: ~$200 for two- pretty pricy but it was a bday dinner! 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Maybe. •••• Overall Rating: 7.5/10 - I recall my friends saying it was probably an off day for this restaurant because they had been here before and said it was phenomenal so I believe them! - The steak was okay, it was good but not great! The truffle fries were actually the star of the show because they used cojita cheese melted on top with aji tartar and pickled chili. This was an elevated fry dish that was worth the money and visit. - Skip the ahi tuna tacos idk why I got them they sounded good but were mediocre. - Octopus anticucho was pretty good! - Overall, restaurant wasn’t bad but I feel like this day it wasn’t worth the money!

Uuummmm... yeah. I'm torn about this place. The salmon was good. My husband had the octopus and said it was good. The sides were "meh." The truffle fries were drowned in truffle butter, which made them soggy and unenjoyable. The Brussel sprouts were also overdone in sauce, which made it unbearable to eat. We had the guacamole and the chicken skewers for apps. The chicken was dry. I would have been happy to have skipped them. The guac was cool, although I'm not sure it was made in-house. Overall... the food definitely wasn't worth the bill. We let the front desk staff know this as well, and we pretty much got a "next time order something different." This was after we told them that we would never come back. Alex, our waiter was LEGIT. Customer service is a dying art, and he is carrying on a tradition of service that is hard to come by these days. Knowledgeable about the menu, gave recommendations, and overall a pleasant disposition. The atmosphere was cool. Nothing special. I wouldn't come here again.

Toro Toro is a Latin American-inspired restaurant offering a range of dishes from empanadas to ceviche and churrasco, all with a fancy twist. The atmosphere is nice, but it’s extremely cold inside, so bring a jacket! I found the food a bit hit-or-miss. The shrimp cocktail was too spicy for me, and the shrimp felt overcooked, but the beet salad was delicious. Overall, it’s a good spot, but I’m not sure I’d go back

The service, the vibe / atmosphere were great the food was lacking.the sweet corn empanada was really good The cusco chicken had great flavor but was very dry( odd combination!!) The pork belly Mac was really disappointing. It was runny and bland The grilled salmon was verry chard, but once I got two the middle there was flavor

I have been excited to experience this restaurant and I am not certain as to what the hype is about. The best part of our $250.00 meal was the corn empanadas. The filet is of poor quality and becomes quickly over cooked since it is served on a piping hot fajita plate. The sharable sides are are average in taste. The Lomo Saltado had far too much ricotta cheese in it for me. The cocktails and appetizers are delicious. I would not recommend for a nice dinner; however a great spot for snacks and drinks. The seating is European style (in close proximity to others) if that bothers you, I would not recommend this restaurant. It did not concern us since we travel to Europe frequently and are used to the dining culture. Would I come here again, yes, but only for cocktails and empanadas. I could have eaten two plates of those.

Great atmosphere with open bar and kitchen. The host was wonderful and super accommodating with our RSVP. The tomahawk tableside service unfortunately, was not what we expected. Not sure why the carving and presentation was done in a messy way (as pictured). It really took away the premium feel of the cut and also our appetites.

*** Review is specifically regarding Xmas Brunch. *** Vibe & Atmosphere The restaurant is located inside of an upscale hotel. The vibe is relaxed. Food * Yellow Tail Tuna Maracuya - onions and pico adorn this item a and give it a little spice that's very delish. * Bison Tiradito - a sauce added a very nice flavor to the meat. * Chipotle Devil Eggs - the addition of chipotle took these over the top with the perfect blend of spices. A piece of bacon on top was the icing on this cake. * Smoke Wagyu Picahna - meat was very tender and grilled to perfection. * Beef Anticuchos - these had a small kick of spice to them. Wonderful! * Marinated Prime Rib - disappointing. Meat was very dry and bland. * Pork Belly Arepas - these had a tiny bit of egg and bacon on top. The bottoms of these were also crispy and flavorful. * Churro French Toast - very sweet and our perception of what French Toast cake should be. * Honey Cheesecake - a little bland, not very sweet. ---------- * Mercado Margarita - the perfect mix of tequila and jalapenos to build a spicy and enjoyable drink. * Merlot Red Wine - the Merlot was identical to a bottle we bought in Napa. A very strong wine flavor dominated the glass. Service Service was in-line with this price point. Our greeter was Alicia and she created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The first waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu selections. He asked the right questions to narrow down a recommendation that turned out to be perfect. Price & Value The meal was advertised at $95/person. While we understand the above-average prices for our drinks, we were disappointed in the food quality and selection, especially at this price point. We were also unaware that gratuity is included, by default, and billed at approximately 28%. Final Verdict Toro Toro might be suitable for dinner, or other non-holiday meals. We'll not return for a holiday meal.

Great atmosphere. Staff was wonderful. It seemed everything was on the spicy side except for the main course. Our fish was dry, and the chicken had no flavor at all. The pork belly in the Mac and cheese was chewy, but the noodles and sauce were good. The mixed drinks were phenomenal. Overall a very mid experience for the price.

The food was okay. For the price point I expected much better. The server didn't clean the table in-between courses so they were just laying new dishes on top of dirty spots on the table. The meat was too charred to really enjoy. The creme brulee tasted like it had just been sitting in the fridge like when you have a crumble that should be crunchy but it's both soft from sitting on the dessert for some time. The server was nice, and the ambience was fine, but overall overpriced for the experience.

Their bottomless brunch was a nightmare smh. You can only get one item at a time until 2:30 however there was only one cook so it took an extended period of time to receive your food. The food was cold and nasty and the service could have been better. I definitely will not be returning. The highlight of this experience was the dj sadly. I hope they get it together soon.

Came here for my anniversary & was sincerely disappointed. Me & my finance got to the restaurant at 7:22 with our reservation set for 7:30. We didn't get seated until 7:45, then took 15 minutes for our waiter to show up, and even longer for us to get water/beverages. The waiter expected us to order our appetizer at the same time as our entrees, then took 20 minutes to get the appetizer, and over 40 minutes to get our entrees, if not more. Our entrees were great, food was good, but service was not. The portions are small, but we knew what we were paying for. Before coming we checked out the menu on the website & saw they had a 10% off coupon if you sign up for the email list. I did this thinking, nice, a little savings will help. We showed the waiter the coupon and he said, "No worries; I got it." Then came back with a physical coupon to sign up for the coupon when I showed him my coupon. We were already running late for our movie thinking 2 hours would be enough time to eat dinner, but apparently not. Also, the bathroom was far, being up an elevator, but the free valet was a huge plus.

Everyone here needs to cheer up!! They have zero personality. Bartenders at the beginning we're awful and almost rude. Hosteess seemed to forget about us. Food had been finished for 5 minutes and table is still not bussed. Overall I would say it's really pretty awful!! We ask for a drink menu, we get it. Ask for salt, we get it then the manager takes the drink menu so we're not ordering another one. Never got offered dessert. All in all I would never come back or recommend it because of the service. Don't waste your time in Fort Worth with this place. Food was good. SERVICE WAS REALLY BAD.

I don’t typically leave reviews—especially negative ones—but I wanted to share feedback in hopes it helps improve future guest experiences. We attended the New Year’s Eve dinner, which was priced at $150 per person for a five-course meal. We have no issue paying that price point when the food and service align with the cost; unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our visit. The preset menu was very heavy on fish and shellfish, with the only meat option being an 8-ounce wagyu. While there’s nothing wrong with seafood, the overall balance of the courses felt limited. The wagyu, oysters, and dessert were decent, but none of the courses truly stood out or felt memorable. My recommendation would be to re-evaluate preset menus in the future to offer more variety, especially at this price level. From a service standpoint, both the bar and restaurant appeared understaffed. Our server asked once if we wanted a drink, but during the two hours we were there, we were never asked again. Our waters were also not refilled, despite requesting refills multiple times. The atmosphere was the strongest part of the experience. The aesthetic and overall vibe were enjoyable and likely the only aspect I would rate at a four-star level. Overall, the quality of both the food and service did not reflect the cost of the experience. I hope this feedback is helpful as you evaluate ways to improve moving forward.

This used to be our spot. The food is still generally good, and while the service can be inconsistent, we kept coming back for the overall experience. Unfortunately, that’s changed recently. I notice when I visit with my husband, the blonde manager is noticeably flirty with him, which feels inappropriate and uncomfortable. I don’t think she realizes we are together 🙄. When I come with my girlfriends she doesn’t try to make her way to the table. It’s disappointing to see management take such a dive, especially at a place we used to really enjoy. I did stop by and get a sandwich the other day without my husband and decided to take to go.

I’ve been to Toro Toro Fort Worth multiple times in the past and have always enjoyed it, which is why this last visit was so disappointing. We booked a Christmas Eve birthday dinner celebration, and despite it not being very busy, the service and food were completely unacceptable. It started with drinks taking an unusually long time to arrive. We then ordered a salmon dish and a medium New York strip, Chicken dinner. The waitress specifically stated the salmon came with mashed potatoes, which it did not. The steak came out rare instead of medium. When we asked for it to be corrected, the kitchen simply put the same steak back on the grill. It came back overcooked, charred, and worse than before. At most high-end steakhouse, the standard is to replace an incorrectly cooked steak—not burn the same one. While the steak was supposedly being fixed, the salmon arrived with only vegetables and no mashed potatoes. When we asked about the missing side, the waitress angrily replied that it was “under the salmon.” We lifted the salmon in front of her, showing there was nothing there. She rolled her eyes and said it was a cauliflower base sauce instead. Rather than acknowledging her mistake or fixing the confusion, she became rude, dismissive, and argumentative, then rolled her eyes & walked away. The manager did bring out the missing side, but it still didn’t make up for how the waitress acted out the entire service of the dinner. The steak came back again—still wrong, overcooked, and charred. At that point, we didn’t even want it anymore. The salmon still did not include what was originally described. The manager did very little to resolve the situation and headache of a dinner, we were still charged full price for a completely ruined birthday dinner . The only apology was an ice cream dessert, which did not make up for the experience. What made this especially disappointing is that this was a birthday celebration on Christmas Eve! and instead of feeling special, it was frustrating and uncomfortable. The waitress never apologized for her attitude or for misinforming the birthday guest about her meal. Her behavior alone ruined the night. I’m honestly sad and disappointed, especially since I’ve had good experiences here before. Unfortunately, this visit was unacceptable and left a very bad impression. Very overpriced for such a bad experience and service you’re better off going to capital grille for the same price and superb customer experience

We were right on time for our reservation, but we're told we needed to wait for a table to cleared. After 15 minutes we went back to the hostess for an update and it was obvious we were forgotten about as they were seating someone else. Food was very expensive but generally good. We told them before booking, upon arrival, and to our server about serious food allergies but they were not respected and allergen containing foods were servedto us multiple times. Will not be back.

Our friend group went this past weekend. We were all very excited to dine here! First it took 45 minutes to an hour for food to arrive. It took our friend’s appetizer so long to arrive, that we all forgot they ordered it. I ordered the chicken and it came out RAW. This was raw on the edges so I can’t even imagine what the middle looked like. I did send it back and I believe I new one was made. They were apologetic but after you take a bite of raw chicken you tend to lose your appetite. The new one returned and the manager had me cut into it. We thought it looked good but as I stated my appetite was gone so I didn’t touch the chicken. We ended up taking it home, because the meal was very expensive to go to waste. My husband reheated the chicken today and it was still raw inside! This was the 2nd one I had gotten that was now raw. On top of my meal my husband’s steak came out bright red and undercooked as well. When the check came, we were surprised to see that the chicken was still on the bill… They did handle it after we spoke to them but we were still surprised. We both have also been sick the last two days since dining here. We were highly disappointed in our visit and will never go back. We understand a mistake but not a mistake like uncooked chicken… not once but twice!

Stopped in for lunch and was very disappointed. The burger was soggy, overly greasy, and unappetizing. The house chips were undercooked and chewy. Service was poor from start to finish—both the greeter and the waiter were inattentive. After waiting 40 minutes without any follow-up, I had to track down my waiter just to get the bill. The poor service is probably due to a short-staffing issue, as both were cordial but clearly overwhelmed.

We visited for a New Year’s Eve fixed menu dinner and, unfortunately, the night was defined by slow service and major breakdowns around allergy communication. The restaurant was not overly busy, which made the pacing and confusion even more disappointing. Before booking, my spouse and I reviewed the menu online and the allergen notes indicated the meal would accommodate my allergy. My husband also noted my allergy when he made the reservation. In the days leading up to dinner, we received multiple communications (by text and through OpenTable), so we felt confident the restaurant had the details. If the kitchen could not accommodate an allergy during a prefixed menu event, that should have been clearly communicated during any of those confirmations so we could have made a different plan. At check-in, the hostess confirmed my allergy and told me dessert was the only item that would not be allergy friendly, and that the team would be notified. We waited about 15 minutes and then had to re-approach the stand. At that point one hostess did not remember we had already checked in. The other hostess recognized us, seated us, and again reassured us she would inform the server about my allergy. Our server came to the table unaware of any allergy. He then gave conflicting information about sauces and ingredients compared to what we had been told at the host stand and what was shown on the menu, which immediately made me uneasy. Either the allergy was not understood, or ingredients had changed without being updated in the menu and allergen notes. Later, I also had to stop a sauce from being drizzled onto my plate because I had been told it was not safe for me. That confirmed the allergy details were not being communicated consistently to the right people, which is not something I can overlook. Food-wise, the meal was mixed. The dirty martini was perfection. The Oyster course was just okay. The Hamachi Crudo and King Crab courses were genuinely good and very flavorful. My spouse said the Chilean Sea Bass was excellent, and my Wagyu Beef Tenderloin was perfectly cooked, even if the smoked plantain accompaniment was not especially memorable. That said, the overall menu felt extremely seafood heavy and not especially balanced. Dessert was the final disappointment. We waited an incredibly long time, and when it finally arrived it still included the ingredient I had been told could be omitted, so I could not eat it at all. (I am not a fan of paying for a course I cannot eat.) My spouse described the dessert as average. It had a fun presentation, but it was more show than substance. Unfortunately, the allergy handling appears to have had real consequences. Within an hour of leaving the restaurant I developed a painful rash up and down my arms. It was an allergic reaction I did not have prior to dinner. Whether this was cross-contamination or inaccurate ingredient communication, it underscores how unsafe and unacceptable the process was. To add insult to injury, gratuity was mandatory, and the overall service level did not come close to matching what we were required to leave. For an expensive fixed menu, the pacing was unforgivably slow, communication was inconsistent, and allergy handling was unsafe. We left the restaurant with serious buyers remorse. I will not be back. An allergy cannot be treated as an afterthought, and neither can service. At this price point, both should be executed flawlessly. If you are staying at the hotel, I would recommend stopping by the bar for a dirty martini, but skipping the restaurant.

Me and my wife ate here last week after having a client meeting because I'd never tried it before and looked interesting. Everything started out kinda decent but we ordered sword fish dip that just seemed off and our chicken was really pink and off but just thought it was pink because it was smoked. Boy was I wrong, shortly after leaving there me and my wife were both extremely sick for 2 days! I even called the restaurant to inform the assistant manager about the situation and he was very nice but I never received a call back and he didn't really seem too concerned. For this location and price point this is completely unacceptable... For the location, price and my specific situation I would stear very clear of this restaurant unless you want to potentially get food poisoning that costs you top dollar...
