Update: Still at 5 stars and the food continues to be amazing. Had the shrimp plate and the lady had the fish...both were top notch and it's still the best in town !! We shared a couple of tacos to complete the adventure. Had a great breakfast of chorizo and eggs. After posting the review, I was contacted by the owner thru the review. I've changed this from a 4 star to a 5 star review. They wanted to know where they can improve and more about our experience. In my mind any restaurant that wants to be 5 star can only reach that by showing they want the best for their customers by their High Standards and the Service they provide. Reaching out to see where to improve on a good 4 star is exactly that... 5 star material !! They wanted me to share more so they could improve. Heres more info for others. We came in for breakfast and had 2 orders of Chorizo and eggs and my other friend had Chilequiles and eggs. Everything was spot on, looked great, and tasted amazing. My friend was looking for a hotter salsa and found exactly what she was looking for in a clean and cold salsa bar. The ladies loved their meal and liked the atmosphere. My advice for the future is this. Keep going like you are and you will always dominate the downtown with great food. It's a great place for authentic food.

I really enjoyed the michelada and the Shrimp cocktail I was looking into other costumers their dishes looked absolutely delicious and they left their plates empty my shrimp cocktail was so flavorful and it had very big jumbo juice shrimp the michelada had some shrimp around it and boy where they delicious I think they are camarones ala plancha. I will be back to try again. The salsa bar was excelente.

Top notch. Clean flavors with the beef asada and chicken Pastor. The tacos were put together beautifully with fantastic flavors. Refried beans and rice were delicious and fresh. The hot salsa was amazing. I definitely go back.

I had the Chile Relleno. It was very good. I hadn’t realized the pepper would be breaded. Lots of food including three tortillas.

Amazing chips! Salsa great - green sauce especially good. Had carne asada and carnitas tacos (carnitas better). The weakest part of the meal was the meat (other taquerias may have more flavorful meats). But overall, worth a repeat.

I dream of the beans from Tequila's Taqueria. They are SO SO SO flavorful. I don't live in Livermore, but every time I visit, it is one of the first places I come! Their taco combo plate is THE BEST. I love that they serve it with grilled onions and a whole pepper. Just writing this review is making me hungry. Get the beans, you won't be disappointed. Their salsa bar is also great, all of them are so authentic and delicious! I prefer to take the food to go, but there are a few tables at a clean dining room inside as well.

I have been coming to tequilas with my dad since I was young. I love their food and the people working there are so sweet and kind. Prices have risen with the economy but well worth the money. We don’t live here anymore but it’s a must go to when we come back. Best Mexican food in Livermore!!!

Went here in between classes. Saw they had a good rating. Found out why. Food was fresh, fast, and best of all... TASTY! Everyone was nice. Considering I paid a similar price for food that wasnt event .01% as good. The price seemed fair for the area. I will return.

Very expensive for average mexican food. After tax it is near 20 bucks for a burrito

I ordered two tacos thru Door Dash. Door Dash was very prompt. The problem was the food. The tacos were covered with sour cream and unmelted cheese which was cold. It made the tacos inedible. Everything was cold. I love their super burritos, but I was not that hungry. I thought I would try the tacos. Big mistake. I will go for the burrito again but never the tacos. Horrible

This could have all been cleared up if the cashier simply turned around and looked at the menu board to see the price and honored it at the time. Then take up the price decrepancy with you, the owner at a later time.
