We had a lovely evening here! Service was friendly and they were able to recommend which wines we would like - they were right! Our food was tasty and we were comfortable! Our first time here was for St Patrick days breakfast..Great atmosphere fabulous food. We returned a few days later for an evening meal..again fabulous food and lovely atmosphere..according to my husband the pies are to die for! He also commented on the toilets which he never does saying how clean and well fitted out they were.. The family who own and run the business are so warm and welcoming including their young son Josh...who is so friendly and informative..Will we be back..you bet we will...with thanks Carol and Martin xxx

Delighted to have come across this lovely family run bar/restaurant during our stay in Iznajar. Popped in for a drink but the menu looked so good, we ended up sharing some starters which were absolutely delicious. Really friendly staff and a delightful young waiter (Josh) - would highly recommend.

Na een lange dag wandelen hadden wij zin in lekkere tapas. Na meerdere dichte keukens werden wij met open armen verwelkomd bij Mamita’s. Geen Spaanse tapas, maar voor deze keer een heerlijke Pie en Burger. Zeer fijne bediening en een heel schappelijke prijs. Zeker aan te raden!

We discovered this little gem on the last day of our stay in Iznajar and what a treat. The food was delicious, I had the fajitas and my husband had one of their specialty pies, steak and stilton 😋😋😋Denise and her Son Josh introduced themselves on our arrival and made us feel very welcome, the service was great and when Martin the Chef had a break in the cooking, he came over for a chat. Lovely family, delicious food, excellent value for money and great service. Highly recommended.

I found this lovely family run restaurant to be a real breath if fresh air!...realistic and reasonable prices, including wine. The service was both friendly and efficient. The menu was spot on and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend without hesitation and I would be very happy to go back.

We first visited Mamitas on Saturday evening, what a great place. A great menu, so many options, and all cooked and presented so well, even British beer options. the highlight however had to be the family that own and run Mamitas. such a great welcome from Denise, great great from Josh, and we cannot compliment the cookery skills of Martin. We will certainly be back, keep up the good work, and wishing you all the very best in business.

I had the pleasure to dine here with friends on Saturday while visiting them in Iznájar. I was so happy that they suggested we meet for dinner at Mamita’s. The food was delicious (I had the chicken fajitas) 😋 the ambiance was great and super value for money too. Thanks to the chef and all the staff. I will see you on my next visit.

We stayed for one night in Iznajar recently as part of a road trip but unfortunately not many places were open (Monday). Fortunately Mamitas was open. The welcome was very friendly and the food was fabulous. We had a steak pie with red wine and a chicken, ham and leek pie. Both were delicious and served with great mashed potatoes. We don't eat often eat pies but they were the best we've ever had. Definitely no soggy bottom!! If we'd been there for another night we would have tried something else from the menu. All the meals we saw being served looked so good.Lovely place and would recommend for a great meal.

New owners seem to be making a good job of the english bar / restaurant. Located on the ground floor with good disabled access and parking adjacent. Offering a selection of meals and snacks which are varied regularly. A good Sunday lunch can be had beef or pork was on offer when I visited cauliflower cheese, mash, roast potatoes and selection of vegetables a very good dinner. They do offer a selection of deserts also as well as a good selection of drinks. If asked I'm sure they would cater to any dietary needs or preferences. Zamówiłam ziemniaczki z gulaszem i warzywami.Przepyszne jestem mega zadowolona mięsko rozpływało sie w ustach na deser miałam Tyramisu pierwszy raz jadłam takie przepyszne Tyramisu. Fajne jest że można wziasc połowe porcji nie trzeba całej.Meni jest dwujęzyczne Obsługa również mówi po angielsku. Naprawdę warto odwiedzić to miejsce głodni wpadajcie tutaj

Wow! What an amazing find. You have to visit this welcoming family run bar. Fabulous selection of homemade food which tastes great. Very reasonably priced starters mains, deserts and drinks in a truly relaxing place.

Everything about this establishment is why I came here to this countr. Service from the owners son is endearing and personal. Food is delicious and nothing is too much trouble. Facilities are clean and the attention to detail is beyond expectations. I cannot recommend more highly. Do not hesitate. Value, attention and heartfelt.

We visited Mamitas twice whilst on holiday in Iznajar last week. Food was great, beer was cold and the service was first class, big shout out to Josh who was brilliant, kids loved him, great balance of professionalism and banter! We enjoyed some lovely starters and the Boeuf Bourguignon was absolutely delicious. A wonderful little spot with great food and heart. We’ll definitely be back!

We always make sure we visit Mamitas when we are in Iznajar. It’s a small, friendly place with a big menu especially on a Sunday and a Monday. It’s essential to book because it is so popular and we don’t want to risk missing out. Every time we have been we have had delicious food and very attentive service.

Na alle goede reviews gelezen te hebben, zijn wij hier 2x gaan eten. waarom ? het eten was overheerlijk.. de bediening was lief, fijn en betrokken. Daarom de volgende dag, na een lange dag motorrijden, zijn we nog een keer gegaan. Ook nu zeer hartelijk ontvangen en de andere gerechten waren weer super. Fijne familie om bij te eten en de zoon heeft leuke humor.

Perfect! Restaurant owned by a family. They speak perfect english. The menu has limited food (around 12 in total) but it has enough starters and main courses. Everything we ordered was very delicious (the crab, the dried tomato, and fajitas).

Wow Wow Wow everything about this place is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a lovely family ran business with the most amazing food! There’s nothing like it around and I’d happily travel miles to eat here. They are so accommodating even for children and a vegetarian which is something you don’t find often. The food was absolutely delicious! we had a starter, main and dessert all of which were the best we’ve had in Spain. The service itself was fantastic and puts a lot of other places to shame. So if you’re reading this and wondering where to eat and have great service I’d absolutely say here! There’s also plenty of parking just around the corner. I’d book to guarantee a table as the word has definitely got around and is very busy!

Estupendo bar restaurante en Iznajar. La comida esta deliciosa, y las porciones son muy acertadas. Sin duda un estupendo lugar para comer, muy recomendable. La carta es de tapas, a buen precio, 3€ cada una, buena presentación y las que probamos estaban muy ricas, diferentes a lo habitual en Andalucía. Los dueños son ingleses, muy amables y sobretodo destacamos la atención del camarero, Joshua, hijo de los dueños, que nos atendió muy bien en todo momento, y nos aconsejó sobre las tapas, sí que aconsejo reservar mesa con antelación.

El servicio muy bueno. Muy buen ambiente. La comida está rica aunque la carta (mejor dicho el menú) es una mezcla de diferentes tipos de comida. La bebida extra es bastante cara.

Schönes Restaurant mit Innen- und Außenbereich, der Außenbereich liegt leider an der Straße, der Verkehr hält sich allerdings in Grenzen…..die Besitzerin und ihr Sohn sind freundlich und aufmerksam , das Essen war gut und auch preislich in Ordnung…..

Very slow service, with entrees for each person served 15 minutes apart. Food is British rather than Spanish. Kitchen ran out of cooking gas, and then apparently had electrical problems. Lasagna portion was small. Bread pudding was bland. Outdoor seating is on busy road with many diesel cars. Server was polite, and generally good though water was forgotten.

La comida no se como estará. Después de bajar desde arriba del pueblo, llego y el camarero me dice que no me sirve por que hay dos mesas grandes y el cocinero está agobiado. En fin poco más que añadir al parecer los domingos y lunes tienen menu difernete, si sabes que esos dias hay mas clientela hay que tenerlo previsto, habían bastantes mesas vacías todavía así que muy mala gestión.

Llevamos lunes una hora antes del cierre de cocinas, tienen cuatro mesas libres, dos dentro y dos fuera, pero nos dicen que no nos pueden atender porque están muy liados.... Basura de servicio y sin peor sabiendo que no había nada más abierto en el pueblo. Lamentable

Nefasto, el único sitio abierto en el pueblo y con tres mesas no tienen comida ni pueden servir, en mi vida me había pasado nada igual. Te arruina una preciosa noche, recomendación: ni pisarlo
