Excellent tacos made with real beef. I like the nachos as well. You get very large portions on the salads, nachos and burritos. Add rice or anything else you like to any item and you've got a super SUPER. I particularly like adding rice. Most people like adding some kind of meat. The guacamole is unique. It's made fresh every day with no fillers. It is almost entirely pure avocado. That makes it a bit more expensive to make. However, the quality is excellent. You can add hot sauce, onions or lettuce to it if you wish.

The food here is excellent I always get the same order. I went to the Location in plano 20 years ago. Burrito melt (extra sour cream extra cheese) 2 soft tacos with 2 salsas. Try it you won't be disappointed. Congratulations on your many years of success.

SOOO happy the tortilla soup is back. This is the best fast food soup. With the big chunks of chicken and veggies in it, it taste more like homemade than fast food. I always get the guacamole because it's awesome and their salsa is my new favorite salsa.

Neighborhood fav affectionately referred to as "Taco D". The drive thru wait is usually short. Best salsa ever and they're not stingy. They always get special requests right (no sour cream). Some days I'm all about the Supreme Salad and others it's tortilla soup with guacamole.

I live in Lewisville, but was in the area and was happy to stop in. Does Jose Garcia still run the place? I don't know, but enjoyed the food!

Fast, friendly service and delicious food! We had the cheese enchilada platter and it was very flavorful! If you’re looking for delicious Tex Mex at a low price, then this is the place for you. The drive thru wait time was very quick. The homemade salsa is some of the best I’ve ever tried. I will definitely be returning here!

Literally the BEST salsa you can buy. Ask for a large salsa and they will give you a full 32 oz styrofoam cup of salsa. We drive out of our way just to go here and get a large salsa to take home. Their bean burritos are good too.

If you can set aside the fact that in general, crunchy taco shells are an abomination, this place is really pretty good. In the category of fast 'Mexican' food it's clearly at the top. Inside is clean, friendly staff, fresh shredded cheese and fresh salsa combined with a low price point makes this a fairly regular stop when I'm in the area.

What a surprise! 2/20, Friday at 7:00pm I ordered a Beef Taco salad and 2 Crispy Tacos. They were the BEST I have ever eaten. I don't know if it was because I was just very hungry or what? But I really think it was because of the Lady making the food. I had never noticed the white shredded cheese mixed with cheddar before and I think this was one of the reasons for the delicious taste as well as the well seasoned beef. All were Packed Full with goodness and I was thrilled with the taste. I tried to call personally to say Thank You, but didn't get an answer. I knew my Granddaughter loves their Bean Burritos when she visits but I will definitely stop by for my own food as well from now on and hope that nice lady is still there!

I always treat myself on my day off to a bean burrito with extra cheese and Queso from this place. It tastes like my mama made it. Well today I tried their tortilla soup because it’s a cloudy day. Let’s just say all winter I will be eating this soup. It’s perfect. And so worth every penny. I can’t wait to buy my mom a bowl when she comes to visit! She will love it! I have to give a GIANT shout out to the team at Taco Delite. I was in a major bind today because I didn't have enough food for my wellness seminar and they whipped up 60 tacos and some chips and salsa like it was nothing. So appreciative of the service provided and the patience with my last minute order.

Wow!!! Never been here before. It is amazingly fresh food and very inexpensive. The steak fajita meat rivals many Mexican sit down restaurants. The salsa is insanely good. The amount of food for the price is excellent . Can’t say enough good things. It’s about an hour drive from home, but we will be making another trip here ASAP. Super friendly staff as well.

No kidding!! This is the very, very best and freshest FAST FOOD Mexican food place I've visited! It's on the level of a quality restaurant but the speed of a drive through. Fresh EVERYTHING!! The food is fresh and yummy! I have never had a bad experience here. The salsa is freshly made daily and it is delicious!!! I always want to take it home and eat it later! The decor looks like an old diner. There are booths and tables to sit at. And one of the best parts (if you're a Texan) they have Dr. Pepper and Big Red! I highly recommend anything on the menu! It's all so good!!! The drive thru is quick too! Be sure to order extra salsa!

BEST FAST FOOD TEX-MEX! Don't pay attention to the folks that tell this place serves tasteless food. Their enchiladas are very good and you pay a lot less than going to a regular restaurant. Breakfast burritos with added bacon and potato is the best tasting and the best value around. Even their bean burritos have a great flavor!

I've been here several times, and the food is excellent. A particular favorite of mine is the chicken quesadilla...SO GOOD. I've never had anything I did not like. I gave it four stars, because more times than not? There is a communication issue. I speak my order very clearly over speaker, but it's *not* clearly heard. I've had to repeat myself multiple times, and my orders are simple. Also, the hours? I wish they were closed on Mondays instead of Sundays, and open past 9:00 on weekend nights. 9:00 pm is really early to close on weekend nights...IMHO.

Tacos are always good but the salsa the last 2 times we’ve been has been pretty salty. Like way too salty to where it’s really hard to eat it. Which is disappointing because that’s the main reason their tacos are so good. Bring back whoever was making the salsa before!

The Chicken Fajita Quesadilla is always on point and my favorite dish from this restaurant. I also ordered the Super Nacho’s. I knew as a take out, my chips would be soggy, so not a big deal. However, it really lacked flavor and the cheese sauce was bland and disappointing. I have had better nacho cheese from a jar. So, maybe skip this item unless you like bland things.

We eat here pretty regularly. Not gourmet Mexican food, but much better than taco bell. Price is right. My kids like it. I like it. All the right things to keep us coming back. I've gotten several of their menu items, but crunchy beef tacos are our staple (pro tip: they sell a 10 pack for a little discount)

I would give them more but everytime we go they just throw the food in the bag. Always just throw the tostadas around. When you complain they look at you like you're stupid

Today was my first time eating here. I ordered a taco, rice and fajita quesadilla. I love crunchy tacos so I ate that first and was so disappointed. My first thought was I’m never going back. However the quesadilla was so good it made up for the lack of flavor the taco didn’t have. The salsa is ok I was hoping for it to be a little more spicy but if you like mild you may like it. The rice I may try again and add lemon juice, and Pico de gallo because it was very bland also.

Usually I really like taco delight. They have salsa that is so yummy! Last time we went thru drive thru we ordered a couple of tacos and my favorite the chicken taquitos. Unfortunately they did not get the grease from fryer off before wrapping them up which resulted in a leaky bag that got all over my friends pants and greasy soggy taquitos. This was a one time incident otherwise it has always been great. I forgive you and I will come back. Recommend the enchilada plate and the taco salad and the must have salsa!

Look, it's not GREAT, but it is better than average as far as "fast food". I can't believe not one person has mentioned the queso. Word to the wise, it is cheese that CLEARLY came from a can. Not even as good as stadium nachos from a high school football game. My kids wouldn't even eat it. Awful. I will say however, the chicken taquitos were EXCELLENT!!!

I like this place, I really do... Compared to the other taco chain. But, I have a beef (pun not intended). If I order a salad that comes with meat (they all do, there's no other options) and I ask to have no meat and instead substitute for extra tomatoes and sour cream, I shouldn't have to pay $0.49 for tomatoes and $0.79 for sour cream when I took off the most expensive part of the meal; the meat. Really disappointed in that. Maybe make some meatless options?

Don't even know how to describe the cheese enchilada.. Very bland.. Was just a corn tortilla with some kind of white gummy cheese in the middle and watery cheese sauce in top.

Here is a picture of update menu prices. The chips are okay, except you only get a small bag with the salsa that’s $4. I asked for more and was told that was the “big bag.” The salsa was incredibly spicy, I could only eat a couple bites. The rice had no flavor.

I ordered the meat nachos with extra meat & cheese. Honestly, it wasn’t bad at all however I did question the cheese they use on their food. It’s not like queso cheese it’s this water base cheese that tastes nothing like cheese you would expect on meat nachos. If they change their cheese recipe then I would go back because price is affordable. Would I recommend this place? No, you can find better nachos at Taco Casa with decent cheese. Sorry Taco Delite

I had the chicken nachos. These were just ok this time. I've had better, and from this location. Was generally surprised. It had been a little bit, since the last time I had been here. So I feel I may have hyped it up more in my head than it was. However the staff there are very friendly. And by the time I had filled my fountain drink, my order was ready. And this is during a lunch rush.

It's totally not up to the hype that I have been given several times. I would rather eat at some other Mexican restaurant. Would not recommend.

Drive through is the only option now, so I have used it a few times. My order was simple, just cheese nachos with jalapeños. When I returned home with my order, there were no jalapeños. This is not the first time this has happened, but I believe in second chances. Not doing it again. There is too much good competition that can get a simple order correct!

I hadn't been here in a long time and I probably will not go back. The owner has lost a customer over the size of cups. Ordered a small drink they told me they were out of small cups did I want a large. I told them I would take a large cup if I got it for the same price because it wasn't my fault that they were out of cups and they absolutely refuse to do so and repeatedly claim they were instructed by the owner to not substitute a large cup. Then handed me a water cup🤔 Not the smartest business experience seeing how lost business is a lot more than a few cents of a cup.

I have been a long time customer since this location opened, sometimes purchasing on a weekly basis. They have continued to raise their prices and the customer service is trending down. I recently purchased about $50 worth of food and asked for 10 individual salsas. This equated to less than one salsa per item ordered. The woman in the drive thru gave me a strange face and resisted to give me the amount of salsas I asked for. After responding rudely to my request she actually shorted me even more in the bag after agreeing to less! I guess you no longer want loyal long-time customers over a few cents...fine.

This was the blandest, saddest Mexican food we've ever had. I don't think a seasoning exists in the kitchen, other than some salt. The pictures on the menus misrepresent the food. The queso is cafeteria Mac and cheese sauce in a Styrofoam cup. But the watery kind. Best things about this place: the salsa (not spicy at all but actually tastes fresh), the soda fountain, and the metal palm trees.

Just paid $8.99 for a super small salad that shouldn't have been more than $4.99

My order was messed up. 5he little girl called her owner. They asked me to come back and the they will get my order right. The owner said no. So my $15 order did not get fulfilled. The owner was arguing with me. He wasn't there. If you want a full order . Go somewhere else.

Normally when I see small taco restaurants I assume they will be authentic and delicious, I got it wrong this time. My beef burrito was ground beef in a burrito shell........that's it. I've made better at home. My daughter had 3 of the most unexciting tacos I've ever seen. PLEASE DON'T ORDER CHIPS AND QUESO! First, there is no queso, just cheese from a can heated up in a microwave. In the words of my daughter, " tastes like some plastic melted in the cheese while it was in the microwave". Nothing flavorful at all. To the people giving this place good reviews, which location are you talking about, it can't be the Little Elm location. As I was eating I kept expecting Candid Camera or a Punk'd crew to pop out and tell me it was all a joke and that I was on tv, unfortunately it was real life. Parking was ok.

This place is normally great however the last 2 times ive been through they have a hard time accommodating special requests. Example taco salad with no shell, lettuce, meat, cheese, and sour cream only. Get home and the plate has beans all over it. Keto friendly folks cannot have all those ingredients and in a pinch we should be able to get what we ordered. Seems like a pretty easy request. Plate in the trash.

If I could give no stars I would. Ordered 4 bean burritos with extra cheese which I was charged for. I called them to let them know because it was almost 9 I could not get order replaced. I was told my name was put on the “list” to have replaced. I tried to go today and I was told my name wasn’t in the list and nothing the manager Lorenzo Gonzalez could do. He was extremely rude. I asked for corporate number and he gave me the court location phone number. I spoke to mr. Garcia pretty much said he can’t do anything.. customer service sucks! I will never go back!!!

NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! My family and I recently moved to little elm, today we decided to try Taco Delight for lunch. Shortly after eating the food, myself, my pregnant wife, and my 3 year old daughter experienced extreme stomach pain along with vomit and diarrhea. I tried to call the restaurant, however, the manager was incompetent and very rude.

Got a COLD chicken burrito, three bean and unmelted cheese burritos that were so salty our throats burned, and a chicken taco with blue stuff in it. I'm convinced they just grab stuff out of the freezer, microwave it and serve it in a tortilla. The only good thing was the nachos. They were out of beef too. And they were not sure how to pay attention when taking an order- coming and going willy nilly. I can't believe this place stays in business.

I've been going to this location for over five years. I generally eat pretty healthy. So it's a real treat, to get to eat fast food every once in a while. Every time I go to this location, it's hit or miss! I'm always going to give places a second third fourth chance, but not anymore.I'm done with taco Delite. We all know everything's very expensive.Especially fast food now, for another 2 or $3, you can go to casual restaurant. You can get way better quality food. The food here is really expensive.Almost thirty dollars for 6 small items. The girl in the drive through. I couldn't even put one order in, there was no other customers. She forgot my order even at the drive through window. I repeated it again and reminded her to make sure nothing was forgotten. She forgot my kids bean burrito. The only thing she wanted, so we got home.It wasn't in there.So I had to go to another restaurant and get her something eat! So my food's cold by the time I get home. I asked for extra salsa, they put 5 tiny little half filled ramekins for 6 items. And she was kind of rude. I was going to call and just see if they can put another item for next time or take it off. No number, no way to contact them. What a cool business. Anyways, i'm warning everyone very expensive bland fast food. Nonexistent, customer service and no way to contact management poor business. No moss, taco delight for me, steer clear this place.

Come on Taco Delite you gotta do better! The regular tacos are awesome however your breakfast is shameful. I ordered 2 breakfast tacos and a breakfast burger. All with sausage that costs $3+ to add it and even though it’s frozen patty sausage you’re using, with all three items there wasn’t a full sausage patty total between all 3 items!!? Come on! I know you can do better I expect better you CAN do better. FYI this was my second attempt at your breakfast and it was the same both times.
