Came across this fabulous place whilst out exploring. Wonderful food and exceptional service. Tapas perfect in every way.

We found this little gem on our last visit to Tenerife 2 year's ago, and were keen to visit again on our recent trip. Food is lovely the staff are all so friendly and helpful and there is a lovely atmosphere in the place. It was my birthday on our last visit, and little touches made for a very special birthday lunch. We have visited both at lunch time and in the evening with the same standards on each trip.

Fitted us in although very busy. Didn’t have to wait long. Great food and service . Had a full Tapas selection . All fresh and tasty.

The third year that we came back to the same place and everything was exactly how we remembered! Very good and friendly service, nice food, good atmosphere and quality and prices are optimal! Great jobs guys we really appreciated your hospitality. We will be back next year!

Went to this place for the second time this week as I wanted to try the lamb shoulder. Wasn’t disappointed, it could have fed 3 people. Superb food from the ala carte menu, but the tapas looked equally good too. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely be returning again soon

Probably the best restaurant in Golf del Sur. Amazing welcoming and efficient staff who are very helpful. There is an array of tapas dishes and apart from the menu there is a board mounted on the wall with specials in tapas and main course and it’s a dessert lovers dream. Klimatyczne wnętrze zachęca do spędzenia tam wieczoru i degustacji kanaryjskich specjałów. Dzieci też będą zadowolone z menu wykraczającego poza nuggetsy z frytkami. Zamówiliśmy klasykę: deskę serów i wędlin, krewetki z czosnkiem, paski wołowiny z krewetkami, zapiekanki z pomidorami i serem, kanaryjskie ziemniaki ale tu zaskoczenie- brakowało sosów. Obsługa bardzo zajęta, ciężko było uzupełnić zamówienie bez wycieczki do baru. Niemniej chyba najlepszy wybór dań jak do tej pory w tych okolicach Teneryfy.

One of the best restaurants in golf del sur. We were lucky to get a table here due to how busy this place really is, I would advise to book before you go? The restaurant has a very typical Spanish feel to it and its really beautiful. The waitress was so nice and very helpful with recommendations on what to eat. The food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner, well presented and served with a smile. This is a truly wonderful restaurant for an evening meal and you won't be disappointed in any way.

Cóż mogę powiedzieć, przepyszne jedzenie. Deska mixta zniknęła ze stołu tak szybko że nie zdążyliśmy nawet zrobić zdjęcia! Najlepiej przyrządzone krewetki jakie mialem okazję jeść. Nie jest najtaniej w okolicy ale szczerze polecam na kulinarne podboje.

Von außen unscheinbares und ziemlich verstecktes Lokal, das seinesgleichen sucht. Nach Betreten des Restaurants füllt man sich sofort wohl. Authentische spanische Küche, sehr nette Bedienung, großartiges Ambiente und grandiose Speisen. Alles in einem ein sehr gelungener Abend.

I know 14 is a lot but we had a good group of us...😃 The beef and potato stew was lovely. Add the sweets and a G&T and your finished.... Especially after a Tiramisu.. served with a coffee liqueur dip!!!

This is a brilliant tapas restaurant. There is so much choice on the menu/specials board. You can see the chef cooking the orders. Bar and waiting staff are super friendly. We go at least twice on every holiday we have to Golf del Sur.

Amazing food and drinks! Great service and relaxing atmosphere. We started with a jug of sangria which was amazing and the tapas came out straight away. Very fast service. Our favourite was the Calamari with aioli. We finished with a Tiramisu to share and the amazing Barraquito coffee! Totally recommend!

First meal after 18 hrs travel to get to Tenerife. This place did not disappoint, the tapas tasty and fast! Lots of gluten free options. Would come back if visiting this part of Tenerife.

Fabulous authentic Spanish Tapas restaurant with a huge variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Combined with an excellent wine list, this is a must visit for anyone who is staying in Golf del Sur.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough!! If tapas is what you want then you have to come here! I think I’d have to say the fillet steak might be the best steak ever… and I mean that. Been coming here for over 20 years now and every time we come back the staff are they same and make us feel so welcome!

4th time we've visited this restaurant over a few years. The food, service and atmosphere have always been superb. I've been eating curries for over 60 years and can't remember eating any better than the beef Madras we had tonight. This was our second visit this holiday and again the food and service was wonderful. If you're ever on Tenerife, visit this place, some of the best food I've ever tasted.

Great find on our walk around Golf Del Sur. The food was top-class, served by efficient witty waitresses and a great Spanish atmosphere. Me, my brother and dad cannot fault a single aspect of our meal; if we're on our holidays here again, we'll definitely eat here and I'd recommend it to anyone that's nearby!

Voor een echt Spaans avondje tapas ben je hier op het juiste adres. De inrichting is wat je verwacht bij een wat ouder tapas restaurant. Het is authentiek en puur. Dit merk je terug in de goede service en de gezellige sfeer. Het eten is goed en er staan gerechten tussen die ik nog niet eerder ergens anders gezien heb. Het eten is best goed! Een absolute aanrader is de cava sangria, die is heerlijk! De cheesecake is het enige wat voor mij tegenviel, omdat ik in Nederland een hele andere cheesecake gewend ben. Top avond gehad en zeer goed betaalbaar!

Visited Tapas Pata de Oro during our time in Tenerife. The food was okay, but definitely on the pricier side compared to many other spots in the area. Something to keep in mind is that the service charge isn’t included in the menu prices, so you’ll likely end up paying a bit more than expected. Overall, a decent experience, but there are more budget-friendly options around with similar quality.

Nos atendieron muy bien, la camarera un 10. Las tapas algunas muy buenas y otras no tanto...los calamares no tenían prácticamente rebozado y estaban como chicle, las papas bravas tenían buena salsa pero no estaban crujientes por fuera...los chipirones muy ricos..el chorizo picante muy bueno...

50euro, vedi foto, per tapas: 2 di pesce, 2 di terra, 1 pane e 1 bottiglia di vino locale. Ho mangiato molto meglio spedendo molto meno. ___ Dopo la risposta del proprietario: Sinceramente la scelta del vino è stata l'unica cosa veramente molto buona; è il motivo per cui non ho dato meno di tre stelle. Il vino aveva un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Anche il personale è stato gentilissimo, purtroppo è proprio il rapporto qualità-prezzo delle tapas che non mi è piaciuto. Comunque, prendendo il vino della casa avrei risparmiato soltanto 3/4 euro secondo la lista dei vini.

Cuisine moyenne, service un peu long. Prix abordables mais rien d'exceptionnel. Si vous cherchez des tapas savoureux mieux vaut aller ailleurs.

Der Service war in Ordnung, sprich solide. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Das Essen ist in meinen Augen komplett vorgekocht und in Konvektomaten gelagert. Denn nach der Bestellung von nur Tapas Gerichten, hat es keine 8 min gedauert, bis alle 7 Gerichte am Tisch waren. Von den Gerichten waren die Rippchen und die kanarischen Kartoffeln am leckersten. Ein wenig Schade. Fürs eigene Empfinden passte hier das Leistungsverhältnis nicht zum Preis.

Een tegenvaller. Het eten was niet vers en daardoor viel de smaak tegen. Verder was een deel ook niet genoeg opgewarmd. Het restaurant zag er niet erg gezellig uit en we hadden erg veel last van vliegen op het terras.

This place is way overrated. Maybe 'local' tourist find it appealing, but the only reason will be they didn't try real Tenerife food elsewhere. Seating is good, staff is ok, but the food it just terrible. We've had - meatballs in chilli tomato sauce: this one was really good, we ordered it twice - spicy chicken drumsticks - over fried and completely dry - serrano ham - it was nice, not prepared here, overpriced considering serving size - deep fried baby squid - no taste - gambas al ajillo - terrible, no taste at all, slimy The beer was nice, but avoid for a lunch/dinner.

Wir waren bereits einmal dort. Das Essen war insgesamt gut und die Kellnerin damals sehr freundlich. Ein Salat de pimientos war zwar verdorben – kann passieren – wurde aber freundlich gehandhabt. Heute wollten wir dem Restaurant erneut eine Chance geben. Leider wurden wir schon am Eingang sehr unfreundlich abgefertigt, nur weil wir keine Reservierung hatten. Dabei waren viele Tische frei, es war etwa 20 Uhr und es hätte keinerlei Problem sein müssen, uns einen Platz zu geben oder zumindest höflich zu erklären, dass gerade alles vergeben ist. Stattdessen wurden wir behandelt, als wären wir lästige Gäste, was nichts mit „Temperament“ zu tun hat, sondern schlicht unprofessionell wirkte. Schade – nach der ersten Erfahrung hatten wir eigentlich einen guten Eindruck. Nach heutigem Besuch können wir das Restaurant jedoch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Pizzas mediocres igual que las tapas. Un restaurante más que tima a turistas y que no hace honor a la buena comida que hay en España. En resumen tapas caras y de mala calidad. No regresaría.

No representa auténticas tapas españolas, aún así la calidad de lo que pedimos no estaba mal del todo... Pero no lo recomiendo.. con la de sitios auténticos y riquísimos que he probado en Tenerife.

One day, we ordered the meatballs in tomato sauce and found them absolutely delicious. Impressed by the taste, we returned the very next day and ordered the same dish. Unfortunately, this time the tomato sauce was noticeably watered down. As a result, the flavors were much weaker—the spices were barely noticeable, and the tomato presence was minimal. We brought this to the staff's attention, but they seemed uninterested and did not address our concern. Edit: We actually told the waitress twice — once during the meal, and again at the end. So it’s honestly both ridiculous and kind of funny to read the false claims in your reply. The waitress said, the food was “the same as yesterday” and “no water was added,” then what were we supposed to do? It was obvious that nothing would be done about it, and we were going to pay for it anyway — which we did. And yes, we did finish the food — after we complained. What’s even more surprising is that you took a photo of the empty plate after we had already voiced our concerns, and you're now using that as some kind of proof that everything was fine. Honestly, I have no comment. Maybe instead of taking a photo of an empty plate, you should’ve actually checked the food while it was still on the table. Don’t you think? Also, the suggestion that we were just trying to get the food for free is completely false. We paid for our meals on both days — around 90 euros each visit. Based on your response, it seems that spending that amount isn’t enough for your restaurant to treat people with basic respect. If it’s acceptable to serve watered-down food and then mock paying guests online, that says a lot. We came back the second day because the food was genuinely great the first time. If it hadn’t been, we simply wouldn’t have returned. So your assumptions don’t make any sense. It’s honestly disappointing to see a restaurant post this kind of response instead of taking feedback seriously. Judging from other reviews, this isn’t the first time someone has had a similar experience. Hopefully, things will improve and your future guests will be treated with more honesty and care.

We had the tomato meatballs yesterday and really enjoyed them, so we came back today. But this time, the whole dish was watered down — all seven of us had the same thing and it was completely tasteless. There was no tomato flavor at all, it just tasted like water. Definitely not the same as yesterday. We mentioned it, but the staff was incredibly rude and clearly didn’t care. No wonder the place is empty. Avoid this place. Small portions, rude staff, bad food.

Siamo stati in questo posto il 12 Novembre 2025 dopo essere atterrati dall' Italia. Ho ordinato del formaggio con olive e papas arrugadas (patate tipiche che avevo già avuto modo di mangiare a Gran Canaria): olive nere denoccialatale di scarsa qualità (sembravano quelle comprate nei sacchetti a 0.99 cent al discount), 4 papas contate super salate oltre misura, servite senza la classica salsa mojo ne' con olio. Abbiamo preso della sangria in brocca, ma era annacquata ( come chiedere un Chianti in Toscana e ricevere un vino in cartone). Posto normalmente frequentato dal classico turista in cerca di comfort più che di autenticità. Del resto quella zona dell' isola è molto costruita su misura per questo genere di clientela. Tanta scena e poca qualità. Il mio compagno ha preso un piatto di seppie, nulla di eccezionale se non che il pesce era fresco. Prezzo nella norma, ma non soddisfatti. Inoltre ci hanno fatto sedere nell' unico tavolo libero, in corrispondenza della porta d'entrata, che era aperta e, nonostante avessimo chiesto di avvicinarla, essendoci molto vento che entrava, ci è stato risposto che non era possibile. Quindi abbiamo dovuto mangiare con il giubbotto addosso.

We had the worst tapas ever here. We were greeted rather unfriendly by the waiters, we were told that almost all the tables were reserved. Until the end of our dinner, not one of the supposedly reserved tables was occupied. Very strange. We ordered classic tapas, albondigas, bread with dips and arancino (fried balls filled with risotto). The albondigas were unseasoned and lacking in flavour. The arancinos were still frozen and cold inside. It can therefore be assumed that no freshly prepared tapas are sold here. We asked the waitress about this and she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't say anything. What a bad picture. No reaction from anyone. The crowning glory of our visit came with the bill. The prices shown on the menu are net prices. The VAT was added on top of the prices shown in the menu on the final bill, something we have never seen before in Spain. I am not sure if that is legally compliant (see photos) We can only strongly advise against eating tapas here! We were hugely disappointed and feel ripped off.

Fint ställe med öppet kök där kockarna stod och lagade maten. Tyvärr stressig miljö och dålig service. Vi fick vänta länge på att servitrisen ens tog vår beställning. Och maten var smaklös och alldeles för dyr. Vi blev mycket besvikna då vi hade sett fram emot vårt besök på Pata De Oro…

Terrible food. Totally disappointing. And no, I didn't get the wrong restaurant, I also attach a photo of the menu as they deny having 'fried catch local fish' which is, however, served in the form of an oil-filled nuggets (photo added since the restaurant denies - shame!) I had dinner here and it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The so-called “catch of the day” was just a few deep-fried croquettes, soaked in oil — not fresh fish, not even close. They tasted processed and had nothing to do with real seafood. The sole fillet was overcooked and drowning in a strange buttery or creamy sauce with mushrooms that tasted awful. The fish was dry, the sauce was heavy, and the whole dish made no sense. And the “Canarian potatoes”? Just plain boiled potatoes, undercooked, and served without the traditional sauces (no mojo rojo, no mojo verde — nothing). Completely wrong and very bland. Overall, the food was lazy, greasy, and badly made. It felt like a tourist trap pretending to serve quality food — but failing in every way

Horrible, pan congelado, pizza congelada e igual las gambas al ajillo. Calidad pésima y precios elevados.

Me acaban de clavar 2,25€ por una caña y ni siquiera me pusieron nada para picar, no me pillan mas.

El servicio ha sido lamentable...muy lentos, se han equivocado con la comanda y la cerveza estaba caliente. Hemos comido en la terraza a oscuras. Además, de comida española tenía poco.

Somos gallegos y hemos pedido una de las cosas de la carta que se supone que era tortilla de patata aparte de tener un tamaño ridiculo como dos dedos de ancho nos han cobrado la friolera de 6 € por ello y para rematar estaba seca insipida y le han puesto una especie de alioli para intentar arreglarlo ,lo hemos pedido como primero para comprtir y en ningun momento nos han dicho el tamaño de la racion por llamarlo de alguna forma creo que el servicio aunque la camarera ha sido muy educada deja muchisimo que desear se nota que estan por facturar y les da igual hacer fidelizacion de clientes una pena pero no lo recomiendo
