This is one of my favorite spots to get some work done. The space is comfortable, the staff is always welcoming, and the drink selection is impressive — especially the seasonal specials. I like that there are always new options to try. Great place to relax or focus for a bit.

Stopped here on my way out of Houston. Good coffee. The baristas were nice. Cool environment. They didn’t know what pupcups were, so they charged $2 each (I got three). Thought this was odd but overall great experience. Would recommend for coffee.

Lava Coffee is honestly one of my favorite places to be, and a huge part of that is because of Mia and Sam. They’re both so genuinely welcoming, and easy to talk to. Every time I walk in, they brighten my day without even trying. And they always remember people, which makes the whole experience feel personal. I seriously love coming here because of them. They always make my day, every single time.

This has easily become one of my favorite lunch break café. I have not been disappointed with the chai or matcha 10/10. I love the small trinkets you can biy to support small local artist and the pop events they host here! A great place to come to and get work done as well ❤️

This place is wonderful! The music is a good volume and the coffee is really good! I came and got a Toffee Moon, perfect for someone who likes their coffee sweet. It came in the cutest little mason jar. I also got a breakfast sandwich which was also really yummy. The bread was crispy and the sausage was flavorful. The interior is super cute and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Love this place!

Service was great! Kyler was an amazing barista; I asked for a recommendation for something moderately sweet and he gave me the perfect drink, quick and polite. The place itself is very cutesy and warm—I loved the homemade charms and keychains. Will definitely return!!

Vibe- Cute coffee shop in Katy, TX! There’s about 9 tables inside to sit at and an area against the front with high seats. They offer sandwiches and parties in addition to the coffee drinks! Customer service- great! Food/drinks- I got the seasonal matcha blossom (iced) and the hot toffee moon that is made with sea salt caramel toffee; they were both delicious! Parking- There’s a good amount of parking spots in the lot.

Katy rules when it comes to bubble tea shops and fresh fruit drinks but it’s always a little hard to find decent coffee. I returned to Lava after a year and they didn’t disappoint. The latte tasted even better than last time and I love their Pokémon themed decor, they know their audience. Good tables for working and a couch and clean bathrooms. I didn’t try their lavender specialities but I’m sure it will be a good one to try if you are into it. They have some good pastries and sandwiches. If you are looking for a coffee spot to pregame before you hit your favorite hotpot spot or noodle join, Lava is your spot! Highly recommended.

Tripped over this place after leaving a business in the same shopping center and I'm so happy to have stopped by! The baristas were so nice and knowledgeable on coffee! Love their creative selection of specialty and seasonal drinks! Highly recommended!

Cool place. Pure espresso and coffee is acceptable but very unimaginative and kind of bland. The flavored drinks are good but that's because it's sugar. Staff is nice and works promptly. It's clean. The atmosphere is really cool. You can get a free cup of coffee if you draw some artwork on a cup and they display them all. Some people are really good with cool art.

More like a 3.7 - great coffee and atmosphere but if you’re looking to study here be ready to have your sound suppression headphones because the music is for some reason cranked up high and it’s more of a louder atmosphere than a studying area. will recommend this if you’re looking for a coffee place to hang out with friends or coworkers.

I love going to Lava, been visiting and studying there for some time. Lately, the music has been unbearable. They have now this wicked theme going and the music is so loud, you can’t concentrate or have a conversation that doesn’t require raising your voice. It kills the vibe of a coffee shop to come and chill, or study or work, which is what makes these spots so good. So if you go now or at some point just have a backup plan, sometimes the music is a nice background noise but you may also find yourself with the complete opposite

The coffee shop looks amazing and has a nice environment. However, the two people working around 9:30 this morning weren’t friendly. I ordered a cappuccino with vanilla syrup—first it wasn’t sweet, then after asking for a little more, it became too sweet. When I mentioned it, they said I’d have to pay for a new one. Great place, but the customer service needs improvement.
