Not sure why there are bad reviews for this place. The barbacoa was DELICIOUS compared to other places around town. The menudo was awesome too. Highly recommend it and the service was quick and great. Thanks again and don't forget to try the Limonada it was awesome.

Fast service. Good service. Good barbacoa. Not expensive at all. Good salsa. And u get cabbage and cilantro fror ur tacos. Small restaurant.

The food was amazing! The prices are great! Get there early, the restaurant is limited in space, and there was a line to get in. I wish we had the option to add more hominy to the menudo. Our server looked annoyed and seemed to be rushed.

Really wanted this place to be “it” as there are not many options in North Laredo, however.. Portions are ridiculously small. Tacos can be eaten in literally two bites. Tortillas are too ‘texmex’ and lack taste. Barbacoa is good but unbelievably greasy. Place has potential but seems to be mismanaged. A few changes can really make this place work.

4 of us went to eat, our enchiladas tortillas were cold to the touch. The chile relleno meat was not good. But the guisado was good. Our first time there, but I guess they are known for the breakfast. So stick with the breakfast then. 4 d vosotros comimos, las enchiladas tortillas estaban frias. El chile relleno carne no sabia rico. Pero el quisado estaba bien. Lira’s se conoce por el amuerzo, mejor quedarnos con el…. Gracias. Y lo mako q nadien de aqui responden a los comentarios que e visto. Donde esta el servicio del cliente….

The point of business is to keep your customers happy well this place doesn't even try to better it self! Tacos are too small for the price the tortilla is never warm enough! What a way of acting like their helping you out! Your history n not going back service is ver ignorant! But I forgive n no more YOUR BAD HISTORY

Barbacoa is good tasting however seems like the cook just serves without chopping. It’s not what it was when it opened up. Downtown is much better. 🤷🏻

The breakfast taco portions are too small, and the barbacoa is extremely greasy. In general, the food is not distinctive in flavor.

Poor quality service from one of their female servers. She didn’t want to add fruit to my smoothie even when I offered to pay extra. I also asked to switch it, and she didn’t seem to want to change it. She said everything was pre-portioned in plastic bags…I don’t know how they make their fruit smoothies, but I ordered a banana, mango, and papaya smoothie that they had on their menu…and they gave me a large cup of milk with probably 3 small pieces of fruit blended together. They may need to reconsider their fruit portions for such a large cup size. It didn’t seem proportionate. Their breakfast tacos are good! Small size, but tasty!

Thumbs down for this Mexican restaurant. My husband bought over 50 breakfast tacos for clients this morning and was very disappointed! Their tacos are small, tortillas looked half raw and contained a sliver of food. He had to go to nearest Stripe store to buy an additional amount to makeup for that! Never again!
