Amazing food! I ordered the Meat Me pizza which was so good and had plenty of leftovers. I also ordered two sides, the squash and cheese casserole was PHENOMENAL and the famous mac and cheese was some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend their food! I ordered on door dash so I can't say anything about the interior or the service, but if it's anything like the quality of the food it must be excellent!
Enjoyed a work meeting with a colleague here. It was my first visit, but he's a regular. He had steak and eggs while I had sausage gravy over a biscuit. Mine tasted great, and his was cooked very, very nicely.
Loca Luna, our absolute favorite go to place to celebrate our anniversary! We sat at the bar and Clint was the bartender and man did he make some great margaritas and other drinks! He took really great care of us and the food was exceptional as always! Thanks to Clint and Loca Luna for making our anniversary wonderful! Can't wait until the next time!
Went here for Mother’s Day. It was very busy and crowded but that didn’t affect our service which was great! The food was very good and everyone in our party loved what they ordered. I LOVED the potatoes that came with my meal! Our waiter was fantastic and kept our water glasses full. We definitely will be going back here.
Went for brunch and we got seated right away. It was a pleasant atmosphere. Great stuff to look at all around in there. We were greeted immediately by Clint our server. We asked what was his favorite things on the menu for breakfast and let’s just say his recommendation did NOT disappoint! We started off with mimosas and he came by and told us about the place and the background of the owner. He also made hilarious jokes and made us feel very welcome! At this point we didn’t even care if the food was bad. Then he showed up with a huge brick oven breakfast pizza. This was killer! It had eggs, mixed artisan cheeses, bacon, sausage, purple onions, red bell peppers, gravy as the sauce, and some seasonings. Just WOW 🤩 we actually felt like we were on a date! Our server was very attentive and did not disappoint on the food. I will give this place a 10/10. 🫰🏻 We want to say thank you for making us feel special. *Reason why are bill was a little higher is because we tipped $25. The total meal with 4 mimosas and pizza was $60. The mimosas are worth the $9 and the pizza was $19. It was perfect for sharing between two of us and having some leftover!*
Went for brunch with the family and we really enjoyed ourselves. Waiter was top notch, food was delicious, and my wife and I enjoyed the vibe. What really made our trip, was our waiter offered our daughter sliced strawberries as well as a toy to keep her entertained. We've never encountered that kind of service and it made our meal all the better.
LOVE IT! Amazing service with good wine selection. Our roasted potatoes came out cold and was replaced immediately with no questions asked. The crab cakes were soft and moist and the sauce was excellent. The salmon had a cranberry glaze on top that was delicious, I mean seriously never thought it would pair but it does. Stew potatoes were the amazing. For a date night we spent right about a hundred dollar with tip.
This was our first visit to Loca Luna. We started off at the Red Door but the wait was crazy long so we walked next door. I'm so glad we did! My husband had the chicken fried chicken and I had the Spanish casserole. The food was delicious and the service great! The charro beans needed a little salt, but otherwise wonderful. The roasted potatoes were melt in your mouth deliciousness. We'll definitely be back to try more menu items. Update: Today I tried the cornbread with shrimp and crawfish etouffee. Excellent!!! I added a picture.
We came in with 15 people for my friends birthday. Sarah was our server, and Sarah's attitude couldnt have been worse. When we first walked in you could tell she was annoyed at life. Anything we said or asked her annoyed her and it showed tremendously. We gave her chance after chance trying to make her laugh or joke and she literally just stared at us basically rolled her eyes, and left the table. Barry the manager on the other hand was absolutely amazing!!!! He made our experience great. It was a breathe of fresh air after having to deal with Sarah. He made jokes with us, joked with the kids, talked to us and made us feel welcomed. I'm a server at a fine dining restaurant and I would NEVER treat my guests how Sarah treated us. I took Barry a piece of birthday cake afterwards because he was the best! To conclude, The food was AMAZING! I would just reevaluate having Sarah as a server there, bc next time we make reservations we will request to not have her as our server.
Went there fir a business dinner. Booked the back room. The chairs could have been better (only reason not a 5 star rating, also the chairs in the main dining area is great, just the private room), but the food was absolutely fantastic. HIGHLY recommend it.
Loca Luna is one of our go to spots for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday. The vibe is always cool and there is an air of excitement about the place. The food is great most of the time. I have had a few misses. One visit three of us in a table of eight order the chicken tenders for brunch. They all came out over cooked and hard and chewy. However, we brought this to the attention of the waiter and they cooked us some more with no problem, and no extra charge. They made us feel welcome, and that our business is appreciated. The price is reasonable and affordable. I will continue to go back again and again.
First time coming her for brunch, the food was yummy! My only complaint is it wasn’t very hot. Seems to me the cast iron they bring a lot of the food out on, wasn’t heated up enough so didn’t help keep the food warm. I got the Mexican casserole. Only a few options for brunch cocktails, wish there was more variety. We had a party of 8 and service was pretty slow towards the end as the restaurant got busier. It took a long time for my friend to get her drink as well. Others got their drinks so I think the server may have forgot. Overall a decent brunch spot if you’re not too picky. I’d come back and try it again!
Stuffed grouper was great, the crab toppings were delicious! Kids pasta had a tasty marinara sauce. Loved the capers in both dishes and how paper was the table cloth, really entertaining for kids to draw. Hostess was fantastic at seating us and bringing color pencils. Do have to say pepperoni pizza was flaccid and way too salty. However, after living in LR for a year now, seems like this is pretty standard for pizza here. Good service and atmosphere.
I've been here several times throughout the years. I've had dinner, brunch, lunch, you name it. And I always have the same thought......it's fine, but over rated. I feel like this is one of those places that has become an institution in Little Rock and it's trendy. Everything I've gotten there is ok, but I've never been wowed by a single dish and I've tried a variety of things. It's ok, but I've never been able to see what the big deal is. Also, I feel like no matter the time of day, service is slow. It's always an issue and I have no idea why they've not been able to improve service after being open all these years.
Unfortunately, I have to feel that Luna’s has taken a step backwards of recent. Service was slower than the number of seated tables. Some food items were great while others were just fine. For example the bacon green beans were bland and the brownie was dry but the chicken fried steak itself was great. Luna isn’t in the top 10 of my restaurants anymore. Fingers crossed it will be again.
I'm open to giving it a second go and ordering pizza or something else, but the items we ordered this time around were disappointing. About a 5-8min wait for a table Friday night, which is not bad at all. Nice drink list, good service, and a fun atmosphere. The top shelf margarita was average, not sure I'd get it again. We had the chicken fried steak and the stuffed grouper, sides were squash-cheese casserole and the saffron rice (no picture). The gravy for the chicken fried steak tasted like straight flour. The steak itself was ok but small, not reminiscent of the giant plate sized chicken fried steak that is common in the south. The grouper lacked salt and seasoning. The crab stuffing, which was actually a topping, didn't really add much to the dish. The saffron rice tasted like it was a day or two old, and again lacked seasoning. For $20-30 per person, I expected more. Will update review if I try it again.
Well, to be honest I ordered the Lobster Crab 🦀 Bisque and upon tasting my first spoonful it was literally COLD AS ICE! I was so uncomfortable with it I asked my hubby to sample and he agreed. So please... don't order the Lobster Crab 🦀 Bisque...TERRIBLE! Everyone else's food was GREAT 👍
Came with a party of about 17 for a birthday, every single person had a significant complaint about their food. The service aside from that was great, they got refills quick. Took forever to get food. Several folks who ordered different types of steak all got very very rare steak. I myself got the spicy version of their fried chicken sandwich, and earnestly, you could find one with more flavor for a 5th of the price at Chick-fil-A. Everything was significantly expensive and the quality DID NOT match the pricing. Really regret spending money here, will not be back.
I met my daughter here for lunch today. Loca Luna has always been one of our favorites but the last two times have been beyond disappointing. After today we probably won’t be back anytime soon, if ever. We arrived at 11:33. It was nearly empty. I believe 3 tables seated inside and maybe 2 outside. We ordered a large salad with no meat, and a chicken fried chicken plate with gravy with a side salad, roasted potatoes and greens. At 12:15, we asked our waiter to check on our food. He came to our table 3 (three!) times saying “it’s coming right out”. We asked it just be boxed to go. The third time, at 12:30, I mentioned the table across from us (table of 4!) that came in AFTER WE ORDERED had gotten their food and were eating. We said forget the food just bring us our check for the tea and side salad. The hostess brought the check, followed by our waiter with boxed food to go. We paid and left. The salad had 3 strips of chicken on top (refer above to our order, no meat!). When I got home, I had the bowl of greens and opened the other to go box to find what’s pictured here. 2 pieces of chicken. Where’s the rest of the order? No roll, no potatoes, no gravy. So, an hour of waiting (during our lunch hour, mind you), and we didn’t even get to eat our lunch together nor was the order even correct. I don’t know who dropped the ball on our table service today but it was a complete disappointed.
