Always look forward to stopping here for what has to be one of the biggest, and best, hoagie, sub, whatever, that I've ever had. I challenge someone to show me a better one for size, freshness of ingredients, amount of meat blah, blah, anywhere. It's certainly not the cheapest, but you'll get several meals out of one of theses very large subs!
Great food and awesome staff! A woman named Autumn dropped a menu and some cookies off at our office and they were a hit! I really appreciated her follow up to ensure we received the menus she left. Definitely one of the best sub shops in the area!
My local go to sub shop. If there's a line, it moves quickly and the staff friendly. Their house oil, on an everything roll, with all the veggies makes everything taste even better. Out of all the chains, their chocolate chip cookies are hands down the best. They have depth of flavor, it's not just white sugar sweet.
Our favorite sandwich shop by a lot. So many specialty subs and they are fresh and delicious. They have a long list of specialty salads as well as fresh cookies and meal deals. The full size subs are about 15 inches and they do not skimp on meats or toppings. They have their own oil which is awesome. If your into a hearty Italian sub then I do recommend the Godfather. My favorite.
I never loved a sub place until I went here. If I'm going to have a sub, it has to be from here. The atmosphere is old fashioned. The staff are friendly. The food is high quality and so big it barely fits in my mouth. Haven't had a bad meal better yet.
Their bread is baked fresh! It’s so good too and I’m not easy to please in that department! I always get the Godfather on Everything, add bacon and cheese - of course! Fresh cold cuts, you can see things cooked and made right in front of you! Staff is alway friendly, quick and efficient! Highly recommend.
Subs were good and made super quickly. Inside was decently clean, tables could of been a little cleaner. The employees were very nice and seemed to be having a good time while still working very efficiently. Nice place, good subs!
This is by far my most favorite sub shop. A small is by far two meals for me or satisfies a very hungry me :) I love getting a grilled turkey and cheese sub. I'll never get tired of the sub, the staff, the environment, and bringing all my favorite people here to share in the delicious flavors 😋💦
Wow, I'm never going anywhere but here for my subs from now on. Highly recommend this place, my four kids and husband agree as well. Great choice of subs, cheese, meat, veggies and quality condiments. Fresh baked rolls too. Delicious!
Thank you for taking care of me yesterday. A loved one had passed away the previous day, and Dibellas was one of their favorite places to eat. I ordered 6 subs to-go and they were very helpful and understanding. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
My wife and I both love this place. Way better than Jersey Mike's!!! I usually get the whole wheat bread with turkey, swiss, lettuce, and onion. I wish they had a couple more topping options like jalapenos but this place I'm always willing to make the 15 min drive (past other sub shops) to get a great sub.
This is THE BEST sub in the STATE. First of all its nearly impossible to find fresh tuna salad. So so FRESH. The bread is fresh. The vegetables are fresh and the customer service is STELLAR. I also had their pasta salad and it is so good. They could fill the containers a pinch more but overall this is the best fast food I've had in YEARS.
One of the best subs I have ever ordered. I happened upon this establishment, while browsing uber eats, as I don't drive a car. Now, I must say that this one of the best choices I have made, for a sub shop. Great tasting, check. Enough meat to cover the whole sub, check. Made to order, check. I will definitely order again.
First time there and the associate displayed all the different sizes of subs and recommended their favorite which I ended up ordering to the Medium "Cowboy" on an everything sub roll. It was toasted, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be coming back again!!!
I really enjoy this sub shop. They pack their subs with a generous amount of meat, the prices are not over the top and they offer both meat and veggie options. All subs can also be made into salads. The employees are very friendly and patient. The only downside is that they don't toast their subs. My favorites are The Godfather and The Cowboy both on multigrain bread.
The best sub I have ever tasted. The bread was phenomenal, and they are all incredibly pleasant people that work there. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food. Love the seating too, enough room for inside and can also eat outside.
Every time I stop here I am in and out in 5 minutes. The sandwiches speak for themselves. The bread is phenomenal. A large sub is easily two meals for me. The best part? The service is wonderful. I'm often served by a young woman who appears to be the manager. She is polite, attentive and friendly. Not the kind of service I typically expect from a chain restaurant, but it is the norm at Dibella's. Could not be any more pleased with my experiences here. Sometimes you just need a solid sub, this spot will never disappoint.
I brought some of my friends to DiBella's because it is more than just subs. It is a great atmosphere with great food. The person taking the orders was efficient and friendly and the food was ready about ten minutes later. The subs were so substantial that I had the second half for lunch the next day.
Stopped in to get some lunch after shopping at Latham Farms. We ordered a turkey sub and the godfather sub. Both subs were delicious. The subs were ready as we were paying. There are several tables to grab a seat and eat. Most of the tables were dirty, it would be nice if the tables were wiped down between use.
The place is cute inside reminds me of a theme restaurant. The subs are so good and ask for the dibellas dressing!! The bread 🍞 is soft too not hard at all.
Great experience with entire catering process! They are professional, eager to help and super friendly. Food is delicious and presentation looks great. HIGHLY recommend.
The best chain in the area. I balk at calling it a chain as there are not a lot of them. They are on the pricier side but worth every penny. The rewards program they have is awful. But that’s really the only knock on them. Plenty of sides to choose from. Comfy seating and booths to enjoy your meal. Fast, professional service. It is the gold standard for subs/hoagies.
The catering department was extremely pleasant to work with! They were very quick to prepare a platter for us same day and it was a big hit at our sales meeting. The ordering was quick and painless, the staff were very friendly they provided us with all the necessary condiments and didn't miss a beat. Thank you DiBella's for such an amazing experience.
Our recent experience at the Latham DiBellas was very good. The sandwiches were all made well, with a decent amount of meat, they all had the right meats and toppings based on what was ordered. The bacon was nice and crispy. Past visits here we have had issues with getting only turkey when a turkey and roast beef was ordered and also have had cold slimy bacon on a sandwich at least one time. It has been a while; we have been favoring Jersey Mike's for the past few months but this recent order at Latham DiBellas will encourage us to come back again soon.
Best subs around. No other sub shop can compare with DiBellas's . This is my honest opinion. Once you have a DiBellas's sub you are good for the night.
I ordered using the app and curbside thru fly by. I was great tracked me when I said I was leaving home until I got there. There in less than 2 minutes out came order with a friendly employee. Was a great lunchtime experience will definitely do it again. The cowboy sub was really good, fresh bread. Try it out.
Great quality meat, toppings, and bread. I won't even go to the other chain sub shops as I've now discovered the best.
Every time I come back to New York to visit my family, no matter how little time we have, my husband and I ALWAYS have to make a stop to Dibella's for their amazing subs!! These subs are packed full with magnificent flavor!!! They aren't like your average sub shop that skimps on the meat and loads you up with just lettuce. Everything is personalized just for you, Chipotle style. The atmosphere is amazing, the old music playing, Italian decor. It is my favorite place to eat and my favorite Sub shop, by far.
I took my bowling team on 1/8 after our match. They told me right up front they were short staffed and it may take awhile for food to come out which I thought was very nice. All of the staff were great. They got food out in a timely manner and worked efficiently. One person cashed out customers and the other two expedited food. One of my players was short $1 (I had no idea or I would have given him the money) and the cashier covered his $1. I found out at the end and went up to pay the cashier and she said that no she already paid for it. You don't get much nicer than that. Kudos to you are your staff for giving us a great experience at your place
I ordered a large cowboy sub on an everything roll. Server who took my order was friendly, sub was ready for me fairly quick and was absolutely delicious. Will be returning for another in the future.
I accidentally ordered online at the other Albany location and the owner or manager was amazing. She made me what I ordered very quickly and gave me a drink while I waited. She was incredibly kind and professional; I couldn’t be more grateful or pleased.
I am a monthly regular at the Latham, NY store. I always order the Dagwood on Everything bread and have never been disappointed. Today I felt the sub was exceptionally fresh and loaded with meat and veggies. Best subs in our area!
I ordered 4 subs online to be picked up after work for dinner for the fam and it was ready and waiting for me. I got the subs home everything was made to perfection and everyone enjoyed their subs, I was even told by my son that it was the best sub he ever had ( the godfather). Would definitely do this again soon.
If I could give 6 stars I would. The employees are friendly and great at what they do. We were greeted with smiles and were delighted to find they have the best veggie sub I've ever had in any restaurant. The vegetables are the star of this sandwich with an abundance of delicious diversity. Lettuce, kosher dill pickles, tomatoes, onions, roasted red peppers, sweet and hot peppers, black olives, and baby spinach made this meal. I finished it with mayo and Buffalo sauce. The everything bread was soft and chewy. Perfecto! The employees obviously take pride in their work and seem to have fun making us feel welcome and appreciated. I had to tell them on my way out..."You guys rock! Thanks for the best veggie sub ever!"
Service was absolutely outstanding. With everything going on right now with the covid. They make sure they are doing the right things to serve you. You can call ahead to pick up or walk into the area they have set up to place the order. The sub I got was a roast beef large on sesame bread with lettuce tomatoes onions mayonnaise mustard and pepper jack cheese. Was very good the bread was fresh along with the roast beef. I would have to say if you are looking for a great sub go here for it. Thank you for the great service.
This is one of my favorite sub shops. The mid-century decor, featuring pictures of Frank Sinatra and the like, is pretty nice and not over the top. The subs have names like "The Godfather" and can come on various types of bread or made into a salad. They are made to order, and always super stuffed; even the bread sizes are big. It's a great lunch spot for all of the people who work in the area. The staff at this location is always very friendly, and you'll often find an employee cleaning the dining area so there's never any worry of sitting down to eat at a dirty table. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because it's not accessible from the main road (although it's visible), you have to turn onto a side road then turn into their parking lot. It's not a big deal at all, just more of an annoyance. Overall DiBella's is great!
Better than I remembered having in Chicago about 7 years ago. Decent sub love the everything roll. The meat is better quality than me sub or Subway so that's a plus. Subs are very messy to eat toppings slide out. Thought it was good.
In my opinion, always a great place for a sub., way better than subway. The money spent is equal to the value of food. The meatball sub is spicy and needs a little more sauce, of course that is my opinion. The restaurant is clean, the service counter is clean. What I could see. Yup I will go back
This place is amazing!!! If they could understand oil on the side I would of given them 5 stars. Their breads are amazing and baked fresh daily. A large sub can feed 2 adults with no issues. Their famous oil dressing is amazing, if only they didn't drown my sub in it 😪
Great choice of subs, the sizes are very generous. Larges are a struggle to finish, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a large size sub. Bread always tastes fresh and has a perfect balance of crust and soft inner bread. Great selection of fresh vegetables and toppings. The bacon is VERY good as well. Worth the upcharge, in my opinion. I also highly recommend the box of cookies they sell at the counter as well. Fresh and bite-sized, these cookies are absolutely divine. The only reason I'm rating four instead of five stars is every once in a while they will forget to add bacon on my sub, even though I've paid for it, and I don't notice until I've already driven home. Not a deal breaker, just try and watch carefully as they're making the sub to make sure that you get what you pay for. But I understand some days are busier than others so I'm not too upset! The food here is a little pricier than Subway, but I definitely prefer this location over Jersey Mike's because the amount of sub you get for your buck is absolutely incredible. They have a nice rewards system as well, if you mention it to the person checking you out.
Generally good sandwiches. Better than most of the other big sandwich chains. Clean and not too expensive. Service is ok.
Love the subs, the proptness, and the staff that work there.
I came back here after not coming for a couple of years. This is my favorite sub place in the NY Capital District, and I thought it likely I would end up giving them a 5. I personally have had the meatball sub as well as tuna and ham subs, and they have all been quite good. I had the meatball upon my recent return here, and it wasn't quite as good as I remembered. Still good though, and the subs are a generous size. I ordered a medium and couldn't finish it. The small size is enough to fill up on. The prices are also higher now, which is not a surprise, but I have to consider them in the rating. What was a 5 at the old prices may only be a 4 at the new prices. Still I pick this place over Jersey Mike's, Subway, and especially Mr. Subb.
My wife and I went to the shop and ordered in person. We ordered and the wait time was very short. Everyone was friendly. When we got home we discovered that while my sub was correct, hers was not. But rather than drive there and back again, a distance of 9 miles one way, she decided to just eat it. Other than that it was near perfect.
My husband and I are traveling to the Adirondacks to camp and wanted a quick but filling sandwich. We prefer not to hit major chains on vacation so we googled local sandwich shops and found this one. The bread is outstanding - I ordered the Uncle Louis on everything bread with lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet peppers and cucumbers. All of the vegetables tasted fresh and I really enjoyed their oil mix. Also, I had provolone on it and that was delicious, too. My husband ordered a cowboy on plain without any vegetables. It was well filled and filling with crispy bacon and a good flavor mix. I B wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again. The wait time was not excessive either.
The food here is truly delicious. My main issue, though, is the length of time it takes to get your food. I know everything is made to order and requires a little wait, but when I pick up for customers, they always take a ridiculous amount of time. It's like delivery orders get pushed back for orders that have walked in which is annoying and not fair considering my customers ordered before the walk-in customers arrive. I frequently will drop my orders from here because of the wait time. I love their subs, otherwise.
*Edit* I received a gift card for a future purchase and another apology from DiBella’s via email. I updated my rating because they made it right. Thank you! I did a DoorDash order tonight (12/17/2025) from the Wade Rd. Location in Latham, NY and the only reason I’m not going through DoorDash is because my issue is with whoever made the sub. This was my first DoorDash experience and the driver was great, no complaints with DD at all. The second half of my large 14” sub was seriously lacking in steak, enough to where I feel the need to complain due to the cost of a large sub. Thank you.
Was DiBella’s the best sub I’ve ever tasted? No, but it was pretty darn good. Having great bread really amps what was a pretty normal sub up to a 10. The everything seasoned bread - holy cow! That should be an option on every sub everywhere. The portion size was larger than expected and the price was reasonable. They lose a star for the convoluted ordering and paying process - it’s one of these places that gets annoyed when you aren’t a regular and you don’t know what you are supposed to do. Ordering and paying shouldn’t be a confusing process - and it was here, at least for this first timer. Restaurant and restrooms were very clean and great from a Covid standpoint as well!
Love DiBellas. I think the subs here are awesome. Have tried both hot and cold subs and love them both. I stopped in around 730-8pm on a weekday for a sub. Gentleman that took my order was friendly and helped me out promptly. The thing that rubbed me the wrong way and why I gave a 3 star rating was that at some point during him making my sub, he started eating something. I didn't see what he picked up, but while making my sub, he was clearly chewing and eating something. I found that rather gross. I'm not a germaphobe at all, but I think it is bad manners and poor customer service to be eating while preparing other people's food. He must've taken a piece of meat or cheese and started eating it because he never left the counter to grab anything other than what was right in front of him. This won't change anything for me to return to this place, but I just remember every bite I took out of that sub wondering what else ended up on the sub that I didn't really want.
I love the variety of subs Dibella's offers. I also love how accommodating and easy it is to order their catering. However, I was not a fan of my order not being ready when I went to go pick it up. And since it wasn't ready, I asked if they could cut each sub into thirds (to save me the time). When I was handed my order I was told that one of the workers forgot to cut it in thirds and accidentally cut it in half..... But then there was no offer to fix their mistake in any way. That was frustrating because I was accounting for a specific number of people. By cutting the sandwich in half, it impacted the number of people able to eat.
Ordered 2 kids meals. Got one kids meal complete and one with just the sandwich, to make matters worse the actually kid meal boxes are pre made which means they couldn't be bothered to actually grab the premade second meal. One of the sandwich had a measley half slice of cheese on it. On a positive the bread was soft and fresh. Dibellas is becoming a pass by as opposed to a weekly stop.
I have had many good subs here but last time I was asked electronically for a tip using my credit card to the point I had to put in 0 tip, then it was a long wait.....got home sub had no dressing on it and my uncle Louie had no roast beef (my favorite part). Crazy they want a tip before you even get the sub, what if you wait a 1/2 hour, how you gonna feel.....like a fool. Stay hungry my friends and check your subs.
The service was good. My first time there and I walked in not knowing where to start, thankfully a woman helped me right away and then I noticed the menu in front of my face. I have to try more subs to get a better opinion on the other wares. I ordered the Italian assorted sub it was pretty good. The place is pricey though, my sub with tiny bag of chips and a fountain drink cost me over $12. Plenty of room inside with enough places to sit.
Not sure what’s going on with this location, but they either get the ingredients wrong or dont put enough. I got the most skimpiest sandwich. Just save yourself the trouble & go to the Albany location.
Ordered online for pickup. The Godfather sub I ordered was delicious and totally hit the spot, but my dad’s meatball sub had no cheese or marinara sauce - literally just meatballs on bread. The online order listed all the toppings so it was truly bizarre. Hope it was a one-time mistake? FWIW he said they were good meatballs.
Very disappointed. We went to get subs and specifically said what we wanted. Got home and the subs were like they did whatever they wanted. As a vegan I specifically said no cheese and it had cheese and was soaked with dressing. A third sub was almost right. They are expensive and out of the way and we can do better at another sub place. Past visits were not like this, so it might be a matter of training.
I have been going to this store for about 4 years because I like the subs. Unfortunately recently customer service has gone south just like Jersey Mikes Latham! Lack of training and attitudes! The easiest thing to do is treat your customers with respect and make them feel welcome!!! No matter who they are! 11/7/22 at 4:00?? I’ve tried several times since my last post and nothing changed? Employees with attitudes and on going mistakes on orders? I even emailed your office and spoke with your district manager. Your product is excellent when done right and a smile?? You keep saying your sorry in a response to band reviews? IT’S THE HELP IS WHY YOUR GETTING BAD REVIEWS??????
Very disappointed. The sub was not worth the money at all. I got the BYO sub 7 inch. Ham, Turkey, roast beef meat choice. The turkey was absolutely disgusting like gelatin, the roast beef wasn't terrible but definitely could have been better, the ham I got was supposed to have been regular but i got the hot ham instead(I can't stand hot things at all). The only decent thing was the multigrain bread, cookie, and chips that i got with it. Overall not worth my money, the aggravation, or intense mouth burn the rest of my eating experience. Also I had asked for bacon and they didn't put it on so i had to go back up and get it. Won't be coming back.
I've always loved Dibella's and hadn't been to this location in quite a while. Couple years maybe, I live 25 minutes away but was in the area.. I was really disappointed with my sub. The worst part was that the roll was stale, hard even. One of the things I've loved most about Diballa's are their rolls. I couldn't believe they made my sub on a stale and hard roll. They also got my order wrong. They neglected to put Dibella'a oil on it as I had ordered. The restaurant was also not very clean, floors in particular. Really unfortunate.
DiBellas used to be the GO TO sub spot. I would recommend it to everyone I spoke to. It used to be amazing. Unfortunately, it has gone quite downhill with service and quality over time. The last few times, I tried giving the benefit of the doubt, but this must have been time number 4 in a row with a subpar experience. We won't be back for a very long time. The only thing they have is at this point is the nostalgia of how good they once were.
An absolute disappointment from a chain that's usually so good. Most of the dining room was closed at 6 pm on a Saturday (bizarre) and my meatball sub was *cold*. I won't be returning to this location I don't think. I'll stick to the one in Albany.
Every table was filthy everyone , wife and I couldn’t find a clean one. The entry doors glass is filthy. The young lady at the register couldn’t smile stone cold face. It was not busy 1:57 afternoon.
Ordered food for pickup, and waited roughly 20 minutes upon arriving for my order. They were not putting online orders out on the online order shelf, so eventually I went to look at the bags hanging up behind the counter when I saw it had been sitting there. I had initially been told it wasn't ready yet. Before I could mention it, one of the employees with dreadlocks angrily yelled from down the counter "I'll be there in a minute". I replied "ok, just noticed my bag was ready" to which he raised his intensity and yelled louder at me "I said I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!". One of the other employees walked over rolling her eyes at how he was yelling, and got the order for me. I understand people have bad days, but this was unprompted and uncalled for... That said the subs were good, as we've always experienced in the past. Might just think twice about ordering there in the future with how I was treated.
Check your order before you leave because they probably made it wrong. Got 3 out of 9 ingredients on my sub. Asked for a straightforward Uncle Louie and got 3 pieces of meat on a dry roll.
First time I’ve been to location and got unsatisfactory food. I order a turkey club which is a $12 salad and receive something that looks like a $6 side salad. This is my normal order and this time for some reason my salad is half of its normal size. What’s going on. Highly dissatisfied.
Unfortunately, this will be my very LAST trip to DiBella's. They have gone way down hill since my last visit. Now they also do not take your order at the start of the line anymore. You have to go to the register and place your order like any other regular, non-special place. Not to mention employees discussing personal stuff, while my subs sit, waiting to be given to me. It is a shame. I always thought they were better than Mr. Subb or Subway, but from now on I will continue to support my local sub shop near where I live.
Not sure what happened today. Been going to this location for years and it was always efficient, and delicious. The food was great as always but something must have gone wrong behind the scenes because people were waiting 40+ minutes for pickup orders. Employees were ignoring us left and right. I placed an order at 4:05, eta said 4:30 it’ll be ready. I got there at 4:30 and waited until 5:15 for my 3 subs and an employee told me “the hot subs were being cooked out of order so we apologize for the wait”. This same person was using gloves to touch the phone, make subs, and put the phone to her face as well, but I’m not gonna even go any further with how unsanitary that is. My 2 cold subs were done when i got there apparently and i waited 45 minutes for one hot sub. Great food but i don’t know why management didn’t step in. Seemed understaffed and like they took on more than they can handle. Will consider trying again soon to see if it’s a reoccurring thing now but this was a very unfortunate experience.
Use to be good. Now not worth the trip to make. Usually 5 employees working and they are slow to make a sub cold or hot
I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Salad. It’s one of my favorite meals to order out, so imagine how frustrating it was when this one turned out to be disappointing. The salad and chicken were prepared ahead of time, and they give you blue cheese dressing and Buffalo sauce packets to add to it. The chicken was dry and bland, and the added sauces/dressings result in a lackluster flavor. To be fair, I’ve had their sandwiches before and they are much better.
I had heard good things about DiBella's so thought I would try them out. After ordering the sub and paying almost $15 for it, I really wasn't impressed with it. The turkey meat they used tasted like bologna - almost like buddig turkey, no, I'll pass. I didn't even want to finish it so I took it up to the front and asked if they had a money back guarantee. They said no, and refused a refund. Fine, no problem, I could have possibly come back another day to try a salad or a different sub type, but now, since it was clearly stated there is no customer satisfaction guarantee, then no, won't be back. Even a Subway turkey sub was better than what they made.
Every time my daughter home to visit, she always goes to DeBellas for a meatball sub. One meatball with a tiny amount of sauce. Posting a pic on next door. My sub wasn’t that great either. Hope it was just one bad employee.
Called and ordered a small sub - was told it would be an hour, meanwhile its mid snow storm so i cant imagine theyre too busy. I specifically stated the modifications for my sub and the new employee who obviously fell very short of training and is lacking common sense for his job role - COMPLETELY BOTCHED my order. I say No to something and he mustve wrote extra on the ticket... Totally disappointed. Never have been let down by this location but after not only being told 1 hour for a small sub then after questioning it then turned to 20 minutes.... my whole order was made a** backwards. Definitely lost a customer for family catering events, business events, and any further personal business.
Didn't get my sub made right. Employees are laughing and joking around. Very bad first experience here!! 👎🏻 employee's were all teenagers. There's a time an place to joke around. Anm manager couldn't care less.
I’ve ordered from this Dibella’s using the online app multiple times. At least 3 or 4 times they’ve forgotten to add the bacon on my sub. One time i let them know they forgot the bacon and i was given a coupon for a few bucks off my next order, when i went to order using the coupon, they forgot the bacon again lol. This last time they forgot the bacon, and the spicy mustard. Who makes a sandwich without a condiment? I kept trying to go back thinking it was a fluke, but at this point it’s ridiculous. I’ll never go back to this location again.
Horrible. Placed an order for online pick up of 5 subs at 7pm. 7:30 still waiting and finally left at 7:40. One particular employee had zero interest in acknowledging customers and had no idea what was going on. One set of customers were handed their subs and nobody came to check them out at the register for at least 10 minutes. Person in front of me was waiting way past their pick up time for their online order and then was told they were out of an item they ordered. They left without it because they were already disgusted with the wait and received zero apology. After spending $90 on 5 subs, I get home and the bacon was missing on 3 of the subs, which added up to almost $10 I paid for but didn't receive. Absolute joke. Never again.
Stopped in to buy 3 large subs, no customers but employees busy making subs. Must be a lot of call in. Waited about 5 minutes to give my order, 7:08 pm. Ordered 2 cold subs and 1 cowboy. Paid 12 minutes later. 7:30 asked cashier what’s taking so long. Just then, an employee brought the subs over to her. She said they shouldn’t have taken 22 minutes. She didn’t know why but she kept apologizing for taking so long. I said it wasn’t her fault. Got home, cold subs good, cowboy not so good. Very dry, over cooked, fatty pieces. Don’t know what happened.
the food is twsty but go to another location... this location gets more orders wrong than they do right (i'm 2/6 in recent weeks), so I don't think I'm going to come here again. done getting charged 2/3 bucks more for 3xtrqs that are left off the sub, they can never seem to figure out which sub goes to which order, even watched someone
They are super slow, all they do is gossip , only a few good employees , and they always mess up with the order . They lack customer service . They only have about three employees who actually give a crap about the customers and for the price im better off going to subway to get a better deal and better customer service.
7pm on a wednesday & i had to wait 45 minutes in store for 2 subs because online orders take priority? Ppl that came in after me have come in gone + upon getting home the hot godfather i ordered wasn't correct and received a regular one. I also asked for a receipt and was told they couldn't look up my order and tried to ring me out for the same thing i ordered and give me a receipt that way, not ok. I used to visit here very very frequently but this is just ridiculous & I wont be back.
Ordered through GrubHub. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad. I received a bowl with lettuce and chicken. Small containers of buffalo sauce and a packet of blue cheese dressing. It didn’t come with the onions, banana peppers or pepper jack cheese. Clearly they do not care about delivery orders. As much as everyone says they are great if they good. If they don’t care about how they send out food for delivery I will never use them again or tell anyone else to go there.
Very disappointed in our experience, my wife had been very ill for the past couple weeks and decided she wanted to stay in for her Birthday today and just get takeout. She decided on DiBella’s subs and order a veggie sub with extra cheese. The cheese was almost nonexistent on both our sandwiches and despite paying nearly $3 for extra cheese there was barely one slice on the sub and my godfather had about an inch wide piece the entire length of the sub. Thank you to the kind man who gave me our order but we will not be returning to this establishment again. Please consider a local sub shop or maybe even Subway for the money as this is not the DiBellas that first opened at this location and for the price you can do far better.
Love the subs but waited 20 minutes for two sub orders (Latham). Watch six employees talk about school without processing the order with the manager walking by twice while emptying garbage. When they eventually handed me one sub and said will that be all I walked out since they never started the second sub. Did I mention I was the only customer in the building! Had to go to competitor to find employees who wanted to work.
I visited Debella subs in Latham, NY for the first time. I was very dissatisfied with the meatball sub sandwich. I waited about 20 minutes while several others received their subs. I was told they have to make the meatballs. The meatballs were very large; Too large to put in a sandwich. They were dry and cold. The bread was thick and I didn’t think I had to request the bread to be toasted or at least warmed up for a hot sub. The sandwich was $13+….. expensive in comparison to its competitors. The experience and sandwich was a huge disappointment and a waste of my time. I would not go there again.
Ordered steak and cheese with just steak and cheese. Twice I said just steak and cheese, she asks what kind of cheese, I say just provolone. Order a godfather she asks lettuce, tomatoes and onions, I say yes, she's making sure what I want. Drive all the way home open my steak, it has peppers onions and whatever else I didn't want on it. Why, just why, are kids that stoopid now a days that they can't handle food service. 16 bucks for a sammich you got to get it right. I'm not driving back to DiBellas from Brunswick so I guess I lose, but Dibella doesn't get another penny from me, they'll probably go out of business anyways.
Good sandwich, got the Buffalo chicken and had to go back in after leaving because they forgot to put buffalo sauce on my sandwich. Don't know how you forget to put on the namesake of the sandwich. The edit is taking this down to a two star sandwich place. Although half of my sandwich was good after I put the sauce they forgot on it, the other half seems to be mixed with someone else's sandwich. Have to say I understand why nobody recommended this place now
Hate to be negative about this place as I come here somewhat frequently, but today I was NOT impressed with my $15 “make my own” sandwich. There was hardly any roast beef on the sandwich. I ordered it with lettuce tomato and onion. It had no tomato’s on it and like 2 small pieces of onion. It reminded me of a gas station sub. Not what I expect for $15. Needless to say I’m upset and will question returning.
Dont understand what is so hard about making subs. Been going to dibellas for years and in the last few months things have gotten worse and worse. Had terrible experiences ordering through grubhub so I decided to go in person today and see if that changed things. It didn't. So much mustard i can barely taste anything else on the sub, all the veggies and meat are thrown into the center so there's no substance on the ends, no tomatoes even though its on the receipt, 6 pieces of spinach for a 10 in sub and 4 pickles, cold bacon. Feel like I could go on but tired of going there to be disappointed.
For the first time I was extremely disappointed with my sub. Ordered a dagwood with spicy mustard and I'm pretty sure whoever made it used more mustard than meat ratio was totally off. Roll became soggy and I threw out most of it. Unacceptable with amount of money you pay for the sub. Won't be going back for awhile... sub horrible... service was lacking very disappointed.
The subs are good when they get your order correctly, but they are the most inconsistent restaurant I've ever been to. This sub was supposed to have lettuce, tomato, onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers & cucumbers and they only put lettuce and onions on it? I'm a 25 minute drive away so im not spending another hour of my day driving back & forth when the order should have been correct to begin with.
