Fuimos a comer el lunes (festivo) sin reserva y nos buscaron una mesita para dos súper rápido. El dueño es un hombre muy atento a su clientela y cercano, nos hizo sentir como si lo conociéramos de toda la vida. Además del buen trato, la comida espectacular: La cerveza de barril buenisima (estrella damm) con una tapa de morcilla espectacular; una de las mejores ensaladillas que he probado; media racion de tomate con melva (una buena cantidad para ser media) y unos huevos rotos con jamon (patatas caseras que se notan en el plato). Sin duda repetiremos porque fue una experiencia inmejorable.

Fuimos a cenar en pareja y nos atendieron fenomenal, muy simpáticos☺️. Es indispensable probar el entrecot, buenísimo!! Las bravas caseras y la tarta de tres chocolates casera de 10 también. Lugar recomendadisimo si venís a granada!!

Buen sitio para tapear y comer/ cenar. Es un sitio pequeño con ambiente tranquilo, hay mesas altas.Nos recomendaron el sitio y sin duda no nos ha defraudado. Tienen variedad en carta y la opción de pedir media o entera la ración. El trato, la comida y el ambiente ha sido de 10. Lo recomiendo!

Sin palabras, espectacular. Trato excepcional y comida de 10. Sin duda volvería en mi próxima visita a Granada. Habéis hecho que una valenciana y un ilicitano, se vayan con un muy buen sabor de boca en cuanto al trato de la gente de Granada y su gastronomía.

Todo increíble, pedimos diferentes cosas para compartir y cada plato mejor que el anterior. Un trato exquisito y cercano. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaremos!

Muy buena taberna en el centro de Granada. Cuentan con mesas altas en la terraza y un interior muy agradable. Pedimos su ensaladilla rusa, que estaba exquisita, y sus flamenquines, para mi el mejor que he probado. Muy bien de cantidad y de acompañamiento. Venía con patatas y un poco de ensalada. Los huevos rotos no los destacaría tanto. Creo que tienen platos más especiales en carta. Destacar también las tapas, muy ricas y generosas. Se agradece. La atención fue muy buena en todo momento, fuimos atendidos muy rápido y de la mejor manera. Lo recomendaré y repetiré

Such a cozy and beautifully designed little place. The atmosphere feels very welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff were extremely attentive, checking in on each table and making sure everything was perfect. The food was fantastic – we ordered three dishes to share between two people and truly enjoyed every single one. Each plate had its own unique flavor and was prepared with great care. This place definitely deserves its rating, and we left feeling very satisfied after a wonderful dinner.

We had dinner here recently and honestly, everything was amazing from start to finish. The owner is such a warm, sweet, and energetic person — he welcomed us like old friends and made the whole experience feel personal and special. He loves to chat and share his positive energy, which really sets the vibe of the place. The staff were also super friendly and always smiling, which made us feel very comfortable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed — modern but cozy, with a really nice atmosphere. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into every detail to make it feel inviting. The background music was soft and pleasant, adding to the overall relaxing mood without being too loud or distracting. And the food… wow. We ordered the egg dish with ham and cheese plate, the slow-cooked meat, and the entrecôte. Every single dish was full of flavor, cooked perfectly, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. We also enjoyed the drinks, which matched the food really well. It’s not easy to find a place where the food, service, and atmosphere are all this good, but this restaurant truly nailed it. We left super happy and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience and great food. Reasonably priced and thoroughly recommend going here if you want something special and are looking to enjoy your night out. You must get the Russian salad shown here. The proprietor got second in a food award for this but it should have been a first in our opinion. We will make sure we go back when next in Granada. Will miss this experience so hopefully whoever reads this will make sure to go in our stead. You won’t regret it !!!

Service was fast. The meat was well prepared and we all finished our plates. It is a busy street but we had a great time at this restaurant. The meat is the hero here. Do not expect a lot of accessories except for some fries and some peppers. But the meat was perfect. The menu had something for every one.

We had a wonderful dinner at Taberna El Mentidero on a trip to Granada. The restaurant and patio were full but a kind server set up a new table for us outside. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and received a free tapa of some sort of fried dumpling. For our meal, we shared the grilled vegetables and the steak. The grilled vegetables came on a sizzling hot plate — they were prepared simply with olive oil and sea salt and tasted delicious. The steak was also delicious. The server brought us a separate cast iron hot plate so we could sear our steak and eat it hot since we were sitting outside. Service was friendly, relaxed, and not rushed. I would dine here again next time I’m in Granada!

Without any doubt the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Andalusia. The owner is very friendly and he recommended us the best and most typical dishes of his restaurant. I strongly recommend the ensaladilla rusa, the alcachofas con foie de mollejas and the presa ibérica de bellota. We didn’t order the flamenquín but we deeply regretted it as it looked absolutely delicious. The dessert is superb too. I definitely recommend this place if you visit Granada, you won’t be disappointed!

Llegábamos con las expectativas altas porque era un sitio que nos habían recomendado previamente. En un principio tras tener la reserva hecha, nos dijeron que no la tenían apuntada, aunque finalmente nos montaron una mesa en la terraza. Ahora bien, entrando en la experiencia, la comida está bien con un precio razonable, el servicio es amable pero es cierto que hay otros lugares mejores para comer/cenar.

Nos recomendaron el sitio y la verdad es que estuvo todo muy rico. Es el lugar perfecto para compartir raciones. Pedimos ensaladilla con huevo y ajo, que estaba buenísima, las patatas con huevo, jamón y queso de cabra y el flamenquín, que estaba muy jugoso. Es un sitio pequeñito, nosotros tuvimos suerte al ir temprano, pero es recomendable reservar. Intentamos una segunda vez y no tenían hueco.

Bastante buena la experiencia en El Mentidero. Buen ambiente, el sitio pequeño pero muy acogedor y buen diseño. El trato y la atención bastante buenas, ganas de agradar. Buena carta de comida y buena variedad de vinos. ¡Imprescindible las alcachofas con foie! Otras cosas muy buenas pero sin llegar a la redondez. Es un sitio que seguro que irá a más. Lo merecen.

Taberna con amplia variedad de comidas, con posibilidad de pedir medias raciones de muchos de los platos de la carta, así puedes probar más variedad. Todo lo que pedimos nos gustó, por poner un pero la carne (presa) demasiado hecha. Tienen muchas referencias de vinos. El personal atento y servicial. Muy céntrico. Recomiendo llamar para hacer reserva.
