Rattattu is our favorite restaurant. When we want to eat good fish cooked with love, just like our mom or grandma would, we go to Rattattu. Our kids love their dishes too, especially the snails! It's hard to find anything this good! My favorite dish is definitely the calamarata! This restaurant takes you back in time and makes you feel right at home. Anna is incredibly kind and always welcomes you with a smile! And their desserts, mmmm, their desserts!!! You have to try them!!! Highly recommended!!
Great place! The food is excellent, the service impeccable and the atmosphere is very homey and warm. Highly recommended if you are in Milan and want to have an authentic sea food experience a bit off the beaten path!
Let's start with the price: for two, we spent €36 (50% off with The Fork on food, not drinks). Otherwise, it would have been around €62 for two starters, a main course, wine, and water. The seafood linguine was delicious and plentiful, the black ravioli were delicious, and the fritto misto was excellent. The place was welcoming, and the lady serving us was very friendly and helpful. We also had a lovely appetizer, a bruschetta with octopus, which was delicious. Well done! Highly recommended, especially with The Fork's discount.
We found this restaurant.... Seafood trattoria... Via the fork..... But regardless.... A delightful, old-fashioned family-run place, not chaotic, the portions are more than right, the flavors exceptionally tasty, home-made but fun cuisine, the service 🔝.... The bill, the fork aside, excellent, is absolutely worth it for what happens from the moment you sit at the table to when you get up to leave...... In short, one to return to ❤️💯🍾
This small restaurant, located in the municipality of Gaggiano, specifically in the hamlet of San Vito, was discovered via TheFork. The owner's kindness immediately puts you at ease in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her willingness to adapt the menu to the tastes and intolerances of some of the guests is commendable, with courtesy and always a smile. The dishes are truly excellent and balanced, both in flavor and quantity. The bill is negligible for the quality and service provided. Highly recommended.
A restaurant almost unchanged since it opened, a style that still appeals: cozy, intimate, warm, and welcoming. In some ways, because of the colors, the burning stove, whose flame illuminated the faces of the things nearby, I had the impression of being in a mountain restaurant, the kind you go to in the evening after a day on the slopes. A welcome that already showed the owner's friendliness, and given my initial confidence, she immediately proved capable of creating an empathetic relationship. The entire service was preceded by an amuse bouche with polenta and seafood sauce, followed by the dishes we ordered. Everything was truly delicious; try the ceppe with artichokes, shrimp, and chestnuts. A truly pleasant dinner, with good food and quality ingredients. Everything was very good 👍🏽
Excellent fried fish, fresh and very tender. The first courses are very good and flavorful; the only suggestion is to slightly increase the amount of pasta. I recommend the pasta with fish, artichokes, and chestnuts. The veranda is lovely and romantic. Excellent service! Price is around €35 per person, excellent considering that everything is fresh (booking with TheFork gives you a 30 percent discount).
A restaurant nestled in the village of San Vito a Gaggiano, hidden in the Lombardy countryside. A warm welcome, they immediately put you at ease, kind and friendly. A delicious appetizer of creamed cod and raw sea bass with a wonderful sauce. For the main course, an excellent and generous grilled meat and a lovely plate of baked monkfish. The tiramisu was excellent. The quality of the products was high. We'll definitely be back to try the first courses.
Great sea food and reasonable price. The service was friendly and fast. Some of our party complained of being cold but the fireplace in the corner of the room was good enough for me.
The best seafood in town!
I had frequented this restaurant years ago under the previous management. The place has become a bit dated, but the quality of the ingredients and the freshness of the fish are always excellent. We had seafood pasta, pasta with clams, and ravioli filled with fish, mixed fried fish, and turbot with vegetables—all very good. I would suggest heating the veranda a little more in the winter because, despite the pellet stoves, the diners at my table were cold. Prices are average.
A discreet retro restaurant specializing in seafood. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're back in the '70s, perhaps early '80s—like the TV series Magnum P.I. You'll be led by the friendly waitress through corridors and small rooms divided by red drapes, until you reach the main dining room, with glass on two sides and plenty of wood, both in the low ceiling and the generously sized window frames. If you get past, or enjoy, the dated ambiance, you'll discover the simple and friendly service, the good quality of the food, and the fair prices. Not bad.
