Nina's Indian Restaurant is praised for its authentic Indian cuisine and grocery selection. Customers love the flavorful food, large portions, and reasonable prices, especially the lunch specials. Some find the food quality inconsistent or the service lacking.
Tip: Try the daily specials for a good value, and consider getting garlic naan for a small extra charge.

Pretty cool that they have a whole indian restaurant inside. If you select the pre-made platters it is pretty affordable but the cooked to order stuff is pretty expensive. I'm sure the grocery and products are pretty good for those who are looking for that as well.
Indian food is served cafeteria-style at the back of this market. The market has a 1960s vibe with a great selection of British and Indian items.
They always have everything I'm looking for. It's a little cramped and smells delicious and exotic. Perfect every time.
If you’re craving authentic Indian fast food, this place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh spices and sizzling snacks makes you feel like you’re in the heart of India. The chaat varieties are simply outstanding – from tangy Pani Puri and spicy Bhel Puri to the perfectly balanced Dahi Papdi Chaat, everything bursts with flavor and freshness. With Meal Combos item with comes with Naan or Garlic Naan
I go to Nina’s once week. I love their food choices and their daily specials where you can get one item for $11.99 which comes with a freshly baked naan or garlic naan for an additional $.69. Or you can get two items for $13.99. And a third item for an additional $2.00. Their food is always delicious and they always let me have a taste test before I choose my dishes. I’ve had their yellow Dahl, mattar paneer, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, samosa, and lamb (extra $5). Every single food dish I’ve tried has been savory and delicious. Their atmosphere is cozy and humble. Their employees are courteous. And their prices are reasonable. If you like Indian cuisine, I’d recommend you try this restaurant. There’s plenty of parking. And a variety of vegetarian dishes.
Always come here either the first or second day I'm in town and usually again before I leave I love Indian food and they make it great. They would do well if they had a drive-thru but they do not a lot of people are in there mostly other Indian people and I think that says a lot about their food it's not too Americanized. My only wish is that I could tell more about the groceries but since they're not in English or explained in English she really don't know what everything is so it's hard to buy things not knowing what you're buying I would sure buy things if I knew more maybe if they could label things better.
Grocery Store as of is ok. But restaurant in there is amazing. Super delicious food. Good quantity. And not so expensive. Food is really very tasty. Only thing i will say they should change is price they charge for soda and drinks is too high. But over all very good food and service.
Had a craving for Indian food and my normal go to place would be Royal Rasoi down the street. Unfortunately Royal Rasoi doesn't do combo takeout style for dinner so we had to improvise. We found this place and let me tell you, big flavor and big portions. The actual restaurant is all the way in the back of the grocery store. We ended up ordering tikka masala, veg korma, spicy garlic chicken dish and samosas. All entrees were hot and packed with spices. The garlic naan is also a must upgrade. This might be one of our new favorite Indian restaurants surprisingly.
Great choice of Indian products. Rice, gram, lentils, meds, utensils, spices, pickles, produce, Indian snacks and frozen food. They also have a small Indian restaurent serving fresh Indian fare. Value for money lunch special. Indian sweets counter. They also carry a reasonable mix of Sri Lankan and British products.
I've tried new and trendy Indian restaurants, but one only needs to know about Nina's. No frills Cafe, the food is in front of you as you order, eliminating any miscommunication that's possible at fo…
Well stocked with Indian food supplies. The restaurant offers not only entrees but also wide range of freshly prepared sweets.
In the area because the partner had a golf day at Laguna Woods. During my workout at the local L.A Fitness (Alicia Parkway, check out my review) I wanted to find something new, I randomly found this spot using google maps. The New Year is upon us and I’ve been wanting to incorporate more vegetarian dishes and what other culture in this world enjoy vegetarian food other than Indians. The curries, pav’s, dal’s, chaat, samosas always include a vegetarian version, I decided to go on a spice hunt! They offer all kinds of stuff here, snacks, rice, lentils, frozen food, premade Indian food, Indian noodles, all the Indian spices and all at a reasonable price! Walked out with 5 spice boxes and 3 bags of Indian snacks! There is an onsite restaurant, give them a try! Missing a star – The food didn’t looking pleasing, I will make sure I visit the restaurant and update this review!
Really great selection in a medium sized store dedicated to Indian groceries with two and a half aisles of British foods. We come for the British grocery staples like Salad Cream and Bistro Gravy granules. We enjoy all the biscuits and the chocolate, too! Really fresh, delicious hot plate to go Indian food in the back of the store. Their samosas deliver on flavor. The pakoras are usually hit and miss, sometimes juicy and sometimes dry. Good experience to have and to hunt for your next curry.
Chicken vindaloo: Spicy tomato based curry and it's actually pretty spicy. Chicken is alright. I had one piece of potato in here, but I wish there were more. Side of rice: That is a lot of rice for $3 which is great. This is long grain so it's more separated and not as soft and squishy. I think I have a preference for the softer kind of rice. Gopi indian lowfat style yogurt: Gotta add this to any curry and rice dish, especially if it's spicy!

we visited here in search of south Indian restaurant which it is, seems to be owned by Indian chap. food quality is average, only solace is you can get idli, dosa, vada, pavbhaji here. not typical Indian taste very bland non spicy. advantage is you have all Indian package food items like daal, chawal, fluor, pickles, papad, chapati, roti, vegetables, fruits available in the grocery store.
Absolutely horrible. Curry tastes like prison food. Peas are the only thing that gives them "flavor". In fact, even prison food will do better. Naans are dry. Never go there. Would be -5 stars if I c…

This store has a restaurant, and I ate dosa there. It was absolutely terrible; don't waste your money because I tried the dosa at that shop. The dosa was incredibly bad, and the sambar was mostly water. Neither the chutney nor the service was good. The employees were wandering around as if they weren't there to provide service but to drive customers away. 👎
Hey everyone, this is my second time visiting this restaurant, and I ordered Shahi Paneer curry. When I reheated the curry in the microwave, I noticed a large amount of oil floating on top. This was quite shocking. The picture I have posted here was taken after I removed some of the oil from the curry. I kindly request the restaurant staff to pay attention to the quantity of ingredients used while preparing food and to keep customers’ health in mind, not just the taste, look, and feel of the curry. I don’t want to pay 17$ for to spoil my health. I also strongly suggest that everyone be cautious while eating food outside. Hope this helps.
I've been coming here for 20 years, and didn't mind the prices getting higher as long as the customer service was ok. The food quality is also getting less tasty and the portion sizes are getting smaller, all the while the prices are getting more. A few weeks ago, I ordered the channa-bhatura for the first time, and I ate it there. I didn't know that I was supposed to receive 2 bhaturas or puris, and I only got one. When I found out, I told the employee who helped me out that time, and she agreed to give me another one. BUT, another lady employee-NAMED PRAGUA heard me and was really on my case about this, and made me feel LIKE I WAS TRYING TO CHEAT, even though she has helped me out many times for many years. PRAGUA questioned me about this 5 times, and was sure that what I had said did not happen. Then on my next 2 visits, PRAGUA RETALLIATED AGAINST ME. First she refused to give me the different chutneys I always get when I order the $15 dosas. I was upset, but didn't say anything, and just accepted it, paid for it since the dosas were already being cooked, and I decided to not order dosas there in the future. Then the next visit, I ordered over $50 of food from the kitchen, and PRAGUA REFUSED to give me the chutneys and raita because she said I didn't order the combos. But, I ordered the same food as the combos but just got large and extra large sizes of everything. Then PRAGUA REFUSED to give me the side rice that comes when you order an extra-large item. I ordered the extra large potato stuffing of the dosas, which costs as much any other extra large vegetable item. THIS IS IT 4 ME. I can't take PRAGUA'S RETALIATION AND NEGATIVE ATTITUDE towards me anymore. I am no longer going there and spending $50 every week, $200 every month, $2400 every year here. I came for the ambience and great customer service, but PRAGUA has completely RUINED that. I used to drive 30 minutes just to get there from Irvine, 1 hour round-trip. I didn't mind spending the time and gas money as the people there always were polite, courteous, and friendly, BUT PRAGUA has RUINED THAT COMPLETELY. I have been saving a lot of time and money by getting my Indian food from TRADER JOE'S. They have a lot of selections including garlic naan, chana, somosas, and even excellent vegetarian byrani with cashews and raisins and vegetable dumplings for only $2.99 I will definitely miss the great customer service I used to get from SUNISHKA, SUNDIP, SHEETAL, and many others there, but PRAGUA'S BAD ATTITUDE has STOPPED ME FROM EVER GOING TO NINA'S EVER AGAIN.
