We stopped just for a take-out dessert and found a dessert bar, with a huge assortment of tiny yummyv homemade desserts - brownies, lemon bars, blueberry cake, pie, etc. Just what a didn't know I needed! One birthday candle and it's a perfect treat. We'll try them again for the rest of their repertoire.

Went in for the first time ordered a build your own burger w frys to go and it was delicious bun was toasted cheese was melted bacon was crispy and was cooked just how I asked the bbq sauce I asked for with it was perfect too I wouldve took a picture but I was hungry I noticed they have a buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner would go back to try that out

We shared our parents 50th anniversary with 50+ guests of family and friends. I would definitely host another patry there. The buffet had an abundance of food for everyones liking. Our guests were raving about it through the evening. The staff were right on que, and very friendly. The room looked beautiful. Thank you WhiteStone Cafe.

1st time in this establishment on a quiet street no customers very little employees French toast was good my friend got the buffet he said that the waitress seems to have an attitude wasn't friendly enough or it was the heat. In any case plenty of seats and a party room in the back for larger groups. If anyone is in Ghent check it out kids are invited.

I thought they were closed from the outside....*driving back and forth a few times- but NO! open! The buffet was such a deal! ($12) with many Italian choices like meatballs and many buffet staples likejello. The soup- delicious! the deserts - perfect for what I needed - cookies and a truly tremendously yummy fudge. If this was closer, I would go all the time! I was simply driving by from one place to another and noticed it*

I haven't been to the White Stone Cafe in over 10 years because I kept hearing bad stuff about it. I was in town and decided to get to-go with my sister. So glad I did! The food was sooo good and the cocktail to-go came in a huge container at a great price. Tasted great too! She got the prime rib, I got a bacon cheeseburger, and we shared some boneless wings. Service was great too when we called/picked up. I'll definitely be going back.

Fresh cooked dinner, clean surroundings, very nice staff. Very comfortable atmosphere. Definitely going back often when eating out. No $25 burgers on the menu but then again I did not have to wear a tuxedo to eat there. Great comfortable eating.

It's inexpensive like you wouldn't believe and they have a buffet for some reason. It is a perfectly fine place for breakfast. Just don't expect Balthazar.

Sure, you could head into Hudson for something more metropolitan, but I just really enjoy an old fashioned american diner for breakfast. This restaurant has a small town quaintness with all the friendliness and good food you could ask for. Add to that the coffee is bold with a taste - not like some watered down wimpy excuse for coffee!

Not bad at all. Me and HS kids stopped in on our journey south of Albany. Friendly people and it certainly did the trick to curb the appetites of HS wrestler, dancer, etc. I thought the salad fixings were quite fresh and delish. Wish there had been a soup or gumbo option

It might not be fancy but the food is generally very good and it's inexpensive. They make a great turkey club and I love their home made stuffing. Their prime rib on weekends is great and quite a bargain. The country chicken dinner was excellent and huge. Don't miss out on the onion rings! They do a great job packing up take out dinners which is really important.

Nice staff and good food at a good price. Steak, mashed potatoes and gravy with mixed vegetables a salid and a choice of soups. $21 Heck that's less than a meal at DQ or Macdonalds and it's good healthy Food. I do wish there would be more lighting in the front outside it's way to dark .

You know those places where you're greeted with a smile, given your choice of seating, and asked if you'd like a coffee when sat at your table? This is one of them, and I love it. This was my first meal out since March. Wow. What a long strange road it's been. We sat outside, disinfected often with the restaurant-provided sanitizer, and socially distanced. The server was observant of the situation, and was welcoming as can be. Belgian waffle - how fitting for the town of Ghent. Perfectly cooked. Country gravy & biscuits - delicious gravy, potatoes could've been cooked a bit more for extra crispiness (my preference), same with the biscuits. Sausage & bacon - both good and as expected. Overall - fantastic service at a great price. The food was really good but didn't stand out as much as the service.

This food is like Truck Stop food. So if you want good old uninspired American Food in the middle of nowhere, this is the place for you. If you don't want to cook for Thanksgiving dinner then it's a good place to go. The price is good, buffet style, plenty choices of meals, salads and desserts to choose from.

I wind up going there with a good friend of mine. We're both from Catskill. The service was good. The food was good and the waitress. Nicole did an excellent job. I would recommend if anybody's in the area and stop and have a bite to eat. They also have a buffet and I think the lunch buffet was like 11.99 and had several choices and that also look good

The buffet was pretty poor quality. The butter (and everything cooked in it) tasted vaguely of blue cheese. My sister-in-law had difficulty cutting her prime rib. The waitstaff were passable, though. I don't think I'll be going back without a major upgrade in the quality of food.

I'm not trying to be mean, but I had the worst burger of my life here last week; I couldn't even finish the meal. The patty had a funky smell to it and tasted as if the meat had thawed out and sat around for a while and then got re-frozen again. It wasn't even cheap for the deluxe meal. The fries were good, but man, these guys really need to get a new meat supplier or handle the food better.

It had been a few years since we stopped by and I was looking forward to the lunch buffet. The salad greens were basically see through as if they had been frozen. Where they weren’t transparent, they were dark and wilted - almost a slimy wilted. The toppings looked fresh but most were still partially frozen. I ventured out and tried some potato salad, coleslaw, chicken noodle soup, and some macaroni and cheese. To put it nicely, the food was as bland as bland can get. My husband went after the fish and crab cakes as he loves seafood. He wasn’t able to take more than one bite before he realized just how bad the food was. Restaurant definitely needs some up grades ... and the food, they need to make things flavorful. Less than 24 hours since our lunch and my husband and I have had to use the restroom multiple times. WILL NOT RECOMMEND!

Went to their Saturday brunch buffet on Christmas day. Read reviews beforehand but it was one of the few places open that day so went despite poor reviews recently. Breakfast items were cold, eggs were green and runny, fruit had few options and was poor quality. Wait staff was nice but you could see on their faces that they knew the buffet wasn't good.

Went for mother's day breakfast. Food was disgusting, eggs looked like soup, all the meats where dried out. Service was okay. The owner of the restaurant was rude. We had my eldery grampa and she gave an attitude when we said he was in a wheel chair. Claiming nobody told her that, and sighed. This place has been open for years. I dont think it should for much longer. Also $200 for only 10 people. For disgusting breakfast. The only thing that was good was the coffee and fruit that wasn't rotten.
