One of the better buffets in the Finger Lakes area. We prefer this place over others. Food is typically fresh, hot, and decently tasty. Like every other Chinese restaurant, the bathroom is a thing of nightmares.

They always have great food on deck and prices are reasonable for lunchtime. They treat you like family while you dine. A plus is you can get your own sodas instead of waiting for a waitress/waiter to get to you. They do have a hot round griddle if you want freshly cooked food in front of you.

The food is Amazing But the Food is So good I when I went there omg I ate 2-3 plates because it was way too good and the Service was So kind I asked for some chopsticks and they Got me Chopsticks! 5 star!

I never quite liked this place. My wife loves it. After they got rid of the soft serve ice cream I was really disappointed. Recently I have come to love the selection. I love the selection of chicken they have, I usually grab some of each. The fried fish they have too is great. They do still have ice cream, it's scoop your own.

A great dinner! It was a little pricey, but it was all you can eat. There was lots of options in a wide variety of areas. All the food was hot and fresh. Gloves were provided and extensive cleaning was going on throughout our whole stop. There even was a section that you could build your own dish to be cooked for you, and Hershey's ice cream. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my last lunch at Ling Ling's. The fish, the fried food, the chicken, were all excellent. Years ago they were struggling quality wise but they've made the necessary improvements to serve tasty food at a good temperature. The coffee wasn't my favorite and I prefer sushi elsewhere, but the main buffet had so many great items, I left stuffed. So they've earned my upgrade to 5 stars!

Kid friendly everything tested pretty good besides the pizza. Need to work on the sushi selection. Otherwise is pretty good !

My family of 11 came in on Saturday for lunch. Food was good everything tasted great, the server was nice was prompt when taking our plates, asked if everything was ok. Overall very great we will definitely be coming back.

My kids and I love Ling Ling! I’ve been going there since 2005 and still love it. My kids love the wide range of foods and the sushi and even the American food options-mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, French fries and pizza. I love the Mongolian wok area where you can create your own stir fry with whatever options you want!

Took two buffet meals to go, and loaded up. Its done by weight. For 35.00 i got enough to feed an army. Everything was abosolutely delicious. Was stocked nicely and high quality food. It seems like they possibly have a new chef, because its never beem sooppp good.

Very good Chinese buffet. They play more western culture music which is interesting, and the service is pretty quick. There is one younger man who seats and takes care of plates who is very friendly and good with our little girl which is a pleasant surpise as at most Chinese buffets the staff aren't neccessarily the most friendly. We only go there at prime time as I just don't trust buffet foods at off-times (usually will sit out a while). So far the food has always been fresh and delicious and hasn't caused any GI issues. Always love coming to this place and getting a couple plates.

There is something for every one, I have four kids from 8 to 16 and they are all very picky eaters. We have family safe meals (everyone likes it there is no complaining) This is our family safe restaurant. Good food, good company.

When my mother and I arrived we both had to use the restroom and for the first time ever since eating there the bathroom was actually CLEAN. More then likely its cause of the virus going around that its truly clean and please keep it clean. And as I personally was getting my food EMS came in with a stretcher and took a man out no idea why since they didn't come in with full PPE grab so hopefully not virus related and I hope the person ended up getting better.

Ling Ling's is a nice choice for a very occasional visit. The dinner buffet is quite expensive and we never come close to eating enough to make it feel justified. It could be possible to eat vegan at the buffet, but I have a hard time mentally justifying that in my mind too. The restaurant does offer a menu for take out, I'm not sure if it offers vegan options for eating in-house. Again, a fair choice for an occasional treat.

It's been a while since I've been here. I felt like the buffet has changed a bit. It was good, but it feels like it's smaller or has different food choices.

We have been there many times. This is a good place to go. Food on the buffet is fresh. They do a nice job of keeping it stocked,warm,and clean. The staff does not seem to be at all happy.

For being a Chinese Buffet, this place was pretty good. Keep that in mind when reading. Went in for lunch on a Friday, cost $14. Food was fresh as they brought out fresh food even when I was there. Nothing I had showed signs of sitting out for a long time, nothing was dry or "crunchy" that wasn't supposed to be. Food had pretty good flavor, went with the basic American staples for Chinese food (Sesame Chicken, lo mein, white rice was in a steamer, beef/chicken broccoli. Also tried some of their specialities and they were good too. Did not try any of the seafood as I do not make that common practice at any buffet. The chicken wings were very good, i would get those on their own for a football game. Lots of desert options including self serve ice cream. Service was quick and prompt plates and silverware were clean and hot too, showing they were fresh from dishwasher. Everything is self serve, just come on and eat. Only ding would be the atmosphere, as it was clean but extremely outdated and worn. Overall, good place, would go back.

This was a good Buffet. The price was bad. I think it was about $8. The food was hot and fresh I was pleased with what they had for items on the buffet. It wasn't crowded and the servers didn't constantly bother you it is fill up your own drink. They had very good variety of atoms to choose from.

For all you can eat it is very pleasant, I found out what I liked and kept going back for more and waited till fresh food came out again and went back for more. 22 dollars for two people is a fair price I guess. We left very full and not in too much pain. So that was a good sign.

Good place for lunch with huge variety of foods. Good place to take family to enjoy. I enjoy the Mongolian wok. They cook up fresh meats, vegetables, pasta I recommend new seats, carpets or new a updated location

You pay before you eat, which is fine, but bad for anyone with plans on leaving a tip. I always tip, but I'm not tipping on a service that I haven't received yet. It has been years since I've been there. It would have been great if they told you to get your own drink instead of leaving it to the other customers to do so. There was also no toilet in the men's restroom. Just a urinal.

Could use better bathrooms, and the bathrooms they do have available could be cleaner. Food is hot at steam tables. Something for everyone, decent prices. Once you are shown to your seat, staff does nothing, get your own drinks. They don't check to ask if everything is satisfactory.

Resteraunt was pleasantly, food was exquisite, although they didn’t have soft serve the desserts were quite alright. Was a tad bit packed but it worked out. Overall pleasant experience, if you are wanting to go it is suggested.

If you are having dinner here, come early. You will be surprised how quickly the food runs out (especially the Sushi). To avoid dine and dashing, you are required to pay before eating, which makes sense. This is also one of the few buffets where your $16+ dinner buffet includes unlimited drinks, as other buffets tend to charge it separately. Free Wi-Fi too. As for the food, the only things I didn't like was the Hong Kong style Steak as the meat is a bit tough and chewy, and their dessert is as average as you see in other buffets. The rest were excellent and very filling. Had it not for those two hiccups I would give this a perfect score. But nonetheless a place worth visiting if you are ever in the Geneva NY area.

Cost very reasonable. Good selection on buffet. 3 kinds of soup, and plenty of chicken dishes. Mongolian wok is best feature, I always set up for shrimp and beef dish. Although buffet food is tasty, there seems to be extra oil in some dishes that can cause rapid intestinal clearance.

The people who work there are quite rude... impolite. They try to keep the tables wiped down, but the floor is often filthy. The food isn't bad. It isn't special at all, but they try to keep it warm. We watched someone wait for several minutes at the Mongolian station.

Food is always good but service could be much better. Waitresses are forever rude. Never smile never sat thank you or you're welcome. Always speaking in a different language and laughing while you're trying to speak too them. None of then ever look happy. The grill chef is always on his phone. You Have to wait forever food him to start to cook your food and it always ends up tasteless.

Usually my kids and I love this place. But tonight pushed me. Idk if the employee didn’t speak any English or what. But I complained about me drinking out of a dirty cup and all they did was shake there head at me then walked away. Didn’t say sorry didn’t take the cup nothing. I know this is a small thing to complain about, but it’s disgusting.

This is Chinese food for those who do not know what Chinese food is. No Gen Tso chicken. No teriyaki chicken. In fact, there are almost no Chinese dishes. Plenty of half-hearted offerings that all were bland or tasted the same. Plenty of American food - pizza, plain chicken wings, friench fries, and salad. Even the Asian family that came would not eat the "chinese" food and only had the Asian flavor noodle soup. The staff was friendly but the maintenance was on a par with the food - lacking. Damaged and stained ceiling tiles, filthy air diffusers with ribbons on them (so they can tell if the air is on), and a averall need to be cleaned.

Price was 12.50 per person. Food was ok. Lots of chicken choices. But everything was bland. Not much taste. Had crab legs on the buffet. ..but a very small container. And they were gone as soon as they were brought out. It was empty most of the time. That was due mostly to the rude costumers. One woman would stand there until they came out and take more than half the container of legs. She probably would have taken more of the plates were bigger.

Never been to a Chinese buffet where you need to pay first before sitting down. Not a lot of selection, mostly chicken dishes. The shrimp was not fresh. The table was a bit sticky and the hot and sour soup was a bit salty

The food was good but they made me and my friends switch tables as there were 4 of us. We ended up at a small table for 4. I asked what they had done with my bottled water which was on the table with our forks and napkins. The waitress motioned me to go with her she took it out of the trash can didn't bother wiping it off good and handed it to me with all kinds of sauce still on the bottle. She then was rude about me not wanting it and said well you will have to drink soda and walked off. I am a diabetic that can't have that much sugar. I was very disappointed in the attitude of the Staff. After making us move another party of 4 sat where we had been.

Food is made inconsistent some days the food is better than others. Pay is a more expensive than other ling lings idk why that's the case it just is. If you're looking for food and aren't picky than this is the place to go.

I've been here previously two other times. I really enjoyed it then.It has been quite awhile since we've been here. It wasn't as good as I remembered. Typical Asian buffet nothing really stood out that I tried. I like that the crab ragoons they are savory. Some food seemed fresh. Other food not as much. We did go at a odd time though. It was around 3 pm .

My Life

We've been to this restaurant about four times. Usually the food is pretty good and there is decent options to choose from. This time however, I was unsatisfied. We went there for my son's birthday as he wanted a "good" buffet. We got there around 5:30 so it was fairly busy. The food options were much more limited than usual and almost nothing was fresh and the bathrooms were not well kept up. What I do like about this restaurant is that the drinks are included in the price which is not typical of a Chinese buffet. The drink machine is made available for you to get your own refreshments. The prices are decent and what you would expect for a typical all you can eat buffet. Staff was friendly. There was a lot of people coming in to fill up styrofoam containers so I'm assuming that you can take food to go as well. As I usually do have a good experience at this restaurant I am recommending it and I am going to try it again another time. My three star rating is based off of last night's visit not previous visits and if things are better next time I go back I will update my rating. Definitely not recommended to go after 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. though even though they are open till 9:00.

We use to enjoy coming here before the pandemic. Yesterday we tried it for the first time in a year. We will not be going back. The food was cold or Lukewarm at best. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down.

The price for an adult is not posted anywhere/same thing for a child, or even the age limit - to where the price increases from a child to an adult. Yes, there is a pretty good assortment of food, but the food has too high sodium content. My family, and I, left one night feeling sick, and dizzy. Found out that we just ate as much sodium as you would consume in 3 days, in just one evening. Never going back.

Normally we have an ok experience. I have a family of six and four of which are kids. So we spend about $55 for us. They love it NORMALLY but tonight all the food was hard from the seseme chicken fried zucchini even their simple Texas toast all hard and over cooked. Not a good night I keep getting more and more disappointed in our experience.

Its "ok" but quite often the food is stale and dry. It's also rather strange that this place serves pizza, french fries, fried dough, and so many other American or other foods besides Chinese. You would think that they would have spaghetti on the menu too since they invented it. Its nicer now that the music doesn't make feel like you're in an opium parlor. I wouldn't make this a regular stop. If I want pizza or French fries there are far better places.

Place was absolutely terrible! I've ate here numerous times and this by far was the worst! Food was cold, not fresh by any means, and there was very little in each tray, like enough for a scoop for 2 people. The 3rd person in our group had to wait for food and when the chicken and broccoli came out the chicken was really really chewy. The woman taking the used plates just reaches right across the table while you are eating. The bathrooms smell like sewer and it's on the iffy side of being clean! The thing that bothers me is the woman uses the same cloth to wipe the seat and table then the glass and wood divider!

Was ready to get food and all the staff wanted to do was clean the place. Went to get desert and I found them rubbing rags over the lights directly over the food. Not very sanitary when customers are still eating that food. I don’t know if I’ll ever want to go there again.

The last two times my wife and I ate there the food was not as good as it used to be. The temp of the food is either cold or just warm and it was before noon, they open at 11:00 AM.

I am a huge buffet lover and wanted to give this place a good shot, I gave it several, in fact, and while the actual food itself was ok and what I expect for a buffet, something was WRONG with the drinks.... I don't know exactly how to describe it but their water had a weird taste to it like it was contaminated by metals or the cups it was served it weren't correctly washed and had soap residue. I don't know for certain but the water there never tasted right, don't drink the water.

Went there for the first and last time last July. Food was way overdone or under a heat lamp for too long. At the icecream station we had to search for a clean spoon for my neice. Salad bar was very unclean as well.

The food is terrible. Rice was dry, lo mein was also very dry and flavorless. Thought we'd try the hand dipped ice cream because how can you mess that up. They did. It was so freezer burned, it had ice crystals in it. If we could have given them zero stars, we would have.

Horrible place!!! I paid for a buffet and more than 3/4 of the buffet was empty. Then when I tried to address it with the staff I was told that they were going to be closing soon. Yet when I arrived not more than five minutes from this point, they didn’t happen to mention it then. So they literally took my money and I had to eat cold scraps. I will NEVER eat there again. Waste of time and money!!!!! 0 stars

The selection on the buffet is very limited. The available sushi was so limited, it was next to non-existent. I felt crammed in the seating section and you are expected to fetch and maintain your own beverage. The Mongolian BBQ was the only thing positive about the visit as it is in line with other top notch Chinese buffets I’ve experienced. This restaurant is definitely overpriced...and a return visit will not be planned. ☹️

We’ve been here quite a few times the past few years. First time since covid. I hate to say that the food has really gone down hill. It was so salty and not satisfying at all. My wife and son are currently sick and we can only guess it’s from the food. On top of this it cost has went up. Reading recent reviews it seems to be a trend…which makes me sad.

I had a plate of chicken, as I was eating through, there was a raw piece of chicken, fully pink, and I told the waitress. She told the cook, and he came to the table to tell me that is how chicken is, and that was acceptable. It isn't ok to do that ,and I won't be going back again.

We went at 7:10pm for dinner. Several of the buffet pans where empty including both of the soups. When I asked if they were going to refill the soup I was told flatly no. The other empty buffet pans were never refilled either. People were still coming in at 7:50 when we left. I wonder what they ate. This place is the pits. Grubby rugs and filthy bathrooms rounded out our dinning experience. Go somewhere else .

A group of 9 of us came for dinner at 6pm and they seated us in the back dinning room. The food was pretty good and they did ok at restocking things. The server in our area was very rude and made us all very uncomfortable. We were sitting and talking and about 7:45 she came and took all of our cups off the table. She then proceeded to vacuum around us so we couldn't hear each other. At 8:10 she came over and said they were closed and we needed to leave now (even though their website and the sign outside said open till 8:30). As we were walking out there were at least 15 people with full plates of food sitting and eating. Very disappointed in how we were treated and will not be returning.

There is nothing like going in and paying for your dinner, and the staff are talking and laughing about you in your face in a different language. The food is not good. I don't know how this place is still open. You guys need to work on your hospitality and food before you talk about people, not a welcoming place. There's nicer places out there that with better food. This place is a hard pass for me....

The food wasn't the greatest for some of the dishes, my dad says the noodles were left too long and not fresh. I can't eat noodles cause I have to watch gluten but him and my Aunt had some and they both said at the same time the noodles weren't great. I at least enjoyed some of the fruits they had. Over all if you're hungry enough for Chinese you'd probably eat there. The only good thing was good service and the employees were very kind and sweet mannered.

Chef almost burnt my daughter and then was extremely rude to her. When I said something about it a few other customers spoke up and said how rude they were usually.

My husband and I used to go to this place years past after church for lunch and loved the food and atmosphere. We were today and the food was awful. Inside the restaurant the decor has not been updated since we were there last. The buffet food where it should be warm was cold, the hibachi was so so. The sushi was terrible. Staff was rude when questions asked. Definitely wont be back. Not worth the money we spent.

Is fine if you like chicken. No pork or beef dishes. Egg rolls had only the skimpiest of bok choy and nothing else. Spring rolls were the same with a sprinkle of carrot. Pizza looked good

Found a hair in sugar donuts and it was cooked in the item I took it it up to them they said it wasn't there hair so it's fine didn't offer a discount basically laughed in my face I do not recommend this place at all absolutely disgusting

If I could give just no stars for a review, I would. The food was absolutely DISGUSTING and barely edible. not very warm at all and not much of a selection. Overcooked on top of it. I don't suggest going here.. Empire buffet on Erie Blvd in Dewitt knocks this place out the park.

Normally I love this restaurant. The food is tasty and there's a good variety, something for everyone. Today, not so much. I get myself a plate of food, and as I'm cutting through the cheese on the creamed spinach, it slides and there hidden beneath is two short black hairs. Gross! So I leave the half eaten plate of food and choose different food. I sit down with my second plate of food, and sprawled across my broccoli is a long straight grey hair. 🤢. My hair isn't short, black or grey. I whispered to my teenager to watch out for hairs (they were at a different table because we are such a large group) and was informed she had already rejected a plate of food because she found a hair too! If we found 4 hairs in just our group...how many went unnoticed? Or worse yet, how many were eaten? 🤢. The food isn't worth eating hairs for.
