They give you a ton of food for a really reasonable price. Everything is fresh and the employees are very friendly. The dining room is clean and fully stocked and the patio is a really nice option. This was my first time but I already look forward to visiting again. You should definitely try it out. There is tons of options in food and beverage. You won't be disappointed.

The amount of food was good but the amount of salt didn't allow me to enjoy the meal. We ordered the asada fries. The service was ok. It was a bit busy. Some people just go to snack and have drinks. Saw 2 containers of margaritas but didn't try. The food was appealing but the taste was disappointing. Hopefully we just got the bad ones. I might try again, not sure at this point. ***This is an update, it took me some time to go back but I went on 07/16/22 and I must say that their steak fries are right on point. Huge portions, as you can see in the pictures. I couldn't finish my portion! They corrected the salt issue from the past, their prices are great I wish that the meat had less chunks of fat... Worthy to try it!! A guilty pleasure! ;-)

Pollo salsa never disappoints, their service is A1 and the food is beyond! This spot supports veterans and I appreciate that about them. The salsa are delicious, the tacos are great, and the asada fries are always hitting the spot! Come here if you want something that will hit the tastebuds good! I also recommend their aguas frescas as they are also delicious. For a great price, all of the menu items would be worth trying at this place!

This place is amazing the food never dispoints especially because I hold a high standard for Mexican food growing up working in a family owned restaurant my self . The best part also they offer margaritas to enjoy with your food . If you get the chance come eat here I personally guarantee 💯 the food here

This is my favorite place to eat in Grand Prairie. It’s the first place I go when I get to town. Very very fresh and very, very friendly.

For less $ than CiCis pizza I had a great lunch! Loved the chicken and large salsa bar! 2 pc chicken lunch came with rice and beans and 3 tortillas and a drink all for less than $11.00! I recently got a lunch buffet of pizza with a drink and it cost $11.02. I'm very happy with the quality of food and the value at Pollo Salsa!

I've had this spot on my "Want to Go" list for YEARS. Finally had a chance to stop by for the 2lb burrito. We got one of each and they did not disappoint!! All the ingredients were fresh, staff was friendly, the melon aguas frescas was delicious, and we'll get two meals out of about $15 apiece. Will certainly be back!!

If you want some recommendations from this place ...I have my favorite dishes here...and obviously the chiken, the flautas, caldo tlalpeño soup and the chiles rellenos there are the best...they have a/c to keep the heat from the grills that are working very hard to have enough roast chicken production, which is their main dish. In summary, good service... the price is fair, even a bit high, but it definitely has better service and flavor compared to the pollo regio and pollo loco chiken

Nice cozy place for Mexican food, has good old vibe with music and lots of salsas for every taste buds. You cannot tell awesomeness of this place by just looking from outside, you have to get in there, order food and eat it right there

Today I had the chicken fajita platter. Large servings for me. I was able to get 2 meals out of it. Food was hot, guacamole had a good flavor and the charro beans were great.

One of the best restaurants in DFW. Everything tastes fresh. Their grilled chicken is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The flautas and carne asada fries are incredible. There is not a bad item on the menu. Portions are big and their fresh salsas and aguas frescas are second to none. Check this place out if you have the chance. You will not regret it!

Great restaurant customer service and great Salsa bar I ordered the San Diego Burrito Adobada with a Aguas Frescas Limon my friend ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Verde Sauce and a DR. I’ve been here a long time ago and it is delicious. It’s a distance from my house but I drove all the way home and my food was still hot and fresh. The tacos weren’t soggy. I was shocked because I know when you get crispy tacos from some places they’re soggy by the time you make it home. But I did not have that problem. Everything was good and lettuce was fresh. I loved their green salsa it was just the right amount of spice. But I love spicy but to me it wasn’t very spicy. So check it out at your own discretion.

Went here on Cinco de Mayo just by coincidence and it was packed. We got a loaded potato, 2 pieces of the chicken, corn and mac and cheese, a pina aqua fresca and a martini. The guy at the register…

I ordered a #1 combo 2 piece chicken with mac & cheese, black beans. For price the Entrée is small and VERY DRY, but good flavor. Mac n Cheese about a 3. The black beans 5. Not worth the price. In my opinion had all the salsas live the habanero n the diablo.

So I had seen this place on an advertisement post on Facebook. Decided to make the drive from Mansfield to Grand Prairie. And man I have been looking for somewhere to get carne asada fries from and OMFG these were TO DIE FOR! Met every expectation my taste buds had! Went during happy hour and margaritas were great also! Cheap and stronggg! Only reason for the 4 stars is 1)I specifically asked for shredded cheese on my carne asada fries instead of the nacho cheese and it was on my receipt and everything and they put no cheese on it. It was fries with meat on top. Then when I go ask them to fix it they acted very annoyed with me even though I specifically ordered it a certain way and it was on the ticket! I don’t appreciate being treated that way. And 2) sour cream doesn’t come on it which I think it should. Makes it sooo much yummier. When I went to ask for some it was 2 freakin dollars for a tiny cup of sour cream. really? But besides that those carne asada fries made all the hassle worth it! Once they were actually made how I ordered them. Lol sooo good!!

Pretty good food. It gets packed in the evening, so come early. Some of the plates are also unequally sized. Expect to pay about $2 per street taco vs $8 and some change for a huge burrito.

I don't like to posts negative things but I'm making an exception, the food is always delicious full of flavor. The problem is they took 25 minutes to get our order it was a to go ,it wasn't a big order or complicated just enchiladas, tacos de carne asada,and chicken ,I seen all these orders being picked up by customers who had ordered after us ,I went and asked she said they're working on it and pointed to the stack of paper orders they're in, but it still took another 10 minutes I didn't let me upset me but my grandchildren were with me and hungry and tired I was feeling for them, she didn't even get our drinks and kids were very thirsty ,like I said It didn't get me personally but for the lack of nit offering the drinks we had already paid for and waiting 25 minutes is wrong on their part . I was apologized for the inconvenience or anything else . I could have created a disturbance so everyone would know, but I kept quiet then . I'm just letting you know how we were treated.

Good food. This place is always packed. Its different that they have tip on the recipe at drive through. They whole of the property is a bit tight for parking, but theres a place in back for overflow. This is a great goto for lunch.

Been here multiple times, mostly for lunch. But, I decided to try their breakfast. Ordered the Chilaquiles verdes, with some extra chicken. Because? Pollo Salsa, of course. It was awesome. Don't let the picture fool you, it was a lot of food. I almost was not able to finish it. I will definitely be returning.

This was a nice place to visit. The staff was nice & helpful. They had Large selection to choose from & that made it hard to pick something when you wanted to try everything. The chicken is marinaded well, but there are small pieces given. The chicken was better than the beef. Now when you order enchiladas, they will use the same meat to the nachos. Still it's nice. The only other complaint I would have is that all your food doesn't come at the same time & you'll have to make sure that all your order is made.

Drive thru specifically states it could take 20 mins so be prepared to wait. I went around 7pm on Friday and didn’t mind. Still went pretty quick. I got mixed fajitas and they were just ok. Sliced not strips. I had to add salt because I didn’t taste much seasoning.

Then the second time o asked if they could cut my burrito in half and she flat out told me no , I asked why and she said she doesn’t cook them . I just started working in this part of town and was on the hunt for some good tacos. This place has excellent tacos and top notch salsa. However, my first trip here with a buddy from work was not a good trip. We ordered in and sat at a table, waited about 20 minutes for one of the servers to then come to our table and ask what we ordered. The last time I went with two guys from work and when they brought our food I didn't get the al pastor tacos that I ordered, they were beef. I also didn't get my coke that came with my meal. The food is really good and I would be here many times per week, but I guess they just don't want me around here.

I use to love this place but they changed some stuff their agua de melón I think they mix it with powder now. The rice is a little different too.

Ordered through the drive-thru when paying with my American Express credit card I was advised it didn't go through...twice (this card has well over the available credit to make whatever purchase I need at the time, this time it was just a $18 lunch). My credit cards are set up to notify me right away when a transaction comes through approved/declined, I didn't received a single notification while still at the window. Since I was in a rush during my lunch hour having only grabbed this credit card. I then opted for the digital wallet payment using my bank debit card which surprisingly too their device wasn't scanning it. Had to leave my food since "according to them" none of my method payments were going through. Stopped by Subway which is a few lights over and what do you know, my credit card went through using the tab option just fine without any issues and right away I've got my transaction notification alert on my phone! This was an embarrassing experience for me!, either they update their payment method system or train their employees better to know how to tab/swipe a card!! Meanwhile will be getting my lunch meal somewhere else.

I spent over $80 for a to go order and asked for utensils and plates for 4 and they refused to give them to me. They wanted to charge for them after I had already paid. It wouldn’t have bothered me so much but I was taking my husband food at work and they had nothing to eat on or with.

I purcha 12 piece family meal (1 and 1/2) chicken total of $42.54 When leaving i ask for 1 extra sause since they only put 2 in my order. She said we already put in the bag and i said yes u put 2 and i order the family meal. So she said she could not give more. I said okay if i buy one how much she said i sell only by 4oz and 8oz so the 4oz was $4 something and 8oz $8something i was just give me 4oz. When i get home i see my receipt and they charge for 8z so basically double the price. I honestly think 2 salsas for a 12 piece is to little i just ask for one extra this is ridiculas Definatly not coming back to that location

Awful place to eat . Cashier was acting so unpleasant that I walk in. I had questions that she seems so annoyed I asked.... this burrito was made with so much hate. What I mean by that is that it looks like is far from fresh and it was just thrown together... never come here again...

This place over charge for the service for a meal that can be $14.99 you end up paying $18.00 with a Tax + service fee a To-go order on top of that another fee for paying with card this place is a really big scammer watch out people you will end up paying more for service than for the food they give you. Beyond disappointed with Pollo Salsa paid $10.99+ tax for what I thought was the "big burrito" I order this all the time when I go here. I was given a rice burrito literally little to no meat inside. The menu says it includes guacamole as well had none whatsoever literally rice and sour cream. I have never had this issue before not worth the time either ordered at 7:36pm did not receive by food until 8:10

This place is good in taste it felt like a ripoff. I had paid 11.56 for 3 pieces plus a drink. But this is not consider 3 portions of chicken they cut each portion by half way. I think it’s over price . I can get more chicken for the same amount at pollo regio.

I came here, excited about eating here. The prices have definitely increased and I ended up paying $65 for a kids meal and three plates. I was OK with it, but when I received a drink that I did not like I went back and asked if I could change it for another one. The manager denied me and I asked if I could just return it and get my money back. They also denied that and said I would not be getting my money back. I then asked well what am I supposed to do with this drink if I don’t like it? Their response was throw it away either way you’re not getting your money back. The staff is absolutely rude. I should never have tipped them. I will be calling my bank and disputing the charges along with the tip. I do not recommend anyone coming here. Their attitude is nasty and they are greedy with everything. There is no area for you to get forks and napkins. They bring them to your table and best believe you’re only gonna get one of each. If you dare to ask for more, they will look at you like you are crazy.

The food was good but those workers have an attitude that makes you not want to return. They don’t all speak English or what so when you ask for a ‘carnitas quesdilla’ they will give a ‘fajita quesdilla’. They will fight you to simply remake something you want to eat and worse, refuse to refund and throw something together just to have you gone. Not worth your hard earned money.

Today we drove from Ft Worth to Pollo Salsa’s Grand Prairie location only to find out that they had run out of flautas.. their grills we’re full of chickens, yet they were not willing to make our flautas. It took us over 30 minutes to get there for nothing, this is unacceptable!! They obviously don’t care but they have lost us as customers.

Just stopped by this afternoon with my daughter to eat their chicken, so we ordered two combos that came with their COMPLIMENTARY sides of salsa. We ended up eating most of our food since it's, you know, what we ordered and were CHARGED for at the register. Time passed by, so we decided to head out. We asked to take the rest of our food to go, including the COMPLIMENTARY sides of salsa. I decided to pour all of the remaining COMPLIMENTARY salsa into a separate container that came with the meal that we PAID for. Our waitress suddenly came out of nowhere after seeing me pack my food and told me that she will be charging me separately for taking the unfinished sides of salsa home. First of all, if the COMPLIMENTARY salsa wasn't free to take home, WHY was it not charged to us in the first place? If this restaurant is too stingy to let the customers take COMPLIMENTARY sides of salsa home, then maybe they should reconsider giving it away for free only to change their minds when they see the customers take their sides of salsa home. The story doesn't end here folks, after I left the restaurant, I got a stomach ache and started throwing up chunks of chicken from the meal we ordered here. First you scam your customers, and THEN give them food poisoning? GET IT TOGETHER! No customer should have to deal with a having a RUDE waitress that seeks out customers to over charge when she FAILED to notify them beforehand that they cannot take the salsa home. May I also suggest that the cooks here actually WASH their hands before touching the chicken? It is NOT that hard to maintain a clean kitchen and restaurant. Ridiculous!!!

I have a question for you Pollo Salsa. What's the food cost on, let's call it 15 chips that would have filled up the container in the picture. Maybe .50 cents.....maybe? We'll today it cost you a repeated weekly $16.60 customer. I eat grilled chicken a lot and just moved here. I work out every day at the planet fitness next door and decided to try you out. When I went to get a few more chips to finish my meal, the girl refilling the salsa rudely told me the chips were free until 3 pm only. I probably would have bought some had she even bothered to ask or be customer friendly. So you been her a while? Hopefully, you don't treat everyone like this. I'll just go find the closest Pollo Regio. The food is better, chips are free and it's cheaper!!
