I visited Yamasan last month and it was amazing. The all you can eat sushi option with the hibachi grill and skewers were all delicious, fresh and made to order. I would definitely come back again. I would love to find time to catch their happy hour, too. I had a chance to meet and talk to the owners, Owen and Ivy. They are friendly and welcoming. Owen is the head chef and he did an amazing job with the menu. Bravo ⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏼
What a Happy Hour! BOGO Rolls Shrimp Temp was amazing! Spicy Tuna and Salmon were Fresh! Crazy Crunch was cooked and yumm
After running around, shopping and trying to decide on what to have for dinner, we made a stop at Yamasan. After being seated, we kept looking through the menu, trying to figure out what to get. While the all you can eat ($65) was a heck of an offer, it was simply too much food. I went with the volcano ($19) and the California one ($14). The volcano had raw salmon and was topped with vanilla and pieces of fried scallops, it was coated in a spicy sauce which affected my best friend more but mine didn't have as much sauce. The California shrimp roll was okay but she got the unforgettable and it was tastier. The sparkling yuzu sake was absolutely lovely with a slight citrus flavor and went down easy. Our server was quick with getting our drinks and plates going for us and giving us enough time to catch up.
This has to be one of my top favorite sushi spots! We had 5 different rolls and the presentation was amazing, unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of those because the kids and I dove in so quickly. My husband got the Quartet, he said it was phenomenal and luckily got a photo of that. My youngest also did the smaller order of the teriyaki chicken habachi(which was still a large serving) and 3 of the kids picked off of her plate saying how good it was. The owner came to check on us to make sure everything was going well and even recommend a delicious dessert wine. Can’t recommend this place enough.
We had an excellent dinner here. Every sushi roll we ordered was delicious. I especially liked the Vibrant Life and Dream of Dream rolls. They also have tempura fried ice cream for dessert, which is so much better than any other fried ice cream. Our server was friendly, seating was comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxed. My son kept thanking me for picking this restaurant, and I'm sure we will be back.
At first this was just our go to sushi spot, but after we started ordering the omakase and bento boxes, there was no going back! Last time we had the A5 Wagyu. Delicious. This time we did the kaiseki menu - their “omakase quartet” - wowie, such a good meal! It’s a new addition and we had to go for it. The black miso cod was amazing as a choice.
This may be one of the most underrated restaurants in all of Orlando. Such a hidden gem. Everything is fresh and chef is great. Check it out.
Was craving hibachi and this place did not disappoint! The portions are huge, more than enough for two people. Couldn't finish it, but we had a great time trying. Will definitely be back!
Any time you go to Orlando, this should be your first stop to eat for dinner! The sushi is to die for, they will go above and beyond in service, and the one of the owners, Owen, is a delight to talk to. This will always be one of the best restaurants to eat in Orlando.
The sushi was delicious and they variety was fantastic. I didn't realize there was an all you can eat (made to order) menu and it didn't disappoint. The service was fantastic! They found out it was our anniversary and were kind enough to offer a dessert as well.
Delicious sushi in a quiet and serene atmosphere. What's not to love? Lunch specials were well priced (I got the three roll special); dinner was a bit expensive. Everything at our table looked excellent.
I highly recommend this place. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding. I ordered sashimi, but they didn't have one of the fish I wanted. Juan, David, and Alex were very kind, explaining all the options I had and letting me try different fish to make a decision. Our waiter was Harry, who was very friendly and patient with my mother, explaining everything to her. We had a great family moment. It was a special occasion for my son's graduation, and I am very grateful to everyone there for making that day wonderful and a great experience for us. Thank you!
We found Yamasan by accident, it was late, we'd be traveling all day and we just wanted some sushi. So we Googled it... Wow! We eat a lot of sushi, and this was right up there with some of the better places we've eaten. The Vibrant Life roll (Tempura salmon, avocado, seafood salad, mango, strawberry, bellini limoncello & kabayaki eel sauce) was phenomenal! Hawaiian, shrimp tempura and Tuna Tower rolls were all great, too, but we felt there was a bit too much rice on the Tuna Tower. Great vibe, good drink selection and a nice variety of specialty rolls. Definitely would check them out again the next time through Orlando!
I ordered miso two rolls, and mochi. Everything was delicious.
My visit to Yamasan was nothing but spectacular. I enjoyed my experience there so much that I went twice on the same day! The staff were very attentive and warm, making sure our party had everything we needed. I ordered the "Sushi Regular" combo; it had a nice variety of fish and helped me discover my love for escolar. Their house fried rice is very rich in flavor and had generous servings of steak within the dish; it is something that I will never in a million years be able to replicate. They also have a great selection of Japanese beers. I cannot wait to share this restaurant with my friends and family whenever I'm in Orlando.
Absolutely love this place! They DEFINITELY have the BEST sushi in Orlando. You can tell that everything is made fresh by the way it tastes, and the staff is always super friendly every time I visit. If you haven't tried this place yet, please do. The negative comments are misleading and do not match my experiences here at all.

We came about a year ago and had a good experience, so we thought to come again for date night. The menu has changed and was very long. We ordered a hibachi dinner and three sushi rolls. The miso soup was very salty but not bad. The rice noodles were all stuck together, should have been in a sauce to avoid that. Another reviewer stated that none of their sushi was good which we couldn't believe, but it was true! The rolls were way too stuffed and as someone with texture issues, it was to the point of almost making me sick. The spicy tuna was the texture of pudding. I'd consider going back for the hibachi. My husband stated the men's room was unsanitary and noted the three male sushi chefs. What else is unsanitary there?
this was a very unfortunate sushi experience. the menu is very very long and confusing, it’s very hard to find things. the happy hour menu didn’t fully match the rolls available, which was confusing. i ordered the miso soup, the dream a day roll, and some spicy tuna / regular salmon rolls. the tofu in the miso soup was fried, which doesn’t make sense because the soup made it super soggy and gross. the special roll i ordered was basically all kani, very unappetizing and honestly very hard to eat. there was barely any fish, it was honestly pretty ridiculous. the fish in general just tasted like nothing, it didn’t even feel like eating sushi. the waitress was very nice and let us order again. the hibachi was okay, but nothing special. i really don’t like leaving bad reviews like this, but i’ve genuinely never had an experience such as this one.
I have ordered from here several times and the hibachi has been good, but last night my order was completely inedible. It seemed like the kitchen was busy and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes over the estimated pickup time. All that to say, the chicken and steak in my hibachi meal were completely raw. One bite and I was instantly repulsed. The outside looked cooked but inside was pink and red. When I called I was immediately offered a new meal or a refund, for obvious reasons I took the refund. I appreciated the concern but I won't be able to eat here again. Consumer beware.
The uni was rotten. I’ve eaten a lot of uni and that tasted like death. The owner kept comping me on stuff and that was an immediate red flag. It all tasted like it had gone bad and he was trying to get his moneys worth. Will never return to this place. Stay away.
