Recensioni di Ristorante Muinà Genova
Molto accogliente, cucina ottima, simpatia e cortesia , porzioni abbondanti, prezzi onesti.
Abbiamo cenato sabato siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti.
Ambiente semplice e familiare. Servizio cortese e simpatico. Prezzi giusti. Ergo: ci ritorno
Lunch at Muinà was a birthday present for my partner, and it was excellent! After the "usual" enormous house appetizer, we decided to try two truly unusual dishes: linguine with sea bream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, chili pepper, and crunchy baked breadcrumbs. The carefully measured chili pepper gave the dish a special touch, but without overpowering the other flavors! For the main course, the larded shrimp on a gorgonzola cream sauce, another highly unusual combination, but absolutely successful! Two bottles of fruity and pleasant Ligurian Vermentino obviously accounted for almost half of the bill, so the quality/price ratio remains excellent, especially for a restaurant that's been in business for 175 years. Congratulations, and see you next time!
Traditional trattoria--- 15€ lunch menu was great. A nice stop on way to Pesto di Pra producers.
Historic trattoria in the historic center of Genoa's Pra' district. We ordered calamarata with scampi tartare and burrata: a balanced and flavorful dish. For our second course, we had a delicious and generous fried fish platter and sesame-crusted tuna. We finished the meal with a port-fresh peach parcel. Very welcoming staff.
The restaurant is near the gardens, where there are children's playgrounds and benches. Parking is available near the restaurant or near the first roundabout in Prá. The entrance is welcoming, and the restaurant has a beautiful dining room accessed by two steps. The interior is bright, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is comprehensive and includes fish and meat, but I recommend the fish because I asked for veal with tuna sauce and they served me a plate with curled slices of roast beef (rare) with a little tuna sauce in the center... Meh! For this reason, I'm taking two stars off my food rating. 😉 I recommend the fish dishes!
I just left this restaurant that welcomes you like family. I had the fish menu. Everything was delicious and fresh. The portions are generous, but it's so good you won't give up... you even mop up the plate with bread for a bit... The staff is incredibly kind... the environment is well-kept and clean. I highly recommend it!
I highly recommend this place. A family-run restaurant since 1850, mainly serving seafood. I was there on August 15th 2025 with my family, but I went there about twenty years ago, always with my family and a larger group. My father always raved about this place, and going back I can confirm this. I'm honest, and I think I've never eaten fresh fish cooked so well, so tender, with a different sauce for each course; in short, everything was excellent. Congratulations especially to my grandmother, a great cook, and to the whole family, including the grandchildren, who are learning very well. Excellent service, with a friendly host. Fair prices for what we ate. Keep up the good work 💯. Emanuel
A historic family-run trattoria, a true treasure trove for generations of Genoese. The raw fish dishes are simply fantastic, not to mention the spaghetti with sea urchins and bottarega. Excellent service, excellent wine cellar, absolutely fair prices, everything truly fantastic. Rating 11, like Luca Vialli's first jersey.
Perfect dining experience.
We were pleasantly surprised when we had our last dinner of the trip there, and it turned out to be the best meal of the entire trip. It was at the restaurant right below our Airbnb. The service, the staff, the atmosphere, the food—everything was incredible and wonderful. They make you feel right at home from the moment they serve you. We ordered: Half a liter of the house white wine, which I highly recommend. Ravioli and risotto Frutti di Mare. A tiramisu that you absolutely MUST try. They treated us with such kindness. It's a place you absolutely must go to for a delicious meal and a truly enjoyable time.
I’ve eaten at Muinà twice now and both times were incredible! Last night we got the Insalata di Polpo e Patate (Octopus & Potato Salad - a typical Ligurian dish) and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had! The octopus was super fresh and cooked very well and everything was well seasoned - it was brilliant! We also had the Paccheri con Sugo di Granchio (pasta with crab) which were delicious and Tagliolini all’astice (pasta with lobster) which was really good and fresh. For desserts we got the Pistachio cheesecake & Tiramisu which were both really good. The service was also just as good as the food - the owner was really friendly and fun and took great care of us. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more. :)
Top!!!
Excellent in every way. The restaurant is clean, airy, pleasantly Ligurian in its colors and decor, with extremely friendly and efficient staff. The dishes are excellent in both quality and quantity, carefully crafted and with a delicious, refined flavor. The prices are average, but absolutely excellent in terms of quality/quantity/price ratio. We were extremely satisfied in every way, we will definitely be back and we can recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. Much respect for Carlotta and Leonardo, who, together with their father Edoardo, have given new life to this historic restaurant in our western Genoa area!
Dishes were tasty and fresh. Staff were very attentive. Lovely dinner overall
Relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, and a menu with a decent selection of dishes, but not too many so you don't get lost. The tagliolini with lobster was very good and generously portioned, the house antipasto was excellent, easily shared between two, and the basil-scented octopus was excellent, the octopus was incredibly crispy. The unique version of tiramisu, which isn't traditional but is still very good, and the dark chocolate cheesecake was good, but be warned: it tastes very cheesy. Highly recommended. The price is fair given the quality of the ingredients.
An excellent seafood dinner with my dad. Everything was excellent, the service was friendly and perfect! As a Genoese, it's one of those places you need to return to when you're away for too long on business and need the cuisine of your home to experience your own flavors and roots. I'll definitely be back! (The mixed fried fish and anchovies were superb! 😋)
Personale gentile e disponibile. Non sono rimasta soddisfatta del risotto ai frutti di mare, non mi è piaciuto. Frittura mista di pesce buona. Dolce buono.
