Great Place, and staff. Did my Moms Birthday right
5 stars if Mr. Tommy Forte is behind the bar!
Beloved family bar with personal team and comfort eats and drink
As authentic as American Irish cousin Kenny Finnegan, Sean Goodin & i had a few there 1984?
Great friendly service good quick food
Oldest bar in town. I like it because it's not "trendy."
Hey what can i say bad about this joint.... nothing.. great food..
One of Nana Flo's favorites
Good food
Great old place with a lot of character (and characters)
Historical landmark with delicious food and drinks.

one hundred years old and still making the best burgers in town. add a guinness and you have a meal fit for a king at a great affordable price.
Great food great drinks Irish Pub.
Good food and good prices. The crowd is on the older side which makes for a great mellow Irish pub.
Fixture in Huntington for decades. Been going there since college in the 80s. Great then and great now. (And I got my mittens back!!!)
Been going here for 40 yrs. Great food n cocktails.
Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. Best hamburgers I’ve ever had!
Always love making this a first or last stop when in town. Great little Irish pub with some good bar food
Fun atmosphere to watch Rangers game. Good wings and Reuben sandwich with friendly service.
This chicken sandwhich made me believe there might be a god. Great old school bar. Amazing service.
Fun pub to enjoy a tasty meal.
Amazing service and super wonderful spinach and artichoke dip.
We absolutely love this place. The owner Tom is great! Very warm & welcoming.
Always a pleasure when we go. Been a customer for 50 years, and my parents for 23 years before that.
Great Irish bar. Nice break from all the huntington posh fancy schmancy nonsense.
Great atmosphere, super relaxed. Loved my time here.
Old time pub. Love the atmosphere. Food delicious
I have been coming to Finnegan's for the last few months, but I feel like i have been going there for years. From the first day I walked in I felt comfortable and knew this was the perfect place for me. The staff, especially Tom, Mike, and Caroline were incredible and so welcoming. The chef is incredible as well. His food is amazing! I look forward to stopping in on my lunch break everyday. There is nothing I would change at all. I look forward to the food, seeing Tom, Mike, and Caroline. French fries and quesadillas are my favorite, but everything is delicious. Finnegan's is my daily getaway and I look forward to going everyday. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for everything!
Went for lunch with an 8yo and 12yo. Was surprisingly kid friendly. Offered crayons. Good choice of kid options. Burger was very good. Good steak fries. I had fish tacos which were good. You get three which was a good deal. Waitress was attentive. Bartender was very friendly.
Stumbled onto to this place by mistake it just turns out that this was the best hamburger I've ever had out here ON Long Island was not crazy about the fries but I did love the onion rings next time when I go I will order the onion rings instead of the fries I sat at the bar Dan was the bartender great experience although I didn't like the french fries the hamburger was so good I still gave it five stars
Charlie and Alex made my night! I was visiting from Seattle on a random Sunday and wanted to immerse myself in the culture. They both clearly love their jobs and are super amazing humans. We sat and watched the Jets play SNF and cheered together. Another regular came in and he was a cool dude too. If you're looking for a dive where you can get some authentic Long Island hospitality, I highly recommend finnegans!
Authentic love the place, has that real old school bar vibe the employees are great. The Guinness is gold....
Great, friendly staff. Casual, lively pub. I believe it's one of the oldest places in town back when there were dirt roads. The best Shepherds Pie ever! It's made with Guinness :D
I haven't been to Finnigan's in more years than I can count. My parents went there back in the 30's. I went there in the 60's and it was always wonderful. To see it still alive and well makes me happy. They had the best food and oh the New Year's Eve spread. Thank you for still being there.
My first legal beer was here.True. My 93 year old grandfather has stories of this place from 70 years ago. Really, how does a place stay in business without being great for 100 years? You're in good hands, Just go.
Great food. Great service. I ordered Fish and chips which were really tasty and my husband had burger and chips which he said was good. I would recommend a visit.
Food was delicious! Quiet afternoon, nor crowded inside because the patio outside was open. Cheery, friendly, hometown atmosphere! Always a positive experience!
Maybe the best burger in Huntington. The servers were very friendly as well.
Excellent food & dining . The staff is excellent & the bartenders are so personable which is something I used to do at the Cheesecake Factory for several years. Knowing a great staff & well ran establishment
Don't know what to choose off of the menu, or what local beer to try? Just ask Rich and he will ask the right questions to make it happen. Steak sandwich with Gorgonzola was delicious!
Great little pub with local beer and juicy burgers. Plenty of TVs to watch the game from any angle. Service can be a little slow when busy but that's the case almost anywhere.
Always a pleasure. Warm, friendly, real neighborhood feel. Tommy, the very best bartender around and good, old fashioned food. Just love it!
The food and atmosphere are great. The only problem was that the wait staff kept trying to clear my plate!
Tom F the bartender is outstanding.....tap beers always fresh. Great pub food. old time, classic bar. Think Cheers of Huntington...
An old Huntington meeting place for politicians where the deals are made. Goes back many years and has always had the best food, service, and drinks in town.
This place is a landmark in Huntington Village! Some of the best authentic Irish food you can find. But the real winner here is they have the best burgers in Huntington absolutely delicious juicy not greasy 8oz perfect size. Nobody realizes that you could actually go in there and get one of the best burgers on Long Island. They are reasonably priced and have awesome cottage fries to go with the burger, I definitely encourage you to try. This bar/restaurant always gives me vibes of old Hell’s Kitchen in NYC or an Irish “Cheers” where everybody knows your name... Checkered tables cloths, nice 80’s music softly playing in the background and amazing memorabilia on the walls the place is very clean as well. It’s a cozy take me back Vintage look..they decorated so beautiful for Christmas. I love it!! So many locals and an amazing bar. TVs all around with sports on. Our server Michael was gracious, super friendly came over more than he had too..making sure we were good while helping everyone else that came in. If you’re in the area or you’re going to the Paramount, looking for nice Irish bar food burgers not so fancy then this place is the place for you. They also have an awesome shepherds pie, French onion, soup, fish, and chips steak sandwiches Rueben’s great appetizers too . Check them out you won’t regret it! A+++++++++++++++++++++
Excellent experience all around! The food was cooked perfectly, the drinks are great too! Right now during the Christmas season, they are decorated with wreaths and right outside is Wall Street (the closed off road with the large decorated tree, Christmas music, Santa) What we ate: Guinness Pot Roast (Outstanding comfort dish, so tender, flavorful) Finnegan Burger (Juicy, thick, cooked perfectly) Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich (Crispy, seasoned nicely, chicken cooked just right) This is a small Irish pub, there's tables(small and large), and a bar to sit at as well. They have a large assortment of beers (we had Stella and Corona), and cocktails(I had the Hot Chocolate Martini, tasted like an adult Yoohoo). Service was excellent as well, everyone is super friendly, everything came out quickly, and was cooked perfectly (even with a full house).
A fixture in Huntington before, during, and after Prohibition! (1912) We tried their burger sliders, shepherd's pie with Guiness gravy, chopped salad, macaroni and cheese, and crispy chicken sandwich. All tasty and the chicken was our favorite. Atmosphere (4.5/5 [5/5 if Tommy is working the bar]) Food (4.8/5) Service (5/5)
The food's presentation and taste are perfect! Beer was also excellent 👌
Love this place, I live in Colorado and haven't been here in 20 years and it's still one of the best Pubs on the Island.

Nice home time pub feel to the place.
Finnegans accommodated myself and about 10 friends last night at the very last minute! The service was incredible – Mike is the BEST!!!! The pot roast was tasty as well! Just a really nice cozy atmosphere and we had the best time! Definitely will be back 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I was passing through Huntingdon for a night, for the first time. Laden with luggage, I'd hoped to find a quiet beer garden with shade to spend a few hours before my afternoon train. Finnegan's was perfect - an absolutely brilliant experience. Everyone was so friendly, beer was cold, and the chicken pesto special sandwich was delicious. I was hoping for a train cancellation so I could stay longer but it wasn't to be - I hope to be back sometime. Thank you for your hospitality and friendly welcome.
Local pub with long history in Huntington. Very good food and great selection of draught beers on tap, as well as full bar. Fun atmosphere and great service. In addition, they have a legendary bartender named Tom who is the best ever at Trivia. Makes the time spent here all the more fun.
In from outta town to see a show at the Paramount and decided dinner and drinks at the last minute. Was a great choice. DAN the bartender was beyond exceptional. Very nice quick with his service and a very busy bar and time of day. Food was also very very good.
Omg oh wow talking about great food especially for when your hungry. I thought the waitress was pleasant and the bartender/ waiter was really nice
Good bar food (we had wings and nachos). Very prompt and nice service. Music not too loud. A good place to meet friends, have a drink a d catch up.

Great bar food
Nice Irish pub
Great Guinness Great burgers Great people
Nice little pub, food was great!
Delicious food but takes long for service
Great time good food and prices
Fun spot, didnt like cover charge.
The Shepherd Pie is really good.
Great bar cozy feel
Great local pub spot, food is great, try the wings, and the beer selection is your standard Irish pub selection.
Food was excellent. Nice place. Only down side was they charge you for soda refills.
Cozy atmosphere, decent pub food, small outdoor space in the rear and parking in back. No Harp on tap though!
Great food at a good price. Nice atmosphere, and friendly service.
Great food great atmosphere old town bar classic
Good bar service, decent selection, close to lots of parking and shops.
We went here as part of Food fine it mystery tour. The burger was really, really good. The fries were seasoned good too. The atmosphere was your typical bar, a little tight squeeze at the table but it was fine.
Went recently on a weekend afternoon with the family for a quick bite. Typical irish pub and a nice local, older crowd inside. The burger was pretty good and Smithwicks and Guinness on tap-- that about sums it up. I enjoyed it.
Went for lunch. Good burgers.
Nice little pub with great food. Fish and chips were very good and so was my wife's chicken sandwich. Great French onion soup too.

Poor service
It's a nice little Irish Pub and they have a Pub menu
Sat at a table when the restaurant was half-vacant. Took about 15 minutes to get two drinks, and another 10 minutes to place order for two burgers. Took over 35 minutes to get our food. Our server started cleaning off other tables. Had to remind her of side order that was not received and to refill drink that had been empty for a while. Burgers were good. Service was terrible.
I came 3/17 on St Patrick’s day. We got the corned beef and cabbage. The corned beef had a tough spot that I couldn’t eat. Also I expected corned beef to be saltier and more flavorful, as it’s brined in salt and spices for days, but it wasn’t, so I had to add salt to give it flavor. Potatoes were a bit softer than I liked (i prefer more firm) and no real flavor either (i know that’s typical for this dish but could have been boiled in salt water at least) so I had to add salt as well. Cabbage was cooked well but also needed salt. And nothing was hot unfortunately. Just warm. Also the dish was 27 dollars and potatoes and cabbage are cheap and the only costly item was the corned beef and they really don’t give that much. Also I would have loved a piece of rye bread or irish soda bread. Great atmosphere and staff working hard but wish the food was better.

Over priced for a bar and grill. Food ok
My wife and I went there for lunch today. And were surprised at how busy it was. We had never been there before. Unfortunately our food was pretty bad My wife had shepherd's pie which was tasteless and I had a Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich which was equally tasteless with the sweet potato fries, which were decent. wish I had something more positive to say but I'm being truthful. probably won't be returning.

Rude bartender. They treat locals like trash and only care about money.
Not the friendliest waiters and waitresses
new uniforms make you look like seaworld trainers
A couple days ago i went to this bar everything was just bad starting from the food to the atmosphere the food was super greasy and also heard some of the employees talking about the owner buying old oil and using it for the food that they serve, the food is not cheap they could at least use good oil but no they buy old oil to sell their food , I also saw a rat for me that’s just gross i would never go to this place ever again.
False advertising and disappointing. Saw they had live music on Instagram. When my friends and I got there, there was no live music. One of the staff members were extremely rude. Naturally we left immediately and went to a different bar that actually had live music and had a really great time!
Probably one of the worst dining experiences ever. We decided to sit inside, which probably was the first sign to run; there are flies everywhere. Thankfully, they hung by the light fixtures and left us alone for the most part. My fiance and I are 30 and 26, and the waiter (who looked barely 21) was bending out IDs trying to see if they were fake. He claimed that my fiance had a beard in his ID and then asked "what happened to it?", my fiance explained he's a grown man who saves his facial hair. The Irish pub uses 1.5 ounces of liquor, but the drinks taste insanely watered down. Stick with beer if you don't want to spend $25 for a decent drink. We ordered wagyu as an appetizer, don't bother, it's just a hot dog wrapped in one of those frozen everything seed pastries. The food was insanely greasy so we didn't finish, nor did we take it home. The service was what did it for me though, not one smile from the minute we got in to the minute we left. I heard our waiter talking to the bartending about me from across the room, while he was making eye contact with me and pointing at me. Probably the worst way to spend $120. I could've spent a whole day at six flags and got healthier, sub par quality food.
Extremely disappointing experience. For a restaurant that wasn't full, I waited over an hour for my meal. Even after a mistake on the order, it took another 30 minutes to remake it. When I was told 10 minutes For a wrap? By the time my food arrived , everyone had well finished their meals. Servers were inattentive and didn't come back for even refills on water or drinks. I will not be coming back.
