Recensioni di Panera Bread Johnson City
The food was great; however, being charged almost $40 for two cups of soup and half sandwiches seems a bit excessive. The store appears to be under staffed, lids were not stocked, tables were not cleaned and the restrooms were not clean.
Well run. It’s nice to see more mature staff run the place. It shows in the customer service big time. The staff just seem to actually care. Food is wonderful. A little on the pricey end for a QSR but in my opinion, the quality and especially the consistency is worth it. Totally in love with the squash soup and some of the best tuna salad I’ve had in a long time. Love the selection of ice teas available. Can be crowded at meal times. I recommend going at slightly off hours. Or 10:30 or after one.
This is the busiest Panera I've ever been to! But it's spacious and there was plenty of parking and seating for me when I arrived around 9 am. When I left around 12:30, it was starting to get really busy. But overall, great vibes, great service, and a great experience! I'll probably be back!
The food is so good! Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is cozy. It was packed, but it took no time at all to get our food.
I had the Strawberry 🍓 poppy salad it's seasonal that's my go to on these warm summer days!!
Excellent healthy food! Always reliable! People all kind. Love it here
I had never been to a Panera prior to about a month ago until I went to this location. I used it so much that I have ordered food from here at least 4 times within the past few weeks. The staff are always friendly. I have tried a few different sandwiches, soups, and the fruit yogurt parfait. The food has always been fresh and I have always been pleased with my food. I will continue to come back to this location.
My southwestern salad was very fresh and tasted amazing as always! My baguette was a little on the dry and crusty side but it happens sometimes.
I usually have it delivered. I love their sandwiches. If you haven't been there, you have to try the Green Goddess sandwich with the Fuji apple salad. Now I'm craving it. I am a member of their sip club , which would be great if you liked the drinks. I have only tried the charged drinks. I am not a fan. I wish they offered the iced coffees . They have something for everyone. I am looking forward to trying they're soups but I just can't stop ordering the Green Goddess. Even if you don't have one close to you I promise it's worth the drive or the extra delivery charges.
I typically don't eat when I go here but when I do eat the food is superb. I typically come here for meetings, Bible studies, or personal studies whether for school (past) or self development. Staff is always kind nice and positive. Sometimes they even give out goodies at the end of the night. Today they let me use a bowl and a spoon for my salad without even charging me a penny. Super sweet people.
Can't go wrong at Panera. Their soups and salads are my favorite.
Food came quick, fresh, hot and accurate. Dine is is always quiet
Panera Bread is always a great experience. Their soups are fantastic, and the fire side chili is my go-to. I try to limit carbs, but their bread is so good it’s hard to resist. The staff are always friendly, and the food quality and taste are consistently excellent. They’ve definitely earned my repeat business.
I love their soups in a bread bowl, sandwiches, salads and bakery items!! Pick 2 is a great deal. Everything fresh and tastes so good!!!
The food was great, the soup and sandwich were both amazing. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast and flawless. Perfect place to eat.
I hate that the staff makes me feel like I'm bothering them for EVERYTHING!! I'm sorry you have to take my order & God forbid, have to hand me a to go box! I wish they would wipe/clean the tables!!! The onion soup was hot & delicious & the turkey, apple & cheddar sandwich was fresh & tasty. Unfortunately, I only visit once or twice a year due to the staff.
I love it here. The food is great and the beverages are better! I love the lemonade and other juices, and the coffee is great too. The staff is lovely. I wish we had a Panera in Bristol; I’d probably be there every day.
Panera makes good food. Coffee is not good and was cold.
I think this was a post lunch visit so it wasn't very busy at all, but like Sunday after church, it's packed and hard to find a table sometimes. Service and food were good! UPDATE: (lowered to 4-stars) They've removed my favorites from the menu over the years and there's nothing I super crave there and it's really quite expensive for something you don't feel is super delicious. Coffee and bagels is about all I want from there now. (and not at this location as I'm in Kingsport)
Over all but the bathroom was like a gas station pretty bad grungy around the urinal
The service was quick when we arrived. There weren't many cars in the parking lot. The order taker knew what she was doing at the register when taking our orders, including using a promo code for a discount. Our first order was prepared before we finished placing our second. When we tried to find a table, the empty ones were still dirty from the last people who used it. We alerted someone at the counter and it was quickly cleaned for us. Shortly after we starter eating, another person came around to clean all of the empty tables. The food was delicious! We had the chicken bacon rancher sandwich and the strawberry poppy seed chicken salad. The sandwich was very flavorful with lots of chicken. The salad was crisp with a lot of fruit on top of the chicken and greens. The combination of flavors blended very well together. We liked it so much that we went back two days later for another salad!
Matthew took really good care of us during our recent visit there. Very friendly and informative too. Our food was pretty good too, however the dining area and women’s bathroom needed some serious attention. My husband and I love Panera, but this particular location needs some improvements.
The place was filthy and it was 4 pm so well past the lunch crowd and before the dinner crowd, meaning there should have been time to clean up. Our grilled cheese sandwich was not grilled, or even toasted much. There was much confusion with the person placing the order. And the cost is just ridiculous...over $60 for three small soups, two sandwiches, and three fountain drinks.
The new menu was a blow when I was told the main ingredients such as the turkey breast was the same when it was not now it’s processed deli meat! What happened to the no antibiotics? The portions are 30% smaller and the free baguette is half the size it use to be. Needless to say my husband & I are very disappointed in Panera’s decisions on their menu & less quality of ingredients. we can understand maybe slightly less portions but not their quality too.
I usually love Panera. Place needs a good cleaning. Trash everywhere. Sticky table. Dishes overflowing. Trash full. Staff not enthusiastic.
Warming morning breakfast, fresh bagels and the hot sandwiches were delicious. I was glad to get the food to go though as the trash cans were completely full and the diner didn’t seem to be cleaned. The containers that hold the drinks are absolutely disgusting with crumbs and dropped sauces in it. So don’t bother with a lid, I really think the manager needs to step up the cleaning parade of teammates making hourly rounds or something.
Probably the least clean Panera I have ever been to. Tables are constantly dirty. I literally have never found a clean table when visiting. Drink station is always wet and sticky. Carpets are dirty. This is not just a one visit thing. It's always like this.
They ruined the cheese pastry with the switch up.. the cinnamon rolls are a great upgrade but have entirely too much icing. They NEED to have some batches available plain w/out icing on them. IMO the pastries are overpriced anyway. You can’t even get the 99cent deal with pick 2 unless you purchase a drink. Great place and high quality food but could use faster cleaning of the tables.
They need to remove bread from the name. Every time I come here In the evening they are out of what I want. You would think management would figure out if they consistently sell out of a product they would start having more on hand… guess not
As with every Panera, I enjoy the atmosphere and love the food. Personally, I think it's a little pricey for what it is, but I also understand the price of these things are just going up. For this Panera in particular, my experience had a few bumps. Although the employees are kind, patient, and helpful, there were a few errors in our order. Also, I really, really hate the layout of this Panera because it's very difficult to see the menu and to queue for ordering. I love that they have outlets near the small tables though.(I kind of wish they had outlets outside too). It was also exceptionally cold when we went which sort of detracted from the experience.
Usually a great experience but when it’s bad it’s really bad. A few terrible experiences have been had here. On occasion they have reached out to correct their mistakes but not always. I can name at least one super fantastic employee that is absolutely upstanding. She always smiles, acts professional and takes great care of her customers. Paying an average of $10 per meal you tend to have certain expectations. After several let downs without proper rectification it’s hard to justify going here more than once every month or two.
They are always out. When asked why they don't make more. They said they only get so much dough. Told me to order earlier online. I was there before 8am and they were out. It's one thing if it was just a one time thing. But it's Everytime I come to this location. Some ladies are super kind. The lady today was not.
A whole spicy Italian and an unsweetened tea cost over $17!!!! The men's bathroom wasn't very clean, the sink was dirty and the faucet would not turn off as the handle was very loose. I noticed while I was sitting and eating the matt that should be in the entrance area was rolled up and in the dining area and that one if the lights was hanging by its wire in the entrance as well. Being this is the only Panera in Johnson City it needs to be updated; especially the bathroom
I see we are not the only ones disappointed in our visit here last week. The place was not particularly busy but lacked cleanliness - we were even warned in the parking lot as we got out of our car by another couple leaving that we might want to reconsider. Tomato soup had no croutons. They hadn't the right bread for the BBQ chicken sandwich (how can they run out of bread just as dinner hour peaks?) Let's say we won't be hurrying back to this location!
I went to lunch today with my mother because we like their turkey/avocado sandwich. We both got half a sandwich and I got a bowl of soup. The food is good. A little pricey, but I knew that going in. I understand with COVID they are preparing all their food to go, even if you are choosing to eat in. The problem is that since they aren't serving anything, NO ONE attends to the dining room. Both times lately I have been, we have had to clean our own table even though it was not that busy and there were plenty to choose from. All of them were dirty. The floors are filthy with food and trash everywhere. No napkins in the dispensers and the drink station was messy. I understand you want to protect your employees from exposure to customers, but what about our exposure to others. A little wiping and disinfecting of tables between uses would be appreciated. Even though I love the food and staff, I'm not sure I can take the condition of the dining room and stations anymore.
I really think Panera has gone down in quality, and it’s not necessarily limited to the local one in Johnson City. However, our meals tonight from our local restaurant were sloppy, missing ingredients, and just not worth the prices we paid. When ordering our meals online, the restaurant was out of core Ingredients like white bread for my child’s grilled cheese sandwich, baguettes, and several other cheeses for the Kickin grilled cheese sandwich. We ended up ordering two of the Garden Caprese Sandwiches. It had 2 of the smallest & thinnest slices of tomato and maybe a few tiny shredded pieces of wilted lettuce with mayonnaise. No cheese at all, and the Bread was burned. Ingredients were not fresh. So basically we got a bread and mayonnaise sandwich. The grilled cheese we purchased for our kiddo was soggy and most of the cheese was on the wrapper. They did enjoy their tomato soup. When you pay almost $50 for a meal, it’s just disappointing when half the food is not quality or just outright missing.
I’m giving a 3 star because my other experiences here haven’t been bad, otherwise this would have been a one star. I am pretty frustrated with the service I received this morning. I normally place curbside orders as I pick up breakfast on my way to work or I’ll pick something up on my lunch break. This morning I placed a pretty small mobile order and it said it’d be ready by 7:15 AM. I arrived around 7:10 and waited 15 minutes with nobody coming out, so I had to go inside to pick up my order. Whatever not a huge deal. Waited in line and when I got to the counter I let the cashier know I was just picking up my order, I wasn’t rude about it and that’s all I said verbatim “I’m just picking up my curbside order”. She immediately got hateful and defensive with me making comments on how she tried to bring the order out but I wasn’t there. Yeah… that’s bs because while I was in line waiting I literally watched the other employees making my food and put it on the counter behind her… I didn’t mention it or anything because I was going to be late for work plus if you want to lie about it that’s on you. I understand things are frustrating in the food industry and that it’s not the best job, but do not take it out on customers especially when they’re not being rude or combative??? This is becoming an issue no matter where I go and it’s getting tiring. Something needs to change and people need to learn to be nicer to each other. It’s not my fault you hate your job. Nobody is forcing you to be there.
Service is a hit or miss. Mostly miss because you get ignored sometimes since there isn't someone designated to stay at the register and they just look at you and you wait for them and no communication in front. The espresso machine has been down too and running out of product like strawberries and basil and syrup on a few occasions one thing or another not available. I definitely recommend management to talk to cashiers and front of house and supply management. I've been here a few times but only once or twice did I get great service and they had what I wanted available. Just wanted to post they need help if consistency is a problem at this location.
Have not been to Panera Bread for a couple of years. Honestly the variety of bagels and breakfast pastries has declined drastically.....a bit disappointing. The staff was friendly and helpful. My croissant breakfast sandwich was so so.... dissatisfied with the average quality of the croissant. There is definitely room for improvement.
Not too impressed tables were dirty. The staff was nice food was OK but way expensive $42 for 2 half sandwiches bowl of soup and a salad ya no. Won't be back anytime soon.
Food: we both ordered dry salads. Clearly marked on receipt. Had to wait as they were remade. Lettuces (romaine) had that 'been kept too cold' edges. Mushy or burned. Mostly crunchy. The chicken was shaved pieces. Nice. But quite a bit more grizzle stuff than typical. Tomatoes: why bother if they are hard and tasteless. Cilantro was withered also. Bread piece-- excellent as always. Brought home bagels-- ate one, excellent as always. The floors are gross filthy (it was around 12:46pm). The walls of booth same. Ceiling tiles stained and grease stained in kitchen area. Lights over table have a year long gathering of dust. Bathroom: ew Service: nice enough people doing their best. But my take away: find another place to get lunch and only come here for breads/bagels anymore. And with the filth of the place I might want to just keep getting my bread from Publix, or Fresh Market.
9/10 times, I prefer this location over the Kingsport one. I was a little annoyed at my experience yesterday. The salad I got was fantastic but the baguette was burnt. It took me a while to get acknowledged but I told the employee the baguette was burnt. She acted like it was no big deal. She showed me another and was like “they’re all gonna be like that, they came off the same loaf”. I would have waited for a different one, but wasn’t given the option. This thing tasted like a rock, so I just threw it away. Panera is pricey so I’m sorry to expect good food. Probably won’t go out of my way to return to this location anymore.
Just wasn't impressed with it at all. My wife wanted to go there so I agreed to go. I had a 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich and some Mac and cheese in a bowl. I just ate it and it definitely wasn't something I would purchase again. The Mac and cheese wasn't even 1/2 a bowl and there was a piece of cold bread with it too. But the best thing was the sweet ice tea was exceptionally good I drank 3 glasses of it. I hope your meal is better than mine but if you go there get the sweet tea with your meal it is really good.
Last night I ate at your establishment and the cashier was new but very friendly!! Unfortunately I believe she rang me in for the wrong thing but hey! No big deal, mistakes happen. However unfortunately the girl with the purple hair was EXTREMELY rude. I asked for a box and she offered me a piece of paper and I said I had macaroni she said she would give me a bowl and a piece of paper for my sandwich. I was literally looking at the boxes and asked if she would just give me one of them to which she rolled her eyes and handed me a small circle one. I am a server and it takes a lot for me to complain but her attitude was not acceptable and when you’re paying 40 dollars for two meals you should have better food and service.
Every table dirty! Had to go back to counter for food they forgot. Two coffee containers completely out of coffee. Employee just standing there, wasn't sure if he was ready to take order or what.
I'm so sad. Another restaurant that I love going downhill. Probably due to the twits they hire. The one that took my order today did more grunting than talking when I asked a question about what was on a sandwich. And whoever made my sandwich either has never had a sandwich or for some strange reason thinks it is desirable to have have ALL the meat in the center of the sandwich and no meat outside of the 1 inch diameter that it was placed in....floor was filthy and coffee was watered down. I've noticed that several of their recent reviews are also headed in the same direction. Hopefully they turn this around. Ugh, I should have taken a photo.
Very tasteless salad, very bland croutons, French onion soup was lukewarm and had a very strange bitter flavor. The environment was so loud we could barely carry on a conversation. Very disappointing
I have ordered delivery about ten times , and four times I have had issues with the order being incomplete. Each time had to spend ten to fifteen minutes with customer service :[ A refund to your card will take about 30 DAYS, but they offered me handsome credits-However, when the orders keep being incorrect and incomplete, it is not worth it. How hard is it to get a 3 or 4 item order correct??!!
Employees are inconvenienced to deal with a customer. Food is pretty good but good luck trying to find a clean spot in the restraunt to eat the past 6 times we have eaten here every table was dirty. Poor management is the problem here.
I have been to this location 4 times in the last month and it has been filthy every time. The napkins in the dispenser were wet, food and paper all over the floor, sticky countertops, food and grime on the seats/walls/lighting. The staff are friendly and the food is good but it’s obvious no one cares about cleanliness. UPDATE (1 year later): Still filthy
First they were late opening by seven minutes, two people got back in vehicles and left. I ordered a coffee and a bagel. The server who was very polite asked of I wanted my bagel toasted and I said No Thank You. (I never get toasted because they always burn it. Sure enough when I get to work the bagel is toasted, hard and burned. I know Panera can do better, been a long time customer.
Absolutely filthy inside. There were very few custo.ers at 3pm and plenty of very friendly workers, but I guess since you bus your own tables, they just forget to wipe the tables and sweep the floors. Too expensive, too dirty. We're not going back except to puck up bagels to go from now on. Spent over $45 for two for lunch without tip. Updated 9-7-24 Still filthy -- maybe even worse than ever. 3:43 pm, only a few customers inside yet we still had to pick the least dirty table to sit down. The bus stations are disgusting and there's even litter on the floor of the lobby. How does no one working here even see it? How does this management keep their job? Important to sat the staff is super-nice, just obviously not well-trained to do the whole job.
I have been to Panera Bread restaurants all over the US, as I travel frequently for work. This is by far the nastiest, most cluttered, and worst customer service I’ve experienced. The staff never greeted me, continued conversations with each other as if I wasn’t standing there waiting to place my order, and discussed highly unprofessional subject matter for the environment. I requested that they add avocado to my sandwich…they literally cut one in half and stuck the huge chunks in the middle of the sandwich…which had not been toasted so the bacon was cold and nasty. Do better Panera…it’s not as if your food is cheap and customers expect more when going to your restaurant chains. Very poor management and training of their employees who were also playing with their hair while talking to the girl preparing my sandwich. I guess that explains why no one cared there was hair stuck to the fountain drink machine. Just gross! Couldn’t believe management let it deteriorate to this level. McDonald’s is cleaner.
Almost no tables were clean. Bathroom smelled horrible. All staff was unenthusiastic. Food didn't fill me up for $17. Music choice is abrasive and loud for a coffee/diner, should be quieter and a more comfy genre.
I came into this Panera store and ordered a French Dipper for my sick gf. When I got home 15 minutes later we found no sandwich in the bag. I called the store and was told my sandwich was still there and did I want to come get it. I said no and was assured that I would be refunded. I called back 4 hours later when no refund had been issued. I was told by the manager that I would have to return to the store to be either refunded or given the sandwich. I said that wasn’t acceptable but they said that was the only thing they could do. For a big company there should be a more customer friendly resolution. I guess they have my money til I can make a return trip to this store across town for a refund. Lost my business.
This restaurant is disgusting. You all should either hire a professional cleaning service or whip your staff into shape. The dining area had food splatters and crumbs everywhere.
Steak on my sandwich was almost raw. Huge chunk of plastic in my broccoli cheese soup. The employee I spoke with offered another bowl of plastic soup but I had lost my appetite by that time. Will not be back to this location. 🤢
I have never been so disappointed with a meal. Food was awful place was filthy. No one in there went for a late lunch. I cleaned the table myself. Floor tables bathroom just nasty. Will not EVER go back. Gross. 🤢
Ordered online for curbside. Order never came, went inside had trouble getting assistance and finding the order. The manager was not happy and it showed.
Every time we come here it’s horrible. Usually it’s rock hard, ice cold bread with your cup of soup but today at 5pm on a Tuesday they were completely out of bread and gave us chips. When we ordered they didn’t even tell us they were out of bread. The name is Panera Bread and they don’t have bread at 5pm when they are open until 9pm… This is the worst Panera I’ve ever been to.
Ordered from the Johnson City TN Panera tonight. All orders were soups and bread bowls. Got home, missing a bread bowl and one of the soups had noodles added when the soup was clearly ordered. Front end person barely acknowledged me and had an annoyed tone to their voice. Got a side dish of Mac and cheese instead of the order. No croutons that was supposed to be in the onion soup. Never going here again. Spent $40 to feed my family but would have done better going to McDonald's.
Worst customer service ! Employees ignored me had to wait to purchase one item for 5 minutes and then additional time because employees were having personal conversations vs attending to guests
I’ve always enjoyed this Panera but recent visits have not been good. The taste of the food isn’t the problem, it’s the filth. The drink station is so nasty and the floors throughout are so dirty & sticky it’s obvious there’s been no attention to detailed cleaning in quite some time. That type of environment can quickly make one lose her appetite. I hope someone quickly takes some interest in this restaurant or it won’t be around long, unfortunately.
Ordered a chipotle avo melt sandwich, received undercooked chicken and had a heavy raw chicken smell. Was told by manager that they get their chicken presmoked.
What a shame I'll never eat here ever again. I used to love Panera. Tonight I ordered a $99 delivery order through Panera's app (big mistake , don't order direct from them, they're too lazy to actually have a delivery service, they just use doordash. Do yourself a favor and order through DOORDASH, ot panera.) when I called them to let them know one whole sandwich was missing - the lady told me her manager said it wasn't his problem. To take it up with doordash. Funny, because I order delivery from door dash 3 nights a week sometimes more. I can count on one hand the number of times anything has EVER been missing, or wrong, and guess what? Doordash fixes it in a literal INSTANT without even having to call them. Right on the app. Bam. Panera couldn't even be bothered to speak to me, to give me ANY customer service at all? Just "it's not their problem"? Unacceptable. I would say I'll miss their food, but really I won't. They're not worth the money anymore anyway.
Stopped here for lunch on 7/15/24 and left disappointed. For whatever stupid reason they don’t have chicken salad anymore. That was the only thing I ever ordered here. So I ended up getting a buffalo chicken “melt” and southwest chicken salad. My sandwich contained no visible cheese that I could see and the chicken had huge clumps of fat in it. It was not good. The amount of salad dressing I was given was a joke, those soufflé cups barely hold a teaspoon. I had to ask for the extra dressing I ordered and the girl at the food counter with the mask on was rude. Tables and drink station were dirty. Only good thing I can say about this visit is that the little old lady who rang up my order was sweet. Other than that, I can think of a lot better lunches I could have had for $18.
Food is decent, but overpriced. I hadn't been there in a while, and what really surprised me was how dirty the restaurant was. The bathroom was nasty,it needs refurbishing urgently. The microwave was dirty, the half and half dispenser was empty, and there is a general look of the restaurants cleanliness being neglected. Very disappointed.
Absolutely horrible service . Ordered thru uber eats and paid $58.00 . Ordered a macaroni and cheese bread bowl for $13.49. Received a small bowl of macaroni and cheese . Called store and the manager was very rude and unprofessional. She stated I got what I ordered and to take it up with uber eats . When I ask if I can at least get a bread bowl she states NO that I got what I ordered and began to raise her voice and then hung up on me . I contacted corporate concerning this matter and it wasn’t until I got off the phone with corporate and went to eat my sandwich and it was the wrong sandwich . The worse service I’ve ever received and I will never order from there again . The manager doesn’t need to be in a management position. I really hope that it gets resolved.
I would not recommend ordering for large groups from them. Staff was rude to our Uber Eats driver. He asked for silverware, cups, and ice for the gallons of tea we order (for 8 ppl). Group size soups with no bowls. Salads with no silverware. They told him no even when he offered to pay. She said "those items were not on the catering order". They do not give you an option when ordering. They don't even let you customize any items or leave any notes. The only notes I could leave were for the driver. It's ridiculous. Why offer food for groups if you cannot provide the necessary items for the people to eat these foods. We won't be ordering from there anymore. We do about 34-38 lunches a month for medical offices so it's their loss. I'm currently ordering from McAlisters.
We arrived about 7:15pm (9:00pm closing time) and placed our order for two soups and two salads. The cashier asked if this was dine in or carry out. I said dine in. When our order came up, it was packaged for carry out. The chicken noodle soup was nothing but broth. No chicken and very few noodles. Salad had very little on it other than the greens. The pecan braid felt and tasted like it was made yesterday. It was dry and somewhat hard. The dining room was not very clean. The young lady cleaning the tables wiped the tables with the same cleaning cloth she had used on the seats. Dinner for two $55 and change. I expect better for that kind of money. I will probably not be back to the Peoples Street, Johnson City, TN location. I was very disappointed. This location has gone downhill. I used to like Panera.
I’m rewriting this review because my original one was deleted. My wife and I use to love to eat at Panera, especially during Fall and Winter; however, our last three visits were our last. The food quality keeps getting worse, the facility is extremely dirty, NASTY may be a better description., I can’t imagine what goes on in the kitchen. This restaurant needs to be inspected by the Health Department on a regular basis and shame on the owner.
The girl working the pick-up food counter was rude and unhelpful. I placed my order on the app along with my drink order, and I specifically wrote in the instructions "Please include drink cup," since the Panera here is notoriously bad for never including a drink with a mobile order. My cup was not included with my food order, so I asked if she could give me the cup, and she says "you have to go over there and get it," pointing to the line of a dozen people or more waiting to place their order. I am holding my food order of a hot cup of soup and expected to wait in line behind all those people IN ORDER TO GET MY DRINK, and the irony is I use the app to avoid the long lines. I have placed mobile orders at many other Panera locations while traveling and they always include my drink, but for some reason the Johnson City location NEVER includes a cup with your food order, and you have to take your hot food to the line to even pick up your drink. I am getting tired of the rudeness of these employees and their unwillingness to walk a few feet and get the cup in a matter of 4 seconds, but instead I'm forced to waste several minutes of my time in line. Please PLEASE address this with your staff, as I can't be the only one dealing with this issue with mobile orders.
Panera's food quality has greatly declined. They are ridiculously expensive and the customer service has gone from bad to worse. Went last week and the cashier was texting on her cellphone and was clearly bothered by having to wait on my friend and me. My friend and both agreed that we wished we had picked a different place for lunch and that with all the many other food options in town, that we will not go back to Panera.
I purchased a chicken Fuji apple salad and a Southwest salad to go. The Fuji salad did not have any chicken on it and the Southwest had 5 very small pieces. Also, the place is not very clean. The floor was nasty as was the drink and condiment area. The dirty plates/silverware station was filthy. I will never go there again.
Place is rather dirty. I inquired about lunch specials and it wasn't offered. I paid $10 for a half of a sandwich. Doubt I'll be back.
I called first to place a to go order. She couldn’t get the card number right. I went inside to order and asked her if she was the one who took my order, she said , yes. She then walked away. I ordered and they got it wrong .All the employees must be way underpaid for their horrible attitudes and unfriendliness.i told one girl “merry Christmas and I thought she was going to jump me. Hadn’t been here in years. I remember why.
I wouldn't recommend the chili, unless you want diarrhea. My family and I ate there on Friday. I had a sandwich with a bowl of chili. I feel like im preparing to have a colognoscopy again.
After wanting to leave a review about the filthy environment I see another review 7 months ago stating the same comments that we will leave. Most importantly, the filthy walls next to our table, splashed with dried food, a light fixture disgustingly dirty and hanging on by a thread. Food too expensive for this atmosphere. Not to mention greeted by less than enthusiastic counter person, not friendly. I suspect in short time there will be no restaurants folks. Young people unwilling to work, to clean, or be social. To the management, shame. And if this is what the inside looks like, what ith does the kitchen look like?
My 82 dad took me there today to eat after we drove an hour to go to Sams. We asked for a 1/2 hot ham and cheese and soup. Med drink. Both got the same thing. It was $38.00! The kid at reg rang it up as a turkey sandwich add ham. So there was an upcharge even though we didn't ask for turkey. I tried to ask about it. Of course the chic didn't even look at receipt. All she said is "normally that would expensive , but this is Panara its gonna be expensive" Thats was her response. Then my dad's bag of chips had 3 chips in it..3! So I go talk to the sweet girl again ( insert sarcasm) and I get and annoyed look with a side of eye roll. ( and thats why i decided to do this review) Panara hire someone over 20 and teach them to ring up items correctly. I realize Panara is expensive but almost 40 bucks for (2) 1/2 sandwiches and 2 small bowls of soup is insane! Not to mention the resterant was disgusting. I know you dont care about my dad's measly 40 bucks but I'll never step into another Panara again in my life.
This Panera is one of the dirtiest restaurants I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here several times thinking “maybe they’ve cleaned” but nope. The bathroom looks like one that you would find in a run down gas station in the middle of nowhere. Layers of dried soap on the wall, a dirty chipped mirror, and paper towels overfilling the trash can. I didn’t even dare go into a bathroom stall. The tables and walls are grimy, covered in dried food and who knows what else. The drink station is wet every time I’ve been. One time even the napkins were soaked. This time, there wasn’t even a napkin CONTAINER to clean up the puddles. It is also set up in a way that if you spill your drink it will probably get into the sweetener packets, which are located below the counter. The container they’re in already has a layer of sticky grime on it. The tea had chunks of what I hope was just sugar clumps but with this place I would not be surprised if it was something worse. The whole place is just disgusting and whoever owns it should be ashamed, the employees too.
I ordered a curbside order with a bowl of tomato soup. Instead I got a bowl of broccoli soup. Also, the order came out about 10 minutes late. I had already drove off before seeing it was the wrong soup. To add, the SWEET tea is completely unsweet. And they didn’t even give me a straw. Worst service ever, totally messed up and NOT worth the money Edit: just talked to a manger and getting a free soup Another edit: I was just going to eat the soup. I didn’t have time to turn around as I am late to an event. I looked down and there’s a big black hair in the soup. For reference, I have light blonde hair. I won’t even be returning for the free soup, this is disgusting.
