I had a wonderful experience at this venue, where I celebrated my birthday. The drinks were excellent and everyone enjoyed them. The atmosphere was convivial and relaxing, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Ho provato questo locale sia per un drink che per l’apericena buffet. In entrambi i casi mi sono trovata molto bene. Anche il servizio è molto buono. Il locale è spazioso e offre molti posti sia fuori che dentro. A mio parere però la musica dentro è troppo alta. Sicuramente c’è a chi piace, ma potrebbe risultare fastidiosa per chi vuole fare una chiacchierata e passare una serata tranquilla

I hadn't been there in at least seven years, and it's still a vibrant bar. The waitresses are friendly and ready to accommodate your every request, within the bounds of decency, of course. Excellent aperitifs and an excellent buffet service.

I occasionally return for aperitivo; the outdoor area is large and very pleasant. In the evening, with a drink or pint, they also serve some appetizers, though nothing exceptional, mostly mini pizzas, peanuts, and chips. There's a wide selection of gins and whiskies. Average prices: €8 for a spritz or a drink, €3 for a small beer, or €6 for a pint including an aperitivo.

Good value and service in nice surroundings

Non male l'apericena anche se ultimamente il prezzo è leggermente lievitato. Dovrebbero migliorare la qualità del cibo perché per la maggior parte sono sfizioserie rustiche congelate.

Fast and helpful service. Friendly and welcoming staff. A 200ml Coke is €4. A mandatory drink is required for everyone at the table. Prices are decidedly high for a place that falls short of mediocre. You can go to other equally comfortable and welcoming places and pay half the price.

The please is old stole '80 but the quality of cocktail are very good. Specially if you like Americano they have with different tastes.

Sono andato una volta tempo fa', dopo aver preso 2 birre una coca cola per il bambino in un secondo momento visto che non avevano portato niente da stuzzicare avevo chiesto 2 patatine almeno per il bambino me le hanno portate il problema che quella misera ciotola me l' hanno fatto pure pagare 😓. Vi ho già detto tutto e se non sbaglio mi avevano fatto pagare anche un bicchiere d ' acqua di quelli Piccoli 🫥 non so come si fa' a rispondere cmq , avevo pagato 50 cent in più per le patatine e 50 cent un bicchiere d ' acqua

La qualità si nota dalle piccole cose. In questo locale non sanno nemmeno fare un semplice caffè. Ogni anno il Chatwin si conferma essere l'ultimo locale in cui andare se tutti gli altri di Gallarate sono pieni o chiusi. Imbarazzante.

per niente gentili mi sono sentito offeso, nel 2025 non si può chillare al bar con l’acqua insieme ai cari amici, pessimo servizio non si può neanche stare nei tavoli assieme. SCONSIGLIATO!!!!!🤬🤬

Personale scortese (la ragazza in particolare) al momento del conto non ci ha dato la possibilità di fare i conti separati; legalmente la richiesta di questo servizio deve essere esplicitata ANCHE a voce al cliente. Dunque siamo stati obbligati a pagare un conto unico, per di più lo scontrino è stato presentato solo a seguito di una nostra richiesta. Pessima esperienza!!!

Tavolo prenotato per compleanno, nonostante le consumazioni ed il locale praticamente vuoto mandano via mia figlia e le 10 amiche universitarie perché sono in troppe e hanno bisogno di spazio. Sconsigliero a tutti i miei conoscenti. Grandissimi maleducati

If you're looking for a place to freeze outside, drink beer full of flies, and then be kicked out after less than an hour because "the table was reserved" (which obviously no one bothered to mention beforehand), then congratulations, you've found the perfect place. An experience that can only be described as unpleasant: poorly organized, rude, and without a shred of customer service. They seat you outside as if they're doing you a favor, and then send you away as if you were the intruder. In short: cold, flies, and zero respect. The perfect trio to ruin your evening. Never again.
