Excellent food all round our party of 5. I'm gluten free and that's sometimes a hurdle when eating out but I was catered for exceptionally well. 20/10 to the two chefs and the same goes to floor/bar staff who made the most delicious cocktails with all the trimmings.

Absolutely delish food and lovely atmosphere

My husband and I eat here quite regularly. I booked in late for mothers day and Lloyd arranged for us to sit in the middle area. He even sent me a picture of the seating to check it would accommodate my elderly grandfather. The restaurant was busy but the service was still brilliant. The food is consistently good, home made and really reasonably priced. Cocktails are always really good too. It's my go to restaurant in Hartlepool.

I recently had a meal at Wallis and co. We had a fish platter starter which looked and tasted amazing. A feast for the eyes before the taste buds kicked in. Then we had catch of the day. All done to perfection. One of the best meals I ever had. The chef came out when I thanked them and the staff were so attentive. Kev, Lloyd and Meg and the others made my night very special. Ordered 2x Takeaway Beef to eat in M/Home over looking the Marina, and have to say what an excellent choice cooked to perfection, fresh seasonal vegetables well presented (Hot) and plenty of gravy & big Yorkies We'll be back . 5 ☆ Excellent

We had an absolutely amazing meal here following a family graduation, and everything from start to finish was spot on. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just lovely — relaxed, welcoming, and special. A real standout moment was the staff’s thoughtfulness. Some of our party vape, and given the cold North! they stepped outside — the server immediately went out and turned on the outdoor heaters without us even asking. Such a small thing, but it showed real care and attention. The cocktails were honestly to die for 🍸 — beautifully made and dangerous in the best way! We’ll definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place. Thank you for helping make such a special day even better.

Had a Good Friday evening meal here, fortunately finding space after booking just a few hours before. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive and I think everyone that served us was exceptional. The food and drinks were also superb, good portions and very flavourful. dessert was also top tier. One of my best food experiences for a long time.

Absolutely love the vibe of this restaurant especially from the Valentines menu! A bit of a late review but I had such an amazing time there. The staff were so friendly, attentive and very helpful with my dairy allergy. Definitely worth a visit!

Had a really great Friday evening at Wallis & Co for food and some drinks, with my wife and some friends. We all had their Prix Fix offer (£20 two courses) and also their cocktail offer (£14 for 2). The food was really superb, with a mix of fish and meat courses. What matters also is the service and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Nothing was a bother.

Last minute family visit so didn't book but managed to fit a group of 7 in. Food and service was top drawer with everyone commenting on amounts and quality of the food on there plate matched by a service from the staff where they were attentive but never overbearing will defo be back many thanks. The picture added doesn't do the Sunday roast justice but it's all I took

Nice clean restaurant in a pleasant marina location, staff are loverly and the food looked home made and not your usual mass produced rubbish. Great drinks menu and outside area is kept nice and snug via well positioned outdoor heaters, would well recommend if in the area

I went to Wallis & Co most recently in between Christmas and New Year and had the steak. Oh wow, absolutely delicious. I had the chimmichurri sauce which was amazinggggggg, plus gorgeous chips.

We had the flat iron steak rare that was cooked perfectly, the rest of the meal was excellent and service was great. Would highly recommend. But be aware that you have to pay for parking.

Fabulous relaxed atmosphere despite being really busy. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food is to die for especially the slow braised beef and the prawn and hake curry. Will definitely be going back and thankyou Hannah for being such a fabulous waitress, nothing was too much trouble.

Popped in for a cheeky beer while on business. Dead on a Tuesday but guy behind the bar was really friendly and welcoming. Well kept Hells and a great range of spirits Next time Ill have a Mozart Spotlessly clean

Very nice eating establishment. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who wants a great eating experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for me. The food was excellent and was very well presented. The service was excellent and was exactly what I expected. The price represents great value for money. Overall a great experience.

Really nice little bar/restaurant. We popped in to see the live music and decided to eat there too. The steaks were great, and even though it was a packed Saturday night before Christmas everything ran really smoothly. I was driving but the cocktail menu was impressive, and a good selection of beers and gins too.

Just finished, apparently the best parmo my eleven year olds ever had lol x Our first time here; the food was lovely, Great atmosphere especially the live band playing in the background and to top it off the bar staff were so polite and friendly certainly made us feel welcome so we will definitely be back! X

Absolutely gorgeous. We had afternoon tea for £13which included soup, sandwiches, scones and mini cakes. Fantastic value for money. Staff were very friendly, helpful, polite and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Wedding anniversary today and, despite not being able to leave the house, wanted something a bit more than the usual takeaway to celebrate. Fantastic hot meals and chilled cocktails, amazing service by the patient staff taking the order over the phone and speedy, friendly delivery. All on the first day of easing of restrictions, where they were no doubt run off their feet. Thank you to all!

Came here really last minute on a Saturday night due to a cancelled food booking elsewhere and we had a great time, Hannah was incredibly accommodating considering there were 8 of us last minute and she looked after us the whole time making sure we always had drinks and even when it came to taking our food orders she made sure everyone got exactly what they asked for with no mistakes, and the food all arrived at the same time so nobody was sat waiting. Will definitely be back :)

Excellent chilled out atmosphere. Food was excellent with big portions so make sure your hungry. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Visited Saturday afternoon not very busy 2 cocktails for a tenner good selection of gin

First time trying this place and soon as we went in i could feel that the heating was on which made me happy for a start as many places are cold. Smiling friendly staff made us welcome on a cold february day. We tried the bacon brie n bacon sarnie (ciabatta) with a side of chunky chips and washed down with a cappucino. Everything was hot and tasty very nice

Visited on a Tuesday night and had the steak sharing platter which was really good. Back in Sept '24. 14oz Ribeye was good. Service was OK given there were a few customers.

Nice atmosphere, good food and cocktails but really expensive

Lovely atmosphere when you walk in but the food is really overpriced, it's average and the service was just awful. We waited well over an hour for a toasted sandwich and the staff weren't very friendly a simple sorry for the wait would of gone a long way, don't think we'll be going back.

Family booked for my birthday, starters where good. However my order for the main of a steak was wrong getting chunky chisel instead of seasoned fries like i orderd. They changed the chips to fries but they kept the same steak that was cold when I got it. Staff tried to be helpful but if a chef can't cook a steak what's the point

Food is average, main courses were not as nice as expected. Cocktails are very nice but the service is exceptionally slow. Staff members were slightly rude. Bar has good seating and is stylish. Would return in the hope that the chef could adequately toast a pitta bread.

Food was ok, waitress was great. Manager totally let the place down. He said it was too busy to split the bill so I could pay for two sandwiches and 2 cokes before having to leave before the rest of the party due to pre arranged commitments. I know how much it was and was happy to pay more to include a tip. He refused to work it out despite only having two large parties in.

Booked this venue for a birthday party. Most of the meals where good but some where so under cooked they could not be eaten but were told this is how it comes as its a blood vassal that's broken and a fish that was more batter than fish. Then my daughter goes back to pick up her cake and balloons only to be told that the cake has been put in the bin. Sorry but a free drink does not cover the disapiontment.
