Some of the best street tacos I’ve had. This place is underrated!
Great place for authentic Mexican food. I have had their smothered tamales and their street tacos and both were excellent. The service of the food was fast, drinks and condiments generally self service which is appreciated. Proprietors spoke English well enough to communicate and the atmosphere is basic but perfectly fine for a quick meal. Price is normal for this kind of fare, plenty of food for the dollar. Overall a nice spot to grab lunch or a quick dinner.
Not only was the El Retador burrito one of the best burritos I've ever had, the young man working the counter this afternoon made my day with his smile. People underestimate the power of a smile. After the subpar customer service I've received at many other places around, it was a nice change of pace and I will be back! :)
We love this place! I get their Birria tacos & they are delicious & my husband gets the Dos Manos burrito that he loves! We eat here 2x a week.
A great new find. A bit of a hole in the wall, but often they are the best hidden gems. Family run with a great selection of menu items. I stopped in for the steak and egg breakfast burrito and it was wonderful. I actually had to have them cut it in half and wrap it separately as I would not be able to finish in one sitting. Bonus! I have breakfast for tomorrow.
Food was made fresh, great flavor & quality. Our group ordered chicken quesadilla, numero uno burrito, mixed fajita tacos with corn tortilla, and the street tacos 🌮 everything was so good! Will definitely come back to try other things on their menu - their breakfast menu options sound great as well!
I Love when it's my boyfriend &15⁸ day to eat out and we choose CHAMPION BURRITO! It makes me feel like jumping up and clicking my heals together, because their burritos are DA BOMB!However I am not trying to break anything by attempting that, Soooo I'll just pass along my thoughts. 🌯🔥😋
Service was slow but there were only 3 people there, everyone was friendly and the food was amazing, I got the number 2. At first I thought it was just a burrito spot but they have so much more. This will definitely be a place I come back to every once in a while.
PROs: Good location. Plenty of parking. Indoor seats. Friendly service. Food is good. The carne overflowed on my tacos. CONs: A fee was charged to use bank card. Approx $27 charged (with cash tip) we ordered Carne Asada Tacos & Steak & Eggs burrito. It's nice to have Northland places to get breakfast burritos rather than going South of the river.
Decided last minute to get a breakfast burrito and saw this place on the map. I've been to other locations, so thought I'd give it a try. Never had their breakfast yet. The steak and egg burrito is really good. Has jalapeño, so gives it a nice kick and the sauces are excellent.

Wow. Super find. Fresh Mexican food, seasoned great, and a nice variety. We ate in. I had a steak burrito bowl. Fantastic, great portion, comes with chips. Wife had the chicken street tacos - she said the chicken was seasoned perfectly. We also had the Chips and Guacamole- all seasoned well. Steady stream of people coming in and takeout orders we observed while seated. A nice gem in the city in Gladstone! Delicious.

Love these burritos! I've had several great experiences. Fresh ingredients and cooked to order. My only gripe would be they don't trim the steak so you can get a lot of fat chunks from time to time. It's pricey as well. I mean $15 for a burrito is crazy, but it is 2025 😭
The only evidence I have being here is an empty plate. I had their steak burrito with the hot sauces. The pair smelled so good I forgot to take a picture of the actual food. The only complaint I have is that they’d sweep and mop the entire dinning floor while still serving clients.
Good service, place was clean, but they really skimped out on the meat in my “burrito grande” mostly a potato and bean salad wrapped in tortilla. Very disappointing for $15. It should be a meat avalanche. The Tacos were good and saved the day. Probably won’t be coming back.
This place e is usually good but I mostly go get the off DOORDASH menu items. Twice now I've had delivery and I keep getting burned. Either there is hardly any protein and lots of potatoes or like today I ordered a bean cheese and rice. LOOK at the pics. It's like they spread the beans on then piled the rice and cheese. Also burritos are nothing like they look. Tortilla is almost wrapped around twice and lots of tortilla on the ends.. really disappointed in my cheese rice burrito and tiny CHEESE and little bit of beans.. SMH.
Ordered on the website and picked up 3 steak and egg breakfast burritos that was trash. I expected real eggs and grilled or even pan seared steak. The texture of the burritos were wet. The meat was wet like it was in a pot from last nights shift soaking in beef stock and they threw it in the burrito with some mushy powder eggs like the ones from the school cafeteria. After a few bites I quit, my husband quit and my 1 year old daughter wouldn’t even eat the mushy juicy eggs ewww. This was our first and last time eating here. No need to call and make a fuss about a refund, champion Burrito just gained and lost 3 customers in one day. Make fresh Ingredients. I would absolutely love to add the pictures on here but I don’t see how I can which is weird.
