Polite staff; worked well together from my observation; quick, but it was very busy; the drive thru was a long line in two ways but moving and inside had pick-ups and on the spot ordering, had a line.
Good Fried chicken. A fast food place keep that in mind. The side cup portions could be larger.
I ordered a family meal not too long after they opened for the day. I had to wait a while, but I don't blame them. Food turned out fantastically for a Popeyes.

The most amazing experience in my life. This reminded me of the chicken that my cousins mothers sister made for me one time. Great. This stupendous endeavor inspired me to get a wife and to finally quit drugs. The wonderful drinks reminded me of a quaint Tuscan time in southern Latvia when everything was peaceful and exiting. While my wife later divorced me a few months later, I still enjoyed that period in my life. After getting divorced and having my kids taken away, I have started a new path in my life, learning clarinet. Sadly clarinets are extremely expensive so I have chosen recorder instead. What an instrument!!! The tone is quite beautiful and I have already played at the plain view community college for performing arts for my recorder teacher. She says I sound like some of my other students. While I don’t know what her other students sound like, I think that was a compliment. More about the restaurant, the tables and floors are very good! Once I fell on the floor and there wasn’t one smudge on the floor. Although I through up a couple seconds later, I felt it comforting that the building was very sturdy. So basically, that’s my life. I guess when I was a kid I went to New Jersey one time. That was crazy, my pet dog accidentally ran a way when I got to my grandparents house. I really miss it, but maybe it’s in a better place now. Or it’s still on the front of that persons car when it rammed into it. Once I rode a horse when I was 11! So that’s basically it, wish me luck on the recorderOh yeah, this restaurant is very good. Ok bye.
This POPEYES is it. The employees are so friendly - Eli always hooks me up -I always get some extra tenders, and it’s always clean inside. Drive thru is super quick too!

Food us fresh. Hot. Delicious. The staff on a Sunday is very nice. Sometimes the drive thru is slow, but that because the food goes quickly and they need to make more.
Stop by here the first time on 10/19/24 and was assisted by Rosa. She was very courteous and patient with assisting me because I am not a frequent customer of this store. I will definitely stop by here more frequently from now on. The food was great too.
Picked up a precooked turkey on monday before thanksgiving. As per instructions kept it refrigerated 72 hrs. Heated it up on thanksgiving day and it was perfect! Thank you Popeyes!!!!
Popeyes never misses. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and seasoned like someone’s grandma was back there blessing every piece. The biscuits were perfect (and didn’t even choke me this time), and the fries were fresh, hot, and actually had seasoning on them. The service was fast, the workers were friendly, and my order was 100% correct — a miracle in fast food. This Popeyes deserves an award. I’m definitely coming back.”

I don't understand how Popeye's operates, in general. But once someone noticed I was standing there they had my online order in my hands fast. You can't go wrong with their spicy chicken.
Fantastic chicken sandwiches. Food always comes hot, delicious and doesn't look like they just throw it together. The food looks and tastes good. Only issue is the constant wait/line, expect to wait a bit in the drive thru. Overall, great popeyes franchise.
The food was very greasy, but I suppose that's what fast food is. Nothing out of the ordinary compared to other Popeyes. Nice place to get your food and go. Service moved relatively quickly. Area around it is near a high way. For those who like Popeyes, it's a decent place to go to get it.
The drive up moves fast, compared to the one in Baldwin. The only problem I found is that there is sometimes a language barrier when ordering. When I was there I asked for specific pieces and spice levels, and they did not get that correct. Also, I wanted their Premium Popeye's Lemonade, and they did not seem to understand that. Well, you can't get everything in life, even when it's Fasssstttt Fooddd. The Chicken tasted very good, Mash & Mac n Cheese are good. There is something to say for standardization. It's a good visit.
Excellent food, the employee taking the order(drive through) made me feel like I was an inconvenience for her. Still, she was quick, accurate and helped me with my questions. That was the only reason I couldn't give it 5☆s.
Mostly friendly employees. I ordered a three piece meal. The wings were small, but the breast was ginormous and juicy. The exterior could use sprucing up and navigating the parking lot can be treacherous. Prices are high for the quality of food received.
Food was good. Production was quick. The line does get long due to high demand, so I would give yourself an extra 5mins if you're going during the dinner rush, especially in the drive thru. All in all good was good and staff were pretty quick.
The location was clean. It was fairly quiet in terms of customer traffic, at the time of my arrival (mid afternoon). The staff was friendly and expedient with my order. I was just in the neighborhood, but this is not my usual Popeyes store location visit. However, I would definitely revisit.
Chicken is usually fresh and pippin hot. Service is truly dependent on the manager on duty. When the employees are happy its usually because they don't have a tight manager on duty so you may get more personality from them. Otherwise, you'll get crabby service and attitude.
1/22/2025. Still under construction. The boneless wings are still very good. This time with garlic sauce (at work, I was sitting alone today, so garlic breath did not bother anyone}. I tried ordering online today, it was a smooth easy process and I got what I ordered. Another happy experience. Latest latest visit 3/25 for the hot wings. I had the classic hot sauce with ranch. SOOO SOOO GOOD. Can you tell I really liked them? Latest visit: the sweet and spicy hot wings were terrific. Tasty, crunchy, and delish. I asked for a lemonade and got orange soda. Didn't notice until I sat, ate, and drank. Running short on time so I didn't bring it back. The place is going through construction so bleh. The place was clean despite the construction. Previous visit Everything was up to Popeye's norm except the tenders weren't upto their crispy standard
Great food! The location is poor . Not enough parking. They need a larger piece of land to accommodate parking, drive thru, indoor seating , and 2 bathrooms. Make all these changes a Hofstra will make you rich and famous
Got a 12 piece family meal the Chicken was fresh and hot. The fries as well, the mashed potatoes were good, they could've kept some the gravy though. The biscuits were exceptional. Overall pretty good
food is a hit and miss here. the wings tend to be small and over cooked sometimes.
Disappointing day. Using their app for $5 shrimp Tackle Box i believe it was called. At the register., displayed the app and promo. Before I could say another word. Egos of we don't have this nor that., only this., doesn't support $5 promo from the app. Only had popcorn shrimp., combo...$15.00., thank you., but no thank you. And Left. Went to another near by location. Told the same thing. Three a charm. Told the same. 🙃☹😤😄

Went to place and order here waited a good minutes to place the order because the employees here playing around with each other's and telling each who to take order laughing joking around showing stuff on the phones and laughing. The seating area was dirty and homeless peoples sleeping on the table and peoples asking for money by the door as well. Management need to train the employees and keep the place clean and customer come first. I won't go back to these locations again.didnt feel safe.
The food is good, but the service is not the best. It took over 10 minutes for my order to be ready. The Kiosks in the restaurant make it easy to place an order, but ordering on their app is overly complicated. Their app is very slow and glitchy. It, for whatever reason, did not allow me to redeem my points for a free drink. I could only get the drink (or a food item if I chose that instead) by paying full price for it. Speaking of prices, Popeyes is extremely expensive. Good luck finding a meal for under $10 here, although they remarkably have a good deal going on right now where you can get 3 chicken tenders, 2 regular sized sides, and a biscuit for only $6, which is ironic because that would be less than how much they would charge for 3 chicken tenders on their own, but they only sell chicken tenders as part of meals. Unlike most fast food chains, you must pay an extra $1 to get a soda or drink with your meal, unless you opt for a boring water bottle. The chicken tenders, I must say, are very big and filling. They have great breading. The fries are very well seasoned, they do not even need sauce for flavor. I love the biscuits here. They are buttery and packed with bready flavor. However, the app not working for me is the reason why they only get 3 stars instead of 5, in addition to the long wait time. 1 last point about the app, it logged me out for no reason and made an issue for me to get back in. The Popeyes app is very slow and glitchy. Also, they got rid of all offers no reason, which is not a good business model. They must have ran out of a drink I wanted to try, strawberry sweet tea. That is disappointing. Improve your app. I like the food, but the app really frustrated me.
If you are doing mobile pick up it will still take a while for you to receive your food. Location is well staffed and runs freat but drive thru is always busy. I think mobile pick up can be faster. Food is as good as the other popeyes but location is pretty clean.
Ordered a 14 boneless piece meal. The chicken was a bit dry and they didn't give me one of my large sides. The biscuits seemed like they were from yesterday. I had gone here 2 days ago and the biscuit was great. Also ordered the chicken sandwich and a 2 piece meal which was good. Someone was off their game today.
I wish there was a different location closer. These workers will always charge you extra for things such as sauce AND NEVER GIVE IT! I believe they’re taking the extra money and keeping inventory. They rush ppl out of the drive thru and take forever to prepare orders!! THIS POPEYES IS HORRIBLE. The workers are always rude! This is truly my sign to completely stop coming to this location.
I am usually satisfied with this location the chicken is thoroughly cooked. However, this now is the 2nd time my order was wrong after them confirming immediately after I ordered and again at the drive thru window. Also I got mashed potatoes that the top looked used it was written on, that was discarded....
My experience at this location was not good for the first time very disappointed in the service and food I received yesterday may 14th 2024 I like my chicken hot and freshly done I purchase two order just to get fresh chicken but manager failed to come through for customer unfortunately I had to leave the second order on the counter so upset and starving another customer right after me had to return her meal as well the afternoon manager need to be softer she is a lady don't make so much chicken at one setting so that it won't sit for a long time its a busy location for this to happen thanks Fulton ave Hempstead
We visited this establishment for a shrimp basket. They did not have any shrimp.
They can never get their to-go deliveries correct. Everytime i doordash my food is never correct or something is always missing. The food is good they just need someone double checking the handoff’s.
My order came missing 2 chicken sandwiches. Called the restaurant multiple times and No One answered the phone. I advise anyone ordering from there to check their orders as soon as they get their meal before leaving or if delivered just as you get it.
I ordered a 3pc.signature combo and it was the worst order I ever received! The 3pieces of chicken were so tiny they looked like nuggets! That's not right,$18.89 for what?? Never again
I really hate going to this location. The guy taking the order at the drive thru is always rushing, saying "I got you", but he never does because the order is usually wrong. Today, the chicken was for kids because it wasn't even the regular size and they knew it because we found extra pieces in the box. They also messed up the order, so I'm glad I caught it before going home. Spicy pieces were mixed with mild...uggh
Made order directly through website for pickup, just to be told my order was picked up mysteriously by someone from DoorDash. Spent 10 mins waiting & then debating to get an order given to someone else. Terrible system!
Rude millennial brats serving chicken... They've never been taught in their entire lives the word please and thank you. They could care less about the customers. I waited online on the drive-through for 25 minutes and when I got to the window they were standing around staring at their phones laughing and giggling and totally ignoring they're work. There were no utensils for my mashed potatoes there was no author of any type of sauce from my chicken nuggets or my chicken tenders. They basically opened the window through the food at me and closed it again. Fire them all and open a self storage place. I wish there was a rating less than one star....
We had to wait unacknowledged before we asked if someone was going to talk our order. When we asked various questions like, do you have sweet tea or what is on the chicken sandwich, it the person taking the order barely answered. The worst service.

Very ghetto.. waited in line for 40 minutes.. Finally got to the order window. They didn’t have any food. No fish sandwich, no macaroni and cheese, no sides. They need to permanently close this franchise. The Baldwin location is actually worse. I’m stuck in the line as I write this because the line isn’t moving and I’m stuck.. never again.. don’t waste your precious time here.
The drive thru is slow and when I went in the store one of the employees had they outside coat around the food. She took her coat off and put it over someone open food. When she picked her coat up she closed the box and handed the box to the girl working the drive thru. She had No gloves or net on. She had her bag on her arm taking chicken and putting it in her bag. I ordered chicken for my kids and told the cashier it was kids and they gave me spicy chicken. I went back to tell them the chicken was to spicy for kids. They told me it was all they had and they couldn't replace my chicken. Please make sure you check your food before you leave. Not a clean or good place to go.
Absolutely trash restaurant - I ordered two chicken sandwhiches by themselves and it took 30 minutes to get my order. And on top of that they forgot my straw. I go to Popeyes for a reason - fast food and fast service. This isn’t the first time. You might as well get rid of this location because you guys can’t even follow simple protocol.
I stopped here to grab a bite before heading home to Rockville Centre. I should have checked my box because the strips were nothing but batter and they completely forgot my side. Very careless. And that box cost almost $20!!! I will not be stopping there again. .
Okay... The boneless chicken wings are delicious-- However, I ordered 6 biscuits and only received 1!!! So what happened to the other 5? Hello I am very disappointed at this Popeyes store. Every time I come here to order my food when I get home there is always something missing. Today I decided to go back to get my missing food and everybody gave me bad attitude like if I was asking for free food. When they made the mistake because I already paid for it. They need to be more careful.
Terrible service whether you use the drive thru, walk in, or use uber eats. The quality is inconsistent. Update to my review. Some of the employees are disrespectful. Frankly, some of them do not address people properly. Management needs a shake up.
The cashier's are rude. Drive-thru is slow on purpose. I watched order after order being made through the window while I waited for 2 pieces of chicken. It is completely obvious they don't care about costumer service.
We went here, waiting on a really long line. There was probably 20 cars on line and they were closing in 5 minutes. Seems they turned off their appliances and stopped cooking things. We get to window and they were out of many menu items. We finally order around 30 dollars of food. Wait another 10 minutes getting to the window. We are about to pay and she informs us that they are out of spicy chicken sandwiches. After waiting almost 20 minutes AND after ringing us up and telling us they were available. Never going to this popeyes again. Thus isn't the first time I've been here and things like this happen.
They have a family deal advertised for $25 and refused to honor it. Saying it was expired. There is no fine print indicating as such. Drive and service are terrible and rude. Trying to notify corporate.
The manager I believe was really rude , I asked for my food to be in on a tray and she bagged it up with no spoons , and they forgot our biscuits. Gladly , we were in the restaurant and not in the drive thru. I witnessed that a customer was really angry and gave her back a piece of chicken she didn't want , the manager grabbed it with her bare hand and put the chicken in the tray to resell . I will not be coming back .
I went to the drive thru at 10:30 at night asked for blacked tenders and the lady said it’ll be extra 4 minutes I said that’s alright not only was it no 4 minute wait maybe 10 they gave me the worst tenders I’ve ever seen in my life🤦♂️chicken was so overcooked it was basically burnt and to make it even worse they’re like the size of a pinkie threw out the whole box paid $20 for the worst meal of my life

Ordered some food from them on DoorDash and they forgot 2 orders of fries, then as I finished my drink i always chew on the ice I noticed something black in my drink. There was a dead fly in my drink the entire time. I’m disgusted, this place should get shut down. Stay away from this place until new management.
if i could give no stars i would the strawberry biscuit had no cream on it i almost choked trying to eating this dry hockey puck of a biscuit… just look at this monstrosity. the glaze looks like it’s just been sitting there for days this place should be shut down or have some type of new management this is a discrimination of southern food you guys should be ashamed of yourselves
I went to the Hempstead location to pick up my mobile order of blackened tenders. I arrive in the restaurant and my order hadn't been prepared yet. There was no one inside and 2 cars in the drive thru. I had to wait for them to cook the tenders. When I reached home this is what a 6 piece blackened tenders looked like...
Had to repeat my order 4 separate times, Waited over 30min for my food, then was handed 2 completely wrong orders.
I went here tonight it was a complete disaster. The guy with who took my order was extremely rude! When I collected my order I realized it was wrong. After driving a few blocks away I turned back. Went back explained that my order was wrong and the guy who apparently did the order started to insist and argue with me that it was correct what I ordered. He got mad and was visibly upset that he had to change the order so he threw the box on the counter with chicken and he did the new order and very rudely threw down the box on the counter to me without saying anything but walking off looking all pissed. This was so darn disgusting and disrespectful for people to be spending their money and getting this awful kind of service. I need a manager to look into this incident. Do not go to this place with horrible customer service!

I placed an order to the West Hempstead branch for 2 orders of mixed wings and 2 orders of french fries. I received 2 orders of wings that were NOT mixed. Both were the same chicken. Also, I did NOT receive the 2 orders of french fries that I ordered but was charged for. I tried calling the store but no one picked up!!! Will NEVER order from them again!
They never acknowledge people at counter. You can be the only one there and they work only on Uber and pick up window. It's rude and like we are invisible. Unless there is a pretty girl at counter then they woo each other and still pay no attention to customer. Ok update. Here we go again. Ordered 5 piece meal dark meat. Got home with breast leg and Three wings. Supposed to be dinner for two. Gen z strikes again. Going to Westbury store from now on period. Bad news for Uniondale franchise owner!!!

I wasn’t able to even try the food at this location because of the service at the drive through window. First the line is long and it takes a while to even get to the ordering speaker then the employee they have is a English non speaker who doesn’t understand my order and I don’t understand his accent. I go to the window to then get lectured in Spanish on who needs to order all with an attitude. Rude and incompetent will not go back.
Not only the drive through takes forever even though it’s not busy BUT they forgot my wings. I got home and had to come back. I understand people make mistakes but this is the third time it happens to me at this location. Completely unacceptable. Management needs to start getting involved and have a talk with their employees.
During the day you will get fresh food. The night crew does whatever they feel like doing multiple times they'll get your order wrong and it's like management doesn't exist the worker's always have attudes when you say something to them about it. Something needs to be done about the way that things are going at this location it makes people feel like they're never going back too this location not just this location baldwin is equally as bad. It's a shame that if I want popeyes I have to go all the way by Roosevelt field mall and I live nowhere near there
For a while I had the taste for Popeye chicken.. I'm very adamant about how I like my food cooked on order. Something's should be very much left alone ! Everyone CAN'T COOK authentic food from the south. I was angry at the poor service of people who CHOOSE NOT to speak English in a restaurant or serving the public. The food just didn't have that same great taste the coleslaw was way to thick the red beans with rice was watery an tasteless the biscuits very thick on the side of extra dry and to pay a high price for food that wasn't of it's notable taste an history this group of "people" really are took it an trying to make it there own traditional food. Popeye's Chicken on Hempstead turnpike will never get my money or my wasted time. Not from this branch of very unprofessional ill mannered "people"
There is zero coordination at this establishment. My orders get messed up every single time, and the workers don't even like to help. They are rude and incompetent and getting your food takes 10 times as long as it should

Extremely slow service and lack of attention. They are so under staff that there is only one person there taking orders while preparing the meal. This is a horrible establishment and they need to do better. Be prepared to wait in line for an extended amount of time even if your order is ready.
This location has to be the worst in service I have ever seen! Everyone there is incompetent and barely speaks English. They don't care about helping the customers. They are very slow and have the worst attitudes, especially given that they constantly mess up your order. Save yourself time and a headache and avoid this place.
9:30 PM Saturday night. There’s a lady at the drive-through window who seems to hate her job. She had such a bad attitude. I said please and thank you. I got nothing in return. Just a whole lot of attitude and it seemed like everything was out of stock when I went which was hard to believe since she had an attitude saying it
They are horrible and very racist. The person at the drive thru drop my sauce i ask for on the ground purposely missing my hand then refuse to give me another sauce and told me I had to pay 1.25 for another one which I refused. She then refused to serve me or get the manager and when he finally came she lied and told him I threw the sauce at her, when I said she's lying if i threw the sauce at her it would be inside the building and not on the ground and to check the cameras he then ignored me and tried to hurry me away
I shouldn't give this Popeyes any star, I bought 8 piece chicken combo there and the taste of the chicken feels like the oil has been over used. I couldn't eat it. What a shame. Wasted my money
This Popeyes location serves some of the freshest chicken I’ve ever had at a Popeyes. However, the sides can sometimes be less fresh, likely because they’re left out for too long. The cashiers are generally friendly and provide good service, but issues arise when managers are involved. The managers often mishear or mishandle orders, seeming to struggle with listening to customer requests. For example, when I ask for specific pieces of chicken or condiments like ketchup or hot sauce, they make it unnecessarily difficult, acting as if I’m not a paying customer. They’re also very stingy with condiments, providing only one or two packets at a time, even when I request more. This frustrating back-and-forth feels like an unnecessary game with customers.
The owner does not care about you or your food. I spent $15 on an online order, but they closed early so I never got my order. When I checked in after it opened, a lady (either manager or owner) said they’d have to wait for the night manager for some reason. It took hours of complaints and my mom going over there to talk to her (after she hung up twice) to actually get my order. This place also consistently forgets parts of your order or mixes up your order with another, and will never apologize or respond politely. Even if it’s a bit farther, I genuinely recommend going somewhere else. I’ve ordered here for months, tolerating this, until the recent incident with the $15. Some fried chicken is not worth this headache, not to mention the amount of money I’ve lost with parts of my order going missing. I’d report the entire place if I could.
The experience here tonight was terrible. It surely set an example of how this location is ran. Reading a few of the reviews I can see how unfortunate some people experienced the poor service. Specifically the manager for the night shift (a woman) on August 26.. showed her terrible behavior. First off you have 1 friend in the store —ok but now you are allowing this man to open the employee kitchen door peeling his head in. Then the manager comes out w food — ok maybe it’s your break but no another man comes in and you all sit down chatting while there are multiple waiting on food— on uber/doordash orders. Why aren’t you managing the store? Oh it’s because you (the night manager) decides to order 5 chicken sandwiches for herself .. to take back to her friends. You are choosing to chill around, take food and be lazy not helping your employees. You had me waiting 20 min on food that was pre order.. I won’t be coming back to this establishment. Thank you. The food is only good because you have a few select of people who are working and care about their work. The owner of the location should look into their night shift crew ..things are too slow.
First off I ordered my order on line when I got there the doors was locked it says the dining room closes at 12am I arrived at 11pm. Locking the doors on a Friday night at 11pm doesn't make since. But anyways I was told I have to go to the drive through window to pick up my food along side the drive through traffic that is very unsafe. I had to squeeze in-between card at the drive through with a line building up behind. They should've at least had another side window for pickup Sat separate from drive through traffic where we can stand safely to get our food. At least some kind of protective railing so traffic doesn't hit people and on top of it my fries weren't in my bag with my order. I won't come here to this location anymore it's not safe at night. I will drive further away to the next location at least they honor the sign on the door with time of operation.
my daughter placed a order of 3 piece chicken tenders and received a leg, wing and a thigh. Side of mac cheese that was burned at the at the side and bottom. no biscuit no sauce, no spoon to eat any of the sides ordered. mashed potatoes and beans and rice sides were half full and the cost was $41.00. not to mention the soda was open and the lid not completely closed. i definitely would never order anything from them we ordered apple pie 2 did not get either one of them.
