This, lovingly, wasn't our first choice for lunch but it ended up being a great second choice! We came in on Saturday afternoon and were met by a relatively quiet setting which was perfect for our first in-law family lunch. Our hostess was wonderful and patient as the five of us looked over the menu amidst swapping histories for the first time, and we received our food promptly! Even my mother in law, who has severe food allergies, was able to safely order with no flare ups or accommodations. While everything we got looked and tasted good, I personally highly recommend the ahi salad. It's genuinely been too long since I had ahi that beautifully red and buttery; I have thought about the salad, but especially the ahi, every day since. It would have been nice to bug Ed and Candy at The Restaurant, but if you miss our friends, the Clubhouse is just as good (:

Wonderful stop mid-afternoon. Lovely view and quiet from patio. Kitchen closes 2 pm (opens later for evening) but they offered sandwiches or hot dog with chips plus beverages. Interesting to view waterfowl and golfers on course.

Attended a wedding in Portola from out if state. What a beautiful view across part of the golf course. Reminded us of home in Montana. Great friendly service and food was so good at lunch we came back for breakfast the next morning with friends.

Pleasant staff, good service, well prepared varied enough options with outdoor dining available and almost it’s impossible to not have a view in Graeagle so we are very pleased to have dined here this morning breakfast.

A nice little course in a great location. The course is mostly well maintained. Only the tee-boxes were a little rough. Very friendly staff and a nice pro shop. Recommended!

If you want a challenge play the blue tees. The starter and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The course is in great shape. The bloody was pretty good.

Very pleasant to sit indoors or out. Casual friendly vibe. Food is good, and on par with most other options in Graegle. Just don't expect a wow factor. Tried their Bloody Mary, and would pass on that in the future.

Really nice place for lunch - crowded when we were there so not quite 5 stars but on any other day I am sure it would be. Very friendly and a nice assortment on the menu.
