We meet here once a month. The restaurant and staff are wonderful. The food is delicious. We love Angie's Restaurant
Great Service, Friendly staff. Offered different specials Food was great, Prepared as requested.
Surprisingly nice restaurant for the area. Prices are fair and service is good. The food is amazing !! It seems like they use quality ingredients and the chefs actually take pride in what they do. My family and I love this place !!
This became the breakfast place for my Mom and I. We get the chilaquiles! Was very delicious, not too spicy but a great flavorful kick, perfect portions! But can definitely take some home and even reheated the food was great and didn't lose its integrity. And I hate reheated food (unless it's pasta). The coffee is perfect! Not watered down. The customer service was good too. We always had someone there and waiting on us and also struck up great conversations
Love this place! Always great service and food. Food is always of very good quality, nice presentation, and pretty much always consistent. Great portions as well. Diner style, great decor, and music. Gives you the vibe you expect. Keep it up, please don't change!
Good food, reasonably priced and friendly staff
This place is wonderful. The service was excellent and the meal was beautiful as well as GREAT!!! I had the Denver Skillet and my company had the Chicken Fried Steak. We found a place that we will come back to often. Thank you 👍
This is one of the best places around they are super friendly. They are, their food is good. Everything on the menu is good. I've been there multiple times a lot of times and so have my friends and they're very accommodating and I just love this place. The food is fantastic
Always get a good breakfast each time I come in. Staff is one of the best in town !!! Very clean and the prices are reasonable
He went for a late lunch not knowing that that restaurant was open again. We had a great lunch, great service. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch not sure about dinner yet because we haven't gone for dinner. Restaurant was clean, restrooms was clean. Atmosphere of the restaurant was '50s Diner. Pictures of old cars racing cars on the wall plus pictures of movie stars. They have two rooms in the back for larger parties if needed. I highly recommend this place
We have become regulars at this diner after church, and it's the only place we will be eating at on Sundays. I love their Philly Benedict it's so good and never disappoints. The prices are great for a family of 5. we don't spend more than about 85$, and food portions are perfect. im never disappointed. The waitresses are super sweet and an overall good service. Im very happy we found this diner.
I don't 🙂 know why we waited so long to try this place!! Angie's is now in our top#3 when we go out. They have a bit of everything to choose from and their portions are generous. The decor is happy and the music 🎶 is very good. The wait staff is very very nice .
We haven't lived in this area very long and we decided to try a new place. The Angie's closest to our house was not open. So we drove farther west down Florida and ended up with this one. Boy am I glad we did! The food was fantastic and hot, the service was just as good if not better than the food! I'd recommend this place for breakfast lunch or dinner as they have a big variety for everybodies taste buds. And we will return!
Me and my kids went here a few times and it was good. It's a diner sitting really chilled. I tried the taco salad it was GOOD. I try breakfast, pancakes was yummy. I didn't like the home fries it was kinda raw potatoes BUT the waitress was extremely nice and didn't charge me for it. I will continue coming back.
The food is great, the atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable, and the service is outstanding but the reason that I keep going back there about 2-3 times a week is because of this cute little waitress there named Bety... You guys should consider giving her a promotion...
I ordered the fish n chips, it includes coleslaw and tartar sauce and I also had malted vinegar. The fish is perfectly battered and deep fried just right, the coleslaw is not overly sweet or saucy and the chips are the base of the plate. Overall it was a perfect plate of fish n chips and our waitress was very nice despite the crowded dining areas. I will be coming back for more. 😋
First time here as we just moved to the area. All I can say is WOW. The food is prepared exactly as ordered and the flavors compliment each other. I had the Monterey burger and the peppered pastrami on it made the burger that much better. My gf had sweet potato fries and asked for some kind of dip. Erika, our waitress, brought out a marshmallow sauce. The fries disappeared like thanksgiving yams. The place is very clean and the decor is great. We will definitely be back.
Can't go wrong at Angie's. Solid Americana diner menu and everything we have ever tried has been delicious. Some of the servers are better than others. But, we've never had any problems or concerns. Recommended!
Second time here. It is comfort diner food and it is good. I prefer this spot over Denny’s or IHOP. The prices are reasonable for big portions. My family of 4 paid about $55
Love their food. Fast and friendly service.
Truly nothing is better than stopping in at a diner in the American West. What’s not to love?? Awesome decor, great biscuits and gravy, and, of course, the familiar yet equally wonderful diner coffee. There were some old cartoons playing on the tv, and I don’t think I’ve sat down and enjoyed Popeye since I was a kid. Overall a fantastic experience. I came shortly after it opened, so I was the only one here, but I can totally imagine this place when it’s hopping.
Fifties era and car enthusiasts will love the atmosphere but will come back for the food!
Cannot recommend this diner enough. Place is very kept and clean. Food is amazing, and service is great as well. We’ve had Efrain serve us both times we’ve been and he’s great.
The waitress was very friendly and gave us great service. The inside is very cute. It has an "Old Hollywood"/ 1950's theme. It looked kinda small but they had other rooms that were hidden behind curtains. It was pretty clean and very cute inside. The food was good and the service was great! I would go back.
Absolutely fantastic! My brother was a regular customer. He recently passed away. Due to him, we were able to enjoy and learn why he was a regular customer. Great atmosphere and excellent food. If we return this way, we'll be back. Thanks for taking care of our brother thru the years.
Food was very good.. my dad took us here cause he enjoys eating here, says he always comes here, more than Denny's or IHOP.. That is high praise!
I had lunch there today with my ladies group. This restaurant has been well decorated in the 50's mode and is very clean and attractive. We each ordered something different on separate checks. Our waitress was very attentive and took our beverage orders immediately and brought our drinks right away. I had a coke. When we were ready to order our waitress took her time with each of us and was knowledgeable about the menu when we would ask her questions about certain dishes. It seemed we all ordered something different off their many choices on the menu. When she arrived which seemed soon, she brought extra napkins with her. I ordered eggs Benedict with hash browns. It was perfect and absolutely delicious. Someone else had a ribeye steak which looked great and I was told it was very good. There were hamburgers, a tuna melt and meat loaf is all I remember and everyone was satisfied and happy with their meal. I enjoyed my time in this restaurant as did everyone else in my party and intend to go back again soon.
We come a very often to this location, as well to the one by State and Oakland. Same wonderful owner. Today and every time Jackie treat us like family, Also Zulema on the other Location, not to Forget Jenny alway make us feeling like we are Family. Restaurant, restrooms, always spotless, every one always happy, smiling, plus the food is A+.
Wonderful local place for food. Very good food. This trip I had the Chili Verde Omelette and it was delicious. Been here many many times, my folks live out here, and have never been disappointed. Fun 50's Americana decor and very attentive service. Excellent prices and BIG menu. This is not a 5 star Chris and Pitts type restaurant. This is a 5 star DDD style restaurant that has great food and great service at great prices. Not sure about who is reading this review but if you are looking for small servings, snooty service, and high prices you are in the wrong neighborhood. BUT if you are looking for great food from great servers and the prices are great. Add in good music and decor and this is worth the stop. Again and again and again.
It's a classic 50s and 60s themed American diner with some South of the border options food is great service is good I would recommend
Fun diner with great nostalgia of the area. Service is wonderful, food has great portions.
I enjoyed a delectable plate of eggs bacon hash and biscuitsNgravy, that was served timely, with a good cup of hot coffee in a nostalgic throw back atmosphere. Recommended for breakfast.
Very cool atmospheric diner with great menu selection, and the staff has always been welcoming. I love ordering breakfast here
My friends took me there and I enjoyed my grilled chicken cobb salad 😋🤤🥗 Thank you
Great place, went for breakfast today, delicious. Fast and friendly service with a smile 😁.
Great food, service and prices
Dining in at this restaurant was soothing. Our server was kind and available, always asking is everything good. I ordered the wet green chicken burrito. I didn't expect sides, but it came with mexican rice and beans. I must say, it was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles. I snuck a piece and it was tasty. The kids ordered cheese burgers and pizza. The burger is REAL beef. Let me just touch bases on the drinks. The raspberry ice tea I ordered was yummy as my Hubby had the shirley temple which he enjoyed. I would recommend you to visit this family restaurant. 2 children eat free if you must know!
Wonderful rainy day lunch in 50's style diner! Classic menu with breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, salads + more! Everything seems to be homemade, the Albondigas soup was delicious, and a meal on its own! We ordered a Club Sandwich (stacked high) w/fries and a perfectly grilled Patty Melt (with added tomato and avocado) w/coleslaw. Delicious sandwiches and great fries w/ ho-made ranch, coleslaw ho-made and unique in a great way! There was a pineapple upside cake on the dessert menu which was not ordered but it might be worth its own visit! Service was great, Geraldine was the best, really took care of us!
This place is always busy. Good sign!! Food is great, service is fast and there is plenty of parking. I have only come here for breakfast. Im sure if the breakfast is great so is the rest. Its a must if your into good food and great atmosphere.
We arrived around 4. Not too many people in the diner. Food and service were excellent. I liked the atmosphere of oldies music. Didn't want to leave during a good song.
Food is great and very reasonably priced. Not very cozy atmosphere. Good place to come when you’re hungry.
Angies has very good food & excellent service & exceptional atmosphere. We hold small meetings there monthly & have to pause proceedings to sing along with the 50s & 60s music. I look forward to going every month.
My wife and I surprised my father n law for Christmas and we wanted to grab a bite after dropping off our rental. This place caught my eye. So happy it did. Great staff, great food. Up and down the menu. Will definitely be our regular spot when we visit. Cheers to Angie’s!!!
I will begin by saying the food here is delicious, and the price is right! My favorite dish are the chilaquiles verdes. But reality we have never gotten anything that hasn’t been good. The people who work here have always been nice and friendly. They can accommodate a party of 2 to a party of 10 or more. Last time we were here we had a party of 10 on a Sunday and we were seated pretty quick, and the drinks and food came by quickly. The decor in this place takes you back to what the 50’s may have been. It’s a walk back in time. Definitely recommend this place for the place, the workers and most of all because it’s always delicious here.
I love this diner, Its a local gem! I ask my nephew where he wanted to go for breakfast for his 18th birthday. He automatically said Angie's. Their staff was extremely nice and on top of service and even sang Happy Birthday to my nephew.
I would love it if the big rice was playing soap operas, game shoes, or anything other than Bonanza, but I get it. There is something so amazing about having breakfast at 2pm. The Walnut Banana Pancakes were recommended and were so so good. So good, I almost drove back just to thank the blessed hands that made the meal. I'll be back to try to the biscuits and gravy. Highly recommend!
We came to Angie's on a whim because me and my husband love exploring different restaurants, so upon arriving we fell in love with all the chrome and how clean the restaurant presented itself. They are very 50s and old Hollywood oriented almost like a Ritchie's or Mel's. Staff was very nice and the atmosphere was very calm, it brought me back to when me and my husband first met. We enjoyed their ice lattes, which all come with optional whipcream and two shots of espresso. The burgers are big and delicious. There's nothing you could get on the menu that you probably wouldn't enjoy.
The servers are great and know everything about the HUGE menu! Every thing we have ordered between the 3 visits was very good. All the food was brought out very quickly every time. Great coffee too! My only thing that I could complain about, please wipe down the condiment bottles and the salt and pepper shakers, they feel a little greasy/sticky.
I'm so happy that I discovered an amazing restaurant to enjoy a nice meal at. It's always such a treat to come across a place that serves up scrumptious food at prices that won't break the bank. If I ever find myself in Hemet again, I'll definitely have to swing by that restaurant and give it a try. And it's even better to hear that the staff there was friendly and hospitable - that really makes all the difference.
3rd time at Angie’s ( first since the reopening ) And everything was really good. Actually way better than it used to be. Got the chicken fried steak 3 eggs hash browns and biscuits & gravy all tasted great. Got a huge cup of coffee that they kept full Service was great. Restaurant was super clean and they got some good music playing Will be back soon
My Husband & I came for the very 1st since we been here in this town since 2016. We were so hungry for breakfast we wanted something different tired of IHOP & DENNY’s. Our waitress was friendly & very helpful making sure everything was fine with our food or needed anything else, very attentive. The food was very delicious too. Thank You Angie’s Diner staff
Went to Angie’s diner for the first time. They were very accommodating with our request for chicken and waffles, since we didn’t want chicken strips. We got the chicken dinner but swapped it out for scrambled eggs and cheese, then added the bananas to the waffles. Wonderful!! Good experience, we will be back
We visited the newly re-opened Angie's as we love Little Angie's. Service was great. Our waitress was very up beat and friendly. She checked on us often and accommodated our special request. Food was delicious and full of flavor. Drinks were yummy and filled to the brim. Fruit was sweet and fresh. I posted pics from both places. We love the atmosphere of this place! The decor rocks and the music matching the era makes it pure magic! Keep up the great work! The new place allows for more room, but either establishment won't disappoint! Looking forward for another great visit!
Great food good service. Comfortable atmosphere.. Nice decor very nostalgic and reasonable prices.
Angie's has great food. I love there pastrami sandwiches and French frys. Double crispy fries.
Everyone was friendly. The food was great and cost wasn't bad.
The breakfast is pretty good here. I feel that the prices are in line with the going rate for a breakfast in this town. The service is always a 10 plus; very pleasant and efficient. Always making sure that you are pleased with your meal and have a full cup of coffee. Always very clean too.
Good food the service is great as well ,the restaurant could use a deep cleaning but it's fine!
No one is perfect! But Angie's is very close to perfection. It's not in the greatest location. I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy the food, their prices and food portions. Great atmosphere with the music!
First timer here and i loved the atmosphere of the restaurant wish i could’ve recorded it , the food options we got weren’t to bad but maybe i should’ve tried something else i got the chilaquiles with potatoes but the chilaquiles weren’t all that for me definitely coming back to try more things
5-2024 They know their audience, the menu is massive with a lot of options. All sorts of different food was ordered, from burgers, to steak, fish and soups with a larger group. I went with the california burger; still enjoy the seasoning on the fries. No complaints around the table, pricing is about $13 starting per meal *Tip to the owner/manager: your clientele is over 60 yrs (other than myself) and they all want desert included with their meals; make that an option and you'll get more repeat business. 2019 Great service. Decent portion sizes clean restrooms. the food was good had a burger and the rest of my party at a mixture of salad and chicken dishes. We will be coming back
1st time going to this restaurant. Food did not have very good taste. I got Machaca with beans and home fries and did not have any flavor. Service is good. I would like to give it another try just to make sure the cook was not having a bad day.
Service today was beyond disappointing. There was a large/private group at breakfast (seems to be the norm every time we come), plus the normal dining room crowd… And only one server. My food sat in the window for at least 10 minutes (I saw when the cooks set it up) and part of it was ice cold when delivered to the table. Server never checked on us/came near the table until it was time for the check. I was clearly upset and the server immediately turned to the kitchen staff in blame for the cold food. Good food - poor service due to lack of proper staffing.
RETRO LOCAL DIVE w/ NICE STAFF! I love how professional the staff were here, they were kind and brought my food out quickly. There's a lot of older folks with bad attitudes who eat here, so the staff are real troopers. My waitress was nice but could've been slightly more attentive. However, overall they treated everyone nicely so that saved the day in my book. The breakfast here has greatly improved! I got the Burger Patty & Eggs Meal and it was so filling and delicious. It came with a grilled burger patty , eggs, pancakes and hash browns, I recommend it if you're feeling extra hungry, which I was! I paired it with a nice, tall glass of orange juice and I was totally happy. The restaurant is a hub for families, grandkids and of course their grandparents. It's a nice environment for kids, however the older patrons are quite bitter and have staring problems so be aware. I like the restaurant's classic music playing in the background and the "Ruby's-esque" vibe. There's murals of retro cars and checkered floors, it's definitely worth a visit. There's booths and a bar for solo diners. I really liked that there's room for parties of multiple sizes. I came on a weekday morning and it was pretty lively. There's plenty of parking around the restaurant. I pulled in with ease.
I love a good diner but I’m sorry to report Angie’s didn’t live up to any expectations set by other reviewers or past positive experiences at other diners. The butter on my toast wasn’t melted and the bread wasn’t toasted despite somehow being crispy [or just day old?], the bacon tasted and smelled as if it was off, the hash browns were so crispy they could break a tooth and the corned beef hash was only cooked a bit on the outside and seemed straight from the can still on the inside. And my partner’s patty melt & fries were a letdown on the end as well. Lastly, we waited so long for our food, we almost left instead of continuing to wait. I know everywhere can have an off day and I hope that was all we experienced! But I wouldn’t return to find out.
Service Was non-plus..desert pictures as you come in which were obviously refrigerated dry and tasteless.. odd tasting dry cold biscuits and gravy keep being promised more than the Half filled cold coffee we were told we were getting as we were seated and never got.. the only thing nice about this place was the movie/ 50's themed pictures on the walls.. we were recommended this place because of the deserts and atmosphere well we have seen it ..won't be back
Was not happy with this place. The reviews don’t reflect. Also my daughter had a hair in her sandwhich. Even though they didn’t make us pay for it but the fact that it was in there was gross. Really was expecting better. The incident occurred Sunday the 20th of oct around 10:30 and yes this is the correct location.
Food - subpar and overpriced. (Tough chicken breast in Cali sandwich and hardly any avocado. Meat was also super small compared to the sourdough.) Service - mixed. Nice enough server, but not very attentive. The new host guy is pretty good. Management - horrible. Enrique seemed bothered that he had to come out front to talk to me. He clearly doesn't care about the food quality or presentation or the timeliness of his staff or whether or not a customer returns. So we won't be. Atmosphere - black, white, and red diner. Updates look nice. I just wish they spent some time and money on staff and management development. Spending your money locally doesn't always feel awesome. Bummer. Hope you have a better experience than we did.
I brought my granddaughter here for the first time, hoping she would have a good experience, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. After nearly finishing part of the breakfast we ordered, the waitress finally came to our table to give us the bill. I mentioned that we still hadn’t received the rest of our food. She left the table and returned with a to-go box containing the remaining food, but without any apology. I explained that we hadn’t ordered the food to-go—it was supposed to be part of her breakfast. I then asked if there could be a discount due to the inconvenience. She said yes and asked me to wait. When she came back, she had adjusted our ticket and gave us a discount of just a dollar and some change. I was extremely disappointed and do not plan to eat here again.
The Burger with sauce was SLOP. What a mess. The BLT was terrible.the bread was hard as a rock. Barely any bacon, lettuce or tomato. The cottage cheese was sour. Never going back.
