Place is always clean when I've visited. Employees greet me when I've entered and make eye contact when taking my order. Food is hot enough to enjoy eating.

We enjoyed a good lunch, and I am gluten-free, so they were kind enough to leave the bun off my food.

This McDonald’s is hands down the best one I’ve ever eaten from. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I live in San Antonio and stopped there 2 different nights around 10:30pm on my way home from Leakey and both times the food was the best I ever had from any McDonald’s. I would drive all the way to Hondo just to get food from this location. If that wasn’t enough, the workers were so sweet and happy. Whatever y’all are doing there, keep doing it.

My son chooses a 4 piece Kids meal, when we go eat at this McDonald's. The staff is friendly, fast, and we have never had an issue. I do recommend they clean the playroom it is a bit dingy, but overall safe. I can't say we have ever had a wait longer than 3 minutes, except when they had two bus loads of kids from a baseball game, but even then they were fast and even have us complementary cookies to make up for the wait. I would list names but they are all outstanding!

I love the Mocha Frappe... my niece's first time with a frappe. Whe was a die hard Starbucks. She said these actually taste better because the Frappuccino is too sweet. Frappes are also cheaper

They're pretty good in the mornings. The line is always moving and they hardly ever get my order wrong.

McDonald's will always be McDonald's, food is always the same, you have your days when you get good customer service and days you don't, it's 50-50, but food was good.

It was a curbside order, and even though the drive thru was busy, we received the order quickly and fresh. But this is the 1st time the 🍔 was wrong 😞🤔

The customer service here is the best. We drive to Sabinal often to visit family from San Antonio and every time the individuals doing the drive through have been very respectful and kind. Sidel helped us this last time and he provided us great customer service!

I was visiting some relatives they wanted pizza and I went to Pizza Hut it was the old style Hut they gave me a supreme deep dish and a pepperoni lovers deep dish that was 1990 all over again high quality excellent pizza just like you seen on the commercials it was wonderful they didn't skip on the ingredients the crust had an absolutely wonderful flavor I recommend this Pizza Hut above all the other ones I haven't had one like this in a long time a man named Jimmy served us I would pay $30 for a quality Pizza that Pizza Hut used to make this place still makes Pizza like the old Pizza Huts. ENJOY

If it were not for a breakfast emergency, I'd have never stopped anyway. The restaurant was total chaos. I arrived at 10:04am. I was served and leaving with bag in hand at 10:31am. The drive-thru receives priority. As a walk in the wait was absurd. In fact, the employee who took my order actually asked me what I was waiting for. I responded, "The food that I paid for." The person that I imagine is the manager, was verbally abusing employees, while ahe herself had a ponytail that was not in a hairnet. This is hardly sanitary. Anyway, I don't care, and I will NOT be back.

I enjoy stopping at this McDonald's because of the staff! The food is good also but the staff makes it so much better. If you stop in and find Andrew on the register in the morning, then you be greeted with a smile and a very helpful personality! If you are going to grab yourself a drink, you may have a good laugh with Mr. Phillip M he always seems eager to help. Maybe my next time stopping by, I'll meet another great employee! The McDonald's on Del Rio blvd has fast service and good customer service. The McDonald's on Main has fast service also as well as good customer service. That digital or virtual order system within the store is not in these restaurants which is good because you lose the great customer service you receive from a person.

Okay people McDonald's an American icon we all know McDonald's if you've been to one you pretty much been to all and your kids going to love it they always do that is the catch I gave them four stars on the fact that they are an American Legend and the food's good I'm partial to the chicken nugget to myself so I don't have to tell you to go in and check them out you probably been there numerous times so have I and that's all I got on that note have a great day the McDonald's way

Very polite staff. Always love the small town restaurants. They know how to make a guest feel right at home. Order was accurate and food was hot. Except for the fries. No McDonalds can seem to serve them hot. Even when you order in. I don't understand that concept.

I occasional bring the kids for a treat and an ac playground. They've gotten rid of anything remotely healthy. So I might get them just an icecream or a chicken nugget happy meal. Nothing here for me but unsweetened tea be nice if had a salad or just something healthy to munch on. But its an occasional fun treat for the kids.

My only issue with the Hwy 90 Castroville store is, I've had to call and complain several times about items I ordered that were not put in my to go bag. Yes they are always apologetic and offer to replace the items but I live several miles way and it's not always possible for me to run bk to McDonald's to get items I bought and paid for because they didn't add them to my bag. Also you can't get ice cream hardly ever at this location in the evening time. I'm not sure why that is. My only advice is double check your order before you leave the drive through.

Just brought home my take out. Ordered the double big Mac meal, got the regular. They also left out my Buffalo sauce that I paid for.

Since they close the lobby at 4pm, drive through lines were ridiculously long as was the wait. By the time we got our food, it was cold, and our order was not correct.

Place decoration is cool, but chicken nuggets are bad

I ordered a late for the first and last time. Definitely not a fan of their late, but not too surprised or disappointed. Mcdonald's isn't a coffee shop, they are a burger joint. Had a coffee shop been open at that time I would have stopped there, but since they were not I tried their coffee.

Depends on the day... when you're in a hurry, they are super slow, when you have all the time in the world, they are just regular slow... get my small orders correct about 85% of the time, large orders there's almost always something missing or wrong. Staff is usually pretty friendly, managers are good about making things right with mistakes when it's bad enough to drive all the way back.

Love there fries!! Why do they always hold there meetings in the place though. I'm there to eat not hear how bad they think there employees are. Thanks k God for separate area for kids cause I usually like the atmosphere in the eating area. Bathrooms clean and the employees r usually friendly

Waited 10mins curbside for an order. Happy meal, tea, and an iced coffee. Walked in to get my order and waited another 10ish minutes for my order. There were a total of 5 people eating in mcds. 2 of which were employees. Food was hot and fresh but with no line at drive through and no other cars in curbside....I dont believe it should've taken so long.

Ordered one of their "signature burgers" with pico de gallo and avocado. It was bland and you couldn't even taste the avocado because of all the mayo. They fries were not hot and had little taste. Service was pretty fast considering we were with a busload of campers.

We went here for dinner and needed to use the restroom. The lobby the restroom was located in was closed, so I was told I had to use the one in the play area that was disgusting, didn't look like it had been tended to all day.

Slow service... Forgot to make my dine in order. Everyone in my party was done before I got food. I gave two stars instead of one because the manager tried to be nice and threw in a free cherry pie.

Macdonald's is fun for a kid its fun for memorys to look back at but the food, is flat-out suspicious. The l lettuce they put on Burgers is practically minced they don't need to do that And there's more bread than meat. Most confusingly there food is over done on calories and it cant even spoil so that thing has more preservatives in meet at this point and I personally find that disgusting. this is my opinion I'm not telling you guys what to eat. if this food makes you happy go right ahead because as long as you're happy then your doing good to yourself and thats always a big win.

I got a meal for the first time in over a month from here, Big Mac sandwich, and both the middle Bun and bottom Bun were soaked. Almost like they had been sitting in water for a couple minutes. Those layers were also cold, so it's not like it was jucies from the meat patties. It was inedible. I'll stick to chicken nuggets from now on.

There only good 1 out of 10 times i come, they always mess up my order, im a nice guy. I ordered 20 nuggets to find out they were burnt and lost all taste. She told me sorry we'll get it right next time. But what about now? Guess my sorry ass is gonna have to just hope its good next time.

Already a man was waiting with his receipt bc he was missing part of his order, and the worker was very rude to him. I love that this McDonald's has a play place but it's takes forever to place an order inside as they are more occupied by the drive thru. I made an order online and paid before we had gotten inside and still our food took 30 minutes to come out after placing the order 10 minutes before we had even gotten there

The food was fresh that's the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. Other than that, they seemed to messed up my order 3 times while in the drive thru. Had to fix it while ordering, when paying, and finally when I received my food. It was stressful becuase I was traveling but none the less food fresh and associates were polite.

The food is decent and the employees are always friendly but they close whenever they feel like it. They don't abide by their posted hours of operation. The waiting line is always horrendously long and if you try to use the app to order ahead of time it still makes you sit and wait in the parking lot so you can never just get your food and go. They charge me a different price every time I go there even when I order the exact same thing each time. Very disappointing

We Stopped in to order and let the kids play in the play ground. And no one will respond or ask if you need help. Whenever I asked for help, I was ignored. We ordered with the kiosk and sat down. They had a screen before we ordered saying it was open for to go orders only. Mind you it is 6:00 pm. And we still have not spoken to anyone. Sad part is, we drove for 40 miles to this MCD, because the one in Uvalde is awful! Can't win...

They don't even deserve 1 star. First it was filthy. Flies everywhere. Then it took them 30 minutes to give us our food. Asked the manager why it was taking so long and she just blamed it on the girl at the front. Don't go here if you need"fast food".

Every time we come to this location our orders are always wrong. It takes forever to get our order we end up having to wait for 45 mins that's dine in and drive thru. Then to hear the cooks complaining about our order just shut the hell up and make our order! If I could put 0 stars I would.

Nothing worse then repeating my order multiple times to get all the way home and it be wrong. Ordered multiple items which were correct but ordered a double cheeseburger plain with cheese only. Got home only to sit down to eat and it was not plain with cheese only. Had all the toppings it normally comes with as well was a mess. The burger got thrown in the trash. This mcdonalds is known for getting orders wrong.

Will never stop there again. Didn't want to sell me a refill like in San antonio but then again san antonio have the best customer service. Also on my child's chicken tenders meal they didn't put all the 10 tenders. Ugly service

Literally had to repeat my order 5 times. They told me to pull up and they would have my order right out. 20 minutes went by, so I went in there and they were making everybody's order, but ours. All we didn't get was an egg mcmuffin. They were horribly rude. (definitely not recommended)

Every time we come through the drive thru you always have people who give attitude and act like they don’t want to be there. They should not be in the drive thru if they’re gonna be rude to customers. Nobody is making them work that job, that is their choice. They obviously need to learn the definition of customer service.

Long wait,plus it looks like they hust threw evrething at last minute,patty hanging out,fries soggy plus change the oil it's brown. And used gloves I found hair and the order is never right, if the tea was not good I would not stop there ever.

My husband and I waited over 20 minutes for a simple breakfast order while the staff gave preference to the people in the drive-through. I saw cars drive in and drive out while we waited. When I complained, a worker admitted that they serve the drive-through first. Apparently, there's a system for monitoring the efficiency of the drive-through operation, and no similar system for the counter, hence the priority given some customers over others. After another complaint, a worker asked if I wanted our order "to go" ... NO ... we came inside to sit at a table to eat. My advice is, if you want to eat inside at this McDonald's, order at the drive-through so you can 'cut in line' on the people at the counter, then take your order inside to eat at a table. I've heard the Dairy Queen serves a nice breakfast.

Awful service! Orders are incorrect or it gets lost and your left waiting like an asshat. I walk with the assistance of a cane so to keep having to get up or stand and wait by the register to make sure you get your order is ridiculous and an inconvenience. Then to hear the employees complaining about the order. These youngsters want that paycheck but don't want to work for it.

If u see my reviews i try n give out gd reviews but tonight isnt one of those times. Me and my son go grab some food for family ordered what we needed and wanted. They gave me a price in drive through when i get to window price is changed asked about it and blew it off. Didnt make big deal even after i was pulled forward and waited thinking order would be correct. I get home and the extra spicy mustard i ordered was busted all over the burgers that was asked to have no mustard plus it was an extra charge. No condiments even after i asked for it and order was missing combo fries. Its not just this night but other nights too this was a 35 dollar meal that wasnt correct which was 10 dollars to much cause they still had the 2 for 5 posted by drive thru. McDonalds in Hondo needs to check their staff on all shifts.

This location has recently been remodeled. However, this location needs to STILL work on their customer service skills and cleanliness! We had a question and waited by the front cashier station and staff walked by without even acknowledging us until finally a manager walked by and helped us. Then after placing our order we proceeded to the drink station and play area. Drink station need a good wiping down, throw away all the junked lids left behind, and ice in one of the machines. The play area was even worse. Only one other family was in there, yet ALL the tables were dirty. No one buses tables back there anymore??! We had to ask a cashier if she'd come clean at least one of the tables for us! Inside the playground we found old food, a used bandaid, and a sock. This placed was nearly remodeled yet it seems like this place hadn't been cleaned since it reopened. Sad sad sad.

i ordered two hot & spicys and ended up with two cheeseburgers. The lady at the window was having a whole conversation with her coworker and didn’t even acknowledge me when giving me my order. i called to let them know and they didn’t seem to care. poor customer service.

I stood at the register for 10 minutes before anyone took my order. Several workers looked my way, but never acknowledged me. When someone finally got to the register, she didn't say a word...just looked at me...no smile...no good morning. So I proceeded to give her my order. Then, I received an incomplete meal and when I inquired about it, I was asked to show my receipt! This was the worst customer service I've had at McDonald's.

Coffee was horrible, I couldn't even drink it. Sausage biscuit was hot but hard. We come here about every 3 to 4 months to see if they change, they haven't. Food still sucks. I give it one star for the employees being nice.

As a customer on a regular basis I now have knowledge of being able to tell if my food is fresh especially the cookies. And when I called them out on my fresh cookies they microwaved them and word of advice they taste burnt when you warm them up disappointed I have noticed that Houston locations don't have friendly employees and this is one

This particular location prioritizes the drive thru. They are slow to serve in-dining, no one is ever at the front register. Curbside via the app is ridiculous. You have to go inside, wait to find someone, then wait some more. It’s the slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to and the drive-thru is the secret. Twenty Cars have come and gone as we continue to wait 20+ minutes for what should have been a 5 minute wait.

After ordering at drive thru, Waited 17 minutes in #2 drive thru reserved pick up location. Went inside to get order, no one was concerned we had waited that long for our order of 2 meals. We realized order was incorrect in our vehicle, luckily we did not drive away. Went back inside to correct order. Staff member was getting order corrected. Manager asked if I'd been helped and told her we have been waiting a long time in parking lot for our order and order was incorrect. She turned and walked away, no concern at all. I let staff, who was getting order corrected, know we had been waiting 17 minutes and had to come inside to get our order and came back inside to get order corrected, NO CONCERN!!! Not going back to that location.

People who work thete are rude. They sendme to the front of the line waited for the food for 15 min then this lady come out i ask her a question she scream at me. Then i got to my place the burgers was missing condiments and on order fries was 1/2 way full. I an not a person who complaint but when they treat you as dirt can let it be.

They had about..... 8 employees walking through people not caring that their was a line. Not the best service. It felt more like I was at a high school cafeteria.

Always forget something and I never add a review but now I’m tired of this I live 15 minutes away and today they forgot to add sausage and butter to my big breakfast meal which is the main part of the order and was told to come back to pick up the sausage not driving 15 minutes back the rest of my food would be pointless and cold and they would do anything to resolve the issue

Long wait at drive through line so I went inside only to hear some young female employee chew out some other young guy saying," you need to do your own stuff. I have my own stuff to do " everyone in the restaurant could hear. Then finally an employee asked if I've been helped. I asked him how long was the wait and he couldn't say.. so we left. Ugh.

We went to McDonald's a few days ago ordered the Mac Combo Meal the burgers barely had any Mac sauce. Today ordered 2 of the Mac Combo asked if I could have extra Mac sauce the order taker was already rude & made sure to tell me I will have to charge you then ignored me. I advised if the burgers don't have sauce I will speak to a mngr. Sure enough barely any sauce & tge other had one squirt the size of a penny! I went to talk Mgr now she was nice but then I had to go back to ask knife & fork the same rude employee was hateful! I guess because he didn't get to charge me for the Mac sauce . It's sad we had to even ask & McDonalds make alot of money Mac sauce should not charge customers for a little extra sauce !!! We can already tell the buns are smaller than l2 years ago but now to be cheap Mac sauce is wrong. Then they force you to order Kiosk dirty machines & they will stare at you never bother taking your order thats not right! We shouldn't be forced to order via a Kiosk they had at least 10 employees sad the way they lack CONCIERGE SERVICE!

We attempted to take our granddaughter for breakfast this morning and stood in the front fir about 10 minutes. No one came up to wait on us so I asked the lady that was working drive through if anyone was working the counter and she Saud she was working drive and counter but we coukd use the machine to order ourselves. Wow we were caught off guard by that so we decided we just didn't need to spend our money there. The manager was there and looked at us but then proceeded to throw fries in the grease, never acknowledged us. We went to Whataburger where we could get service. Very disappointed in Hondo Mc Donald's.

Went through drive through. Paid and got to second window. Not one person was in view. I sat there for a few min. And still nothing. I parked, went inside. I was treated by an older gentleman. He assured me everything was OK. And yet it literally looked like the winow people was hiding in the corner. I wasn't even upset. Just confused why these gentleman was acting this way but they had a complete crew working. They then brought my food with attitude to me. And then was like. It takes time when we are busy. It was only me and another person behind me! Nobody else. Inside was pretty empty as well. I'm pretty sure they put a ton of salt on my fries and no receipt on purpose. But that's okay, I guess they had a bad day. Poor little guys.

Bought the new strawberry shortcake mc flurry and I was very disappointed. Talk about false advertising. The cup was HALF full and was ridiculous. When my son took it back to the counter he was told that they do not fill it any more than that. If I'm going to pay $5 it would be nice if the cup was full and whatever topping is in there that is ordered. The 3 burgers that I ordered were wrong also.
