Everything was still exceptional! Thoroughly enjoyed my Birthday Dinner this evening!

Lovely place and great food! Great service. The creme brulee was yummy with the espresso martini! Cotton candy was a fabulous touch!

First time dining here and I will go back 100x! Amazing drinks, food, service and atmosphere!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Loved the solarium seating with river views (and a little quieter than the main restaurant). My entre of veal michael was exceptional, dessert was delightful, and I left extremely satisfied.

Great energy and menu. The fresh mozzarella was amazing! Enjoyed sitting at the counter and watching the chefs cook. The wood oven pizza was delicious! Oysters were on point as well. Great place for a group, a date, or for a drink and appetizers. The cotton candy finish was a sweet little extra. Cannot wait to go back and try more menu items.

Literally my favorite restaurant in Acadiana! I’ve had several wonderful experiences here including mother’s days, birthdays, and date nights. Beautiful atmosphere, DELICIOUS food, and a great staff that actually takes Covid safety seriously. Favorite thing is the crabmeat cheesecake!!! To die for. I love Ruffino’s and will continue to come back!!

Loved the food and the service here! My husband and I had a date here for the first time this evening. It was so delicious! We got the ribeye and mashed potatoes. It was full of flavor and so tender! We will definitely be back!

Great spot. Professional servers and great spot on the bayou. Food is top notch and bartenders know their stuff. So overall a 5 star 🌟 place in our book.

The servers were friendly and available without hovering. The drink specials were fun and delicious. The food was delicious with excellent presentation. The atmosphere was great. Most importantly, the background music wasn't too loud, so we could actually hear our servers and have a conversation without yelling.

Everything was amazing. Definitely recommend the four cheese pizza if you are looking for something basic and delicious. The staff was great, and the restaurant was very well kept up.

We hosted our office Christmas party here and were so impressed with the service, professionalism and absolutely delicious food and drink! Brooklyn knocked it out of the park with her hosting, and our servers were on top of their game the entire night. Couldn't be happier with our choice of venue, and already can't wait for next year! We were attending a meeting, and the space was beautiful and cozy. The backdrop was an exterior patio, which would have been lovely to sit outside as well. I had a salad and lasagna as my entree. The portion size made me surprisingly happy. The taste was delicious, and it seemed as though the bolognese had been cooked a long time. For my preference, I do prefer the ground beef to be minced totally as this was not. The downside was that it came to the table warm at best. The leftovers hit the right spot!

Great atmosphere, diverse menu where everyone can find an ideal selection. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Visited for a bday celebration, and they did an great job welcoming us and making sure it was special.

Ruffino's is absolutely amazing! If you want to treat yourself to a nice meal without breaking your pocket, I suggest a visit to Ruffino's! I've had both dinner & brunch & both were fantastic!

One of our fav places to dine! Love the atmosphere and the food is always on point. The large complimentary cotton candy stick is like the icing on the cake for me.

Man, what a place. As someone who has worked in restaurants both fine dining and not for a long time, I have to say we had such an amazing time. Hospitality was on point, and service was really great. (Will say having two servers was very confusing) drinks selection and wine selections were great. Recommend the Spanish red. Had the fish and the lamb and was cooked perfectly. The only negative was the desert portions for the price. Very small

Probably the best steak I have ever had in my life.. little to no wait on food or drinks.. my bartender Skye did an amazing job with the drinks and made me very comfortable, I wish I could give her 10 stars.. My waitress Claire did an outstanding job checking in on us often and explaining every meal that we could possibly have. I would give her 10 stars also

My dad took my daughter and I here for my birthday. The young lady who got the drinks recommended a blueberry something. I could drink those all day! The waiter was very nice, and even asked my poor seven year old what she wanted for dinner, which I thought was awesome! The Brussel sprouts were fantastic and my shrimp Alfredo was also great. 5/5, it was a great treat! Oh and I really like the complimentary cotton candy!

We had the best experience here tonight, I will cherish forever. Mr. Gino, whom is in charge of the food went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing, the details were amazing, and the service was the best I’ve ever had. This place is a must stop!! The service was phenomenal, they were friendly, energetic and attentive! The bubble bath drink was recommended and it did not disappoint. The alfredo was scrumptious, this will be my stop every time I am in the area. And if you are celebrating anything, this place will be the cherry on the cake! The attention to detail and taste is impeccable! They even give you cotton candy at the end. Wish we had this place back home!

Dined in one evening for a business meeting! Service was swift, courteous, and friendly. atmosphere is cozy, music was somewhat loud, but overall tolerable. Food was great. I had charbroiled oysters, wedge salad (small), and bread pudding for dessert! They also give you the adorable complimentary cotton candy. Everything was delicious, prices were reasonable for what I ordered, would definitely visit again to try more menu items.

The food was scrumptious! The service was on point!! The waiter’s didn’t allow our glasses to go dry even though there were eight of us from Missouri to Indiana!! It was a great Birthday for my Louisiana,Daughter!!

Fine dining with a great view. What's not to like about this establishment. Great food, great service equals a great time. From the hostesses to the waiters everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The appetizers were served just as advertised. The entrées were prepared and seasoned perfectly. The dessert finished off a great evening. I highly recommend you visit this fine dining establishment if you are in Lafayette any time soon.

My wife and I went here for our 18th wedding anniversary. The staff is fantastic. We are planning our summer road trip and our waiter and the manager gave us some awesome travel tips and places to check out because they were from the area. The food was amazing. I had the ribeye; cooked perfectly. My wife had the fish, which was also delicious. They brought us a complimentary piece of cake for our anniversary and a cone of cotton candy, which was fun.

Staying in the area for work, and was looking for a good place to eat. We weren't dressed exactly business casual, but close enough. The reception was nice, seated us and asked if we were there for any special occasion... Nope, just trying y'all out. Greeted by Bronson for drinks, we are easy... Sweet tea and Coke Zero. Drinks came out, and we were told they don't have sweet tea, but they sweetened it with something natural... And the wife said it was perfect. Food waiter came over and asked if we wanted bread and an appetizer, we ordered the mozzarella. Wasn't expecting it to come out in a melted pile of mozzarella and bread seasoned with oil and vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper. Everyone does it a bit differently, but it was good. After we finished it we ordered Veal Parmesan for me, and Chicken Parmesan for the wife. I haven't had Veal in a long time, possibly since I lived in Germany. Tell you what... It was great. Wife loved the Chicken Parmesan as well. Asked if we wanted dessert, and we could not really fit it in, but ordered tiramisu and the cheese cake. Took a couple bites, and had to box them to go. The food was great, and we had good conversations with our waiters Daniel G and Bronson, they laughed with us, and recommended good items. They "crumbed" our table a few times, and were very respectful and welcoming adding to the experience. Overall, we have a new favorite place in the area. Keep doing what you guys are doing... Great food, great surroundings, great experience.

We had the best time celebrating our 3 year anniversary here. The atmosphere is classy with great music, the food and drinks were delicious, and the service was outstanding. It was the perfect spot for a special night out and we will definitely be back.

This place was amazing, the atmosphere is great. The service was very good, we got the fish special and was extremely salty but the staff was happy to replace it and it came back perfect. They have a wide cocktail list to choose from all are great! This is a must try place and excited to come again when back in town!

Expect to spend 100$ for a couple for drinks food ect.. but the staff is top notch and food is very good. Great place for a nice night out.

The food options were amazing, but did not always live up to my expectations. Would definitely go back. Bartenders were awesome. Marley was my fave!

If I could give Ruffino’s on the river 6 stars I would. We celebrated my wife’s birthday with a party of 8. Every detail was perfect down to the communication with the staff to accommodate seating. The waitress was amazing and kind. Very friendly. The food choices were great. Appetizers and entree’s were on point. Absolute perfect evening celebrating with friends. Can’t wait to go back. Ruffino’s knocked it out the park!!

I took my girlfriend as a little get away dinner as we're from out of town. The place is fantastic and our waiters were very timely and cordial with us. We had ordered the crab cheesecake, spaghetti alla carbonara, farms ribeye, pot de creme, and creme brulee. They additionally gave us a complimentary cake ball. Everything was cooked to perfection and in a timely manner.

I came here on a double date. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. The server greeted us and explained the wine selection and the chef specials. I decided on the spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious. It was seasoned well with just the right amount of sauce. I enjoyed everything here.

The service last night was incredible. My daughter graduated from college. We had a huge table. They were so quick friendly. They even gave her a bottle of wine for her graduation and a dessert and the food was top-notch.

Great experience coming here for a birthday dinner, the corn and crab bisque was wonderful and my son loved the make your own pizza.

Girlfriends and I met here for Sunday brunch last weekend for one of our birthdays. It was fantastic! We sat on the indoor patio over looking the river with such awesome views! The atmosphere was absolutely perfect, not loud (which I can’t stand having to strain to hear over the loud background noise), very upscale and my filet mignon was perfection. They brought out a sparkler on top of the desert for my friend’s birthday and of course ended with their famous cotton candy. A wonderful time for us all. I highly recommend!!

This place was amazing. It is a little pricey, but from the moment you sit to the moment you leave this place is amazing and worth the extra coins.

WOW , I love that I was wonderfully surprised last night. It’s been a year since we’ve eaten at Ruffino’s . The bar and restaurant were packed so I expected some disappointment. This was by far the BEST the food we have ever had there . I had the scallops which were perfected cooked over a bed of courgettes. My husband had the Filet paired with mashed potatoes. His steak was so tender and seasoned perfectly . Our servers were polite, knowledgeable, friendly and provided continually but not annoying service . The food has reached a new level and I couldn’t be any happier . Thank you for such a wonderful night . we will be back again very soon :)

I had ordered their mimosa with Boudin Biscuits. It was extremely delightful. The server Gino was very professional and he knew the menu well. Gavin was also a very professional.

It was amazing. Food was great staff was top tier. I would recommend it to the president if I ever met him. It’s a beautiful setting for any occasion.

Upscale and amazing, the service is impeccable, surpassed only by the food! I suggest going with one of the off menu chef specials which has never disappointed me. One of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette. I suggest the crabmeat cheesecake (it isn't cheesecake) to start or the pulled mozzarella appetizers. The pork cheek is equally stunning. Their steaks are absolute to die for and everything is always cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

We came to Ruffino’s On The River to celebrate my girlfriend recently landing the job she’s been working toward, and it could not have been a better experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was perfect for a special night out, the service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our waiter was extremely friendly and accommodating, making sure everything was just right throughout the evening. I ordered the ribeye, and it was absolutely cooked to perfection—one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Paired with great drinks and a celebratory mood, it made for an unforgettable night. Highly recommend Ruffino’s if you’re looking for amazing food, excellent service, and a place that makes any occasion feel special!

I absolutely loved this place! Last minute dinner date and the whole experience was just amazing. I had the blue crab gnocchi and my boyfriend had the wagyu burger and WOW. Exceeded my expectations so easily. Definitely going again... And again.. and again.. their cocktails are AMAZING also.

Brought my wife on our anniversary last year (2024). Atmosphere, service and food were awesome! Would recommend to anyone especially for anniversaries. The staff took care of my special request and also, stored some roses for me and had them sitting on the table for her when we were seated.

Good food! They allowed the party I was in to still be seated, even though it was close to closing. The pasta was nice, needed a little seasoning for my taste. But, good experience while being in Lafayette.

We love the atmosphere and excellent service, this was our second visit. And for a second time we enjoyed our appetizers more than our entree's.

We met here for dinner with my husband’s Marines Corp battle buddy. The ambiance was nice and they take service serious. Unfortunately they did not have chargrilled oysters available or in stock, which was a sin. We ordered the Arancini and bbq shrimp appetizers which were definitely not a shareable. Hubby ate it all by himself. The bbq shrimp only had 4 medium sized shrimp and it was not very full of flavor. The bbq shrimp pasta entree was so under seasoned that we had to ask for seasoning. We had their version of meat lovers pizza and an over dressed Caesar salad. I kept 4 stars because although the food was lackluster, the ambiance and service is unmatched and they brought 2 cute after dinner treats.

I will admit the decor does need an upgrade but I had an overall good experience. We did receive old bread (so hard it couldn't be sliced) ; however, our waiter did replace it with no problems. The appetizers, entrees, and cocktails were delicious. To be frank, the service was quick, attentive, and welcoming, I would revisit based on the service alone.

6/9/24 came back! Devon was a great bartender. He wore a smile and a great attitude 🌟 ordered chocolate martini again, and it was good! Tried bisque again & and it was a bit salty. The lamb chops were tasteless. Customer service was outstanding! Chocolate martini is GREAT! ask Dom to make for you. The crab & corn bisque are good. BBQ shrimp & grits are good, just little salty or well seasoned!

Everything tasted good. Portions weren't huge but I got full with the bread and oysters. This one was better than the one in Baton Rouge in my opinion. Servers were nice and service was good. There were 7 of us so we got 2 waiters and never had to ask for anything.

Let me tell you about the Ruffino's experience. It's a very high quality establishment. Be sure to wear a nicer outfit to enter the building. I recommend at least a polo for gentlemen. No gym shorts or casual attire. Upon entering you will be greeted and taken to your table. They will ask you if you have any special occasions for going such as an anniversary or birthday. More on this later. There was a drink server and a food server that were both very helpful. The cocktails are top quality. We got the bubble cocktail and a white sangria. Both are delicious. The complimentary bread and dip are delicious. Ask for more if you feel inclined. The bread is fresh and warm ciabatta rolls and the dip is olive oil, roasted garlic, Parmesan, and balsamic. Next we ordered an off menu appetizer sampler. That was a great way to try the first 4 appetizers. After helpful suggestions we ordered our main course of veal and a Bolognese dish. Both were delicious and rich. Overall, my impression is that the food is very rich and well prepared Italian. I would say personally, it's not my favorite. I prefer simpler meals, but I think people looking to impress with a sophisticated pallet would enjoy the experience. To top it off they gave us a cotton candy roll that was fun to taste and an anniversary gluten free chocolate cake with a sparkler. It was very good and a very thoughtful way to end the night. Visit Ruffino's and have a good time! Be sure to walk around outside before or after and take some photos or dance by the waterside like we did.

High ceilings, subdued lighting and an open kitchen plan made for enjoyable dinner experience. Our wai staff, Lane and Kennedy were both friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Veal picatta was spot on. The surprise birthday cake dessert was a nice ending to a pleasant evening.

We had reservations, and although we showed up appx 15 minutes early, they seated us immediately. For drinks, we ordered Long Island Ice Tea and Bubble Baths which were both GREAT! For the appetizers, we ordered the Seafood Arancini (ok) and the Crawfish Cakes (absolutely delicious). For Entrees, we ordered the Ribeye (very tender) with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini (bland) and the Chicken Parmesan (ok). For Dessert, we ordered the White Chocolate Brownie (delicious) and Cheesecake (ok). The drink server, Donovan was absolutely great! The food server, Steve was ok. We tipped the bartenders separately because our drinks were soooo good! The atmosphere was very laid back and a cool vibe.

The food is alright and the liquor selection is sparse. The redfish on cedar plank has gone downhill since they've opened in my opinion. The shrimp corn dogs came out really inconsistent. I'm not a big fan of having multiple waiters wait on you at the same time and that is the kind of place Ruffino's is.

Nice atmosphere and scenery. The shrimp stuffed with boudain was good. Had the grits been hot, it would have been exceptional!

1) Bisque was fantastic. 2) A little disappointed with the price to food ratio on the oysters. The dish didn’t come-out how i envisioned based on the server description, but I’ll own that. 3) 🍕 was good and even better the next day for left overs. Overall not a bad spot.

Ruffino's has a wide assortment of dishes from pizza to steaks. At $45 for some of their steaks I was expecting them to be at steakhouse quality level. My Ribeye and my wife's filet were ok but nothing special. If I went again I'd opt for the italian. They also have a drink server and a food server for each table. Despite this my drink was often unfilled Appetizer: BBQ Shrimp Entrees: (1) Steak Oscar (2) Ribeye w/ Oscar added Atmosphere/Decor: Clean and spacious Server Attentiveness: Little slow and confusing with multiple servers Food Wait: Fast Cost/Value: ~$45/ Steak Entree. Felt a little high for the quality

First time in Lafayette tried out this Italian restaurant on the river. Service was excellent and attentive. Appetizers were all very good - roasted oysters, corn & crab chowder, and a great spinach salad. The entrees were a definite step down. The pizza crust was pretty bad, definitely not expected at a place like this. The duck special was decent, no real complaints. The creme brulee dessert was torched too long leaving a bitter taste on the crispy topping.

The atmosphere is great for a romantic date especially if you choose seating in the solarium. We went on a busy Friday night to celebrate our 6 year anniversary and the service was spotty but that is expected. Our cocktail was delicious although our waiter spilt on our table but we were not very impressed with our food for it being a “fine dining” establishment. All of the dishes were presented beautifully but most of the dishes lacked flavor. We do not recommend the char-broiled oysters unless you are into chewy overcooked quarter sized oysters covered in cheese. The price shown is also for 6 not 12 so when the waitress ask if you’d like a half dozen or dozen, a dozen of overcooked oysters is $28, although we don’t mind the price it was just not good. We also tried the braised pork cheeks which we did enjoy and the highlight of our night. We thought the crabmeat cheesecake lacked flavor for how beautiful it looked as well as the duck fingers we tried. Our pizza was good but not anything impressive. The complimentary cotton candy and the complimentary dessert for our celebration was a nice touch but we will not be back as there are other local fine dining establishments around us with better tasting food for the same price.

My husband and I decided that we wanted to try Ruffino’s on the River for our 29th wedding anniversary and we wanted to love it. Unfortunately it was not our favorite. We reserved a solarium table and made sure to note that we were celebrating. We were escorted to our table promptly and asked how long we had been married for. We were quickly served water with crusty French bread and dipping sauce and asked about any extra drinks by a very friendly drink server. Unfortunately we are not alcohol drinkers, but everyone around us seemed to have beautiful cocktails When our waiter arrived he suggested the Fish Katie and Cedar plank catch which was redfish. We also chose to each get a bowl of corn and crab bisque instead of an appetizer. That soup was the hit of our night. Rich, delicious and full of crab. The fish entrees were beautiful. However, the cedar plank fish needed salt, while the mashed potatoes were over salted and the Fish Katie was raw. My husband had eaten about 3/4 when he realized that the rest was not cooked. That bite was a meal ended. Absolutely disgusting. The waiter apologized and took it off our bill. We were done and ready to go at that point. He offered us a free dessert and we decided to take the bread pudding to go. While waiting, we were brought a giant cotton candy, which was delicious, but we were a little confused about it. When our dessert was ready, a gentleman in a suit walked by and just dropped it at our table without a word. At that point, we left. It was a nice restaurant but it definitely had a few kinks and we did not feel celebrated at all. Especially after seeing other reviews with beautiful desserts that were specifically done for those celebrating.

Ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done. I brought it to our waiters attention and he argued with me about it being cooked “right”. Then he blamed the over preparedness on the hot plate the steak was served on. Our drinks were good!

Food was "good", nothing to rave about. The experience was mediocre due to a dismissive bread and butter guy and a waiter with a weird vibe. The sommelier was excellent though. Very informative and attentive. Wish I could've given him my tip directly. The atmosphere was actually really nice. Me and my guests were in the solarium, which had a peaceful and calming vibe that I loved. Overall...6/10.

My family has visited this restaurant twice. We were not keen on going a second time after receiving our portions of food that had been prepared in bulk earlier in the day on NYE in 2019. However, we decided to try again this weekend due to the lack of reservations available elsewhere and were disappointed again. The atmosphere, drinks, and service are always a treat, but the food unfortunately never hits the mark. The presentation is nice, but the taste leaves much to be desired. You literally contemplate where you can go to get a satisfying meal while pulling out of the parking lot. If you are going to drink or just value good service and ambiance only, you're going to love this place. Eat before you go...

All I have to say is this was one dinner we’d like our money back from. Servers were nice and polite, drinks were good but the appetizers (calamari & oysters), dinner entrees (snapper and lasagna) were absolutely disappointing. Some places in Lafayette just need to either step it up or give it up.

EDIT After management reply, Thanks for your generic reply, that 'tis the issue with restaurants at this moment - your focus on customer satisfaction should go beyond a simple cut and paste redone I went in with low expectations- we have eaten there for brunch a couple of times and ordered simple menu items- tonight we decided to expand our palette - Drink service went fine - martinis and margarita were perfect - Appetizers on the other hand weren't so good- Calamari bland and greasy Oysters charred beyond recognition and salty At this point I almost called the night wife just told me the lasagna tasted like the meat was 4 days old and noodles were dry not aldente - just stale layers - Steven our spooky waiter would pop in from time to time and check on us but overall table service was sloppy for a fine dining restaurant- Simple rules as replacing plates and forks between sets wasn't performed and we were left sitting with a cluttered table- Deserts came - the highlight was the raspberry cheesecake- was creamy and delicious, the crème brûlée on the other hand was mediocre- burrier in berries and had a sour taste I guess it's the sign of the times

Fish Katy was rather bland and overcooked. BThe worst thing about the fish was a sprinkling of sone sort of shredded seafood on it which might or might not have been crab. The menu said JUMBO LUMP CRABMEAT was in the dish - it was not, only a glob of unidentifiable shreds.

The guy that brought the drinks was amazing! The server ignored us for the most part, and definitely treated other tables with a preference! The duck wasn’t something that would normally be served in a fine dining restaurant! The seasoning was off, and seriously overcooked! I’m sure there is some better menu choices, but when the duck is recommended, it better be good!

A few friends and I had dinner at the bar on Sunday. I ordered the crab and corn bisque and the bolognese. When the soup came, it was cold. Then, as I ate it, almost every spoonful had crab shells in it. By the time I was finished, half of my bowl was covered in shell. When I informed the manager, he said nothing to me, took my plate, and left. He came back maybe 3 minutes later but never said a word to me. I thought he would have at least apologised for the crazy amount of shell was in it. I won't go back again.

This was our second time, the first time was about 18 months ago and was delicious. This time marked it for never again. I had the ribeye last time and loved it, not this time.The ribeye tasted like pure char and was overcooked, the mash was salty. The lasagna tasted like it was microwaved and the shrimp in the carbonara were rubbery. We had reservations for 5 and went at 430 so the restaurant had just opened. Ranch was taken off of the menu which makes no sense, that's what I normally use with my steaks. Would have been better at the Forrest in Franklin which is where I'll just keep going for my steaks because I get the same size for cheaper, with a side and salad and it tastes amazing every time. Went to DQ for dessert just to get the charcoal taste out of my mouth. Yes the waitress was made aware it was overcooked. I did say I wasn't interested in it being remade, but nothing was done to try to rectify it either.

Food is great! You shouldn’t be seated and have to wait 20-30 mins to place an order I don’t care how busy a restaurant is. If that’s the case then you should tell me it’ll be 30 mins before I’m seated versus me sitting at a table looking crazy without placing an order for so long. Know your server’s capabilities. You should know if they’re able to juggle 3-4 tables at time because obviously they cannot!

Food had no seasoning and was very underwhelming. I never received a drink from the bar that I ordered when we sat down. When the food came, I told the drinks person “Never mind. It has taken too long to receive the drink.” —- this was about 25 minutes of waiting. Soda refill occurred when I was finished with my three forkfuls of food I could tolerate before just waiting for the bill. Service was nice, as expected by the cost of the food and the atmosphere. I’m not sure why this place is always full. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

They put mortadella on a pizza. Then cooked it to smithereens. It all but disappeared and I was horrified. It was terrible. Will never go back not even for another free work dinner. If you can’t understand Italian ingredients, don’t use them.

The service was excellent. But the food on the other hand was not. It was bland and not at all any Louisiana flavor. The atmosphere was dull and needs to be updated.

Ancillary Staff was very attentive. The waiter not so concerned with the issues discussed with him. The manager didn’t come to the table at all even though there were problems with 2 entrees. The appetizers and the dessert were just not good. Very very disappointed.

Today 10/5/2025 , My boyfriend and I went eat for lunch. They had a party in the banquet room estimated 30 people max. Which I give grace towards because banquet and main can be a lot. However , WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE MAIN DINING ROOM. Everyone else had been closed out and was leaving. Including a party in the main dining room of about 15. We ordered our drinks. Drink service was great, they even gave us a grace period on the mimosas being we came at 2:40 and brunch ended at 3. We ordered cesar salads which was great, we also ordered our entrees at the same time. After our server brought our salads we saw him doing his duties such as wiping cups , drinking his drink, and rolling silver . We understand it was a “transitional period” meaning people were clocking in and out but he never checked on us. It was the inconsistent service which was a problem. A nice “your food will be a second” would be fine . Our steaks took over an hour , we asked for medium, we received nearly well done steaks on a hot plate with barely any flavor . When a steak is served on a hot plate the temperature keeps rising. The workers had no hair nets on, no gloves. Which is very disturbing. They were eating while preparing the food. It’s an open line which means you can see them semi-prepare the food. So we saw them eating and popping food in their mouth. Once we expressed this to the manager , she had the worst attitude. Basically trying to tell us that we seeing wrong. Using a passive aggressive, defensive tone. Screaming at me from the other side of the restaurant in a defensive time. They ended up comping our whole meal, the money wasn’t the problem, it was the food and atmosphere . Such a disappointment.
