Stopped in the early afternoon went thru drive thru. We had to wait behind three cars with average wait time, and everything was ready at the window. The ice cream was not melted in anyway, the candies were fresh. Ordered a large onion ring, tasted like corn dogs and not over cooked , nice crisp to a soft onion. The server was polite and professional. She came out to the car to get our money so we could go when we got to the window for our food. Definitely a great visit.

Spent $48 to have a ton of food given to me to eat in my car. Food was amazing, milkshake was top notch though a little too thick for a draw, and their drinks were great despite the massive variety. Definitely worth the half hour drive out.

Everything was perfect today during lunch time on a weekday, easy ordering, timely delivery, and no issues. The food was warm and delicious, could not have been better. For example, the mozzarella sticks were just the right temperature and the corn dog was crunchy. I have to say it is not always the case, but today was exceptional!

My favorite fast food! Their milkshakes are to die for! The prices are just right and you definitely get what you pay for. The portions are perfect. Not too big and not too little! The staff is always professional, friendly and efficient as well. I just wish I didn't have to drive all the way to Salinas, although it's definitely worth the drive!

The food is really good! The prices shocked me a bit though! For two adults my order came to 35.00! Maybe the shock was because I rarely dine out and when I do dine out I'm usually not the one paying for it! I love the dill pickle fries! First time I had then ever anywhere and I absolutely love this side dish! Especially when the pickle fries come to room temp! That's when all the flavors come together perfectly! My pickle fries were served piping hot, nothing at all wrong with that, so I allowed them to cool and WOW, they were excellent at room temp! My order came with dipping sause, two flavors, bbque & ranch dressing, however I did not use them or need them! The food flavors are really very good! I am able to see the inside of the drive thru which the kitchen/cooking area is and this Sonics looks old and decrepit looking! Not on the outside, definitely on the inside! The employees are friendly with smiles to greet you! The employee who handles the cash when customers are paying also handles the food to give to you through the drive thru! There is no separate window for paying first then another window to receive your order! Like the way Starbucks drive thru does! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS CHANGE AT SONICS DRIVE THRU! IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR THE EMPLOYEES TO NOT HANDLE THE FOOD AND THE CASH! COME ON SONICS, THIS IS IN NO WAY A CLEAN AND HYGIENICALLY WAY TO RUN A FOOD BUSINESS! SONICS DOES A GREAT DEAL OF BUSINESS ESPECIALLY THE EVENING I VISITED THERE! THERE IS NO REASON WHY SONICS CANNOT AFFORD A TWO WINDOW DRIVE THRU TO KEEP THE DIRTY NESS OF THE CASH SEPARATE FROM THE CLEANLINESS OF THE FOOD! 😏🫴

Food was actually really good. Decent portion size for a medium, couldn’t finish it all with the tater tots. Also love the fact they have tater tot’s, as I favor them over fries. The lemonade was delicious as well. I wish they had more in the bag area, but defiantly worth going out of our way for! Super good! No place to really sit down and eat unless you want to eat in your car though

We really enjoyed the food. It was all top notch for Sonic. If you are going to only serve through the drive through, advertise it. Sitting at a stall for longer than expected, to be told "Drive through only right now," was a tad irritating. Going through the drive through after that and sitting for awhile with no one else at the place was also a bit off putting. When we got to the window, the guy was super nice and the food was great. I will definitely go back, and don't want to sound super critical, but would like it to be posted somewhere that you have drive thru only hours so I don't waste my time.

Drive up order drive out or eat here if u want. But if your car is too large do not even attempt to squeeze in those spots. If you want a quick bite to eat or a delicious shake, or sundae this is your place yummy 😋 usually great service too thanks so much you all!

Haven’t been to Sonic since leaving the East Coast & this was such a great reminder of how amazing Sonic is!! I got something simple, a Strawberry Lemon slush, tots & chicken strips. It was amazing!!

I was hesitant to try this location because I have been repeatedly disappointed with the Hayward location. But today we decided to make the drive down to Gilroy from SJ. The service was fast and friendly. The food was amazing! Drinks were perfect. Only downside was they were out of whipped cream 😔. My daughter absolutely loves the whipped cream from Sonic and was a bit disappointed. It’s ok, just gives us an excuse to visit this location again in the near future.

Never been here before. It's a fun experience. They have a large selection of fast food, beverages, and desserts. We got the jumbo popcorn chicken meal with tater tots and the double cheeseburger with bacon meal with fries. The food was great. It was hot and tasted pretty fresh. The drinks, however, could use some help. We got a coke but it was flat. We also got a signature cherry limeade but it had no flavor! So we got one drink that's just syrup and the other is just seltzer, no syrup. We informed them, and they replaced the drinks. Overall it was a good experience and worth a try!

I used one of the stalls and ordered their crispy chicken sandwich and some burgers/shakes for my kids. Didn't wait all that long and the stall actually worked. The only thing that didn't work was the card reader so the poor employee had to run my card inside. Not the best idea since someone can seriously take your card that way. Overall good food and have been going here for years.

The food was good, but they don't roller skate anymore. When we arrived at one of the stalls, the person on the answering machine quickly said something then hung up. It wasn't until we went to another stall that we were told that the store was drive through only. Overall, not bad, but completely missing the Sonic experience.

It was busy for a Friday night but I wanted to try that new cake batter shake :) the overall wait was 45 min in the drive thru we were not in a hurry and the shake was worth the wait for myself. If u are in a hurry may want to try somewhere else. The two employees who helped us (one took order & the other delivered order) were both friendly & helpful. Only spent $8.00 and sum change for 1 large and 2 medium drinks. That Happy Hour after 8 pm is a good deal.

I order on their app and go pick up my food. Waited at the stall for awhile and then got in the drive thru line. They brought my food out a few minutes later. The food was hot and nicely prepared.

Sonic was my very first job when I was growing up, so I have nostalgia and higher expectations. I wasnt impressed. Somewhere along the line, Sonic decided to focus on their drink menu. It was always big, but it seems now that is a soda shop instead of a drive in. Speaking of drive in, we pulled up and hit the button. Waited for like 5 minutes then went to another spot. Same thing. I dont know if they were broken, or the employees were too busy with their 5 customers that they weren't able to answer the buzz....either way, my wife had never been there, so naturally it ruined even the slightest experience. Some of my favorite burgers and menu items were gone, but replaced with new ones. The food was still tasty and the burgers were made fresh, but it wasn't worth driving out of our way to get to.

For a fast food restaurant the food was good. Had a smash burger combo with coke to go. The order came out in a timely fashion. The order was hot and fresh, correct and complete. The requested sauces along with napkins and a straw were in the bag. This is a win for me because I have to look thru the bag at all fast food restaurants because MOST of the time they forget something. So.... ....I will definitely order food from this Sonic drive in again.

Food came out fresh, the carhop was nice, and the drive in is a pretty cool feature. The shake and blast were pretty good, and they weren't stingy with toppings. The burger was basic, and the coney hot dog was pretty good. I'd go to a sonic again if I see one.

Really great food. Would have given 5 stars but the drive through took quite a while to get through. Very convenient location right off the main road. Even though you don't see the new York dog in the menu, don't worry, you can still order it.

Sonic is great!! I had the Chicago dog, fries, and a grape slush. You can always count on Sonic for having great burgers, fries and shakes. And the amount of flavor possibilities is crazy. You can have any slush or shake and any flavor you want. If you haven't been to a Sonic, you owe it to yourself to go. We will definitely be back again.

Fairly decent speed. The drive hops go better than the line. Sadly they close them sooner than they're supposed to, regardless of how busy they are. Update: nice staff. The guys work quickly and have an upbeat tennor to them.

This was my first time at a Sonic. I do really like that they have a good variety of food items that you wouldn’t find at other drive-thru establishments. There was only one guy working at this one so he had his hands pretty full carrying out the orders, but he was apologetic about it. My food was… well it wasn’t exactly a health kick for me. I got a Sonic blast which was huge, but the topping ran out when I still had 80% of just vanilla ice cream left so I wish they’d mix it in more. All in all Sonic is worth trying but not very often.

This place is fun if you want a bit of old school. But with that there are some cons to this establishment. The lines for drive thru can take a long time, even with very few cars and there have been times when the people accepting your payment weren't the nicest. I get their corn dogs which are my favorite and I have never been disappointed. Their drinks on the other hand are a hit and miss. Sometimes they are really good. Other times they lack flavour and aren't worth the amount you pay for them. For a place who's number one product is sodas and different types of drinks, they don't have it spot on every time. Which can be frustrating.

Came here on Sunday. All the places to park and order were taken so we went to the drive through. No problem. When we got to the order box no one said anything. We waited for 5 min and no one took our order. We drove up to the window but there were cars still waiting for there order. Now I was a passenger and fell asleep for about 10 min and we were still in the exact same place!! We asked a staff member that was walking if someone could help us. Some girl did come and said she could take our order. My friend asked "it's a large order, you sure you can remember everything? " she said yes. Basically we got the wrong order and we had to wait longer. In the end we did get our food but it was a wait.

This location has so much potential to be better, but has been a steady decline for years. It kinda sucks because Sonic is such a great place for a quick snack and treat. Last time we visited we were in line for 20 minutes and we didn’t order any food at all, just drinks and couple milkshakes. And don’t get me wrong, they service wasn’t terrible, I actually felt bad because they had one single person working the entire restaurant and he seemed so overworked. My hope is they clean up some of the gaps in their service. If it wasn’t for that it would be a solid 4/5.

This is a drive up and order. However the payment systems don't work anymore so you have to give your cc to an attendant. We didn't feel too comfortable with it but it ended up being fine. I'm probably using drive thru next time.

They tried giving me a small drink and said it was a medium. SMH The food was good and the carhops were nice. I ordered online and picked it up there. It always takes time to get your food even when you have ordered ahead.

The last 2 times I've went have been trash. The drinks look nothing remotely like how the show. Online they advertise this one drink. And you're able to order it online. But when u go to pick it up. Went through the curbside Park with the intercom thing. Everything's good except they did not include napkins inside the bag. This is basic check when you're packaging and delivering food to to your customers. I had some tissues in the car so didn't bother to call or go in cuz not worth it. But come on. You should have napkins for the customers inside the bag ready.

I went through the drive-through. It was hot and I wanted a slushy so I ordered a slushy strawberry slushy for me and my daughter and she wanted some chili cheese fries. The strawberry slushy was too sweet and the chili cheese fries I had never seen such a small portion of chili cheese fries. They definitely weren’t the share size. I guess if you’ve been traveling for a long time and you wanna stop and take a break it’s OK.

Let’s start off with the good: sonic car drivein has been a great “ American pastime “, so the experience of ordering and having a car hop, give you the meal as part of the experience. The cherry limeade slushy is great, but with anything with tons of sugar would. We also had the cheddar peppers, which were very delicious, and reminded us of Carl’s Jrs. Unfortunately, the cheeseBurger, which should be the focal point of the meal is the worst. Completely overcooked as shown in the photo, and probably the least delicious fast food burger I’ve had in a while. Total for the meal was over $12, not including the tip. Highway robbery.

Good food but drive-through took an hour to go through. Supposedly their headsets weren't working, but they never came to get customers orders and had them waiting at the order intercom for a good 15 minutes with no orders going through. I looked through the windows and saw a lot of kids standing around or slowly trying to fill drink orders. I'm kind of surprised there wasnt any managers getting on their behinds! Definitely added more hours to our long trip home which I am not happy about.

The stalls are too small for our travel van to fit comfortably. The food came out cold. Our order was delivered with wrong and missing items. The location we were at didn't have the menu items we originally purchased. Overall, it's Sonic. I go there for convenience and their slushes. Everything else is better elsewhere.

I had an order mix up and thought it was weird to not be given the dipping sauces for the things I ordered. We ordered milkshakes as well that were already melted and since i ordered 4 of them i didn't know who's was who's so we essentially had to taste test all of them to figure it out...kinda gross. They all looked like vanilla shakes even though they werent. 👎 The food itself was good, just think it could've been a much better experience.

Probably one of the worst sonic locations on earth. It’s always dirty, the staff looks miserable and the food is always always terrible. I keep trying to give them chances but always end up disappointed. Usually they have their drinks to fall back on but even the milkshakes were watery and just gross today. The extra star is only because the staff, although looking miserable we’re trying their best and the cheddar peppers were ok. Everything else was flat out horrible and I would save yourself the disappointment as well as the 30-45 min it takes to get your $15 worth of garbage.

Not just the worst Sonic cheeseburger I have ever had, but the worst cheeseburger I have ever had. The only reason it’s getting two stars is the shakes appear to still be pretty good. It appears more than half the screens in the stalls are broken and you’re now required to order through their phone app unless you go through the drive-thru. I come here for nostalgia’s sake, but I won’t be back. This place has gone downhill. For Sonic, I mean.

Don't bother if you are in a rush . Possibly the slowest fast-food restaurant I have ever been to. I entered the drive through on a Wednesday at 12:56 p.m. and there were 3 cars in front of me and 2 in the stalls. It took until 1:23 p.m. to finally get my food put through the window, and that included a 4-minute wait after I paid at the drive up window. It appeared that there was only 3 people working the entire operation with one taking orders at the window and the other putting the orders together and playing CarHop. Evidently this is the norm for this location as they have signs posted on the speaker asking people to be patient because there's only one person taking orders.

Had every problem imaginable here. Waited 15 minutes after pressing button to have my order taken (ultimately had to go into the employee only door to get someone), food took another 15 min, food came out cold and both drinks were poorly mixed. Staff was nice, but management needs to tighten the screws big time, new GM for sure, this performance across the board is unacceptable.

Usually I come to this location every now and then with my boyfriend whenever we’re passing through Gilroy, but this time was not it unfortunately. Usually the service is super quick, even on Friday nights, but we caught a bad time I guess. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger combo with tater tots and a Cranberry Limeade. The drinks and tater tots were amazing as always, but the bacon cheeseburger did not have bacon and literally had a couple of ants crawling around the wrapper. I didn’t take a picture unfortunately because I lost my appetite, but I’m upset I wasted so much money when I really only ate the side and not the main part of my meal. I live about 30 minutes away and waited to eat at home so obviously I couldn’t go back and tell the workers, but I’m not sure if I want to go back for a while :/ sucks because I really love Sonic.

The food and atmosphere are fine - it’s fried American food, kind of hard to mess up. The service, on the other hand, was terrible. I went through the drive-through and asked if the food I ordered came with sauces. I was told yes. I also asked for extra limes in my drink, but when they didn’t confirm, I asked if they could repeat my order (since there’s no digital screen). They repeated it, but didn’t mention the drink modification, so I asked again. They finally confirmed. When I pulled forward and got my drink, it didn’t have the extra limes. I asked AGAIN, and they finally fixed it. Then I drove away and realized my order had no sauces. I had to drive back through again. When I thanked the guy at the window, he just stared at me. No “sorry” for any of the errors not even a “you’re welcome.” For the price and the headache, I’ll air fry my corn dogs and mozzarella sticks at home.

Normally I hate to leave a bad review but every single time I've been here SOMETHING has gone wrong. I wish this was an exaggeration. From being handed wrong order to my pick up orders not being ready for up to 20 minutes after I received the "pick up" notification. This is very discouraging as Sonic is one of my favorite fast food places. The food is always great though and the shakes are bomb, no complaints there, I just wish the service was a bit better :(

The Gilroy Sonic was the worst ever. They've gone down hill..their service was awful. The customer service was just as bad. Lazy. We changed 3x to get car service. We had to go through the drive thru. I had been driving all day just wasn't expecting this to be like this. I will not be going back to that location again. There's so much more than I am going to say that it's not worth it. I'm just very disappointed.

I went to Sonic today, went the the center to order food, and it took over 35 minutes and 2 walk ups to their kitchen to finally get to order. After ordering, it took another 40 minutes and another 2 walk ups for the food to come out. When the food came out, it looked terrible. The onion rings weren't even rings, all of them were broken, mushy, and just falling apart. The drink I ordered was a large but received a medium. The cheddar poppers had the jalapeños falling out of them. Before posting this review I saw there have been a ton of complaints lately. I'm not sure if it's a new team or new management but something terrible is going on now. Even while waiting for the 75 minutes, I watched 3 people ask for their money back, 1 person not pay at all, and 6 people leave without even ordering just due to how long it was taking. To whomever the franchise owner is of this location, get it together! Figure it out! It used to be good but now you suck!

Shi**y experience!! The woman taking my order today was very rude. A lot of sighs of irritation coming from her. Gave me my total then hung up the order....ugh i wasn't done. The person that delivered our food was polite. I realized i was given the wrong soda. I press the red button again..i tried to explain, i was given attitude and a sigh with a " i can't hear you. Hold!" I waited, and waited, and waited, then she just hung up the call. Now I'm irritated! I see carlos who delivered our food, he asked if i needed something. He came back fast with the right soda. At this point i realized my son's kids meal is not correct. Now i go up to the window and get it corrected. I ask for a managers name so i can call them when i get home to share my experience. The employee was hesitant and stated he couldn't give that info out. Serious? I drove 30 minutes for this? We don't live near by so yes we drove 30 minutes to get to sonic. This lunch was a special treat for my son. Since we are in a pandemic we don't get out much. The owner / general manager needs to do some customer service training.

We gave this sonic a few chances and each time it was awful in every respect. The wait was over a hour one time and the order was wrong. Another time the wait was 45 min in the drive thru and the order was wrong and the food was cold. The last time we showed up and it was a hour before closing and the slushie and ice cream machines were already being cleaned! It was a hot night. We were disappointed again and do not see us going back- even though we love sonic in the past.

My wife and I always wanted to try Sonic but there are none near us. We were on a road trip and decided to give it a shot. I'm not familiar with how they operate, but we pulled into one of the spots and were notified that they were offering drive thru service only. It was 3 in the afternoon and the line was long. Pass. Update: Tried same location a 2nd time, they didn't even bother to tell me they weren't doing car service this time. After being ignored for 5 minutes, I left. Wonder why they are still in business.

This is the last time they get my business. Every time I try to get something, it takes more than 10 minutes just to place my order. And the it takes 15 to 25 minutes to receive my food and shakes. With a few hours of driving ahead of me I thought it would be nice to stop for a burger and a drink. I've now been waiting 40 minutes and there is still no sign of getting my order. Cars have been moving through the drive through but it seems that stalls have been given absolute lowest priority. This is absolutely inexcusable. I would leave if I hadn't already paid. I will never be stopping here again.

Terrible just terrible we waited in line and waited in line it was 9:30 at night. Three or more minutes later then a girl comes on the intercom and says that the ice cream machine is not working! We weren’t interested in ice cream we just wanted food and a slushy. Well the girl came back on the intercom and said that she would be with us in a minute 5 minutes later we were still waiting. Yes, we left after waiting for about 15 minutes or more in the drive through. This is unacceptable and unprofessional! If I could give them a score of 0 I would!

I Highly recommend NOT ordering from the stalls. Myself and a customer next to me waited for over 40 minutes to get our food. The personnel focused mostly on just serving the drive-thru customers. My food arrived cold, cold hamburger, cold tatertots and my beverage cup wasn't even completely full. I still had 2 hours of driving to get home and didn't have time to complain so I just left disgusted.

Don't go on a holiday like 4th of July. Long wait and the fries were cold. Also on a regular day they will mess up your order. Then when you try to call for someone they never answer through the speaker in the stall. We had to get back in line in the drive thru because they forgot multiple things in our order. Looooong wait and no apology for messing up the order. Also, my husband said his burger was trash. So many better fast food options than this place.

Not sure if it's an operational /management, trainings, or short on workers, or poor workers but the line is short and timely. It takes 40 to 50 minutes to put in an order with only 5 cars ahead of me. Not a one time incident. I have been to this branch 5 times and struggled with this same issue.. please fix Operations. The flow is horrible. There is an average of 2 to 4 ppl working the times I've been there. It look 8 minutes alone for the worker to open the drive through window repeat my order and collect payment. Idk that's a long time to wait once I've pulled up to the window after ordering. If the problem is short staff I suggest better benefits and pay to help support loving standards people need. Also I can't believe they are not on Doordash and their park to order stalls never work. ... I'm too scared to use their mobile app to.order if their in person ordering is so horrendous Hope this facility can get better times in the very near future

The customer service I received tonight was horrible. (01/22/22 at @ 8:29 PM). My boyfriend ordered a #3 with no mayo, lettuce or tomato, add ketchup and mustard. Fries and a coke. The associate repeated the order back to us over the intercom and we proceeded in the line. We approached the window and the cashier repeats the order back to us “a #3 with no tomato” which was incorrect. I immediately told the associate that the order was incorrect and advised of the correct order. The cashier proceeds to tell us that there is nothing they can do about it…So we left!!! (Not to mention I am allergic to tomatoes) I understand it being rush hour as a restaurant owner myself, but this could’ve been handled more professionally. Being that it was their fault and no acknowledgement or accountability was shown is POOR SERVICE! The cashier could’ve simply asked us to pull into a parking spot and wait for the order to be redone while they handled other customers. I am very disappointed and will never return to this location during my future road travel. Please take this review into deep consideration and improve on the customer service at this location!

*THE ORDERING/PARKING STALLS DO NOT WORK* They will not help you or even have signs saying they aren’t working, so you sit there for 5+ minutes (seen people wait a longer). This place has the worst customer service experience. They are super slow to get things out and take forever to help you place an order.

I came to Sonics on July 3rd, 2024, at 3:18pm. through the drive-thru with my family... everything was going great until the drive thru lady gave me attitude thru the speaker phone.. I forgot to order 2 things, and I politely asked if I could add on 2 more things, and her response was, " Oh my god, really?" In a very un-professional and un-mannered way.. As a manager at my own restaurant, Nick the Greek in San Francisco.. that type of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in front of children and my family... this place needs an upgrade badly and re-train their employees how to talk to customers under pressure. On top of that, I ordered 3 burgers the same type, and only 1 of them came with double patty.. Again, all the same type of burger.. very unpleasant experience..

First went to the stall and waited 10 minutes just to be told that you have to go to the drive-through. 30 minutes later (yes the line was super long) finally got to the speaker to order and I was ignored after saying hello for another 10 minutes holding up the entire line. People honked their horns. Very displeased with the service here! Update: 20 minutes later and we were told to pull forward. Lady comes out with an attitude and shows me a receipt and asks if this is my order because she has 2 more cars waiting on her. I said, how am I supposed to know if you don’t read it to me, I can’t read the receipt (too far away) or magically know what’s in the bag. So she hands it to me with an attitude and Sure enough we were missing 2 drinks and a sonic blast. I showed her my receipts and she said okay and I’ll bring it out and walked inside. Guess what? 10 minutes later and nothing. My wife goes and bangs on the window and shows the receipts. She looks at my wife and ignores her. 5 minutes later, a gentleman walks out and asks if we need help. My wife explains the situation and he says he was never told about the missing items. Luckily a few minutes later comes out with our missing items. Worst Sonic Ever!!! Avoid going here and try somewhere else!

Here you go: Went to Sonics a few days ago and nobody ever took my order at the menu screen. Finally had to drive up to the window and guy said they only have 1 headset. Ok, what does that mean? You don't take orders at the menu screen?! I ended up just ordering a fry and a lemonade. Lemonade was great! Fries were greasy and seems like I only got the left overs that cone on the bottom, the tiny pieces- Not good! And while waiting at the window seen a homeless guy kissing his dog on the mouth at the tables there in front. Didn't really care to see that.

Not like it used to be. They used to have quick service, friendly servers, and roller skates! Now? You press the button and wait 30 minutes for someone to get to you, and when they do, their mics are so bad that you have to repeat yourself several times for each menu item. Their payment system doesn't work, so they have to grab your card. The menu has buttons like it's a touch screen, but it's actually not. After you order the food, expect to wait at least another 30 minutes to get your food. I watched an entire sitcom episode and a half before they got to me. After my meal, I decided to order a couple shakes. I pressed the button and waited another 20 or so minutes, before the red button suddenly turned off. I pressed it again and the guy tells me that it's now drive thru only. Would have been nice if they gave me a heads up while I wasted my time initially waiting! *sigh* I've had bad experiences before, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now it's even worse and just sad how poorly they run this place. Goodbye fond memories.

Pulled into a stall and waited for 5 minutes at least after pressing the button and no response. I say hello and no response. Pulled into another stall. Waited another 3-5 minutes after pressing the button. Pulled into the drive through and it literally didn't move for 10 minutes. Waste of time coming here for mediocre food and the worst service. I've been to Sonics all over and this takes the cake as the absolute worst location. Run it right or Shut it down.

My girl and I went here for the promotion of half priced milkshakes after nine. We got there around 10:45 and they had already begun closing their milkshake/ice cream machine. They close at midnight so I was confused. Never the less I waited 15 mins for one order of onion rings and the place was filthy. 10/10 would not recommend for a friend and will not return until management shifts. When handed my bag it was crumpled and almost thrown at me. They clearly do not want to be working and will rush you out the door for their personal vendetta.

For a place that is slow, wow it's a very dirty place! Tables are not clean, I asked for ketchup and the lady pulls out ketchup packets from her apron and they were all stuck together with honey! I was definitely not comfortable here. Don't recommend this place to those passing by, just go to InNout instead.

They don't care about their disabled customers, the server had an attitude, the order was incorrect, and the food was cold and half cooked. I waited in a disabled stall for over 15 minutes and no one took my order. I had to move to another stall, wait 5 minutes to order, and 20 minutes for my food. When I told the server I had to move he said, "that wasn't far to drive" and he said it with a smart attitude. I don't care, that's not the point, the point is I had to move to get service!! I ordered a lemonade slushy that was watered down lemonade with ice. The tattor tots were extra greasy, cold, and half cooked and the chicken was luke warm at best. Who makes customers wait over 15 minutes and not attend to them, make them wait 20 minutes for they're food, and serves them cold food?? The Sonic in Gilroy does, that's who!!!!!!!!!!

This sonic has gone down hill. BAAAAD. Drive thru is the only way you get your food as stalls are unreliable and never open. They never have enough people working to run the place properly. It’s outdated and always has items missing. And does NOT take Apple . Their employees (the little they have) look miserable and I don’t blame them. The photo below is at dinner time. Peak hours. They don’t put signs up that the stalls are closed so people are sitting their waiting to place their order but no one ever does.

Get there after a long day, and they tell us to go through the drive-thru to order. So we did. We sit for a minute or two, saying hi into the speaker (that looks like it would be out of order) and heard no response. We figured we have to order at the window since no responded and sometimes some places will just have you pull up to order and pay and get your food at the same window. Worker comes out and asks us if we put an order in, we say no, then he tells us to go back to place our order. My friend didn't want to drive around so we got out to place an order at the kiosk in front. Can't order there, it has to be drive thru ONLY. It wasn't busy when we went. We weren't the only people to leave either. No food and just a waste of time.

We pulled up after a long road trip and were informed the “systems were down,” unfortunately after hours of hyping up the food to our passengers. Every time we try eating here it’s something with them where we have to go somewhere else. Lots of other good options nearby you can try!

First off, I made the mistake of coming on a busy Sunday afternoon. I had ordered on the app and didn't realize it would be that packed. Pulled into stall #1 few minutes after my meal was supposed to be ready for pick up, but app said it wasn't available so I got out and went to the patio and told a guy my name. Considering I was late getting there I figured my food wouldn't be warm so I waited at least 5 minutes, but nothing, so I went to the drive-thru. Should I have waited? Probably, yes, but I was getting hangry and that line was moving pretty fast. Got into drive-thru and at the speaker it sounds like they can't find my order so I ask, "So you can't find my order?" Soon after she says they found it, with attitude, she gave as good as she got. I did say I was getting hangry and it was now over 20 minutes after the original pick-up time. Now, we all know online orders are ALWAYS sealed when you get them. Mine was not sealed AND it was warm. She ended up stapling it in front of me, but behind the window. I told her that it should have been sealed and that I think they messed with my food now, I mean how obvious, right?! Spoke to her manager Nayeli, only to leave feeling dismissed. Opened my burger and found these hot peppers in it. I screenshotted from the app to show this burger does not come with peppers. Not putting the cashier girls name since she told me she's a minor and I don't want legal trouble.

Sonic is not what it used to be, or at least this location isn’t.. Let’s just name all the bad then I’ll mention the good.. Food was cold, greasy. They forgot our corn dog, they gave us 3 extra drinks (sorry to whoever didn’t get their pink lemonade and sodas) The pickle fries were super limp and cold, the tater tots were greasy (they are usually crisp and delicious) and what the heck is this? (PHOTO INCLUDED) This is supposed to be Texas toast. No sir, this is bread, don’t try and jazzy it up. And dry bread, not a thing on it.. 0/10 recommend and we definitely won’t be back…

Like peanut butter spread to thin. It seems as time goes by this great franchise has failed in this location. I have been sitting in the drive thru for 35 minutes. Mainly now just to figure out how to write this review. I now understand why most of the commercials pride themselves on their drinks. Tasty food and speediness is not their forte. We have ten minutes before they close at this point. We got here at 9:45. We have figured that it would be enough time to get food and their famous drinks. I have even taken my time writing this review. We now have five minutes before they cllose The picture is where we were at. It was at 11:00 closing time. That is the first menu they have in drive-thru. 11:07 and we were able to order. You can tell the bit of service they do know how to offer has stopped at closing. Management should stop by at night so they can see how horrible the service really is. Preferably the last hour and a half before closing. Now you might be asking yourself, why go through experience and spend money they don’t deserve? To write this to let those who are even curious, to find another location. If you come to this one thinking it’s better service, your in for a surprise. We In my recommendation, just don’t. Dear management if you care a bit for you potential customers, please fix this location. Retrain or better yet, train your employees. I asked for a grape slushy with nerds nothing special. This location in Gilroy failed to make their famous drinks also. As I write this after everything I have dropped it to one star. The three drinks were horrible. The cheesecake drink had no cheesecake. The chili cheese tots. The star I have given is for the politeness of the young girl charging for the food. Just to let you know SONIC, If I ask for an item on your menu I would like all the fixings you claim to offer. The employees choosing not to add those ingredients, I would call that stealing.
