I've been to bagel places all over the island. I usually expect to wait a while as they are always popular. I was able to walk in, purchase a large order, pay, and walk out in under 5 mins. Great food great service.

I have been going to here for over 2 years now and the woman whom she was referencing happens to work not only every day of the week but is there any time of the day to which I have gone in such location. I can assure you that nothing of her will nor any of the other works is ever ill. Bagels are nice and fresh. They last for at least 3 days. The best bagels in this community. Just tried the fried egg, Swiss cheese and bacon on a roll. Very good and the ladies are so nice and welcoming. Much better than that other bagel place.

This is one of the better bagel shops I've been to. It's conveniently down the block from my house. The staff is very friendly & down to earth. The only "dislike" about this place is that its a little pricey. But it's very clean & the food is amazing!

We had been visiting family on Long Island, and on our way home, we had stopped in for a quick, breakfast bite. We all had coffee and tea, bagels with cream cheese or butter, and eggs on rolls. Everything was great, but the bagels were fantastic! I decided to buy a dozen bagels to take back to the Hudson Valley. When I went to pay, the gentleman behind the counter said, "On the house! Thank you for your service to our Country." I didn't realize that I was wearing my Desert Storm Veteran hat, and it was Nov 10th, the day before Veteran's Day. The guys at Terrace Bagelry & Deli made my day... Good food, and kind hearts! How could you go wrong?

Great place, bagels made fresh every morning. Delicious egg sandwiches at reasonable prices. Friendly staff even on a busy day at the crack of dawn. Just a fantastic deli, by far the best in the area.

The islip area has several Bagel joints. Terrace Baglery is one of two that I go to. They have a large sitting area so you can enjoy your food there, with a TV usually showing local news. The bagels are consistant, and predictably good. They cook them enough that they have a good skin on them. Toppings are generous, you'll never get a poppy/sesame seed with three seeds on it like some places. They have a full contingent of Deli showcase refrigerators filled with every variation of cream cheese you can think of, including Lox. The staff is pleasant and friendly. If you haven't been, give them a try.

Egg sandwiches are Delicious. They cook your eggs in the bacon grease and I like that. The Rolls and Bagels are very good too. Best place in the area!!!!

Solid breakfast sandwiches and bagels. They need to get a better system of order of ordering. It looks like a long line when it is not. Waiting two mins to order a fine for me but two customers in front walked out when they saw what looked like a huge line.

Bagels were mostly fine, everything bagels were way too heavy on poppy seeds , and plain bagels were really overdone :( Around 17 dollars for a dozen so pretty average for pricing. The woman who helped me is the difference between 3 and 4 stars. She was super friendly and very sweet.

Really good place. Mornings are best for the freshest food here. The only drawback is the place is really popular and there's always a pretty long wait. And sometimes the workers are real snotty and act like your bothering them. I actually don't go here too much anymore because if that one single reason.

Absolutely in love with this place!! Ever since I moved here I have visited this place almost religiously. It has great atmosphere, the staff is very helpful and kind, and the owner has got a few good jokes lol and is almost always in a good mood, ready to greet his patronage. The food is great, reasonably priced and made to order just how you like it. I would definitely suggest a visit if you're in the area!!

Today I gave Terrace Bagelry & Deli a 4 Star rating because their Ladies bathroom was closed. They have been good about having their bathrooms open for customers but not today....service good bagels good. UPDATE: I wanted to update this review. The next time I went to Terrace Bagelry both the staff and the owner spoke to me about the bathroom issue. The one bathroom needed repair that is why it was closed. I am very impressed that the staff and owner cared enough to speak with me. This is a 5 Star establishment.

Stopped in around 130 to get tuna on a bagel. The place was empty so I was able to order quickly. The bagel was a bit stale but it was late in the day for these guys as they close at 3. The tuna was good and so was the service. They were not very friendly but they were professional. They have a good selection of bagels and toppings. There are a few seats, so eating in would not be an issue here. The place is plain, but it's a bagel store. The restaurant is clean, although I did not check the bathrooms. Prices are average for a bagel store. If you are in the area and want a bagel, this is a good choice. This place is in a small shopping center so parking is not a problem.

Very good service I usually dont wait long to be served and all staff is friendly, they gave my son a free cookie and there is free coffee or tea with your breakfast order before I believe 11am. Breakfast sandwiches have been good not greasy like some places or skimpy I have not tried other menu items yet. I will definitely go back. Prices are a little higher than the usual at a corner store.

The bagel could have been cooked more. The young lady who took my order, though very nice, had to get my order repeated 2 or 3 times (this was her 3rd day on the job).

use to be a lot better, now they are very slow. even when calling in an order usually takes a while to get in & out when i call purposely to make the situation faster and sometimes they say they are to busy to take phone orders and that’s really inconvenient...but besides that the hours are convenient and it’s close to home.

The food here is delicious but I just cannot defend the prices. The last time I went there, it was almost $15 for just TWO egg sandwiches! I was completely taken aback. Its such a shame because the food is good, but with outrageous prices like that I cannot justify coming back. I know times are hard and inflation is crazy, but not enough to charge $7+ for an egg sandwich.

Bit much in price but I will say the food is really good and I never mind paying bit more than other places.. this place was our savior when we first moved to the area 4 years ago. It was going very well until we had to start giving our credit card information over the phone for a pick up order. I like to pay in cash and don't really like to give my card information over the phone and having it repeated out loud when other people can hear it and I don't like to wait around for food orders that's why I call ahead. it really kind of turned me off to do eat here if I can't just order over the phone and pay cash when i arrive... will still come here but probably not as often sorry...

3rd add: They're still handling cash then touching food. Same people handling food is also handling the cash register, cards & money and I find that gross. Add: The gloves weren't taken off or changed during & after handling the register, credit cards to finish making food, I witnessed it today.

I come here very often. These are nice people never had a problem. My family and I love it here. First time I had a issue with my food. I came back to get a redo on my order. There is a Spanish lady with pink hair that made my order again. I felt like she was upset to have to make it again. I asked for salt and pepper she drowned my turkey bacon egg and cheese with a lot of pepper I am also expecting. All she doing is making bad business and not being completely fair to customers. Like I said I never had a problem there before. These people are very nice. She must be new around there.

This deli use to be my favorite. But lately not so good. The rolls for the morning sandwiches have been hard and old last few times I orderd a sandwich. Also I went there to get a hot roast beef sandwich with cheese And gravy. They put the meat and cheese in the microwave! It was all gross and nasty. Idk i use to love this deli but it sucks now

Service is slow. You cannot refill your coffee if you are eating there. no longer have special price on bagels after three or four o'clock. Manager is not a customer-friendly person.

Ok spot to get a bagel in a pinch. Even when toasted the bagels are more rubbery than having that nice outer crunch and soft inside. It was so awful I threw it out after eating 1/4 of it . Def do not come here if you are looking for service with a. smile- everyone looks miserable- never once get a smile when coming here. Also the employees do everything with the same gloves on. Take the order, touch the food, take a drink of their own beverage and then come take money all with the same gloves. There are def better spots in a 5 mile radius than here

I go in there often because there's no other bagel place around and the people are pretty rude there but I deal with it. This morning I went in ordered 4 egg sandwiches I thought the price was high so I asked for a receipt, with a little attitude the lady gave me my receipt and that's when I noticed I was charged for an extra sandwich. Then it took her five minutes to get the owner to open the drawer to give me my money. Neither of them apologized and when I said something about it the owner said sarcastically" have a nice day Billy". Yeah it's Billy so I hope you (the owner) remember me and know that I'm the person that's giving you a bad review

These people do not want your business. I work nearby and our company purchases several times a week. They are rude, they often get the orders wrong, and I've found MOLD in my breakfast and lunches on 3 separate occasions. With all the other delis in this area, we won't be returning.

I ordered 2 sandwiches and my order was completely messed up. Upcharged me for bacon on one of them that I never asked for and put onions on them which I was allergic to. I was the only customer in the store and I waited patiently for everything so it's not like they were rushing.

Horrible customer service and rude employees. If you don't jump up and down and wave your hand or something you will never even get to order. There has been at least three times I have stood on the line and no one asked if I was being help or if I am ready to order. I just end up walking out and going to D&A Terrace Deli. At least there I can go in I get asked right away what I want and I'm on with my day. You would think that knowing another deli is so close that you would make people want to come back. I will never spend a dime at this place again.

First and last time going here. I had the easiest order. Only 2 things! Eggs sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. And a pumpernickel bagel. We got home and had no cheese on egg sandwich and had wrong bagel.

Stale rolls and bagels, everything is terribly overpriced, the workers seem off in la la land and lastly the manager/owner is a bad person (doesn’t pay his workers and tells them each night if they are working the next day or not) AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! It’s on Long Island NY so bagel places are a dime a dozen.

Terrible, before today it was always okay, the woman who helped me today was rude, and unpleasant! The customer service, the woman taking my order, was miserable, I was reading other reviews, and 5 of them say the same thing, the attitudes of the employees is terrible! I ordered eggs, cheese, bacon on a bagel, but there was no cheese, she asked me if I wanted American Cheese, and I said yes! But no cheese, albeit I paid for it! I don’t think I will be going back there anymore. Mostly because of the rude woman taking my order, not because of the incorrect order. Smh!

My First time went to this place was referred by a fellow officer. I asked for Russian dressing which they did not have np. They had 1000 island which may be nuts I never tried. I asked to have alittle in a cup to try it the lady tells me put my hand out an brings the dressing bottle putting it on my hand when everyone else now will be using that. I asked for well done bacon on grille instead of telling me it was closed they put in microwave. So because I stated oh I wanted it on the grille the nasty owner or manager wanted to kick me out the store cause his employee didn't tell me grille was closed. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE an obviously unsanitary touching my hand with a dressing bottle.. would not recommend souly based on there attitudes not friendly at all ANSWER FOR OWNER : Of course you would say that to protect your business but just like other reviews stated same about ur customer service an issues. If I could give this place no stars I would. They are the worst in town!!! Every time I go there after the new owner took over the staff is nasty, I get shells in my eggs, they can’t even make a bagel right!! I tell them to toast it they just butter it and slop it together!!! The cream cheese is usually bad!!! If you want a friendly place that doesn’t have any of these issues go across the street there’s a bagel/deli place there!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I keep telling my husband to stop going to this place bc they keep messing up and when you ask for a refund they get attitude!!!!!

Bagels are ok- a bit on the thin side. Issue is food workers food safety. No one changes their gloves ever. The taller skinny woman with long brown hair takes phone orders, slices the bagels, handles cash, and all with the same gloves. When asking to have her change the she rolls her eyes. She is same employee eating and drinking near the food and not washing hands

I ordered some bagels from this place on door dash and they messed up the entire order. I wrote in each comment section if each bagel was toasted or not toasted and whether to put butter on the bagel or on the side. when the order was delivered none of the bagels matched wha I put in the note section. unfortunately this isn't the 1st time I have had this problem from this bagelry.

Just moved to the area, was looking forward to having a 4 star rated bagel spot. The bagel was subpar, and I was charged $5.42 for a $3.50 sandwich. Was supposed to have two eggs, on a bagel, this is with egg whites.
