House Limerick

Service started a bit slow and then really didn't need them too much after. Food on the other hand, was fabulous!!!! Cheeseburger for my wife and fillet for me. I ended up with 3 different sauces to dip my food in. Fillet was great! So good!! French fries and cooked tomatoes were really good. So happy we tried here.

Absolutely amazing place. I really liked the atmosphere and decorations. The staff kind and friendly., food was fast delivered and really delicious 😋. Highly recommended 👌🥰

My wife and I were on a self-guided driving tour of Ireland and happened to spend the night in Limerick. After a disastrous dinner at The Establishment, we were ready for a drink to put dinner behind us. The waitress at the restaurant recommended The House Limerick as a nice place to wind down - she was right. When we entered, it was late and the place was pretty empty. The place was huge! They have a restaurant, coffee shop, three bars, a wine bar and a nightclub in the basement. The hostess sat us at the front bar where we met the nicest bartender. My wife asked for a smoked Old Fashioned which was something he had never made before. When he told us he had a smoker, we convinced him to give it a try - he did an admirable job. My wife enjoyed her drink very much. As we sat and chatted with the bartender (I am kicking myself for not remembering his name), the hostess came over and offered us a tour of the place. We got to see all of the bars and were taken downstairs to the nightclub. Very cool place! She also told us there were other Houses throughout Ireland. We highly recommend going here for a fun evening.

At the hotel we were staying, the concierge recommended this and I must say, c'est magnifique! The chicken wings are some of the best I've EVER had. Between the sauce (which was outstanding) and the way the chicken fell off the bone, they were marvelous (and I'm American and have eaten a wing or two in my day. Lol). We also had the Prawns Pil Pil. Just amazing. Then out server recommended we try the half chicken over fried gnocchi and fish and chips. SPECTACULAR! Absolutely amazing fish and chips and the chicken gnocchi - OH MY GOD! I also had an Ember (tequila drink) and a bloody Mary. Both were so tasty. Hugely and Highly recommended as the staff were also extraordinarily friendly and helpful as well. Amazing!

What a beautiful venue with very friendly staff. The food was amazing and the drinks were good too. There is such a lovely atmosphere here. My friend group came for brunch and the menu was fab - something for everything including vegan/gluten free. There is a beautiful powder room downstairs also ideal for a quick touch up. I would highly recommend House Limerick and will visit again for sure.

The restaurant is a modern restaurant whit chic decoration and on the waterfront. Their food was spectacular! Finally a salad with good avocado and little dressing.

Loved House. The food was amazing, drinks were amazing, the place itself.... Amazing. All the servers were so great, very attentive. We will be back.

You can have a good time, a wonderful view of the embankment. The food is tasty and fresh. A large selection of cocktails. Friendly waiters.

Absolutely brilliant! The food was Out Of This World, the staff was lovely and the atmosphere was so good!

Couteous and friendly staff. Exclusive enterior and nice food. There are activities ever so often. Live Music. Coocktail lessens. Makeup tutorials and more. Make sure to visit the restrooms, which are out of this world. But be prepard to climb a lot of stairs.

My sister and I came in for bottomless brunch on a Sunday for a treat. Wonderful waiting staff, great food and the nicest prosecco I've had in ages. Will definitely be back with some girl friends

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The floor manager made us feel incredibly welcome, setting the tone for a fantastic lunch with river wiev. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive without being overbearing.The food? Absolutely amazing! Duck wrap and steak sandwich full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The ambience was super cosy perfect for a relaxing. The lighting, decor, and overall vibe made it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended ! we'll definitely be back

Food is always good. This is one of my go to place that doesn’t disappoint - breakfast, lunch, dinner. I find this on the pricey side but oh well food flavor and presentation wise 😋👌

Had a beautiful brunch here this weekend, the staff are amazing, highly professional and attentive. Lovely modern floral decor, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend and I will certainly come here again.

I recently visited this bar/restaurant with a friend, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely staff member named Rosie. Her kindness and professionalism truly set the tone for the entire evening—she brought such a positive energy and made the atmosphere feel incredibly inviting. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Combined with the vibrant and relaxed ambiance, it made for a fantastic dining experience. Rosie really stood out and made our visit extra special. She’s a credit to the place! I honestly can’t recommend this spot enough and will definitely be back again soon.

Fab food & really nice cocktails great atmosphere.. if you want to eat here you need to make a reservation it was very busy even at 5pm

Great spot great vibes! Huge cocktail menu. Didn't have any food but the plates we saw passing us looked lovely.

A great and easy place to eat. Not rushed as we were in for 6pm and did not leave until after 8pm. Very comfortable and it was busy for a Tuesday. We booked but arrived early and that was not a problem to them. Will go again.

We had an amazing early dinner here! Rosie was our server and she was amazing. We had the goat cheese salad, duck gyoza dumplings chicken fingers and a burger!! It was all excellent. Drinks and servers were incredible cannot say enough about how great Rosie was really made for a great experience.

We went to House Limerick for my friends birthday and our waitress Michaela was genuinely amazing. She was so attentive and overall just an absolute joy to speak to, I couldnt recommend this restaurant enough based off her service alone!

I absolutely loved the decor and could see this place being so romantic rendezvous... But the music was just to loud for this olde man... It also looked like a younger crowd so even though it's a really nice looking place, will probably steer clear on my future walkabouts. 🍺tj

Ate goats cheese salad. It was pretty tasteless and all ingredients listed were not included. Was given incorrect one of my coffees. In a group and also made a few mistakes on thd drink orders. Some of the group on bottomless brunch. I felt waitress/waiter were slow to return to bring prosecco. We booked 2 hours but we're asked to move tables to make space for next booking before our allocated time was up.

Amazing bar! Nice atmosphere with the garden to terrace. Very chilled and good food too.

We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning . Food is really good. I would recommend the eggs benedict royale. The smoked salmon was very fresh. It's reasonably priced. Lovely views across the River Shannon.

Delicious eggs and ham Benedict brunch on the weekends. Great location by the river. Awesome interior decor and music. Fun and energetic staff. I found only one negative: it appears they have dirty glasses, so double check them. The two of us had 3 dirty glasses. Two had quite a bit of lint inside and outside from a drying towel, which could be polyester and unhealthy to consume. The lint turned into floaters when we poured water. One other glass the waiting staff noticed was very dirty and replaced.

A delightful establishment during the day, offering excellent cuisine and exceptionally friendly service. However, after 7 PM, the music escalates to a volume that makes conversation nearly impossible, even with someone seated right next to you. When I inquired with the staff about the excessive noise, I was told that they aim to drown out conversations. Yet, louder music only necessitates louder discussions! I find such reasoning perplexing. While I cannot recommend it for evening outings with friends, it remains an enjoyable venue for daytime gatherings.

I visited this place and spoke with Damie, the manager. Even though there were many open tables, I was told they were all reserved. It’s very frustrating to see so much space available but not be able to sit down. When I asked about the waiting time, I was only told that it “depends,” without a clear answer. We were a group of nine, just looking to enjoy some drinks together, but it wasn’t possible. It would be great if the place could better accommodate groups who want to come, relax, and have a good time.

I visited House for my birthday on 9th August. My husbands meal was OK but my meal arrived, one half lukewarm and the other cold. I gave it back to the waitress, she was very apologetic. The meal was heated up in the microwave and given back to me. The sauce over the chicken was like glue, not very nice.Very disappointing for my birthday. Will not be back.

Got shafted for close to 300e. We got a gift of a 200e voucher in November, went to use it tonight (5 weeks later) to be told they wouldn’t honor it. They’re in receivership, still trading, still taking money, and we’ve since discovered they were told by revenue not to take vouchers in late summer yet they continued to sell them. Would burn the place down if we could. 92e spent, as we were trying to use up the voucher before they closed, no signs up to say they won’t honor it, but they’ll take your cash for a voucher no problems on their site!!! The fact staff don’t even bring this to their customers attentions makes them just as culpable. Horrible people, delighted they’ll be out of work!!!
