For my first time, I really enjoyed it, except the soup was undercooked and a bit pasty; I didn't like the consistency, but the seasoning was good. What I did try was the ancho chile relleno with stew, which was delicious and highly recommended. The red rice was also perfectly cooked. It's the first place in León where I've seen that actually calls it rice, not their usual "rice soup." It's better the way they advertise it! 💁🏻‍♀️ I'll definitely be back. Thank you so much! 👽

Whenever my family and I don't have time to cook, we go to this lovely little eatery. They have excellent service, and if it's busy, they have benches for you to wait your turn. It's a house that was converted into a restaurant with home-style food. They have a wide variety of stews, breaded cutlets, vegetables, and their traditional "sopa aguada" (a type of soup), which is delicious. They do sometimes fall a little short on the soup, though. They always mention having "sopa aguada," which is a traditional part of their cuisine and the reason for their name. But I think to maintain that tradition of home-style cooking, they should always have it available and also change the menu a bit. It's a home-style eatery, and something I've always noticed in other restaurants is that they always keep their menu focused on home-style food. Here, they try to make it a bit gourmet and lose sight of the home-style concept. Their food and desserts are high quality, and the cleanliness is excellent. I hope to continue eating here. I've eaten sporadically about four or five times, and the food is ALWAYS cold. The soup is cold, the rice is cold, the main course is cold, and even the tortillas are lukewarm. Not recommended.

Homemade food offers three dishes each day, which you can pair with side dishes and the soup of the day. The place is small, so if you go in a group of more than four people, you may have to wait a bit.

The first few times I went, I thought it was a good place, and I appreciated it fairly, but lately it's left a lot to be desired. The service isn't good; after 3 pm, they barely have anything to offer, and if you do find any leftovers... the seasoning and quality of the food are very disappointing. The cost is approximately $70.00, and they charge a commission if you pay by card. I don't recommend it. I hope to change my opinion in the future.

The first time I went, it was delicious and the service was good. But today I went for the second time and had to wait 15 minutes to be served. When a table opened up, the waitress asked other diners if they wanted to move to that table when it was my turn. They definitely need to improve their service.
