Recensioni di Kombu Ivrea
I'd honestly give it 4 stars because everything was excellent: service, quality, fresh fish, nice, clean atmosphere. But two flaws: 1) I know they have two soy sauces, one of which is very bitter and for my personal taste, but without knowing, I always used that one, thinking the nozzles were the same. The other thing is the price, I found it just a tad expensive, as if you'd pay 5/6 for a Margherita pizza at Insolita, but here we'd pay 6.5. Otherwise, I'm satisfied; if you want a change from the all-you-can-eat, it's fine! It's also a courageous place, with friendly staff. It's a good place to be.
Beer and expertly prepared sushi - all very good...
A very nice place, offering a variety of sushi options. From traditional to vegetarian, or with cooked fish for those who are hesitant about raw fish. The desserts and beers are also excellent. To soak up the atmosphere, I recommend using chopsticks. The staff is very friendly and available to answer any questions. The prices are perfectly in line with the quality!
Great sushi and good service! Tasty and inviting dishes, different from the usual and very well presented. Small but nice and clean place, possibility to bring your four-legged friend. Perfect quality/price ratio, lunch menu from 10 to 12 euros including miso soup or Japanese rice with water and a sushi course. Convenient area for parking and nice for a post-lunch walk since the restaurant is located near the Dora river. Recommended, I will definitely be back!
Food and service were great and the atmosphere was amazing, too bad I came around closing time but their selection of sushi was rather large 8/10 would recommend
The food was very good and well-presented, with very fresh fish and well-cooked rice. The staff was a bit cold and unresponsive. There's no parking nearby, but you can find one in Piazza del Rondolino. The portions are a bit large; they could make them a little smaller and charge a little less.
So warm and friendly!
Nice place, helpful staff but the food was very decent, I would have preferred more choices of hot dishes instead of just the udon which once tasted we expected a savoury dish but it was with sweet and sour sauce, the price slightly higher than normal, I expected more
Probably the worst japanese I've ever eaten. The rice is cold, tastes like leftover from yesterday. Tuna's quality is terrible, full of tendons. All the cutlery and cups are plastic. Any kind of tempura or "crunchy" are jokes, not only are they not fried in the restaurant, but taste bland and old. The sushi tastes like it's assembled by some random guy on the street, who dumpster dived the ingredients. Honestly, sushi from carrefour tastes better! Non andare! Fa veramente schifo, vi vergonate di essere chiamata un ristorante giaponese! Il riso e' praticamente congelato!
Super overpriced. Not a cosy environment. I can not recommend the food as a left as soon as I saw the prices. Answer to owners comment: How do you expect me to pay your insane prices to sit at a 25 euro table from IKEA with a plastic cup and chopsticks made for delivery purposes? If you could provide an environment that suited your prices it would benefit your business I think. I felt like I was at an indoor picnic?! If it was possible for me to give you 0 stars instead of 1, I would have.
Ate here fo lunch. Rolls are ok at 10-12€ for each roll, yakiudon 10€ and mixed seafood carpaccio 9-10€. Got a bout of vomiting and IBS two hours later. Perhaps its food poisoning or a case of traveler’s diarrhea. Never had this experience in any sushi or asian place in italy or in most asian countries. Be warned. If you want good sashimi go elsewhere. BTW, I have my first amendment right to free speech. If the business believes that only positive reviews are worth posting, they shouldn’t do business in the 21st century. Piss poor quality food and defensive reply to the review. Tsk. Customer service ZERO. FYI, i HAVE been to Japan. I have been to China, south Korea, thailand, USA, and 27 countries. Never had terrible experience in a restaurant and on google map reviews from a two-bit wannabe restaurant. Lol.
