First time I've been to a Griffs. The lobby was cleaner than expected but the bathrooms were pretty bad. Food was on the same quality as braums

We always get the double giant cheeseburger and they've always been consistent. The patty is never pink/underdone and fresh ingredients are always used. Drive thru service is very quick during the day esp @ lunch time. At night before closing, service slows down a bit and it may take some time to get your food, I've also noticed that the patties don't have that fresh-off-the-grill quality to them at night...maybe they turned off the grill and are just getting rid of their last batch of patties for the night.

The smell when you walk in yhe door spells awesomeness! Food was ready in 3 minutes. Very hot and tasty. Reminds my of the old drive in days back in the 70s. Fantastic taste on the triple giant cheeseburger! Perfection on taste, appearance and assembly! So good! Fries and a huge coke are a plus! Located just off Jupiter Avenue. Easy in, easy out! Being from Chicago, this just became part of my yearly trek to Garland area!

I haven't had a Griff's hamburger since I was a little boy, and I'm nearly 50 years old now. You're welcome to do the math on that one! My late father proudly introduced them to me many years ago when we lived in Washington, D. C., Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia. God rest his soul. But, anyway, on with the review! I've been seeing Griff's Hamburger Joints in and around the Greater DFW Metroland Area since we moved here from Kentucky a year ago. My Wife and I had the opportunity to stop in yesterday afternoon while we were out on New Year's Eve errands. And it was fantastic! Just like I always remembered from childhood on. The food was hot and fresh and was served neat and clean in excellent packaging. And well worth the money! Andrea waited on us in the drive-thru area and did a great job on customer service in a clean and comfy environment between the drive-thru lane and the drive-thru window. My Wife had never had a Griff's hamburger before, and she thoroughly enjoyed it and the onion rings we got with our hamburgers, too! We will be back and we highly recommend y'all see um at Griff's Hamburgers on North Jupiter Rd. In the DFW!! EAT UP, YUM 😋 😜 😍

Griff's is one of a very few burger joints that still make an amazing old fashioned cheese burger tastes like it did when I was a child. I'm a Grifter for life , if you haven't tried it yet your in for a great tasting experience.

I needed a quick lunch before the start of my shift. Ordered the #2 meal and everything tasted great. I could tell the fries were fresh out of the fryer so that was amazing! Affordable meal, too!

Well, well, well! I have passed this place a few times and never stopped. I went to school in San Marcos and wondered if this was associated w the restaurant of the same name. Find out it was. I ate there today and wow! What a great burger! Just as I remembered. Think Whataburger - but BETTER and less expensive. Even their Coke was perfect and fizzy. Griff's, I will be back! They must have overhauled this place since my last review because I went recently & my experience was 10 times better than it was about a year or so ago. The workers were actually working & not goofing off (I don't think any of the old staff was there so maybe they cleaned house?). The workers I did encounter were polite & professional. I believe this nice woman was a manager, but my mom had her fries already & I got mine after her so mine were from the fresh batch. This kind woman gave my mom a set of fries from the new batch and let her keep the ones she already had! We were hesitant about going in the past due to the multiple issues, but not anymore. Hopefully we'll continue to have good experiences in the future because the food is great when the staff is focused on their jobs! So glad they overhauled this place now we can come back & enjoy the food again!

This place often has a long wait, but it's definitely worth it. Plus they have root beer, which is fantastic. They have really soft bread and the hamburger patties have the best flavor of any fast food place around. The fries are amazing too.

More of an industrial side of town but don't let that fool you. Hamburgers are made fresh off the grill. It's that good hangover type burger where grease juices are dripping down from your mouth!

If you've never been to Griff's or had a Griff's burger, you gotta go! Their burgers are a little pricey compared to other fast food spots, but they're SOOOO good and well worth the money! I just went to Griff's recently, and I was very happy to see that they now also serve Jr. Griff's Burgers! These are basically slightly smaller Griff's Burgers that are much more affordable. The only real downside to Griff's is that they don't have as many locations as similar fast restaurants.

It was my first time trying this fast burger chain, and it definitely did not disappoint. I had no clue it was here this whole time—and I’ve been living in Garland for 20 years. If you’re ever around the North Garland area on Jupiter, I highly recommend this spot. I didn’t go inside this time, but I plan to in the future. My drive-through experience was smooth and easy: no long waits, straight to the point. The bag was simple and humble, and the burger wrapping had that old-school feel to it. Hands down, this is now in my top five burger chains in Dallas.

When you walk in the atmosphere is poppin with a modern look/feel.... TVs and oldies playing....We were jammin to Jody Whaley's New Love! Ozzie was wiping down tables and working hard to assure the facility stays crisp and kleen! He also attends UTI College in Dallas taking up wielding....if y'all see him pls TIP him! As you get to the counter you will hopefully meet Jennifer who will take your order and her knowledge of the menu is amazing! We ordered our traditional #2 and #7, since our college days we remembered what was called "The Sack Lunch" for $5.00. I attempted to explain this to the African American woman with the RED workshirt working drive thru but she literally was either tired or had something more pressing on her mind to engage with me. (She could be a little bit more friendly). But despite her issue, we appreciate her willingness to come to work and wish her much success! Behind her at drive thru was an African American young lady, high school age with a cast on her left forearm/hand....she was giddy as I'm not sure what her counter part said to her to have her laughing as much. At any rate, I then engaged with the Managers named Abby and Ebony who were very friendly and welcoming with big smiles on their faces just like we remembered when visiting Griffs off the campus of Louisiana Tech University. They were running their shift very organized with major customer engagement. (This is the sauce that keeps us coming back) We lastly have to give a shout out to the chef (he has on a tan shirt in one of the photos) because he can cook very well! All the ingredients were fresh, cooked well, tasty and hot!! We highly suggest you visit this location and enjoy the delicious food and drinks they prepare in a wholesome atmosphere. They were unaware that I am a VIRAL Google reviewer and my views have topped 350,000!! Thank you Google community, 🪭 and friends; you make this all possible! ❤️🙏🏾💯🔥🔥🍔🍟🥤

A decent burger. I got the Monster meal deal and was pleasantly surprised that they use the old-style larger buns so when you pick up the burger you really do need two hands. Hot and salty fries and a shake so thick my face turned inside-out when I sucked on the straw. All for about 10 bucks. Not bad at all.

Service was ok. Food was good. I asked for crispy bacon & got it!!!! Everything was good. The French fries could have been cooked a little longer but ok.

Griff’s is one of my favorite burger places! Every time I drive to Richardson or Garland, I stop to get a burger! Their burgers are always hot and fresh. If you like authentic burgers then try Griff’s! The Fries and onions are good too.

I’ve only eaten at Griff’s a total of 3 times. Twice at the Mesquite location & once here at the Garland location. The burger was good here but better in Mesquite. But in all fairness I had grilled onion this visit & they used way too many which I believe ruined my burger by making it soggy. Next time I will stick with raw onions instead. Definitely recommend this place over any other fast food burger chain. The food is always fresh & more reasonably priced. A double cheeseburger combo for $9.99 plus tax is unheard of in this day & age. Will definitely be coming back.

I was looking for a place to eat on Google Maps when I saw that there was a Griff's nearby. When I was young we use to go to the Griff's in San Antonio on Pleasanton Rd. We would go there as a family. The prices were good and the hamburgers were awesome. The buns always had such a wonderful flavor. We could buy five burgers for a dollar. They had a contest which consisted of eating 3 giant burgers. If you could complete the challenge, you would have your name placed on a list displayed in the store. My brother made that list. It was nostalgic today as I sat in Griff's eating a burger and fries. The hamburger was good as were the french fries comparatively to my memory. The drinks were behind the counter, so I don't think we could get free refills.

Waited for 3 minutes for anyone to respond on the intercom. Ordering was easy nice friendly voice. Received my order after waiting for about 3 to 5 minutes only to receive cold fries and a cold Burger. When I return instantly to request hot food, the cashier went from cleaning the lobby to ask him to cook to prepare my burger over without washing her hands. The cook ask her a couple of questions in Spanish on why I was returning to order and she replied in Spanish very audible conversation. However I did receive hot food still with them being very friendly and customer-oriented.

Burger was really soggy and my strawberry shake was 99% ice cream and 1% milk. I also waited like 20 minutes at the drive thru only to have a different person try to give me somebody else's order but I told them I was waiting for my strawberry shake and the other guy who gave me my food had it in his hand the whole time.

We tried to call in an order over the phone, the lady said they didn't have any customers and we could come in to order and it would take no time, refusing to take the order ahead of time. When we arrived the parking lot had several cars parked and guests in the restaurant as well as several cars in the drive thru. We waited in line for a long time before anyone even came to take our payment, the young man taking our order seemed a little stressed but seemed to have the order correct until what I guess is the evening manager who we spoke to on the phone came over to argue with the gentleman about our order (that he had right, she was giving us the wrong order) but never spoke to us directly. The woman kept insisting he needed to make sure people were getting what they ordered, and that it was "holding up her drive thru." The young man apologized to us and gave us the order only to get home and realize they missed part of the order.

It takes 20 minutes to get two burgers. 5 people walking around aimlessly, one of them standing at the counter just swinging a washrag around his hand and then they say we need to get you to go park around the front. I ask what the hold up is they say, the lady comes from the back yells we are waiting on fresh meat. Why that is not ready is beyond me. 3 is being generous.

The food has been recommended to be but unfortunately was pretty lackluster. The burger tasted identical to a sonic burger. The fries were nice and hot, but nothing special. The onion rings were delicious. It's an alright burger, all things considered.

I arrived at 1130 for my lunch break and to be fair there were 7 people in line in front of me. Even so it took 10 minutes just to be able.to place my order and almost another 10 minutes to get my food. Most of my lunch break was gone already. I got the double cheeseburger combo for just shy of 11 dollars which is a pretty good price these days. The portions were generous and the burger was good. Fresh veggies and nice thick beef patties. French fries were very bland. Overall I'm a little disappointed but could be convinced to try this place again some other time.

Walking in the restaurant was clean. The cashier had a Satin sleep cap on, not exactly a hair net. I do appreciate that she was friendly and honest in menu recommendations. Professionalism needs improvement. You don't want the face of the company that's serving the incoming community to not look their best. Food was ok, nothing I would brag on. My husband recommended this place as a fond memory from his childhood.

I can see why they are hiring, the lady that was training the girl at the window was rude. Yelling at the trainee, who would want to work in that environment? Then as she was closing the window I heard her yell "Holding up my line" literally no one was behind me

If you have the chance don’t waste your time. Go to the original location the food is more fresh/hot and the store is more cleaner.

I was recommended by a friend. The food is good if they get it correct. I ordered for my family to go. When I got home my order was not correct and my wife's food was wrong and my burger was missing all together. I wont be returning to griffs again. I lost probably 15 dollars in incorrect/missing food. It could be my fault for trusting them and not verifying though

23 minute wait from the time my ticket was printed to getting my 1 burger and steak fingers... Burger order was simple, mustard and BBQ no ketchup. Monday through Thursday they close the dining room at 9pm. Don’t be deceived with their false advertising of times on their door. They do not stay open in the dining room at 10pm or 11pm. They close at 9pm , all these new kids are slackers want to go home early and not work a dime to clean and stay for another hour after normal closing. They want to leave on time. Change your time to 9pm then so I don’t waste my time on google.

Went to Griff’s today and ordered two #1’s and a #2 with onion rings. The meat on the burgers was over cooked, the edges burnt, and here are my onion rings. All stuck together and not fully cooked. The person taking my order could not get it right (and it was a simple order) and the chick at the window basically threw the food at me. Seems like a bunch of kids working today and the food was terrible. It’s normally great. I love Griff’s. Today, not so much. Very disappointed… and still hungry.

I don't know why, but for some reason we cannot ever get what we order from this location. We got three combos yesterday. My husband told the kid taking the order, three times, that he wanted bacon on all three of the burgers. We didn't get any bacon at all. Now, they didn't charge us for the bacon, but that's not the point. My husband told the kid three times, because the last time we went there we ordered seven combos, with bacon, and only got bacon on three of them, and we were charged for all of the bacon. The time before that, we ordered five combos, with bacon, and that is what we were charged for. Yet, somehow, we only got 4 combos with bacon. My husband let everyone else have the meals, while he ate a sandwich, because he was too tired to go back up there. We haven't gone there very often, and this is exactly why. Unfortunately Griff's, three strikes and you're out. We won't be going there at all after this, nor can I, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone.

The women taking the order were rude which should have just made me leave, but I ordered the mushroom meltdown with a Dr Pepper, and onion rings. Onion rings were good. The burger was not. It was absolutely drenched and soggy and the paper was sticking to the burger and just made it difficult to eat... I will never go to this location again. I have been to this place in the last two weeks at least twice. Today was the worst horrible service I ever had. I went through the drive-through, was very specific with my order and the young people that they have working here are very unpleasant. I don’t know if it’s the parents or management but these kids need to do better. After explaining to them they still got my order wrong when I asked a question and let them know what they did wrong all the kid did was shake his head and wave the receipt in my face. I asked to speak to a manager She rectified the issue and then I told her that they need to train them how to speak with the customers. When I called The manager supposedly hung up the phone by accident I called again it was off the hook she never help me about the fries that was very soggy. Horrible service will never go back.

Came into Griffs yesterday morning, woman taking my order was absolutely nice and the manager in charge was yelling at the employees and you could tell it was making people uncomfortable, hamburgers are undercooked and fries as well place has went down hill over the past few months, it’s constantly dirty and has bugs everywhere. Finally had to argue with an unruly and disrespectful manager to get a refund of my money. I have been a faithful Griffs customer my whole life and I guarantee after this experience I will never return to 2150 Jupiter Rd, Garland Tx

Ordered here multiple times, each time they have messed up either part or the entire order. There is also an unnecessarily long wait time to get the food after ordering. Ive also had 2 instances of ordering meals inside and the staff forgot about it and didn't even make the food until I asked what was going on.

Do not speak to the manager that works during the day, she will yell at you and curse at you. I ordered 12 burgers and 12 fries 11:16 am. @ 11:37, I walked back to the front and asked if she knew how much longer the order was going to take cause I needed to get back to work. The manager wasn’t even the lady I was speaking with, she came yelling that these burgers are cooked to order. I said I understand that but I’m trying to find out how long. She wouldn’t even let me speak and just kept yelling like I did something to her. I literally asked a question no attitude or anything, please please pull your camera footage and look at how she is treating your paying customers. We order at least $100 every week and I can provide receipts for it, we haven’t experienced such. Horrible attitude before but now I will be taking our company business elsewhere that appreciates our business. Please pull that camera footage and look for yourself.

Never ever go back there again. Walked in, ordered regular burger with everything, Mayo,no cheese. And a regular cheeseburger 2 small fries. Screwed up both orders. And I drove 20 minutes to get there. O Stars for this one. 🤬🤬🤬

While I was waiting for my order I noticed one of the workers being unsanitary. It’s fast food, I get it, but come on! On top of that she was yelling and being loud every which way, and in my opinion seems rather unprofessional. I continued to observe and heard several very rude remarks come out of her mouth to her fellow coworkers! You don’t have to like everyone, but show some basic respect. While being rude she was being passive aggressive for it, and I’m honestly shocked nobody said anything!

We ordered like, 4 different combos, only one of em was done correctly. One of us asked for a cheeseburger with everything but pickles, we ended up getting a burger with just the patty and cheese. The other was supposed to have everything but ketchup, they gave us ketchup, pickles and a patty, not even a single slice of cheese. One of the others had only mustard and a patty for some reason?? No mayo or nothing just mustard. The last one was fine. We also asked for 2 regular fries and 2 onion rings, we got 3 onion rings and 1 reg um at fry, honestly that isn’t even that bad to be upset over. What bothered me is the fact that only one cheeseburger came out correctly. Also the lady at the drive thru couldn’t understand what we were saying, we had to keep repeating our order over and over again. It was getting really annoying. I used to work in fast food so I didn’t think too much of it til we got the cheeseburgers.

Learn How To Do Your Job Correctly So Griff’s Lovers Can Actually Enjoy Their Burger. I Couldn’t Eat Two Bites It Tasted Disgusting. I Hope To Hear Back From Management About This. Spent 11 Dollars Just To Throw Away My Food. Beware Going To This Location At Night.
