Small cafe with a great atmosphere, a wide selection of coffee/teas, and delicious food. I recommend the chai latte or the iced vanilla latte. The carrot cake is also fantastic.
Good coffee, nice staff, clean and well maintained. Food is delicious with off menu specials regularly. This is my go-to coffee shop.
Definitely a great place to study. Music isn't loud (at least not in the morning). Nice, comfy couches for sitting or you can sit on the chairs. Ordered the Jasmine Green tea - pretty good. I'd say the tapoica pearls are a little too mushy for me, but I'm really particular about my tapoica. Can't wait to try the coffee one day! It looked really yummy.
Love the place, the have a lot of board games stacked on the book shelf. Excellent coffee, and a lovely staff. Great atmosphere for studying. They also hang art on the walls and some of it is for sale.
Love this place!! Excellent Lattes and Iced Coffees. Their Dahl soup is so great, I usually order extra to bring home. , Paninis are also good. I come here and play Trivial Pursuit with my kids, or hang out with friends after exercising.
As a coffee geek I can say this guys knows how to make a nice cortado and a cappuccino, very nice staff and atmosphere. As a European I am not used to the size US use for their drinks. but welll if the coffee is nice I don't mind shove 15oz of coffee when I am used to 8oz... Nevertheless their roasting is well done and the coffee is fresh.. Well done lads
That drip coffee is amazing and the food was sooo good. Would definitely come back if in the area.
Awsome service excellent staff they should all get a pay raise, took my aunt there. We both loved it the smoothie didn't task like half water downed fruit crap like most places it was sweet the thing that I look for in a smoothie. The guys wearing a regular show t shirt really brightened my day. Would recommend to any one aND please tip at places like that most are college kids trying to fund there future.
I've been coming to Fioza since college. It was my main study spot during graduate school, and I still like to come here on days when I'm working remotely. I like the laid back atmosphere - it's almost always busy, but it never feels like you're in a crush. Typical customers during the day are college students, people working remotely (like me), or ladies from the neighborhood meeting for a little coffee talk. The baristas are nice, and most then have been here several years. The music they play is a good mix of old and new - you could hear Fleetwood Mac one day and Future Islands the next. The coffee is pretty good, they have a fun array of specialty drinks, and the paninis, soups, and cakes they offer are always delicious. Bonus: tapioca teas! WiFi is free, outlets and parking are plentiful, and the bathrooms are kept nice and clean.
The caramel late super Exceeded my expectations, this place is warm and cozy and again the coffee is absolutely delicious I could easily say that better than the big brand coffe shops, fantastic for meetings! Looking forward to coming back.
These guys & gals are very cool! Food is very good and fresh! Coffee drinks are just to my liking! Its quaint & always has a good vibe!
Love Fioza the people are great. Cute cozy place to come study. Should not come in big groups. Perfect for reading orb working on laptops. Is popular so sometimes it gets full. I love the sanwiches and salads very tasty ☺ the coffee is okay. And they have free cups to drink water. The only thing is that you have to ask for the wifi password.
Great place, lots of good food (I've never picked a favorite menu item, anything on there is good), and quite alot of board/party games to play or comic books to read. I don't enjoy coffe that much, but they have plenty of other drinks. Milk tea with tapioca perals is my personal favorite.
Great coffee and food at a local cafe near homes and businesses, with good prices. They have been around for over 12 years and get better and better. Thank you for providing a great brunch cafe in our neighborhood.
I've been coming here for years, and their coffee never disappoints! Everyone is always kind and friendly, and I love their unique latte options!
Good coffee is rare in the US, everyone drinks either instant or filter. Fioza was (is!) our last hope in Meyerland district. They're good! Update: And they have a good playlist! Respect! :-)
Quiet little place, nice food/drink options. Tho no gluten-free options per se, they made me a custom item. They have fancy ice pops, community posting board, and chill music.
Fantastic coffee, food and atmosphere. Will be coming back every chance I get!
I've been visiting Fioza for years. It's always the same, which is great. They make the best iced chai, and it's consistently excellent. The atmosphere is chill. Always a great place for a drink and or a snack.
A great discovering! A small Caffè in Meyerland. Tasty coffe, great pastry and in a wonderful environment
Always have a great time coming here. Staff are awesome, paninis are great, and coffee is tasty. Quiet environment conducive to studying.
Great selection of breakfast items (both sandwhiches and pastries). Coffee is good and service is fast, even when making breakfast paninis from scratch. Fioza is a good addition to the neghborhood.
As a fairly knowledgeable coffee drinker/roaster/barista, I can only say I wish all espresso houses were as consistent and customer-friendly as Fioza. Price alone is a poor criterion for quality; I cannot drink Charbucks coffee at any price, and do go out of my way to visit Fioza. It's the best this side of Seattle.
I was in Houston and looking for a good coffee before hitting the road. This place popped up as close with good ratings. I agree! Great Latte!
such an amazing place for coffee and food with big portions for both! truly an amazing bang for your buck and the atmosphere is great. its a very great place to get work done and lounge. lovely customer service
A nice quiet neighborhood cafe that closes early at 3pm. This place has a relaxed environment with board games and books in case you need something to do. The bathroom is also nice which is always a plus for me.
I absolutely love this coffee shop! I started coming here years ago when I was in walking distance to study. I didn’t really care for their tapioca drinks then but the service and vibe was great! I stopped going for years because I moved away from the area. Now my son goes to school up the street and I stop in for a Dirty Chai on my days to drop him off. The staff is so nice and helpful when I want to try something new.
Been going there since it opened, I don't care about local art, or any of the little creations you can do with foam, or the whole cafe posing thing usually associated with little cafes, i just want a good cup of coffee. This they deliver consistently and with a great variety. If the coffee of the day tastes like something you don't want to drink (not all coffee tastes the same I found out) , they will gladly change it for something more to your palate and liking. The service is consistently good, and I have never had a bad experience here. The Owner and manager are extremely focused and involved on customer satisfaction, and creating a relaxing place to drink a cup and read the news or socialize. I often see people having business meetings, moms just just relaxing after dropping the kids off, and general student fare in the normal day and a general mix people people and schedules. The food varies constantly in menu, but is always excellent, and they are quite particular in the quality of food they deliver. If I was to rate them on a scale of 10, they get a 10/10. Keep up the good work!
UPDATE 12/8/23 - my favorite meal is the #2 breakfast panini. Deconstructed. Mike, the owner, and staff know how to make great tasting food. Sadly I didn’t take a picture. It’s so good. My son turned us on to this great little gem tucked away near North Braeswood and Chimney Rock. We stopped in one day for lunch and the Panini's were great. Now it is a favorite weekly stop. And the coffee... I have tried several now, though my favorite is the mocha - but that has always been the case. Service is always friendly and the place is always spotless. WiFi and the ability to do a little work when needed is a great plus. Some outdoor seating on a pretty morning or evening and good conversation. Not the busy, "buy everything" feel of a Starbucks or brand store. More the comfortable atmosphere of an old school coffee house where you see and make friends. Oh, there is original artwork by local artists. Photos and paintings. We bought a landscape. Thanks, guys.
Such a cute neighborhood spot. I loved the dirty chai and my breakfast panini.
Across the street from my home.... Their smoothies and lattes are bomb good... Had to re-up on my post from 3 years ago. This place is still legit. Never bad service, cool mellow atmosphere, and the staff are awesome. Definitely recommend as a cool out spot, study, or a date.
Great coffee concoctions, they use amazing beans that are freshly roasted and also for sale. A great atmosphere with very knowledgeable baristas these people do coffee right! I just hope they use filtered water! ☺️☺️☺️
The staff are really nice and take time to help you. They play fun music and there are plenty of tables and outlets to work. They have lots of coffee, smoothie, and snack options. They have games and books available and short tables, high-tops and patio seating. They have nice restrooms. It's a good spot to work or hang out!
Gabriel Binns is the best employee of the month, best employee of the year, and best employee ever. This coffee shop is amazing the coffee is amazing and the food is great. I would definitley recomend this place to newcomers!!
My favorite coffee shop, hands down. Great coffee, super kind staff, and excellent paninis. Very chill atmosphere — great place to sit and work or meet with friends.
Fioza is the best neighborhood coffee shop in the world! The quality and freshness of the coffee and food (especially the greens and fruit) is the most consistent of any eatery we frequent, and trust me, we frequent several, but Fioza is our go to - at least twice a week for lunch!
During a visit to Houston, my son and I were waking up extremely early. I am so grateful to have found this place. The coffee is excellent and they have many options for non coffee drinkers. The really cool thing is the ambiance. They have a stack of games to play and my son and I got to enjoy our time together playing cards.
So I purchased the Cafe Nutella. Brilliantly made and tastes of the same caliber. Nothing added by myself is key to taste for me. Excellent taste and 16oz is standard versus 12oz in many other locations. You'll want to leave a tip and it's proper!
Best coffee in town hands down. I've tried them all black hole, Catalina, inversion, you name it I've tried it and Fioza is the best. Update** I moved to north Houston but still make the nearly hour drive on occasion when I want this coffee place.
Excellent coffee shop with great panini! Enjoyed their Almond Joy coffee. The service was first class.
Love this place! I come here a lot to study and the atmosphere is great, coffee is delicious, and friendly staff.
By going here not only will you have the moral satisfaction of supporting a local business, but you'll also have the gustatory pleasure of an excellent cup of coffee.
When I'm in the area, I'll stop by for their Corn beef sandwich. Lord it is good! It's a small kitchen, a lot of items are made in-house, and things can run out, no worries, the other sandwiches are also amazing. The shop's drinks are in a happy medium; not a full blown 3rd wave coffee shop or a Asian tapioca shop. They use local roasted beans, ranging from light to dark daily; they have a bit of both for everyone. Shots are pulled well, nice list of delicious flavor combinations (El delicioso nomnom), they have tapioca balls (and some jelly) and a wide arrange of smoothie/tea flavors. I see a lot of people here studying or working (must be the complimentary wifi)
I roast my own beans fairly crazy when it comes to coffee. Usually don't buy the flavored drinks but did here. Got the El Delisioso. The baristas also asked about sweetness level which I said I don't like too sweet. They nailed it. Not too sweet...perfect flavor! Will come back if I have a chance!
I'm sure it's still the same great quality. I wish they would open at least until 5 or 6pm tho so I could work from there like I used to... now I can't really find time to stop by... sigh.
Excellent coffee, and the paninis are fantastic! Unfortunately, I always forget to snap a pic before eating my panini and drinking my coffee. I only give 4 stars for the atmosphere because it's a little too niche coffee shop cliché for 5 stars but it's still warm enough to elicit 4 out of 5 stars.
Great independent neighborhood coffee spot. Great baristas. Warm friendly service. Wish there were more spots like this rather than the cookie cutter chain coffee shop.
This spot is one of my favorites! The coffee is great and it's a good price for the amount you get. Some tables/chairs/outlets could use an upgrade or fixing but they did recently change their lower chairs. They do have Internet and outlets which is nice. It's a cozy atmosphere and never super loud if you need to study or get work done. Workers are friendly!
Fiona was a very nice surprise… our first time and won’t be the last!… coffee and paninis were just about perfect… very fresh and tasty! I definitely recommend the place!
I came looking for a tasty panini and found one! Cappuccino was lovely. Friendly stuff. I've tried that bran muffin in the past and it was delicious. I'll certainly be back.
Great little coffee shop just off of Chimney Rock! Ordered an iced milk tea and croissant and both were great. The staff was friendly, service was quick. Ample seating inside and good parking lot with several spots. Nice relaxed atmosphere, great for studying and working. They also had art for sale on the walls inside created by local artists. Would definitely visit again!
This place was great. Guy behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. Pastries were sooo good. Not overly sweet. Great with coffee! Will definitely come to again.
We picked up a couple coffee drinks and a snack for the ride home at Fioza. My wife got frozen coconut mocha blended frozen thingy, tasted really good. I loved a hot cappucino and a piece of zucchini bread. It's nice to find this amazing caffeinated oasis in our neighborhood. We will be back for more. This is our go to spot for well made coffee drinks and gedunk (snacks). I almost always get a hot cappuccino wit' 2 splendas, wifey gets a frozen blended concoction. They always have tasty desserts and cookies. Check out the cool artwork that's for sale on their walls.
Loved this spot with terrific paninis and great coffee. There are a few outdoor tables, but inside had nice seating options.
OMG obsessed 😭 I asked about their chai and let me say — it did not disappoint!!! So good and naturally sweet and yes. Just yes. Loved the workers. So kind. Atmosphere was great. Will be back next time I’m in Houston!
Cubano and pumpkin brownie were delicious! Friendly staff, free wifi, steady flow of customers but not crowded, and clean environment. The perfect spot to work for a bit or meet up with a friend. Quintessential cafe
I always enjoy coming here. Good coffee and relaxed atmosphere. Food, sweet treats, games, and books also available.
I love going to Fioza! It’s quiet and the staff are all lovely. Delicious paninis and don’t forget the try the espresso on ice cream in a hot sunny day.

This is Cafe that's been around since 2007 & it's no wonder it's been around for 2 decades. This place has great food, aesthetics, nice local art on the walls & especially great coffee. They also have a small shelf in the back full of books & board games. If you have some time off or work remotely, this is a great place to check out. I highly recommend it!
May I have another panini, please?!? Lol. Can't forget try a different drink as well. As everything has been good thus far. Built my own breakfast panini which I've never had before (eggs, spinach, basil, and Swiss cheese) delicious 😋. Kept thinking about it for my lunch break and ready for another! Lol I've only been twice and the drinks (chai tea and s'mores specialty) are well flavored!
I have been going to this coffee shop for probably 20 years now - and they still serve excellent coffee and tasty pastries. Particularly their scones which they make in-house and are by far the best I’ve ever had. I also love their hazelnut lattes. The people that work there are super friendly, patient, and helpful. It’s also a great place to work!
My wife and I come here all the time and Jack the chef makes incredibly paninis. Coffee is great and friendly staff. Quiet and calm atmosphere. 5/5 across the board.
Genuinely an absolutely incredible place. Awsome awsome staff, food is just ridiculous like it's actully weird how good it is, the chai tea is easily the best I've ever had, and just the vibe is great, I was studying for finals here for 7.5 hours, however I didn't love the music, but they had free wifi so it's all good. 👍🏼
Fioza, tucked at Chimney Rock and Braeswood, is the kind of neighborhood coffee shop that feels like a warm hug. Owner Mike sets the tone with his laid-back kindness, creating a space where everyone belongs—whether you're a student deep in study, an educator grading papers, or friends catching up over conversation. There's something special about the atmosphere here that sparks creativity and connection. It's more than coffee; it's community. This is my happy place, and I think it'll become yours too. Xoxo-Jo
I went to Fioza almost daily for the short time I lived nearby and it was one of my favorite coffee shops! The food, service, and atmosphere is always incredible! Highly recommend!!
This coffee shop is a true gem. The quality of the coffee is outstanding. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, ideal for both working quietly or catching up with friends. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, which adds an extra touch that makes every visit memorable.

Great place to hang out between picking kids up. Quality of drinks can be excellent to ok depending on who is behind the counter. Atmosphere is very comfy and staff is always pleasant.
Great drinks but kind of overpriced foods. Before the pandemic their hours were already pretty short for a cafe, and now they aren’t open past 3 PM any day of the week. I’m not sure how this place stays open with these hours but I’ll keep coming as long as they are!
Good coffee shop with games and great snacks. Staff are always friendly and there's almost always space, even though it's a favorite studying spot. Kid friendly as well.
I remember when Fioza first opened. I was thrilled not only to have a coffee/tapioca place in the area, but one that knew what they were doing. Over the years it's grown into a hot spot, and for good reason!
Clean inside. Lots of drink choices. Not a whole lot of pastry options. Its great for artists and small businesses, as you are able to promote and sell. Parking is limited and hard to get in and out of when you do get a spot. Service is always friendly, helpful and quick. It's a great place to catch up or study.
Didn't have any food this time. But is a lovely quiet little spot to study, talk, or read. The coffee was good as well; I had the dark roast and medium roast.
Ordered the dirty chai latte and caffe mocha. Large drinks (hot drinks at 16 oz and cold drinks are 22 oz). Very reasonably priced. They have books and board games to play and some art on display. It was good! I don’t think it was my favorite coffee shop but I would recommend coming here over another chain coffee restaurant! Price is worth it
Good coffee stail pastry. Coffee was great but almond croissant wasn't fresh. At the time I ordered, they offered to hit it up, which I found odd at 9.15 AM. I asked if it was made today, they said yes. Once I tried it was obvious it wasn't freshly baked. I asked them again, they said yes it was made today by some downtown bakery and asked me if I want a refund. Regardless, one can expect a fresh pastry at $3.50 a piece. Update. Stopped by for breakfast. They were out of eggs by 11:30. Salt Ruben instead. It was very good.
Background: I've been here several times to study and for business meetings. Feel: A small, artsy and modern coffee and tapioca bar ideal for a long day of work. Drinks/Food: The coffee and espresso are both good, but the real draws are the teas with tapioca pearls. While the drinks are the focus, the Pannini and other food options aren't bad either. Service: The employees are very nice and helpful. I’d never had tea with tapioca pearls, so they let me sample before ordering. Drinks and food both come out quickly. Things to know: - There’s only one table outside, so it isn't a great place to bring dogs - All the tables are small, so it’s difficult to have a large group Overall: Great tea, good coffee and food, and an atmosphere conducive to work and studying. Only downsides are limited outdoor seating and small tables.
Pretty neat place with a friendly cafe atmosphere. Pastries are delivered to them fresh and coffee is freshly ground for each drink. Employees are so-so but, in the end its the passion and delicious drinks that really make up. This is a great spot for a quick fix.
Recently raised prices, but so did everyone. Entrees (like salad) taste great, but not big enough for price, but cake slices and other baked stuff definitely is. You can tell them exactly what you want and they'll alter the drink, but make sure you're specific. Coffee is really good. Generally pretty quiet, hipster music is kind of annoying, but free good wifi and friendly staff.
Great coffee, ambiance good and friendly with good service. A outside an indistinct storefront inside local art and welcoming. The black coffee was good . The mocha was good too with milk alternatives available A first choice in the hood.

I've only been to this place once and bought a croissant and some coffee there. The coffee was alright and the croissant was your basic croissant so nothing spectacular. The service was quick and fast though so I appreciated that!
I only discovered Fioza less then a year ago. I absolutely live their coffee. And I frequently order the avocado toast which is served on toasty Flatbread. It's delicious. The only reason I gave them three stars is because I don't see them wearing gloves when preparing food. They have curtains in their kitchen which allows you to see them make the food. Also, this is after they have handled cash!!! I hope they read this and make it mandatory to wear gloves. Also, their aprons could use a wash. :( wear gloves. By
Coffee was good. Space is a little cramped, but overall good coffee shop vibes. One of the people who works there was dressed inappropriately. She was basically wearing underwear and an oversized t-shirt. It was a little uncomfortable as she was cleaning up tables around the place and her butt cheeks were hanging out. I know this is a coffee shop, but have a little standards for your employees.
Their coffee is good, service is so so but their bubble tea (or tapioca tea) is terrible! The milk tea part is average but the boba is the worst I have ever had, it's low quality cooked wrong and kept way too long. I love bubble tea and was excited to try theirs since it's near my house. I went one time in the afternoon and it was awful and I thought maybe they had just only made one batch all day so I tried it a different day in the morning and it was still awful. Their coffee has been fine but I was so severely disappointed by the bubble tea I don't even want to go there anymore.
Beware of their pastries. Came in to buy a plain croissant to go. It was hard, stale and tasted like cheese. It went straight to the trash as soon as I got home. What a waste of $4.50
Small place, no parking. I actually got scared going to this center, its location is near an apartment complex and the area just got worse over time!
Great customer service but nastiest drinks ive ever had in my life. I Got 2 drinks that taste like they’re made from old coffee water. I don’t taste any espresso they’re watered down and unflavored.
