I ordered a delivery so I’m not actually sure about service and atmosphere, but I have to tell you, after the first bite of the double cheeseburger, I wouldn’t care if I had been there and were awful. 36 years I roam and I finally had the best burger I’ve ever tasted. Fresh, meaty, crumbling and juicy. For me, there is no other burger place in central Texas. The catfish and fries are also delightful. Best part? So affordable!!!!!!!’

Wanted to add a picture, but I was so amazed when I opened my box and saw that double burger, that I totally forgot I had a cell phone... The burger....OMG, it was great size, the bun was tasty, fresh ingredients and even after a 10min drive back to work, it was hot... My co-worker had the spicy chicken and I am having that next as He told me it was amazing. Wish it was a sit down place, but is a great place in any case. Service, second to none, you are treated like you are their favorite cousin :)

Thank you for saving dinner tonight! Before coming to JD's I was disappointed to find my rotisserie chicken that I ordered from a grocery pick up wasn't cooked all the way. The chicken looked like it took a bad beating as it was bruised inside. Anyway, I found JD'S, and I wish I had found it sooner. The chicken is seasoned to perfection! Hot and crispy too. Thank you! 😉

When I tell you that was the best chicken fried steak I have EVER had 🫢👍🏻🥰🙏(aside from my mamas) whoever cooking is doing God’s work 🕊️ This place is worth all the money but their prices are so reasonable. I’m blown away honestly. Still eating but had to do a review immediately because dang. I’m in heaven.

This place is DELICIOUS! I had the chicken fried chicken. Seasoned to perfection, breaded perfectly, not too thick with the perfect texture. The chicken was moist and tender. I could cut it with a fork! The crème gravy was the right thickness and also seasoned perfectly. My sides were mashed potatoes and corn. Both perfect. My husband had a burger and fries. He said he hasn’t had a burger this good in a long time! Needless to say , we will be back. Delicious food and the best service.

My kids love the tenders the chicken fried steak is really good too the breakfast sausage and egg biscuits are one of my go to and saving the best for last are the mango habanero WINGS!! Hands down the best wings I've ever tried even better the Wingstop!! They some how made a wing tender and so juicy and buttery!!

Very good! Daughter loved the Dino nuggets with fries. My son had the classic burger and loved it. I have grilled chicken and bacon sandwich (10/10, and my husband had chicken fried steak sandwich. We loved the jalapeño sauce on both our sandwiches. We will definitely be back!

I ordered 4 burgers and 2 fries to go for our first time and it was amazing! My picky eaters ate the burgers with all the toppings and no complaints. I will be making this a regular stop! Thank you! Glad we supported a neighborhood small business tonight!

You normally have to wait approximately 15 minutes for your food to be freshly served(and it's definitely worth the wait). Their prices are very very reasonable. JD's has the best chicken that I've ever eaten(hands-down)...I would give JD's ten stars if it was attainable. Keep up the good work...y'all just gained a new member to your regular customer base✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I ordered my burger and fries over the phone and was surprised that the time she had told me was absolutely spot on. Burger was fantastic. Fries were impeccable- not at all burnt or unflavored. Ranch was in bad like I had asked, and napkins. Counter lady was very polite even at the end of her shift. Wonderful restaurant and a regular in my future! *not a place to sit and eat. Take the food to go. Very small shop right now but sooo good!!

We went for a grilled chicken bacon sandwich meal and the spicy chicken bacon sandwich meal. The fries are battered (we loved them) but it is good to know in advance and there are several other sides on the menu. My wife loved hers. For me, the cutlet was a little thin and didn't have the kick I was hoping for (I love heat) but it was still a good meal. I expect to raise this rating on the next visit as we think about the burgers, the chicken fried steak sandwich, salads, wings and tenders to try in the future. I now know why we always see cars there.

Food is always good, fresh, and hot. Owner is really nice! Just wish there was a place to eat there so we can eat it fresh and not have to sit in our car. My favorite is the fried catfish and hush puppies. Wish I could get a basket full of the hush puppies.

I had to throw away the rest making me gross out.
