Great location close to the Hometown Suites. The food was very good and came in a timely fashion. Staff were attentive to my needs without me having to ask for assistance. The atmosphere was very good the few times I ate their during my stay. I would go back again.

Everything was great. Service was a tad slow but I’m always forgiving when it’s late at night. Food was all on par. Extremely convenient location by the hotel.

Good bar food, drink specials late (for.this area) and priced Right. The staff is what puts them over the top and is why I give them 5 stars and a solid rating. From the bartender, to servers all are cool , quick to your order/tab and both professional and efficient. Need a beer or munchies after 11 in la Quinta and want to sit down and be served this is one of a few choices.

I forgot my servers name, but she was on point. She was nice, fast, and got my order right. Half priced appetizers made for a low ticket total. My server never made me feel rushed to leave even tho I stayed and visited with a friend well after I had paid my bill.

Love this Applebees and their 9pm to closing extra Happy Hour. Enjoyed their 8-oz sirloin, seasoned fries with a tall Long Island Iced Tea. Fries are great...crispy outside, tender inside. Broccoli is cooked just right. Usually, the steak is spot on medium rare, but was a bit less tender tonight and one spot of grizzle, although the flavor was there. The music was hopping, and I couldn't help but tap my foot along as I chewed! Must have looked a sight, with head and shoe movin'. Bartender was great in welcoming guests, taking orders, and generally being everywhere at once. She did an excellent job even in this last hour of the night. Overall, great meal, and I'll be back.

Oooh where do I start. Firstly, the service is outstanding. 5 star all the way. The perfect margies really are perfect. I ordered their Classic Cheeseburger done well and it was amazing. Their crispy fries are well-seasoned (there's nothing worse than ill-seasoned or no-seasoned fries) and their ranch was fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable. They're LGBTQ+ friendly and one of the only openly advertised locations in La Quinta who are. I can't wait to go back.

My last experience at an Applebee's was over a year ago in Sparks Nevada and it was poor. So it's been a while and what a pleasant surprise, today it was perfect. I needed dinner and this restaurant was close to my location so I ordered online with my phone for Curbside to go. I arrived for my pick up and our server immediately cane out to greet me. The food came out right on time, it was hot, prepared perfectly and 100% complete. The manager even poked her head in and said and asked if I needed anything. Wow what a difference. We ordered the Burbone chicken and shrimp along with the Riblet platter. Thank you to both our server, manager and cooks.

I want to say I'm new to La Quinta bought home here and on Veterans Day I went to this AppleBees and they were beautiful people from the greeter/ Manager to the person who took me to my table. I ordered the lime Chicken as much as I had eaten at Applebees in Temecula I never have had it but I wi say it's amazingly good. I will come here weekly like I did in Temecula. Now my beautiful waitress not only did Talitha have a rocking hairstyle and cut she was professional and gave me a very warm welcome the entire staff did. I truly appreciate each of them for my free lime chicken for m Day a retired Army Senior Leader and Applebees thank you from the bottom of my heart will see you guys later this week and again thanks so so much Talitha for your kind heart you touched my heart with joy joy and happiness and your caring about my twenty years of service I truly truly appreciate that God bless you and keep shining with your exemplary service from Top Booker!

Wow! I haven’t been to Applebees in a minute due to a bad experience at the one in Palm Desert. I’m so glad we came here today. Party of four. The food and drinks were amazing . The waiter was quick and at one point my two year old son drop his raspberry tea drink and the manager ( Ana) saw and ran to help clean it up. I’m beyond impressed and will definitely be back to this specific Applebees beyond impressed with the food and service!! Ps not the best photo but just know the food was delicious 🤤

Great food. Sometimes it doesn't seem fresh though, like the pastas as ive had friends that work there and tell me it's microwaved. When introducing foods they will be top notch then they disappear for a while then return with less of the original portion.

I went to the Applebees on Date Palm. The food and service was good. But the front door windows had lots of finger prints on them. And not just from that day. There was lots of finger prints. I noticed the same thing the last time I was at the same restaurant. The phone wouldn't let me log into their restaurant for a review.

Appetizers were a lil cold but service was fantastic

The server was super nice. but they brought me an oriental chicken salad that was not good at all. The chicken was literally stale and frozen. They fixed it though and brought out a fresh one.

I was pleased the food was good. It was the last chance. I had two bad experiences with poor service and super salty riblets. This time the riblets were good and the chicken tenders almost right. Chicken tenders were just a little on the dry side, but good. The fries were excellent. Service was okay. The price was reasonable to me and the portions were generous. I took my father and he enjoyed the meal, so I was very pleased Applebee's didn't let me down. Between Applebee's and a burger joint this is clearly a better option.

The food was surprisingly good. We had a chicken quesadilla, some small boneless wings, a grilled chicken dinner and a child's cheese burger with fries . The place could have been cleaner. I had to ask another server for a bill since I was tired of waiting for our server to return.

Food took a long time to come out. They seemed to be short of staff and limited the amount of people in, even though plenty of tables were available. (Which is probably why food took so long) I went with the all you can eat option which disappointed due to the long delay in food delivery. Our waitress was excellent though and I don't blame her or the cook staff for that.

Food was a one would expect, but that bottomless mix n match deal is definitely worth the money. Choices of riblets, chicken, and shrimp with fries and slaw. Didn't do the shrimp but the fries and slaw were so good! As was the meat but the riblets were a little too saucy for me. Service was exceptional despite our many and confusing questions. Felt the 25%tip was well earned

Music is a bit loud. Server Natasha is very attentive. Good good but could be better with more options and portion sizes.

It's a nice casual dining restaurant with a full bar. It offers outdoor seating should you should you want that. It offers a number of different fish every day grilled or breaded. Many other fish preparations available. My catfish fillet was a little on the stingy side, but very good. A 2 Man Band started playing shortly before we left and they were very good. I would certainly recommend this place for fish lovers.

The service was great. We were there on a Sunday and the place was pretty busy with the football games. Despite this, the service was very fast and the food was delicious.

It was good visit, the only thing I like the most was the desert molten lava cake!

We love Applebee's bar and grill it's a great place to go. It's fast, easy, they have great bargains on drinks and a wide variety of meals to choose from!

It was the usual Applebee's experience, nothing spectacular. The food was really hot when they brought it out, so that was a plus. Overall, the food was good, and the service was decent. I would recommend going for happy hour for half off of the appetizers.

Don't get the all you can eat wings unless you want a messed up stomach for 3 days. We waited 10 minutes and had to ask for help so someone can take our order.

I ordered 2 classic cheeseburgers and a bacon cheeseburger and it seemed like the quality was not worth the price. Also ordered French onion soup but was mostly cheese then onion. Burgers tasted great but was cold when it arrived to my door. I think ill stick to the bar and steaks.

It took a long time to serve us although not busy. They're not very attentive to customers. We are not familiar with their menu but it took a while for them to come back to us to get our orders. Quite disppointed!

Ordered two salads - Oriental Crispy Chicken was perfect with two containers of dressing. Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad had no dressing or cheese on it whatsoever. The blackening spices were not tasty but bland, but if there had been dressing on the Caesar it may have provided the taste contrast to make blackening spices adequate. Why was the dressing not put on the Caesar salad or provided in containers? No Parmesan cheese? Complete waste of the salad as I had no Caesar dressing at home. Also $40 for two salads is bordering on insanity & take-out salads were half the size of inside dining. Woman bringing salads to car had excellent customer service skills. At least my sis enjoyed her Oriental Salad.

Applebee's is the definition of mediocrity. It's 7pm on a Sunday night and employees are vacuuming floors and doing end of the shift stuff right in front of Diners who just sat down or are in the middle of meals. I had to go to the bar and grab my own drink after watching it languish for 10 minutes. My chicken sandwich was delicious but hard to excuse "premium cocktails" that had little or no alcohol in them. Places like Applebee's and Red Robin have a formula to make money that I don't appreciate

Its ok can be better. Employees are nice, but in a rush when u order. Margaritas are watered down, bartenders may need more training to fix alcohol properly, chicken wings needs cooking longer the skin was rubbery and too much sauce. Utensils need cleaning more, a lot of dried water spots on the forks. Plates were placed behind us while eating , and exposed to germs while customers are walking by. I think a good health inspection is definitely needed to make sure things are handled properly to keep customers safe. This location needs just a few fixes, otherwise still a good place to eat.

Decent food, small portions. Waitress was kinda moody on Saturday afternoon for some reason, but she did a great job at paying attention to drink refills. Friend ordered a medium rare steak, steak came well done.

Came here a few times while we stayed at Homewood Suites. Staff were nice , except for the bartender who was always moody when we came in. Food is ordinary , nothing special but we did enjoy the nachos and mozzarella sticks. Drinks weren’t the best , watered down with lots of ice . Very odd they don’t have a machine to pay with the credit card . Server Jose said he takes it in back to put through . Did not feel comfortable doing that at all, I suggest this restaurant invest in purchasing the machines . It’s 2023 not 2014. All places have the wireless machines .

Food was good except for my French onion soup, which was missing onions. Meal was very expensive and we only had fish & chips and a tex mex shrimp bowl with 2 drinks from the bar, which was $56.00. This was the noisiest restaurant we have been in. They need separation walls of wood framed plastic between tables and a wall between the bar and tables where you eat. Music was loud and not relaxing. Waitress was helpful.

Pretty much was ignored. Took forever to take our orders, and then once we got our food, rarely did the server come and check on us unless we waived her down. The restaurant was not crowded either.

I went to eat with my family and ordered some drinks which I wanted with tequila and they brought it without tequila. I asked for a cake or something because my daughter had a birthday and it took more than 40 minutes. I asked if they could come to He said they were short on employees and when I left they were just joking around there sorry But the service is bad

Applebee's is, well, Applebee's. They are great for what they are: A chain dining experience with standard staples for dinner. The bar is there. They never have specialty beer. The menu provided sustenance, so you will be satisfied. My vet buddy and I visited tonight. Applebee's respects vets and service members. Thank you for that. 🇺🇸

Always a favorite place to eat previously but last night the food was terrible. Chips for spinach artichoke dip tasted burnt and Cajun chicken/shrimp tasted overcooked. Mentioned chips to server without any response until another customer said something then he brought chips that weren’t burnt but tasted stale. What’s up?

Ordered the all you can eat shrimp and chicken strips. Cocktail sauce did not taste right. I asked for a replacement. Server said it would come from the same batch. I ordered the classic BBQ sauce for the chicken strips. Server brought me one hot honey and one ranch. The hot honey was too spicy for me to eat. Not impressed.

Our experience was negatively influenced by inadequate staffing at the start. There was one young lady who was hosting and cleaning/setting the tables and just 1 gal who was both tending bar and waitressing. we elected to sit in their patio which was empty. Our meals -- once they arrived were surprisingly good. Another waitress must have started her shift so we were nicely attended to at that point. They had a new special -- sausage and chicken served over pasta in a cream sauce which was really good as well as plentiful. That saved the day along with refills of tasty peach iced tea. For daytime the interior is rather dark ,so best to opt for the patio.

The service here can be a swing and a miss sometimes. For the most part, the service is good but sometimes it takes a while to get a refill. The establishment is pretty clean and has a great happy hour menu if you just want to hang out or watch a game as you munch on some appetizers. Great Happy Hour, every day 3pm-6pm and 9pm-Closing.

Very poor customer service I really felt discriminated against, I rocked my MMIW red paint and was treated very poorly ignored well I tried to get service for the simplest things at the bar. These people know nothing about customer service period very disappointed.

Waiter was forgetful and apologetic for everything not only at my table but the surrounding tables around me. I had the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp potatoes and shrimp were overcooked potatoes were charred and burnt. Asked for water several times waiter ignored us and forgot period manager had to help. Overall service was poor.

Visited there mid day with my sister. We were quite tired after shopping and just wanted a quiet place to sit, eat and talk at. The restaurant was very busy and we sat ourselves. We were hard pressed to get service. Although the decor was what we consider to be traditional throughout the chain, the sound seemed to bounce throughout the room. Televisions competed with absurdly loud music and a plethora of very noisy children running around the restaurant. No small wonder the wait staff were so distracted. We were preparing to leave when we were approached by wait staff. We had decided to forego coctails as the atmosphere wasn't really conducive to a lingering luncheon, but opted for a soda with lime. Our drinks came 10 minutes later without the limes. Back she went and returned with 2 limes on a napkin and left before we could order. 20 minutes later we flagged down service and ordered 2 cups of french onion soup as a quick escape meal 20 minutes later we received our order. Soup was substandard. 20 minutes later we flagged down service to get our check. We discovered we were charged for 2 bowls instead of cups. Since we were already outside and loathe to return to the chaos.

Although curbside service was prompt and courteous the food was poor POOR quality. The steaks were tough and full of gristle and the broccoli overdone and borderline mushy. The reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that the food was at least flavorful BUT the steak overall inedible and the chicken dry. Unfortunately this meal was for my parents 70th anniversary dinner. They both are in assisted living and we thought we'd do a take out dinner that might be special. We ordered a week ago and the quality was poor; we gave it another try hoping it was an anomaly. It wasn't. We will no longer order from Applebee's.

I feel so bad, this used to be our favorite restaurant, their food and menu were incredible , today we went back and it was horrible, I had the Fiesta lemon chicken, it was so lemony and acidic that could not be eaten , with melted cheese on top that taste like plastic, the rice that came with it it was so dry and no flavor and over cook, my wife had the cheeseburger very grease and the fries taste like old oil and super salty. This restaurant used to be full of people at all time, today there were barely any people in, it's so sad...

Worst service ever! We didn't even know who our server was because there were multiple people coming to our table. Not one of them let us get a full sentence out before they ran off and even the manager couldn't be bothered. There was one lady who rushed with customers but had no problem finding the time to talk with her friends for the near hour that we we're stuck in there. The only good thing: I ordered the whiskey bacon burger and it was brought out 10 minutes before my husband's food. On top of it getting cold during the wait, it was the most disgusting thing I have ever had before! After 20 minutes we finally managed to flag someone down and I was able to order something different without a problem. I felt like our whole family dinner time was ruined because none of the servers would let us fully speak before rushing off so we had to sit there and flag down someone else to get some ranch or ketchup or whatever. McDonald's has better service. Ugh.

Applebee's has always been our go to, when our family can not decide what to get. We were disappointed with their burgers, they were not cooked correctly and did not have great flavor, it tasted too much like grease. I figured, "hey its a busy day". We wanted to finish strong and ordered the Butter Pecan Blondie, what a let down. It was cold :(

The food was good, the service was pleasant, but our meal was ruined because we had to scream at each other because of how loud the music was, even though we asked twice to have it turned down just a little. But, because people paid to have their music played, they weren't going to turn it down. We were even told it was louder on the other side of the restaurant. We asked for a minor accommodation, not to change the music, we understood it was going to be what people chose. This isn't a night club, it's Applebees, a FAMILY restaurant. We use to come a couple times a month, but not any more. For the record, I don't leave many reviews, and most of what I try to do is praising a great restaurant.

My experience at this location never seems to fail with horrible service. Due to my stepmother loving this place we go atleast 1once a month. Our waitress rushed us to order, brought us our appetizer bone in hot wings (those were great). Not even 2 minutes later our meal arrives without clearing any plates so our table was full. We barely had elbow room to eat our entrée. Food quality is always great! The customer service and attentiveness needs improvement.

Very disappointing. Ordered ribs. To say they were dry would be generous. Peppered flip-flop was more accurate. I was with my elderly aunt, who is not the easiest to feed anyway. She wanted Applebee's for old time sake. Little did we know the food was left over from last time she was there. We won't be back.

The food was fair at best. However the staff was horrible. There was 7 waiters and 3 servers for 11 tables, way over staffed but yet no one cared. Had to ask to get order placed. Then no attention after.

Applebee’s has really gone downhill. We have eaten there for years and will NEVER go back after today. The quality of food is horrible, double crunch shrimp was so undercooked it was not edible, steak was so over cooked we may as well eaten a hockey puck and all the order wrong. After calling and having to drive back to pick up new orders it was just as bad. Their solution was to offer a free dessert, seriously. What I wanted was dinner! DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY . You’d be better off at McDonalds

The steak was loaded with fat. I make better at home, they use the worst cuts of meat. I complained to the manager and he agreed there was too much fat. Don't go there. My shifty steak and a few drinks cost me $59 PLUS TIP.

Horrendous service. The hostess was unpleasant and unprofessional. We were told a 30 minute wait in an empty restaurant & watched as they served a group of teenagers who appeared to be their friends first. After waiting, the hostess was snobby and patronizing. Tried talking to the manager who didn't care & as we walked away began making derogatory remarks to the other workers in a hushed tone. Didn't waste our time or money. Completely appalled by the service of this Applebee's.

I purchased a dinner to go at the Applebee’s in La Quinta Ca my order came to 38. And change when. I got it home the chicken was so dry and hard I couldn’t eat it the spinach dip was so salty so I called and talked to the Mgr who said they were sorry and would credit back my credit card I received partial credit and still waiting for the balance not sure why it all was not credited at the same time. This is very unprofessional and sure does not make you feel like you want to do business with this restaurant I you want a good meal don’t go to this place

Service was horrible, Fatima the manager was very unprofessional we walked in put our name on list waited over 40 minutes just to watch others walking In after us getting seated. Once we did get seated steak was cold and had a hair in my mashed pataotes… she came over as I told our server I wanted to complain and she was very rude and told me there was nothing she can do other then remake my plate. After waiting over an hour for this I wasn’t even hungry at this point if anything disappointed and disgusted will NEVER be back. Management needs an upgrade at this location. Indio Applebees is amazing always satisfied there.

I was there on Friday 19th May 2023 approximately 10:00pm so you know who you are. Never ever would I eat in this restaurant even if we’re free.

Ordered nascar chicken wings and they were not done. Pink in the middle.raw. We also got nachos without meat. The cheese looked like some kind of white sauce. We mentioned this and the server had attitude. We just paid for our glass of wine and left. Never coming back

I went to eat with my family and we had a big party took about 30 mins to get a seat we had to split in half since there wasn’t enough room for a big party. They took for ever to bring the food. Very very disappointed that other tables got better service than us my kids got endless apps and they only gave them 2 servings. We asked for ranch A1 sauce and they brought it when we where almost done with our food we all ate and my kids where still waiting on there next order of endless apps but the table next to us kept getting there food served fast. I don’t recommend this location at all.

While the food and atmosphere at this Applebee’s location are consistently great, I’m always disappointed by the service. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed that the staff here are incredibly unfriendly and unprofessional. They seem uninterested in their jobs and rarely make any effort to provide good customer service. It really takes away from what could otherwise be a nice dining experience. I hope the management addresses these staffing issues, because right now, I don’t feel welcomed or valued as a customer

My Partner, Me, 5 of our teenagers, 2 toddler's arrived at 8:30pm with a wait time of 10 min. After 15 minutes had past, we asked if we can be seated. And was given the response "I need to check if the server would take your party" mind you closing time is 12am. She insinuated they were understaffed and we would have to wait another 15 minutes. Even after waiting the 1st time. Many tables were vacant.Which was very confusing to us. This Resulted to Our Family Leaving n Finding the nearest restaurant that would be able to serve our family.

Waiter Omari was very rushed and continued to cut us off while placing our order. Asked about the drink promotions and was told their was only the lemonade, after ordering I saw the $6 drink promotion on the menu. I didn't even bother to order a drink. The chicken parmesan Alfredo was awful. The noodles tasted like they were cooked aldente and then left sitting in water. Really mushy and starchy and the sauce had no flavor (another customer complained about theirs as well)( Knorr bagged alfredo has better texture and flavor). The bourbon chicken and shrimp was extremely greasy and had about half an onion on the skillet. And when delivered the server came rushing over and nearly dumped it in my partners lap. We will not be returning to this location. Applebees quickly responded to this review and has been in contact with me so they can address the issues, which is greatly appreciated.

Was denied a seat away from the bar because it’s “close to closing time” it’s 9 pm and they close at midnight. Management provided the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Waited around with my kids for a plain no. Gladly took my business elsewhere.
