Recensioni di Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet Humble
Everyrhing was fresh, the salads were good, I love tabouli & it was awesome! Lamb & chicken reall good. Fresh pita & the soups were flavorful. I like eggplant but usually don't like different places baba ganoush but it was really good here. A great selection of food for people following vegetarian or vegan meal plan.
This is a nice little place. The buffet is incredible. Lots of choices and the rose water is delicious. I recommend this place as a good place for a family meal. The gentleman at the register, not sure if he was the manager or owner, but he was polite and explained everything to us when we walked in.
Service? Cannot rate, they don't really provide any service. However, the food and atmosphere are great. I love the atmosphere here. The food is very good and everything is available on the buffet. Everything looks very fresh, lots of very healthy options. I visit at lunch with moderate traffic.
Awesome Too many dishes for only 20$ per person!! ❤️❤️❤️🇦🇫🇦🇫🇦🇫
This Dimassi's has great, well prepared food, with friendly service and a nice, wholesome atmosphere. Nice and spacious place to dine alone, as a couple, family, or even a business outing. The restrooms are usually spotless and thoroughly cleaned! The service is good but only 4 stars due to about 30 minutes delay in cleaning of tables (if it were available, I would have chosen 4.5 star service). Nevertheless, there are usually enough clean tables for seating. The manager and staff work diligently to provide efficient service.
Outstanding Mediterranean food. Large selection! Great spot for anyone who likes this type of food. Awesome buffet. Great salad buffet.
My brother has been singing the praises of Dimassi's for years, begging us to try this place. It always sounded good, but was a bit of a drive so it was never at the forefront when we discussed what to have for dinner. I'm glad we finally gave it a shot. My brother was eager to show us all of his favorites, and I love to try new things so I welcomed the chance. The watermelon salad was a surprising favorite for me, as well as the eggplant roasted with pomogranate molasses. My mom wasnt interested in the stuffed grape leaves because they were served chilled, but I quite liked them. Essentially everything qas chock full of vegetables and tossed with delicious spices. I could make a list, but that would be a waste of time. Just know that everything was deicious. Both the rose water and the watermelon mint lemonade were very refreshing. The highlight of dinner was definitely the thick, sticky rice pudding, topped with pistachios and just a hint of cinnamon. It reminded me of a fine horchata. The building was big, beautiful and clean. Every interaction with the staff was brief and polite. The bathroom was lovely. Really, the only complaint I have is one the owner would probably agree with. There were far too few people in the building, far too few other customers, so at times it felt like eating in a library. I didnt even manage to try half of what was available, so I WILL be going back. If you like trying new things, I recommend you do so too.
We’d eaten here a while back and it was good, but we came back this evening and it was amazing! The avocado hummus was awesome! Loved it and will definitely be back. :)
Huge variety of tasty and healthy choices. As a vegetarian I was very happy indeed with all the options. My meat eating husband was also well satisfied. If you like eggplant don't skip the braised eggplant with pomegranate molasses.
The owner (very elegant lady acting as cashier) was very helpful when I asked her about the food. Explained to me about ringing the bell for the "special bell" to ring for the world-famous lamb.
Got some food to go. The buffet is definitely worth it though if you’re dining in. Great assortment of foods, especially if you are vegan or vegetarian. Their food is fresh, yummy, & substantial to get full. Lots of seating in the restaurant. Pretty spacious. Highly suggest the eggplant, baba ghanoush, avocado hummus, & falafel.
Good food and plenty to choose from. Clean bathrooms and friendly service
They were out of lamb shanks but more options compared to other locations, great place to enjoy Mediterranean food and try almost everything
This is our first time here and it is a great place for Mediterranean food! The price and quality is the best I've ever seen. For dinner and weekend, you can order the lamb shank upon request which is super tender and flavorful. The buffet choices are great and always fresh. They never ran out of anything and the refill them for the entire time. The pita bread is made fresh and serve warm. They go great with many of the hummus choices. We will definitely come back for more and highly recommended!
The building was very clean and the food was delicious! I am middle eastern, so I'm not easily impressed by middle eastern/Mediterranean food. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food had authentic flavors and wasn't altered to fit American tastes. Everything was flavorful and seasoned well, and I went back for multiple plates. I don't eat meat, so I was happy to find a huge section of delicious vegetarian food. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
Self service buffet. Lots of options. There are a ton of vegetarian options here, for me the assortment of chicken preparation is fantastic and the salad is great.
We loved the variety of food. Everything was hot and fresh, and tasty! The pita bread was especially great, and I tried it with the several types of hummus. On top of that, the gentleman at the front of house was walking around with the brightest smile. He made the experience extra pleasant!
Excellent buffet food. Fast, fresh, and delicious. Wide variety of Mediterranean food to choose from. 3 kinds of hummus, lots of fresh hot bread and pitas, plus a nice assortment of vegetables. The lamb shank is my favorite, only served on weekends and you must ring the bell and ask for it specifically. Very clean restaurant. Make sure a f save room for the Baklava it is fantastic!
The restaurant was very clean. The people were also very nice to me and my party. Very spacious. You can sit wherever you want. You pay after. This was my first experience drinking rose water. I’m a huge fan of roses. But I never consumed one. It was extremely delicious and tasted how you would think a dose would taste. But it’s very flavorful and strong. The food was fresh. All kinds of hummus and fresh hot pita bread. So many delicious salads to choose from. Nice sweets. I especially loved the vanilla ice cream. It was very sweet and creamy. The baklava was also very good. So many amazing salads to choose from. My favorite was the baked fish. My party also really enjoyed the lamb and chicken as well. The lemonade was very good too. Everything was fresh and good quality of food. I would definitely return. I didn’t take many pictures because I was too busy stuffing my face. But a great spot for all you can eat.
Food is great and the prices are reasonable and they let you grab multiple plates my only complaint and this is for the MANAGER PLEASE DO NOT LET KIDS COME UP TO GRAB FOOD AND MAKE A MESS WITHOUT PARENTS WELL PARENTS ARE SEATED NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD
Omg sooo good! This was my first time here and I absolutely loved it. I was totally wanting hummus and they have like 4 different kinds.. Fresh pita bread is constantly getting cooked over a fire. I was so excited about the salads.. I was so looking for something fresh..and that cucumber salad was the bomb. Grilled chicken ..delish! Also an interesting rose water was served. And dont get me started on dessert. I seriously felt like I was in heaven. This is a self serve buffet and you also get your own drinks as well. Price was very reasonable. Calm environment. Really nice family place. ..Why are you still reading this..just go...lol. You won't be disappointed 😉
First visit in like 2 years. Picked me up some buffet to go. Love the vegan options. Only snapped one pic so far. The ones I was getting into on the drive home. 😆 But def got enough for at least 3 meals. Adore the 🌹 water. Only complaint was there was only one size to go cup.
If you are adventurous with food you will love this experience. The venue of the place of beautiful and the food was delicious. Very healthy options available and even things the kids will enjoy. Lamb was amazing! Buffet style so you are able to try as much or as little as you would like. Very friendly staff overall really enjoyed we went for a late lunch and I was stuffed. Ps . Also have a Togo option if you wish to take food to go.
We loved this buffet experience. Lunch was about $18 per person, with drinks and desserts included. As a vegetarian, it was refreshing to have many options. The restaurant is very clean. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff was very nice and professional. We travel full-time and this buffet is in our top 3 in the US.
Very healthy food. It's a peaceful place to eat at. Walk in, fix your food, seat yourself, pay on your way out the door.
Food is always good. Nice place to have a group as this was the second time some of my spiritual JW family meet for food and fun 😊
It's a cornucopia of Mediterranean delights ranging from Greece all the way around the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East. Dimassi's is a full buffet. Food is restocked and refreshed frequently. If you would like a lamb shank, you need to make a special order at the counter. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh. Customers are asked to wear a mask and gloves when they visit the buffet.
Great place for middle eastern food. Well worth the price. Always fresh.
The best restaurant in Kingwood!!! My favorite buffet in the World!!! I have been a customer since they open in Humble and every time we go is an awesome experience!!! The food is amazing and the service is outstanding!!! The best part is that beside delicious they offer healthy food!!! They also have sings that tell you the ingredients and they have a ton of vegan dishes!!! We love it all!!! Their customer service is also outstanding, the bus boys, the cooks, the chefs and cashier are always smiling and making sure you enjoy your visit!!! My favorite dishes are the Dimassi’s Eggplant and Baba Ghanouge! Restaurant Extremely recommended!!!
Dimassi's is a wonderful place to eat. The atmosphere and music is relaxing. It is very clean and abides by the state mandated covid guide lines. The food is excellent and hot. They even have lamb shanks that are so tender the meat practically melts in your mouth. Service is also excellent and the staff are very friendly.
The food was delicious and fresh, the price has slowly crept up to no longer be as affordable as it ince was but its nice for an occasional change. My only complaint was that it was uncomfortably warm in there on an 81 degree day in January.
I drive 24 miles to downtown Houston in Montrose to eat at Aladdin's. I have been doing this for years. But now there's a fantastic new place here. There tabouli is amazing. The atmosphere is outstanding.very beautiful decor. Very well arranged. You can host groups and parties here. The prices are fantastic. And the food pictures speak for themselves. I wish you can taste the food and taste how great it is. From the chicken, beef all the way down to the vegetables. The Mediterranean dishes made authenticly and taste very well. This is my new place. I would recommend this to anybody and everyone. In fact if there's any occasion I'm bringing everybody here. Thank you Dimassi's.
Wow! That was delicious! I wasn't sure what to expect but I was impressed. The food was fantastic and the decor was fun, sort of like going to a theme park. There was a huge selection of items, far too many to try them all. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to stop in again. Bravo Dimassi's, well done!
Didn't come for a long time but recently it's really turned around! Service is great and the young gentleman who is often at the front is polite and good about checking in. The food is great with a ride variety of cold and hot dishes!
The entire experience of eating here was wonderful and all of their food has an amazing flavor and is hot and fresh on the line. We will definitely be back! I love that the price for the buffet includes drinks (soda/water, rose water, coffee and tea options) and everything on the line, you definitely get a BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! The staff were very courteous and I love to support a family run business
The best thing I liked about this place, besides having a good selection of dishes for vegans/vegetarians, is they will charge you for wasted food! Buffets are big in the states but even bigger in Texas, and, is the case with most Americans, our eyes are bigger than ours stomachs and our entitlement leads us to believe we can waste as we please, since we paid. Over HALF the food produced in the USA is wasted. That is a crime that should not go unpunished. But back to this restaurant. The food is delicious. It's "pay as you exit", even though the one price covers everything (except waste!) Different prices for lunch vs dinner and seniors get a 10% discount. Plenty of free parking but guests àre encouraged not to leave things off valve in their cars. Two thumbs up!! 👍🏿👍🏿
Very good buffet, and I don’t usually like buffets.
Always wonderful food I enjoy & can have on a specific medication/ prescribed diet. They helped correct an issue with an online order immediately gor my next order.Everyone is always polite & more than willing to correct something if needed. Truly appreciate this business & their variety of healthy delious foods. Thank you again!
We got in late at the airport and we needed someplace with healthy food. I was thrilled to find Dimassi's still open at 9:30 p.m. The next day I was at a party where a local restaurantour was in attendance. I told her how delicious the salads and chicken and desserts were. She's told me her husband goes there frequently. It's not a fancy setting, but it's very delicious and wholesome. The rice pudding was amazing and so was the bakaclava. Monday through Thursday is a little bit cheaper, and as in all you can eat buffet. They do charge if you don't eat all your food because they want to avoid waste of their lovely products. I hope you can visit soon!
Good, healthy food. We were there after lunch rush and enjoyed a buffet with delicious Mediterranean dishes. We helped ourselves to tasty pastries and a good cup of coffee. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Food is always great every time I come here! My favorites are the soups, the kabob meats, and the Dimassi's chicken. And of course, the lamb shank! Food is always fresh as they make it a point to replace the food if it's sitting out for too long. I also like that they enforce a charge for excessive food waste!
We had a Christmas get-together here for work. We arrived right at opening, so it was slow, and the food was hot and fresh. The display of food was appetizing. The restaurant looked clean. The variety of food choices was great, and the food that I chose to eat was really good. I would most definitely go back. I looked for a location closer to my house, which there isn't one, but I kind of wish there was. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures.
Dimassi’s is hands-down one of my favorite places to eat, especially for vegan options. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and full of variety. I love that I can enjoy a full, delicious meal without worrying about limited choices. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the buffet always has something new to enjoy. Truly one of the best spots for vegan-friendly Mediterranean food!
There are a lot of pluses for this restaurant! It’s very clean and staff always keeps it clean. The service is great and their staff are friendly. There’s a ton of variety! It’s a healthier option against the other buffets since they have more veggie options. Bread is always hot and fresh. They have pizza for those wanting it. And they also have a variety of meat. And desert is included as well. Everything we ate was good! From the veggies, hummus, grape leaves, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, falafel, cauliflower, eggplant to the chicken, kabob and fish were all delish and packed with flavor! And the lamb shank was so tender and tasty! And the best part, it’s affordable! And I’m glad we don’t have to drive far either. Highly recommend!
Did not notice this hidden gem in my area. Came for dinner and was not disappointed. Everything was fresh and tasty. It basically is a self serve buffet.Sit wherever you want which I like , get your food and drink and pay on your way out after finished your meal. You can alert the staff by ringing the bell at the counter if help is needed.Staff kept the food tray full constantly. They are friendly.
So yesterday after a Long Hot day at work I went looking for a place to eat. I went to a restaurant I had been seeing for months close to where I live Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet. I found lots of Delicious and Hot food to choose from. A tremendous amount of Vegetables in the form of salads & soups Great for you Vegetarians. Also very Flavorful Roasted chicken n Rice, Grilled on site Ground beef steaks with sautéed tomatoes and Gyro (sliced lamb). There's so much available that I can't list it all. You just need to try it. I can tell you the cost per plate is about $18 but, what your getting is in my opinion worth alot more. I highly recommend it. 😋🐄🐔🐑🍅🍛🍚🍗😋
I'm impressed and don't regret it one bit! Been driving past this place for years but just couldn't get myself to try Mediterranean food because I had no idea what to expect. My niece shared that they had a pleasant experience here so I finally tried it. I couldn't tell you how authentic it is but from all the different flavors my taste buds encountered I can tell you I walked out fat, full and happy. The restaurant is very clean, and spacious. Currently you are encouraged to wear a mask and gloves while at the serving line. I'll be seeing you again soon Damassi's to try your evening/weekend additions.
Everything.. everything is fresh.. I've been eating here for years and it's consistently awesome buffet. All you can eat. The price has gone up a little bit over the years, but what hasn't?

I loved how delicious the food was. Very clean and healthy. The staff was very nice as well. Will definitely be coming back!
Even though it's an "all you can eat buffet" it's very good quality. The variety of dishes is outstanding. The price/value is great. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Everything I've tried has been delicious. The price can't be beat for the food offerings. We went mid-afternoon on a weekday and it was not crowded.

Overall, the food is good. It is a great choice if you're doing a Mediterranean diet or just enjoy that type of food. It is buffet style, and the atomsphere is relaxing. It brings a blend of soft lighting with the aromas of the different seasonings used to prepare the food.
While I wouldn't call it authentic Mediterranean. It's still pretty good all you can eat buffet. Food is always fresh. The rose water is a bonus. I like the falafels. The lentil soup is good, it reminds me of homemade split pea. Lots of vegetarian dishes. I used to think the prices were a little high, but when a #2 , at water burger with a large fries and drink cost over $15, Dimassi's is a bargin.
This is my favorite restaurant: so much variety and flavor! My husband prefers meat and other heavy fare. I love vegetables and fish. We both leave Dimassi's full and satisfied. We took our youngest children there for lunch this week; they both found plenty of great meat options, sides & desserts. 2022 update: it's been a while since my husband and I have gone to Dimassi's. The food is still great, but the price has increased while the service has greatly diminished. No one bussed our table the entire time we were there, and the gal at the register was on her phone for the duration of our visit. Sadly it's no longer a 5 star experience.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of quality food at a reasonable price. I love the lamb shank which is limited to one for each dinner and weekend guest. I also love the original hummus with fresh pitas. Most other food are also good but they are not fresh or hot enough, especially the fried fish.
This place was really good and the food was pretty fresh. All the salads were well seasoned and tasted great. Zataar bread also had a good flavor. Falafels could be improved. And just to note that the cost is more during the weekend than what it is on weekdays. Lamb shanks are offered only during dinner on weekdays and all day during weekends. Soft drinks, ice teas, coffee are also included in buffet price. There is also vanilla soft serve.
Pretty good Mediterranean food with a reasonable price point. Can take food to go. Went around dinner time on a Friday night, wasn’t very busy, so some of the food wasnt super fresh, but overall worth the visit.

We drove there today with the expectations of another great dining experience. When we walked in the door a sign said "Holiday price $25" (Normal price is $20.) We left to dine elsewhere..... It's discracrful to gouge customers just because it's a holiday when the menu/buffet is 100% the same as always. Shame on you, Dimassi's
I've tasted way better Mediterranean food for a way cheaper price, maybe the place is Convenient to the people never by. Not too many selections and it can be way better.
Food all had a good taste. But some of the meats like the fried chicken was ice cold.
So many vegetarian options. I was full before I finished my first plate. It's a buffet but they have you sanitize and wear gloves. I loved the food but took away 2 stars because 3rd dining room area floor was filthy and one of the servers/cooks was at the buffet touching her face and digging in her eyes while messing with food. Gloves on or not that was gross. Other than that beautiful place.
The reason I'm giving a 3 star is because we come here often and today is the worst I've ever seen it. Seems like they had no clue what needed to be done and changed out. Chicken was very hard to chew. The pita bread was burned. Sat there and waited to see if fresh food would come out, and I'm still waiting as I type this post. I'm not one to waste food, but this time, it was a have, too. I hope next time it's better.
You could eat as much as you want and the food variety was really good, but it does not mean that all the dishes were delicious. If you are more into the taste of food than its portion, I believe you could spend less on a much tastier food in some other similar restaurant, without a buffet.
Nice and clean. And quiet during lunch on a Wednesday. I love mediterranean food so I was excited to find this place. But the flavors weren’t as rich as I expected. But they have good food though! Like the goat for example and their fresh pita bread! Definitely try their spicy avocado! Recommend only eating in not to-go. Their to-go is only coming in and scooping it yourself.
I used to love this restaurant , but lately looks abandon, the entrance is always dirty, trash in the floor an doors not clean at all. They have a new rule, even if you come to eat at 3 , lunch, but you leave what ever minutes after 4, you get charge for dinner , that is 2 dollars more. Food have change a lot too more pastas and rice and lees meats and fish. Dessert quality is bad, they ate dried and maple is just water and sugar.
Gyros meat is hardly ever out on buffet and that is the main reason I go there. They don't refill quick enough. I do love the place cards that explains what the dishes are and what's in them.
I’ve been going to different locations of Dimassi’s since 2012, they’re salads, fresh pita and roasted chicken kept me trying them when the price was 8.99 per lunch buffet. I went this time after a long day, sat down and ate my usuals, it was good even though the pita wasn’t fresh, it was a slow time of the day and it made sense. Then I see they have lamb shanks upon request, I thought cool because I hate lamb and I don’t want to be charged for a luxury dish I didn’t even eat. It was 4pm. Lamb belongs to dinner hours. While I was still eating two men, a Caucasian in his 60’s and another younger man went to lay at the register, I heard him say “you can’t charge him dinner price, he didn’t even eat lamb, I did” and then they continued without any further discussion. Their price was adjusted by his request. It’s obvious when someone didn’t eat lamb because to request it, you ring a bell. When I went to pay for my quick late lunch they charged me dinner price, I mentioned respectfully I hadn’t had dinner price and she said I came at lunch hours. I paid $20 for food that was sitting there. For that price I could have gone to Chuy’s and watch my freshly made sizzling fajitas cooking at the moment. I could have eaten at a restaurant. For a buffet plate to cost 20 it has to be like Tokyo One used to be before the pandemic, seafood and a cook standing in front of every item making sure of freshness and service. I go to a location of Dimassi’s in Westheimer that has a drive through and they make a big fresh shawarma with hot French fries and a drink for 8.99. Lost a client
First time eating at Dimassi's, setup bar was great which contained a great variety of delicious saladas and the Topica was really good. Meals were not hot nor warm they were more on the cooler side. Desserts were not very good. I liked that they had coffee included in the buffet. Place was clean but tables and chairs could use an update.

I went to Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet for the first time, a few weeks ago, as it was highly recommended, but I was disappointed. Upon entering I was greeted with a warm welcome, but the atmosphere was very dark and gloomy. Before eating I went to go use the bathroom, unlike other restaurants were the bathroom is cool, Dimassi's was extremely warm. Although they have a wide variety of food, it was very bland, and some cold and luke warm. While dining I had witnessed who I assumed is the Manager, chase after a family after they left the restaurant no longer wanting to eat there. I can tell by the look on the cashiers face that they were very uncomfortable and embarrassed with the actions of their manger. I then witnessed the cashier go after the manager to convince them to come back inside. I don't know how this restaurant has such high rating, I highly don't recommend this place.
BE AWARE that you will pay the price when you leave the restaurant even if you arrived during the previous price point time. And no warning. WE ARRIVED AT 3:10 (DURING LUNCH SESSION) AND CHECKED OUT 14 MINUTES INTO THE DINNER HOUR, which starts at 4 pm. No other Dimassi does this, and I believe we've eaten at 4 in the Houston area and one in Dallas. It's one of our favorite buffets. Hoping they put a note on the price sign.
I’ve been a customer at this restaurant before, but ever since the new owner took over, everything has gone downhill. He completely changed t. At first, he told us the 2 sauce was free, and then later asked us to weight, clearly trying to manipulate the situation. His attitude shows that he’s more interested in taking money out of people’s pockets than serving good food with good intentions. He even behaved rudely with me today, and that was the last straw. I will never return to this restaurant again. This new owner is arrogant, greedy, and clearly running the place with a mindset of exploitation rather than hospitality. People like him don’t deserve to be in the food business. The new owner has completely ruined this restaurant. He clearly does not want people to order food to-go. Instead, he wants customers to sit there, spend $22–$23, eat a tiny portion, and then leave—no leftovers, no takeout. If someone tries to order food to-go, he gives a small amount and then physically lifts the box to check the weight, as if customers are trying to steal from him. It’s shocking and embarrassing. This man is not running a restaurant with hospitality or customer satisfaction in mind. He’s just sitting there trying to squeeze every dollar out of customers while giving as little food and respect as possible. His behavior is cheap, greedy, and completely unprofessional. I’ve never dealt with someone so rude and money-minded in a food business. I will never come back here again.
You know I was hesitant in writing a review, but I'm going to write one anyway. I am a regular customer and drive all the way from Pasadena to this Dimassis location never have I had and issue till today. The tall guy with glasses not sure if he is the manager, once it was time to pay I mentioned how only me and my two parents dined in and my two daughters had pizza on the way there (picky eaters) he said very rudely if I had not read the signs and that he would charge me for one of my daughters any ways even if she had not ate symply because we didn't let them know at the frot. We sat at eye view from him and he was continually watching. Won't be going back and feel almost hurt. We drive so far and it completely caught me off guard. I paid 4 meals and only 3 of us ate. Sucks!
This is my first time at this Dimassi’s location and the food was terrible. My wife and I visited on a Saturday evening, which we thought would mean it would be busy and the food would be fresh, but nope. The vegetables were wilted on the salad, the meat was dry, the rice was crunchy, the pita bread was dry, and the baklava was also dry. Everything tasted like it had been sitting out for too long. I love Dimassi’s, but this location is not good. Whoever put good reviews is high as hell. It’s sad to say, but the best thing there was the ice cream. I love Dimassi’s and frequently eat there, but I won’t be back to this location.
Very arrogant guy at the front. I’ve taken as many sauces as needed at this Dimassi’s location before with no issues. I normally take 3–4 sauces and never once had a problem. Today, he was literally weighing the sauces and even weighed the pita bread. Insane. I don’t know what that guy at the front is trying to do. If you have such a problem with to-go orders, then stop offering them. If there is a manger or Dimmassis franchise company whatever please take action we have been loyal customer to this location buy food pretty much 3 times a week. Recently there are issues going on with sauce and meat overcharge etc. I am sure you can not save a lot of money doing cheap things like that. Kindly take action !
My experience at Dimassi’s Buffet was outright unacceptable. The food quality was some of the worst I’ve encountered at any buffet. Most items were cold, dried out, or clearly left sitting far too long. Several dishes tasted borderline old, and nothing resembled the fresh, well-prepared Mediterranean food they advertise. The service was no better. Staff acted indifferent, unresponsive, and overwhelmed. Simple requests were ignored, tables were left dirty, and the buffet area looked neglected and messy. Cleanliness standards were shockingly low for a restaurant charging these prices. In all honesty, this visit felt like a complete waste of money. Dimassi’s delivered neither quality nor professionalism, and the overall experience bordered on careless. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. There are far better options that actually respect customers and serve food that’s fresh, clean, and worth paying for.
usually try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt, but my experience at Dimassi’s Buffet was honestly one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I went in expecting a good meal, considering all the hype around the place, but everything from the food to the service left me frustrated and wondering why I even bothered. Let’s start with the food. For a buffet, the selection looked decent at first, but almost everything tasted old, bland, or just poorly prepared. Several dishes were lukewarm at best, like they had been sitting out for way too long without being refreshed. The flavors were flat, textures were off, and nothing really stood out in a good way. Even the items that are usually reliable in buffets—like rice, bread, and simple salads—felt stale or thrown together without care. For the price they charge, I expected at least basic freshness, but what I got honestly felt like leftovers. The service didn’t make things any better. The staff looked overwhelmed and uninterested. It was hard to get simple things like drink refills, clean plates, or even basic attention. I’m not expecting five-star treatment at a buffet, but at the very least I expect politeness and some level of effort. Instead, it felt like they just wanted people to eat quickly and leave. Nobody checked in, nobody bothered to see if anything was wrong, and when I tried to ask a question, I got a rushed, half-hearted response. The overall atmosphere didn’t help either. The place felt chaotic, loud, and not very clean. Tables weren’t being wiped down fast enough, the buffet area had spills and food pieces scattered around, and the whole environment felt more stressful than enjoyable. A buffet is supposed to feel welcoming and plentiful, but this felt like a crowded cafeteria where everything was falling behind. By the time I left, I honestly felt like I wasted my money and my time. I walked in expecting a nice meal and walked out feeling disappointed, unsatisfied, and pretty annoyed. I wouldn’t recommend Dimassi’s Buffet based on my experience. There are plenty of places that offer fresher food, better service, and a cleaner environment for the same price or even less. Save yourself the frustration and look somewhere else—you deserve a better dining experience than this.
Just awful. Trashy parking lot outside with a huge cockroach 🪳 outside by front door when I was coming in and it was there when I left. Pita bread is not warm at all, grilled chicken breast was cold and tough, stuffed grape leaves were cold and hard ground beef inside. Front door glass was VERY dirty, there was several AC condensation leaks through restaurant and “caution signs” located by them , which is ok, but one person walked straight into them knocking them down, no management around anywhere checking on anything and sure enough, next immediate person walked on the signs and slipped and almost fell. My used plates sat on my table the entire time. d. Music and overall mood of the restaurant was depressing. Happy Arabic music would be better suited. Restaurant appears exhausted and not very clean. They put soooo much food out at once that the top mound of all schaffing dishes the food is cold.
