Awesome spot. Best local beers (brewed in Tupper Lake) and Megan who runs it is very kind and knowledgeable about the area. We stop by every time we are in the area.

We stopped here for a drink while on vacation in Lake Placid two weeks ago. Friendly bartender and drinks were good. A little warm inside but otherwise, very relaxed small atmosphere.

Stopped by today for the first time. They offer flights and full pours. We were staying that the Golden Arrow which is attached to the hallway Raquette is located in so we bought some cans to go. They have clothing and stickers for purchase as well. Parking on street is free. If no parking on street there is a parking lot near by you can pay to park at and walk to the brewing tasting room. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Beautiful design of building, nice variety of beverages. Food trucks had an array of choices. Staff friendly and helpful. Then the shifts changed..if someone is having a bad day perhaps they should take a breather. Doubtful we will be back

I recently stopped by the Raquette River Brewing Tasting Room in Lake Placid, hoping to quickly grab something local and interesting. Since I was in a hurry, I picked up a 4-pack of their Maple Cream Porter straight from the fridge without checking the price. That part is on me — but discovering it cost nearly $20 for a take-out 4-pack was a shock. At that price point, I assumed the quality would justify it. Unfortunately, it didn’t. When my wife and I tried the beer at home, the disappointment was immediate. The Maple Cream Porter had no maple character whatsoever, and none of the smooth, creamy quality you’d expect from the style. Instead, it tasted like slightly carbonated brown water with the faintest hint of beer — thin, flavorless, and absolutely not worth the premium price. After just a couple of sips, the rest went straight down the drain. This was easily one of the worst porters I’ve ever tried, and the $20 felt like money thrown away. I genuinely don’t understand the hype, because this particular beer fell far below even basic expectations.
